I can't even begin to explain how this was, the thought, the preparation, the waiters the environment, everything was perfect, my wife finally found a wine she likes and we told the waiter that at the end of the night they gave us a free bottle on the waiter. The waiter paid for a free bottle of wine for us I couldn't believe it. As we finish the night we got polaroid pictures and the chef came out to personally greet us. I'm in shock and awe how we were treated how much they did for us and how much of a memorable night they gave us. Out of the four years me and my wife have been together this was the best most memorable most amazing night of our lives. Don't think about going to this place if you want to do it. Thank you to all the staff thank you to the chef thank you to all the waiters you guys made that night the best night of our lives. My heart goes out to all of you as does my wife's for making it so special for us thank you so much. We will be coming back again thank you for all of your effort that you put into it. This place is AMAZING.

What a fun delicious experience! The food was not only beautiful but also delicious. Chef Bryon was delightful and the staff was so much fun. I can’t recommend enough!

Google
Harvester Kitchen is spectacular in all aspects. Featuring meat and vegetables from local farmers, Chef Bryan ensures he has the highest quality ingredients and he knows how to use them. He's created some of the most unique and creative dishes I've had and he's right here in Downtown Sioux Falls. It's absolutely amazing that we have this level of restaurant in our city as it would be a top restaurant in any major city. I love that there's an ever changing tasting menu and the events are great culinary experiences. They're always expertly paired with wine.

Google
The staff was lovely. Price wise I would've expected the food to come hot but it was warm at best. Food was tasty and we had great options. We received our bread kind of as an afterthought. I think it was to be served with the steak? It was FREEZING in there and water dripped on me during our meal. Not sure we'd be back.

If you’re looking for a splurge in Sioux Falls, this is your place! Upon arrival we were greeted with a small chalice of Prosecco because it was Sunday and why not share some bubbles?! We tried the five course tasting menu…we enjoyed all of the course, especially the duck and salmon. Each course is small but they add up! The sauces accompanying each dish were phenomenal! The presentation was top notch and the staff went above and beyond to chat with us and make us feel not just welcome but AT Home! I would say that the wine pairing was a bit pricey at $85 for 5, 3 ounce glasses. You could easily buy two or three 5 oz wines by the glass instead, so that was lil pricey in retrospect. At the time, each wine and pairing was spot on and truly added to the dish. The dessert was a miss for me… fresh strawberries with balsamic with cake and some sheet of vanilla crème? It didn’t work, I’m a texture eater, plus it tasted kind of fishy… I didn’t dig it. The little cookies which accompanied dessert were wonderful and the caramel upon departure at the door were delightful! To their credit, we met the chef, Bryan as we exited and he offered to make me a new/ different dessert. At the time I thought, no that too much… but maybe I should have?! Definitely 5 star in Sioux Falls!!

Google
The food was delicious. The servers were the best! They were interested in our thoughts and extremely knowledgeable in their craft. We visited for my birthday, and they did not hesitate to provide candles and balloons and an extra dessert. My favorite food was the French toast. The menu changes monthly, so I am posting this month's along with what I ate.

Google
This restaurant was absolutely incredible! The ambiance is tranquil and warm. The staff are knowledgeable, kind, and bring a welcoming vibe. They even took a Polaroid photo of us to keep! The food was astounding. We chose the larger course; every dish is carefully crafted, beautifully presented, and incredibly delicious. The drinks were an amazing touch. I had mocktails that really impressed me. The "Dirty Lemonaid" was so good, I want to make it at home! This place deserves every bit of 5 stars, and I highly recommend it.

Google
Took my best friend here for a birthday dinner and the whole experience was amazing! The wait staff was knowledgeable about the food and had wonderful stories around the dish and it's creation. I wish I remembered our waitress' name because she was seriously so great! The Chef definitely shows how much he cares with every dish. Super superb! Definitely will be coming back for other occasions!

Yelp
We had another amazing foodie experience here. As expected, the menu was slightly different than last month's and was just as exciting. We had the same sommelier who once again was accommodating and knowledgeable. Perfect service as before.

