Harvey Easton Cafe

Ordered the rose cardamom cold brew and the peppermint matcha and was very disappointed by both of them. I don’t think the peppermint + matcha is a good combo at all. The place and service were really nice tho. If I’m ever in the area again I’ll try the regular drinks but I don’t think specialty drinks are good at all :/ Edit: thank you for reading my review and kindly refunding the drinks! Decent place to get coffee. The milkshakes and matcha drink are pretty good. So many places to get coffee and drinks in area idk if I’d be back to this location. Check it out next time you’re in WeHo.

The coffee was quite good, although I wasn’t able to try the food. The atmosphere was pleasant, even though it was quite busy with people working. I would definitely go again, especially if I wanted a quieter environment.

A VERY underrated coffee shop/cafe in Los Angeles! With so many options in LA for cafes and coffee shops, it can be hard to find something that truly feels unique and stands out, which is what Harvey Easton Cafe does for me. The space is very distinct - it has high industrial styled ceilings, and yet still manages to feel very homey and cozy inside. There’s sofas and arm chairs spaced throughout, and even a little fireplace in a room at the back end of it! I also love the different flavored lattes here - I’ve tried the lavender and the honey lattes so far and greatly enjoyed both. The flavors are all subtle and soothing, with a sweetness that doesn’t overpower the drinks. The service is also very quick and they’re always friendly and helpful with any advice on different drinks or other options. I love coming here to do some work now - they have wifi that is always fast, even if it’s crowded. I’ve included them in reels on Instagram and videos about my favorite cozy coffee spots in LA because I think it’s a really distinct, unique, and underrated spot! I definitely recommend and look forward to going many more times!

Went here Saturday morning and the place was cute but my friends and I all felt like the female barista was racist and rude. I asked her for an iced latte and she snapped at me asking if I wanted my drink hot or cold?? And then my friend ordered after me saying she wanted her drink to-go as well but it came out in a glass cup. When she told the barista, the barista ignored her and aggressively poured it into a to-go cup lmao Thought maybe she was having a bad day but then she was super friendly to other customers. Never experienced anything like it.

The chagaccino was a big hit! I’ll definitely give it a 5/5. The avocado toast, on the other hand was very mediocre and overpriced. The toast was burnt and the avocados were poorly thrown all over the toast. Definitely not worth it! Apart from that, the cafe had a great vibe and I loved the ambiance! The servers were pretty friendly too.

Great vibe! The hot chocolate was just perfect! I had also a marble cake delicious almost home made taster! The ambiance you feel a time freeze somewhere in the 60’ you can enjoy a poème in the library or just the vibe while working

Perfect setting to grab a cup of coffee or a latte. Harvey Easton Cafe has the kind of vibes you want in a coffee shop unlike so many cafes here that look so sterile and uncomfortable they make you feel like you're getting fro yo. I just wished I liked their coffee. It was my first time there so I'm not sure if the machine was calibrated wrong or if their coffee is just super harsh and bitter. I'll give it another go in hopes it was just a one off.

Absolutely adorable little coffee shop! Came here to do a little bit of wfh, wifi was great but my only complaint was the lack of seating. The whole place was full pretty much the whole time I was here, so I'd recommend getting here early if you're looking to snag a table. Got a drip coffee which tasted great!

I would give this a 3.5 - Four for ambiance, three for drink quality! The lattes are good here but the specialty tea drinks are not great - they taste like cereal milk. Pastries look good! And the seating area, though small, is cute and a good place to meet up with one person (no space for groups bigger than 3). I have more drinks to try but so far, drink quality wise, it's not my favorite. I'll def be back as I'm in the area a lot!

Got their seasonal matcha drink and I do not think it was ceremonial matcha powder as advertised. Super powdery when I drank it and reminded me of latte mix instead of ceremonial. I only drank half. My friend got their macchiato and said it was ok (5/10) Overall was unimpressed with their drinks.

The cafe has a really nice atmosphere, and would be good for getting some work done if you can grab a seat. The service has always been pretty good, but the coffee doesn't wow me. It's good, but I like to come here for the space more than anything else.

