We stopped by on a Monday to check it out and loved it. Nice patio and wide selection of beers. Indoor section was nice, cool, and roomy. They have $2 off beers on Wednesday! We will be back!

We stayed at this wonderful place for a “girl’s trip” and it was perfect! So well-appointed, thoughtfully prepared, and full of peace. Thank you for a lovely experience. We hope to be back again soon! Highly recommend!

One of the best patios and beer selection in Denton

Melody , Lindsay , and Autumn gave us the best service we could have asked them for. We had a lot of drinks and they took care of us. They also even helped us out with the pool table. They made our night the best night that we could’ve had in a while. Harvest house is the place to be at if you want a good time good drinks and great service. Thank you for reading this post! :)

The vibe of this place is superior to pretty much every other bar downtown, like not just the decor or the fantastic backyard/patio but the bartenders too! I got chatting with Lindsey and Autumn and Melody and their chemistry together and the way they remembered my name made me feel so at home. This is definitely my regular spot for good drinks and good times with friends.

Don't let Google fool you they don't serve food but they are absolutely the best atmosphere. Wish more people knew about them but as an introvert I love it when I go and there's only like 3 people lol Drinks are pretty decent prices. They have some thc drinks too and are super queer & pet friendly!

This bar is cute and relaxing. There are couches, high tops, and a garden outside. Many nights out of the week, they have live music. Wonderful place for a casual date, night out with friends, or a reading corner in the couches by the back.

This place is awesome! The bartenders were friendly. The drinks were affordable and there's a HUGE variety to choose from. Personally, I love the Slow and Low Lemonade they have on tap. The patio and stage area is amazing! It's comfy and really nice. I'm definitely going back again and again.

Great place for a date night! My wife and I stopped in a few weeks ago to celebrate our anniversary and had the best evening we could have asked for. The staff was super friendly and the service was top notch. The food was simply amazing. I haven't had paella that delicious since our vacation in Barcelona. My wife especially enjoyed the gazpacho and the albondigas. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I've always liked this location to grab a drink with friends outside of Fry, less drunk college kids and generally more welcoming than the other run of the mill bars in the area. However, I've come to not love the place with the newer staff. Went by a week or so ago and a brunette woman, who I believe was a manager or shift lead, was incredibly unkind. The service is terrible, drinks are overpriced for being made poorly, and the bartender didn't speak to any of the customers. The other one I spoke to also seemed to hate their job, a redhead who for some reason kept empathizing how broke she was(?) More than anything, it really seems like it's some teenagers trying to run a bar. I always tip reasonably no matter what, but this is a crew where I can understand the dissatisfied customers that lowball. Hopefully there will be some turnover or some management involvement soon so I can actually show up again and enjoy it! Never before have I seen it such a mess and I've been here for almost 6 years now. Will not be planning any events or meetups for the foreseeable future. Better bet is Eastside or the other bars on the square if you want to be treated like a human or even spoken to.

Really great, friendly staff. Big outdoor area. Tons of board games available. Drinks were quick and tasty.

Great space, loved the outdoor area. The live music was great. The drinks were good. It's a busy area so parking is an issue. You may need to park rather away and walk.

Friendly staff and a very cool place that has a great selection of beer and serves really awesome Vietnamese food!! Dibs and I had good bbq for lunch and thought we'd just have a light dinner so we ended up here while looking for a brewery. We sat outside and ordered food from The Pickled Carrot. We shared a Philly Cheesesteak and an order of egg rolls (3). The sandwich was huge so it was more than enough for 2 and it also came with a choice of chips. The Philly Cheesesteak was very good, easily one of the best we've ever had!! The egg rolls were packed with a very flavorful filling of pork, mushrooms, glass noodles, onions, carrots and cabbage!

Good live music venue. Need quarters to rent pool table, darts were easy to get (just need an ID as collateral). Does not allow dogs in outdoor seating when "live music" is playing. Tonight the "live music" was a DJ playing prerecorded songs. There is a section very far from the stage, so I don't understand why this was an issue. Would be 5 stars if their dog policy was logical.

One of the best bars in Denton. The staff is always friendly, the cocktails are always well crafted, and their beer selection is always on point. Great place to chill and their music on the weekends is awesome. Great outdoor space with fire pits and pool tables. Swing by and you won't be disappointed!

I don't like to give out 5 stars because I don't believe anyone is perfect, but I can't think of any reason to knock off a star in this case. Harvest House is a great bar with an excellent patio and nice inside atmosphere. I am not a beer drinker, but it looks like they have a great selection. They have great cocktails and games to play inside.

Harvest house has a coffee station and a bar tap station. You can enjoy both if you'd like! This place is really awesome and spacious! Great vibes! Def would come back again!