Yelp
The ambiance is very welcoming and warm. Makes you feel at home and like you want to stay a while! Each course was uniquely curated with flavor and elegance and it was delivered with professionalism, kindness and attentiveness! The candle in the bathroom was a delightful aroma, adding to the ambiance! It was a new experience that left me feeling full and satisfied at the end!

Yelp
It is a restaurant poised at the cusp of very good into excellence. And admittedly, Sioux Falls was not where we expected to find a restaurant of this quality. The food alone or the wine alone are very, very good. Some of the dishes are divine, even. But it is in the pairing that the meal transcends, the components complementing and elevating each other. The menu changes constantly, kept current to Chef Bryan's dictates. So I won't try to predict or offer a guarantee that elements of my meal will be available. Instead, I can tell you of the harmony in flavors and textures found in my seared foie gras with black walnut marmalade and fig sorbet. or the surprise of how the slight formaldehyde note that lingered a bit past midway taste in the 2017 Hourglass Blueline Merlot disappeared and the wine gained complexity and harmony paired with the Roquefort toast. It is an art worth a detour to taste. Supported by the city, it has the promise of becoming worthy a journey on its own. Look

Yelp
This was an amazing culinary experience. The staff is amazing. Our server Iliza (sorry if I spelled the name wrong) was amazing! Super down to earth and helped us with great suggestions of what to order. Best experience I have had in a VERY long time. We don't have food like this in Arizona so it was very special! The decor is wonderful, the music was spot on, and the space is put together very well. I would recommend this place to everyone!! We were taken on an epic journey with our tastebuds. A lot of care and thought was put into everything we ordered. Well done!!!

Holly P.

Yelp
Amazing food! We love it here. The menu is very innovative and the service was attentive. We loved the wine pairing with the courses. Must try! Amazing food! We love it here. The menu is very innovative and the service was attentive. We loved the wine pairing with the courses. Must try!

Yelp
We have eaten here a number of times and the food and service have been incredible each time! We can't recommend it highly enough!

Gregg E.

Yelp
Ambiance is this restaurant's best feature and it is superb. The food quality and service are also excellent. Unfortunately, the portion sizes are quite small and the prices very high. If you are at all concerned about the amount of food and drink you get for the price you pay, this place is not for you. If you are not concerned in this regard, you'll love the ambiance and the food will be tasty.

Yelp
Wow just wow!! I did not expect this in Sioux Falls South Dakota. Everything was awesome. The service and the food quality was as good if not better than most gourmet restaurants in NYC, LA or Las Vegas. I was so impressed with the server team they were so knowledgeable about the wines and foods. Everyone came from a scratch kitchen so it was super fresh. The flavors and quality veers amazing. This is definitely in the top ten of meals I have eaten. I will definitely come back again.

Yelp
So I finally made it to Harvester Kitchen by Bryan. I was really looking forward to trying this place after listening to the reviews, this place exceeded my expectations by a long shot. The service was absolutely exceptional, the staff were all professional, the attentiveness to our questions was impeccable, and that's just walking in the door, getting seated and ordering. As someone who's reviewed many restaurants I can say without hesitation that the food was absolutely incredibly delicious, from the fresh warm bread roll to the Raw Oysters with Caviar followed by the Blood Orange Glazed Octopus, finally the American Wagyu Tenderloin with Parsnip, Saba Braised Cipollinis In Red Wine Sauce. The dinner was paired with a glass of red wine (Cabernet Sauvignon) at the servers suggestion. Everything was delicious, the presentation, impeccable. This is a fine dining experience everyone should try. I highly recommend you give this place a visit.