Met here with a friend to catch up. Very limited parking and the parking I did find on the street made me nervous that my car was going to get hit. The inside is very cute! Love the cozy, vintage feel and comfy chairs. If you like the non-traditional drink specialties, you will enjoy this spot. I got a lavender tea and with each sip I had to spit out lavender petals. I wish it could have been infused or something because that made it less enjoyable. This is a very popular spot for meet ups and working so be aware that it is not a quiet place which didn't bother me at all. I enjoyed my time here but would not go out of my way to come back Overall, 3.5/5 stars.

Totally cute place. I have no clue about the pricing. I got a cappuccino and it was 5.48 with tax and tip? It was TINY. I really did love the decor and the coffee was very decent. Counter service was good, although no on me was in there. So I'm not sure how it would be when they are busy. They do have an Affogato, and fluffy eggs, avocado toast, and fluffy eggs on toast so I think I'll be back to try that situation.

Latte was smooth and fresh. The space was small, but very cute and felt like everyone was friendly. Employees were very nice.

Such a beautiful coffee shop. Sweet staff that are helpful and patient. Such a lovely ambiance to study with very comfortable seats. Some outlets available too. Coffee was worth every dollar ($8, but I tipped and asked for almond milk). Can't wait to check this place out again :)

I really like the environment which is very inviting. Coffee is just as good if not better than Blue Bottle. I took advantage of their happy hour from 5-7 Monday to Friday. The wine was excellent with strong floral note. Will definitely again!

Just steps away from the shopping at The Grove, you'll be drawn into this trendy café, where stylish LA locals are engrossed in their work, plugged in, and sipping on their coffees. There are a few outlets available and usually a couple of seats open at any given time. If you don't mind waiting for a good spot and dealing with street metered parking, it's definitely worth it.

Oh my goodness what a gem. Easy to park, around the corner and easy to find. This is a really special place for those who like something unique with good coffee And yes they have Wi-Fi. There are many rooms to venture into if you just wanna sit and talk or if you want to focus on work. Really nice ambience with the café type of warm coloring. Definitely an eclectic LA feel. The coffee is a pretty strong. Got the humble Americano black and raw and it served well. The pastries can be warmed up but unfortunately they just have a microwave instead of a toaster, so honestly, not as spectacular as it could be. All items reasonably priced. very unique coffee shop in melrose area! parking isn't too bad and there's a good amount of outlets so great place to get some work done. there was a good amount of seating but they're usually filled because this place is pretty popular.

I sat down after ordering a drink and a food. There were dirty plates and a few dirty spots on the table from previous customers. The server brought my order, I asked him to wipe the table please, and he seemed like he forgot. I waited about 5 mins and went to the kitchen and asked again. I even said I'll do it myself if they're busy if they give me something to wipe the table with so I can start eating my food. The guy seemed busy but the other 2 girls were just standing and chatting and being on their phone. This chubby latina girl came with an attitude, literally said "oh my god" like the table was clean, and after wiping it off once, asked me "is this clean enough for you" and then went back to the kitchen and just started laughing with the other girl. Isn't it a common sense to wipe the table before you serve food? I don't think I was being rude or asked for too much. It was a cute cafe but I lost my appetite after.

Coffee is not the greatest. It's pretty mediocre. And their cups are terrible!! Would not come back to this place.

Wonderful spot to grab a coffee and hang around! I came by and tried one of their seasonal specials. I can't remember exactly what it was but it was some early gray lavender vanilla situation with almond milk. Tasted like a light melted ice cream, and it was a great little treat. I brought my journal and sat in the coffee shop for close to two hours. The baristas were all very friendly and there was a variety of seating, though there was not much turnover while I was there so the options were limited. The wifi was reliable though I didn't use it much. Someone sitting nearby was on several video calls and didn't seem to have any issues. That being said, it's not a silent cafe! But the vibes were great if you enjoy existing in that sort of energy.

This is a very good looking cafe. Aesthetics are vintage and warm. The lighting is very inviting. I found the spinach croissant to be delicious! The hojicha tea was very good. However the cappuccino was a 3/10. Too hot and not well frothed. Flavor is ok.

My favorite Coffee shop in LA. Staff members are extremely friendly, and easy to talk too. Cafe has a cozy atmosphere, which makes it conducive to getting work done. I highly recommend this spot.

This coffee shop is located across from Swingers Diner. They didn't seem to have much food selection but they did have ok coffee. Service was good-they bring it to where you are sitting too. For the price it could have been better. I had to leave because I was sitting indoors and bitten by mosquitoes!