Fun place with several avenues for your enjoyment in a bar setting...beer was cold and several types available...had fun in my two trips and will visit again when in the area

Drinks here are pretty solid, I got the midnight sun (cocktail) and the mango jungle (beer), and a couple other drinks I can't think of the names. Mango jungle was probably one of the best beers I've ever had, this will definitely be a staple every time I come back. Ambiance was nice, it's a nice rustic environment which isn't too surprising because of the location. Highly recommend. I'll more than likely stop here every month considering I work 4 min away walking distance haha. Check it out!

Awesome ambiance, beer, food truck, and music! Heaters and fire pits are so cozy and perfect for cold evenings. The beer selection is all on tap. The food truck's food was really really great too!

The drinks were very tasty and the service was great! The only downside was one of the pool tables, the cueballs kept getting stuck but that's no one's fault! They helped whenever we asked to get it unstuck. Outside was very chill with nice music!

Love this little place. Reminds me so much of home (Austin). They have a lot of beer but they do have a bar as well and have some of my faves (Deep Eddy- varied, St. Germane, and Hendricks Gin....). Bartenders can make really anything that you can think of and can make some suggestions. Outside of beer they have a small cocktail menu but the bartenders are great so don't sweat it. We especially love their handmade juices. I always get Totem (Beet/carrot/apple) juice with lemon vodka so that I get extra veggies in my day. If you are not a beet fan they have other juices with pair well with vodka or just go with vodka soda! Their outside area is so cute. Lots of little vignettes to tuck away into. Outside offers an area for a live band, very large groups, small romantic spaces or whatever floats your boat. If you get hungry they do have food trucks or walk a block and grab a snack!

We came here for a New Belgium Brewing private event and had the carpe blanche experience. The check in at the front was quick and easy. The space was huge and while most of it is outdoors, there was a decent amount of seating indoors. There is a large, long bar inside and also one outside that wasn't open on this evening. Also outside, were some pool tables and a stage where a DJ was playing a set. Part of the outdoor area is under cover and there are both large and small tables, and lounge type seating. There is also corn hole and other lawn games. The staff was great and the bathrooms clean. We parked in their lot next door and it was no problem. Would love to come back here during a weekend night!

I would rate them zero stars, but I've been a loyal customer for two years with my dog. However, tonight, I was told that dogs aren't allowed due to live music, even though there's no signage indicating this change, and it was mentioned by the bar staff without prior notice.

They are rude. Even though I was at a table they refuse to serve me. Please don't feel sorry if they cannot make business: they cannot serve anyone. They are very rude, condescending and disrespectful. Don't expect hospitality from them. They are college kids without regard for anyone not in college. Don't patronize this business if you are not barely 21.

Nice place, I will go again. Beer selection was above average and the music was great. The natural light beer tap for water was a nice touch. The seating was not comfortable near the stage, picnic tables are not the best for anyone to listen to music. The other problem was the set list said the bands were going in one order but when we got there they were in a different order. I don't know if it was the bands fault or the venue but we missed the band we came for.

Great beer selection... Poor service, poor atmosphere. Force you to use a digital menu, which isn't a big deal, except there's no prices on it... Which is an important thing when you're dealing with craft beer that can vary wildly in price. Then they force you to sit outside... Surrounded by smokers. Distancing between tables means nothing when big clouds of cigarette smoke is blowing at you... Beyond nasty that they allow cigarettes in 2021... Then they make a huge stink about forcing you to wear masks when you aren't near anyone... I feel their priorities are not in order. After being told that I can't be served at the bar and had to be at a table... I was ignored for almost 5 minutes while waiting on someone to acknowledge my presence. Between the forced isolation, cigarettes, and slow service, I will not be coming back to this former staple of mine.

I had not been to Harvest House since before Covid, and now that I am finally vaccinated I was very excited to go back! The experience was different than pre-pandemic but it was great. They were doing table service and you could see the menu view a QR code. Staff was awesome and all masked up. It was really nice to sit outside:)

This is one of our favorite stops on a bike ride. The staff is knowledgeable about their beers, and they are friendly in a way that makes you feel like you're at home. It's our first stop on a pub crawl. They exemplify what it means to be hanging out in Denton. (My husband wants to apologize for not getting Alex's name right ever.)

I really enjoyed this place. The setup inside and out are both superb. It's very clean everywhere, even the restrooms are very spotless. It was really hot, so we stayed inside, but the outdoor area has a lot of charm, and a pretty enormous outdoor stage for live music. They have a ton of great beers on tap to choose from, plenty of variety. I've been to a lot of taprooms recently and I have always preferred the ones that offer a few different sizes.. sample sizes, half pours, etc. They don't. When I'm at these places, I'm often branching out. I realize most places will give you small samples but I would happily pay $2 for an ounce or two of many different beers in order to have the most variety and not commit to a pint of something I've never tried before. The staff seemed knowledgeable and friendly. I wish I could transplant this place closer to home so I could be a regular. I don't get to Denton much unfortunately. It's absolutely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Walked in with friends and the staff looked us up wind down, no warm welcome, just "IDs." The servers stood behind the counter giving dirty looks when we had only been in for a couple minutes. The next group after us got a nice, warm, "Hi, welcome in guys!" so we walked out. Two stars because drinks looked nice, but didn't want to stay long enough to try them. Wish we could have gotten the same welcome others did.