Yelp
Whenever I visit Sioux Falls, I sure hope to be able to make it back to Harvester Kitchen by Bryan. Last year, a smaller group of us ordered off the regular menu and enjoyed every dish. This year, I was lucky enough to be invited to join a larger group and sample their tasting menu. For me, what sets this restaurant apart even more so than the food is kind and friendly staff who are incredibly passionate about providing top-notch service. In an era when customer service seems to be a lost art, the folks at Harvester Kitchen make you feel welcomed and that they're happy you chose to dine with them. It truly elevates the experience even more, as they are simultaneously unpretentious and comfortable, yet extremely professional and knowledgeable about the menu. We had the Steakhouse tasting menu, and the starters of the smoked goat cheese gougeres and the arancini. Everything was delicious, but my absolute favorites were the smoked goat cheese gougeres and the American wagyu striploin. I'm a sucker for anything with goat cheese, and the smoked aspect in this dish elevated the flavor to new heights. While I enjoyed the other 2 beef courses on the tasting menu, the wagyu striploin had the most concentrated pure beef flavor. We started with sparkling wine for the appetizers, then there were bottles of a chablis and a pinot noir for the tables. The chablis was nice, straightforward and drinkable, pairing well with the first courses. What really surprised me was how much I liked the pinot noir. I usually prefer a zinfandel, montepulciano or even a red blend, but this Domaine Drouhin was outstanding, very smooth and drinkable. As I mentioned earlier, what really sets Harvester Kitchen apart is their team. Maggie and Ashley took care of us with warm, friendly professionalism and Alton the manager stopped by to chat, sincerely pleased with how much we all enjoyed the experience. We loved them all and can only hope to return next year.

Yelp
Would give it 6 stars if I could. Double the seating and triple the prices and its a right at home in the UES of Manhattan. Despite the exquisite cuisine, it is decidedly NOT pretentious and the ambiance is warm and welcoming. Special note to the service staff as they're clearly top notch, highly skilled, and highly trained. Outstanding.

Joe M.

Yelp
The food was great. Service was ok, Wish they had a bar. I felt the place was overpriced for what we got. Again food was great, but overpriced for me.

Trevor H.

Yelp
Great food, incredible service, worth the cost for a special dinner. It's great to see a restaurant of this quality in Sioux Falls

Sarah F.

Yelp
Amazing courses. Staff were very pleasant and knowledgeable. good price for what you experience!

Yelp
Outstanding food and service in a beautiful dining room. Service timing was excellent. Highly recommended!

Yelp
The Harvester never disappoints. The food and wine pairings compete well with some of the best restaurants in the world. And for Sioux Falls it is a blessing to have a restaurant of this caliber. By local standards it is a bit expensive but by the standards of this type of restaurant, it is completely in line. The staff is truly one of the best reasons to come here. Friendly, knowledgeable and very service oriented, they are truly exceptional. The setting is simple and comfortable . The ambiance is quiet enough to carry on a great conversation but has a vibe that feels energetic. The menu changes monthly. This particular evening the first course was a tiny caviar "ice cream cone". Truly one of the most amazing starts to a meal I have ever experienced. Mussels, dover sole, wagyu beef all followed. All great, but I can't wait until they bring that caviar back!

Yelp
This place is remarkable! Yes, it's a bit pricey, but entirely worth it. My husband had the tasting menu, and each course was innovative and absolutely delicious. I had the Gorgonzola ravioli: to die for. The service is impeccable! The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable, and everyone is well trained. This restaurant is a gem.
google avatar

Yelp
Impeccable service. My friend had the steakhouse tasting with a few substitutes. For the most part nothing impressive. I went a la carte as its restaurant week. For my entree I choose the chicken. I've had better meals on airplanes while flying coach!!! Absolutely insipid

Yelp
This ambitious new Sioux Falls restaurant was an absolute delight on our recent visit over Labor Day weekend. There is an obvious focus on customer service, though that is only the beginning, as each element of the dining experience brings out the best of the very well trained staff, of course starting with the kitchen. There is a beautifully designed interior space when the weather is too cold to sit on the lovely patio outside. I was especially impressed by each interaction with our servers; a pleasant surprise for me was reading through the thoughtful wine list, and then barely speaking the name of the producer (not mentioning the varietal) when our server immediately identified the wine, a sign of the kind of detail we experienced throughout the meal. Each course was well thought out, some better than others, though none that didn't have appeal and quality ingredients. Yes to the amazing mussels (!), the outstanding corn soup veloutte, the amazing onion soup toast (!) and to the ling cod (though needed a bit more seasoning in the sauce). A little less jam on the foie gras bites would be an improvement. Hats off to the owners and management for their ambition & commitment to promote fine dining in this beautiful city. We enjoyed our visit and highly recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
I travel to Sioux Falls once a year, and my favorite restaurant is the Harvester Kitchen. This year, I discovered the menu had changed to a fixed price structure with three options (vegetarian, seafood & meat). Each consisted of five courses with the choice to add on. I was initially hesitant, since I can be a little picky and like to have more control when ordering. But the food was amazing and I savored every bite. Every course was delicious. The service was excellent, and the ambience was relaxed and welcoming. Love this place- I'll be back next year!
google avatar

Yelp
Very unique dining experience in SiouxFalls. Plan on 2 1/2 hours for your meal. The service is above anything I've ever had.

James F.

Yelp
My wife and I could not pass up the opportunity to enjoy Chef Bryan's cuisine again after our excellent experience with many of his restaurants including the Oval Room, Potenza, Adega and others. Every course of the tasting menu was exquisite. I cannot decide which was my favorite, the Butter Poached Lobster, Japanese Wagyu, Foie Gras Tart or the Shades Of Chocolate. They were all spectacular. The staff were warm and welcoming. We look forward to returning to Sioux Falls again to visit Harvester Kitchen. Washington DC's loss is definitely Sioux Falls gain.
google avatar

Rob G.

Yelp
Very intimate setting for a very unique dining experience. Very comfortable environment with amazing food. I'm not usually one for fine dining (more of a casual guy), but this was probably my favorite fine dining experience. It was casual in all the right ways, but the food was next level. My wife did the five course meal, and each course was fun and delicious. I was able to sneak a bite of one of her courses (scallops), and I can honestly say it was the best bite of food I've ever had, no joke. It's pricey, but if you're gonna do a night out, this is the spot. Will definitely eat here next time I'm in Sioux Falls.
google avatar

Sol A.

Yelp
I was thoroughly underwhelmed. This could have been because I had high expectations based on what I'd heard. The service was excellent however and Bryan's wife was very cordial and polite. I was not impressed by the food. It was okay but not memorable. I dined with a friend and we both agreed we could have made ourselves better dishes. That is not a good feeling when one dines out at a restaurant of this caliber. I likely will make one more trip for the purposes of fairness. Ambiance 8/10 Service 8/10 Taste 5/10 Flavor 4/10 Noise level: quiet Recommendation factor: 7/10 Return factor: 8/10

Abby G.

Yelp
The Harvester Kitchen is a restaurant you must eat at. All the entrées we had this evening blew my mind. I will definitely be returning very soon. Words can describe the wonderful experience we had.
google avatar

Guy S.

Yelp
Dinner tonight was impeccable, from service to ambiance to food. There was excellent attention to detail in every respect. Particularly impressive is the wide array of vegetarian options, down to the awareness that gelatin may be problematic for some. Thank you for this wonderful experience--we wish we lived closer so we could come again soon!

Yelp
This is a bummer for me. I would say this is 3.5 stars but gave them the benefit of the doubt. While visiting Sioux Falls for the first time I was excited they had a restaurant with a tasting menu. We made reservations for a Saturday night. It's a lovely restaurant and we were greeted warmly. We had 2 adults and 2 kids 10 & 12 and they are used to fine dining all over the world so they are well behaved. Immediately our server was very curt and I would say unfriendly. It was off putting. My husband and I ordered the tasting menu and even added a course (cheese plate). She didn't ask if we wanted to do a wine pairing (we would've) it was too late once we noticed they had one. When they started bringing out the tasting after the 2nd course I noticed there was only one plate. Apparently they thought we wanted to share a tasting???? Nope we wanted our own but at that point we just left it but very odd they would make that assumption. We by no means intentionally ordered that way. There was little description of each course. Food was beautiful but under flavored and seasoned I thought. It was just ok. The service needs WORK!!' Maybe was just our server or they didn't like that we brought kids. Not sure but we felt uncomfortable and wanted to get it over with!