I love the hell out of this place - we bring our dog often for after-work drinks. Best outdoor patio in Denton. Great beer selection, as everyone notes. It's true, as some reviewers have noted, that it sometimes takes patience to get your drinks made or your beer poured. But this is Little D and we move at our own speed. Show some patience, friend. It's also true that dogs have to leave at 8:00 p.m., when the bar tends to get louder and more crowded. That's because some dogs get more nervous in those conditions and their behavior gets more unpredictable. How about being grateful dogs are allowed at all? I've never had a bad experience here - keep doing what you're doing, Harvest House!

This place is so Denton and very awesome. Many beers to choose from, house made juices (and ice cubes from the same juice!), kombucha on tap, and coffee. They also make specialty drinks on some occasions. It's nice to be able to go somewhere to drink with friends, even if you aren't in the mood for alcohol. Beautiful decor inside and out. Indoor seating, and a huge outdoor seating with tables and chairs, picnic tables, couches. Great place to bring your dogs and sit outside for a drink. They have a taco truck outside that has amazing sweet potato quinoa tacos. I was very impressed! Large stage outside for music, pool tables, cornhole game, everything you could want in a hang out place. I enjoy coming to Karma Yoga here and grabbing something refreshing afterwards. Very friendly staff too. No complaints!

Fun, huge place, great beer selection, lots of good bands. The negatives are that it's mostly outside (too hot for that!) and it's always WAY too crowded so getting drinks at the bar takes a while.

Ok, this place makes me miss Denton like crazy!!! Where was this uber cool place when I was in college here??? I'm embarrassed to admit where we had to hang out.... Seriously, this place is incredible. Located on the lot next to Weldon's...which I think used to be an empty lot, it looks like a beacon for fun times. The whole area around Hickory Street has been transformed over recent years and is a Mecca for where all the cool people go for food, drinks and music. Harvest House has the best outside seating. They have fire pits with comfy seating that invite you to sit a bit and stay. They have a covered pavilion that's heated in the winter. I'm always freezing (by product of living in the desert for years) and I was as toasty as could be!! I was told the live music will start back up in about a month. I can only imagine sitting back there seeing the lights of the Square, enjoying a unique beverage and listening to some Denton grooves. They have a full bar, awesome, creative twists on cocktails and a great local beer selection. They also have a coffee bar with fresh juices. No need to drive all the way to Dallas anymore my friends, this place is legit!! Can't wait to come back!!

Went to this place with some friends and got a Luke warm beer. I ordered a Lagunitas and afterwards they told me they had a problem with their cooler. Would've been nice to know before ordering. The waitress came by asking if we needed anything and I asked for an ice water. She stated that I could go and get it myself if I wanted one. Honestly the ambiance is what gave this place 2 stars. Customer service = 0 stars. We'll see if we come back.

bartender Al was really nice and accommodating when I wasn't sure what to get and mixed together the perfect off-menu drink. and they had a great space for my friend's reception

Outstanding music venue. Sol Kitchen band is one of the best bands that we have heard in Denton. Nathan Fenner they call him purples is one of the best guitarists we have heard in a long time. The entire band is primo. We don't get out much, but we make sure that every other Wednesday to go see this live band, the atmosphere at Harvest house is great as well. You must go see.

We love this place. We're often there during the day when it's quiet and drinks are pretty cheap and good(we had a white russian and margarita today for 5$ each). Their mimosa's are really good too and made with their fresh juice. We both bring our computers and use the free internet. There are a lot of great places to eat in walking distance if you get hungry. This is a great place to hang out.

Crappy bar, there are way better places in Denton to chill and spend your money. They have 1 decent bartender, the specials suck, and there are a ton of places here that you'll have the same beer selection. There's nothing special about it, it's a waste of a night out

Stopped in after dinner with some friends and really enjoyed this place. Large bar with numerous craft beers on tap. No bar stools, providing easy access to peruse and order the beer of your choice. Ample seating, and large outdoor area, with pool table, darts, and a stage for live music. Really nice spot to catch-up with friends over a few cold beers. I'm sure weeknights get really hopping, and I'm looking forward to finding out!

From the staff to the management this place is amazing! Covid restrictions in place all while delivering exceptional service. Highly recommend if you're in Denton and looking for a nice spot with indoor/outdoor seating. Stop by and get ready for a great time.