Yelp
Very nice meal. Wonderful service. Interesting building in a nice location. Varied menus.

Dempster C.

Yelp
Sioux Falls has a number of very good fine dining restaurants, but Harvester Kitchen is the best by far above all of them. Offering a superb 5 course dinner with wine paired with each course makes a dinner not just a tasting experience but shows what is possible when you focus on all the details of taste, appearance, service, and atmosphere. The wait staff is attentive and knowledgeable so that everybody will feel comfortable. I used to think that dining like this was only possible in the big cities. Glad to see Sioux Falls attracting talent to make a fabulous dining experience like this.

Dan W.

Yelp
This was an amazing experience. They made our celebration special. We highly recommend the tasting menus and wine pairings.

Keith T.

Yelp
Delicious meal this evening while back in South Dakota for the holidays. We had the tasting menu plus wine pairings. Everything was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. Beautiful presentation and exceptional service. The sommolier was a stand-out. We had our young daughter along and the staff was wonderful with her as well.

Christina S.

Yelp
Checked this place out for their soft opening and was very impressed. The atmosphere is great, the food was fantastic, and servers were helpful and friendly. They had a fun variety of nonalcoholic drinks, which were great and had interesting flavor combinations. It's the perfect spot for a special date night

Jason B.

Yelp
Very poor service. Cold steaks. Small portions(probably 3oz on steaks). Wine by the glass 2 1/2 -3 oz pours. May or may not get bread with meal. If sharing, they only give silverware to the individual eating. Plan to spend $100-200/ person of terrible food. What I find funny, wait staff wear gray t-shirts, when I waited table in a hig end restaurant in the 90's had to wear white shirt with a tie. Will never be going back. FYI, I about spit out My first bite, and it went down hill from there.
google avatar

Rj S.

Yelp
Amazing restaurant! The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Really great to see such refined cuisine in Sioux Falls. Can't wait to go back, which I am doing soon.

Signe B.

Yelp
WOW! One of the best meals I've ever had. Innovative, fun, delicious, and an EXPERIENCE. My husband and I were in Sioux Falls for the road trip part of our honeymoon. We went here for a celebratory honeymoon meal and were beyond impressed! The atmosphere, service, presentation, wine list, unique combination of ingredients (e.g. squid ink crostini topped with tuna tartare, edible flowers, creme fraiche, lemon, and seaweed oil) and of course ridiculously delicious food were all exceptional. The chef, waiters, and other staff were all very friendly and proud of the culinary experience Harvester Kitchen offers. Chef Bryan is a culinary genius and we can't wait to dine here again. If you're anywhere near Sioux Falls, eat here asap!

Matt C.

Yelp
Every aspect of our meal was excellent- food, service, and ambiance (although I would skip the fois gras bon bons.) Harvester would be an outstanding restaurant in any city.

Seri K.

Yelp
Out with long time friends, though we would try this new spot in town. All I can say is we were all blown away. Top notch service, top notch food. Second to none all the way around. Our server was able to describe every appetizer, every main course, every specialty drink. It was refreshing and we were blown away by the service by the staff. Food was second to none, waygu steak, branzino fish, octopus and scallops all to die for. The potatoes, were the sides but were all awesome.

Yelp
An absolutely incredible meal. The thoughtfulness and attention to detail was outstanding, as was the service. Everyone working there seemed genuinely excited to be a part of what Harvester Kitchen is doing. We ordered: chips and garlic dip, cheese plate, tortellini, gold tomato's, egg noodles, lamb, cauliflower, and a number of desserts -- all where phenomenal. Go here.
google avatar

Betsy W.

Yelp
Great new spot! Lovely, cozy space, attentive and knowledgeable service, innovative, interesting menu and wine list, and excellent food. Looking forward to coming back!

Ryan L.

Yelp
I really want to see this place do well, it is much needed in Sioux Falls! However, I have to say I expected more. Beautiful building and great ambiance. Service was excellent. Great variety of dishes on menu. Wine list was a little droll. I would like to see more unique/small production offerings. I had 5 different small plates. The food was all presented beautifully, the flavor just wasn't there. I hate to say it, but very flat taste and texture profiles. For $60+, not sure it was worth it. I hope they can improve on their flavors before my next visit.
google avatar

Lindsay K.

Yelp
I'm not one to write a review (ever), but in this case, I felt compelled. What an experience! Everything we ordered, from the onion toast and mussels to the entrees (beef and sole) was absolutely magnificent. The Potatoes Dauphine are a must-try! Bryan is a master saucier. Do yourself a favor & go!
google avatar

Chelsea B.

Yelp
Had a spectacular dimmer here while passing through Sioux Falls.I would be a regular here if local! My dad and I split the cheese plate; strip loin for him and chicken for me (both great but the chicken won out on originality); lemon tart for dessert. It was all beautifully prepared, presented, and served by a wonderful staff.
google avatar

Angie S.

Yelp
My husband and I stopped in here a few days ago while exploring Sioux Falls. Very glad we did! From the service (I believe his name was Bryan?) to the food, everything was top notch. The food was creative and delicious. One of the best meals we've had in a long time. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and we enjoyed conversing with him throughout the meal. Ten out of ten recommend!

Steve L.

Yelp
Best restaurant in Sioux Falls! I've been a few times in the last year and it's a complete experience. I appreciate the level of detail and process that goes into each plate.
google avatar

Bob D.

Yelp
Beautiful food that tastes wonderful! We were not expecting such a unique restaurant with classic French touches in Sioux Falls but this was a gem to find on our vacation. The waitress was very knowledgeable and was able to give us really good descriptions of the food - which was important because there were so many intriguing options to chose from. We started with the sherry glazed scallops and the gingered beet salad. Both were visually appealing and tasted great. For our entrees my wife had the trout and I had the roasted cauliflower. Both were delicious with interesting foams and sauces to taste. The warm, crunchy bread was also delicious. We were too full to try the interesting sounding desserts but finished with some port. Not sure of the pedigree of the building but it looked like an older building that has been restored but either way the decor was very appealing. You could go casual here or make it a nice date. If we were not just passing through town we would definitely go back.
google avatar

Jarrod 'Jay' M.

Yelp
Lovely meal. Great to see the old place completely renovated. Wonderful wine selection no doubt to their sommelier. I had the tenderloin, which was wonderful and my wife had the flounder, which was a little dry. Potatoes were delicious. I highly recommend the mini crab rolls, you won't be disappointed. We will be back.

Kim G.

Yelp
Inventive menu, beautifully executed, highly responsive staff, great ambiance. This place should be celebrated.
google avatar

Jason K.

Yelp
Dined here for the first time last night. I did not get any pictures this time around as we were just taking the place all in. (You will see what I mean the first time you visit.) We ordered the tasting menu with wine paring. Every dish was expertly designed, perfectly cooked, artfully plated and seamlessly timed. Nothing was rushed. The complexity and balance of the flavors in each dish were exquisite. The Sommelier visited with us at each course to explain her wine paring choices and give us a short history of the wine and she was absolutely delightful as a bonus! Our server was intimately familiar with the entire menu and perfectly navigated being omnipresent but not overbearing. The ambience of the dining room was nicely choreographed for the menu and complimented the superb dining experience perfectly. If you have never experienced a 5-star restaurant in New York City, now you don't need to fly there to get the food, service and experience.... you only need to get a reservation here. That is *no joke.* There is nothing else like it in Sioux Falls- what an absolute gem for this city!

Risotto J.

Yelp
Dear NYC visitor that found themselves in this part of the world: GO. You would be pleased if this was located in Soho; imaginative, whimsical, and very very tasty. Good service too, but frankly I'd rate it 5 stars even if the waitress screamed at me.