Nice place -- excellent selection of interesting beer. Kombucha was on tap and delicious too. Large bar, airy seating area and great location off the main square. All they need are some Edison bulbs for lighting and it's hipster paradise.

Another great place in Denton. They have a huge patio with live music. The have a ton of beer choices (possibly too many choices) and the staff knows a lot about each selection. The staff is great and always ready to make a recommendation. One of the few places to get kombucha on tap. Love kombucha. They also have fresh juices. This is great because can stop by if feeling healthy and want something to make me feel good or wanting some great beer. They have a food truck that makes delicious tacos. Can even make us vegan & vegetarians some great food. This is a fun place to go and have a drink with friends.

Wow. This place is one of THE GREATEST places to spend summer in Denton at. Love the Live Red kambucha. I've heard the live music is great. I will be back next school year.

Fantastic, fabulous, freaking rocks! My hubby and I stopped by this place for a quick drink. Amazing beer selection, hand crafted cocktails, coffee, tea, Kombucha... the list goes on. Laid back atmosphere. Tons of outdoor space with ample seating, games, and events! They're even furry-friendly (dogs). Definitely a gem in downtown Denton!

This place is right out of hipster central casting and I mean that as a complement. Yes, the place is crawling with them. But the aesthetic this place has presented in order to attract said crowd is there for all to enjoy. The greens are coming out of the walls and festoon the giant wrap around patio. Edison bulbs, comfy chairs, check check. Really a beautiful space evocative of great beer bars of Portland or Denver. Above average beer selection although we knocked off a star for the heavily TX-Craft weighting. Local beer is overdone in this town. Until the quality is there, better to diversify.

My home away from home? This is a wonderful place to have a cup of teaor get an afternoon drink with plenty of options an the most caring bartenders. HH is a locale.

Must try- strawberry hibiscus cider. It is soo good! So are the V fries. Delicious! There was live music too. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Awesome place!

Slowest service ever. Cocktail craft house? More like cocktail crap house. why do the musicians sound like they're playing one same song for two hours? Get better lyrics, and bartenders. It's cool they have coffee tho. Will be back

I don't think I've ever had anything bad at harvest house. I've had drinks ranging from freshly pressed juices, coffee, to cocktails and beer.

I love this bar! There is no other place like it. The juice cocktails were my fav. Fresh and delicious! I was visiting Denton from Houston and felt right at home. The bartenders were incredible. Dennis and Abbi totally made my night.

I already love this place because of the atmosphere, the staff, the drink selection, the music, the tacos and then they play a whole set of The Carpenters over the speakers on request. I love you Harvest House

Nice place...clean and roomie. I would have given it more stars but one bartender's horrible customer service ruined it. DJ was awesome..5 stars for him. If you like beer this is the place to go. I don't drink beer but they have plenty of cocktails. I went to the bar, asked the bartender was the best cocktail. She told me and said it's so good, they make their own juice, etc. I ordered it Ginger Gin or something like that. I took one sip and gagged. To me, it was horrible. I took it back to the bar and a gentleman bartender waited on me. I told him I didn't like the drink and can I just get a regular margarita. He said ok. I thought great customer service..... After he makes the drink, he then asked if I had a tab. I told him I paid cash. He threw up his hands and said I can not give you a free drink. I said I didn't like that one. He rudely, embarrassingly responded well it's a popular drink. People are started to stare... wow!! I was shocked, it was not popular to me. I asked him how much was the drink and I paid the $5.00 for the margarita. $5.00, the way he acted, I thought it was $20.00. It was less than the other drink..so I wasn't trying to get a free drink. I paid the $5.00 and no...I SURE DID NOT tip him...I did on my other gag me drink). I left and took the other drink back to the table and let it sit there untouched. I brushed off his rude customer service and had a great time. If they do not replace drinks, they should state that, at the beginning of the conversation, not after a drink is made and given to the customer. I didn't mind paying for the drink .... his defensive attitude was horrible and I hope they don't treat all unsatisfied customers this way. I will go back, and will make sure and drink what is popular to me or drink nothing at all. The food truck was good and again 5 stars for the DJ.

Love this place, the vibe, the atmosphere the drinks! Nothing over the top here, just a cool place to hang out with your friends and family. We took another couple here this past weekend and they were surprised at how down to earth it was, it was like a hidden gem to them. I haven't spoken about the how many beers and drinks there are to chose from! I really dig this place, i'll definitely be back and i'm sure our friend will be back as well.

So... I've been at this establishment before and really enjoyed it. Great atmosphere. However, this last time, a friend of mine ordered the same beer # three times in a row and each time got a different beer. That was weird because he ordered the specific beer on purpose so to receive a different one each time was annoying.