Was lucky enough to stumble upon this gem, where I received fanatic service from Mike, who made me one of the best coffees I've had in a long time. And I like to think I am a coffee connoisseur! Ate a delicious cinnamon roll as well. Love this place would definitely come back!

The berry smoothie was really good, it just got caught in my teeth a lot. I wish they let customers up to the second floor, that is the main attraction!! Lovely ambiance.

When you first walk in you get a very cozy feeling, the workers there are so sweet and kind and very welcoming. This is the first time I've ever been to this coffee shop and I will definitely be coming back. I ordered a iced vanilla latte with oat milk And it was delicious. I took my coffee to go, but next time I'll give myself some time to relax at this little coffee shop while listening to some classic jazz music.

First time trying this place and boy was I disappointed. The workers were extremely rude and dry with really nasty attitude like WTH? Why? What is the reason for such rude service??? The girl made my drink wrong, made the drink with some spicy syrup and when I told her she just said I'll change it and took my drink, did not even apologize or seem bothered at all. Then I ordered 2 toasts and waiting for over 25 minutes wondering why it was taking so long to lake, when I approached the register she told me they are making it now! Like after waiting 25 minutes you are barely making it now?? I asked why it's taking so long again with nasty attitude she said that's how long it takes, like who says that??? That is no way to service customers. The whole experience was horrible. The place was dirty and tables were dusty and food left behind. Gross place

Came here on a Sunday morning to study. Very cute and cozy inside! They have a couple of outlets too which my geriatric laptop was thankful for. We got the rose london fog and the lavender lemonade. I'm very easily swayed by floral flavors, they were yummy! Not too overpowering. Overall a great study session!

Gate-keeping this place for as long as I possibly can! Harvey's has a great ambiance, comfy vibes, and warm atmosphere. I love that I can get a latte and a local beer at the same place! Perfect place to get some work done and catch up with friends too

I had a really delicious vegan blueberry banana protein smoothie and it was perfect! The service was amazing and I felt so comfortable and relaxed there for the entire afternoon. I had a great time and I am looking forward to visiting again soon.

Amazing. If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. I came in here today to study for my finals, and it is, without a doubt, the best spot. First of all, the employees are really nice and make great coffee & food. The lavender honey flavored latte was tasty with nice latte art (also good pricing) and served at a perfect temperature. It's very clean (including the bathroom) and I absolutely love the furnishing of the place--the various types of seating (bar stools, couches, tables), the green theme, the plants, and the lights. I also really appreciated the music played (which is at a good volume: not loud); I'm a fan of the 80s and 90s. Additionally, the WiFi is fast and there are also outlets for charging. This cafe is truly spectacular.

This dude gave me an avacado toast where the toast was toasted hard as a brick and let my utensils touch the table when handing me it. Service is a bit slow too but the ambiance was a vibe.

Wow, I'm sad I hadn't tried this place sooner! I got a lavender iced chai with oat milk and it was delicious. The staff was so friendly and kind, and the service was very quick! I just stopped in on my way to work, but they have such a cute space with cozy seating, so I'll definitely come back to sit and work at some point. Their prices were also lower than I would expect for the location, which is a bonus! Can't wait to come back.

Underrated little local spot. The coffee is always good, the staff is always chill, the place itself has a great atmosphere with cute seating & decor, WiFi, and good music. I've tried two of the toasts & they're both delicious (the avocado toast is a bit overpriced for what comes on it-- but inflation is real too so I'll just make mine at home from now on and stop complaining about it ) I unfortunately share a similar work schedule to when they're open or I'd be there more often!

Loved Harvey Easton Cafe! I stayed here for a few hours to get some work done and appreciated/enjoyed the atmosphere and space as well as my very smooth cold brew. I was running late for an appointment so I came in quite quickly, ordered and raced to the restroom prior to my interview and the woman helping at the counter was super helpful and friendly while I was somewhat of a mess. I appreciated that! The space itself is truly classy. From the leather chairs, mid-century furniture and beautiful green painted walls and doors - you really feel like you are in a classy establishment. There's even a chessboard if you want to drink some coffee (or try one of their yummy looking toasts) and hang out. Would love to return for a more casual (non-working) visit.

Get the person behind the counter some glasses, ASAP. They called me sir, while I'm wearing a dress and look this beautiful. Something must be wrong with their vision, if that's not the case then their just an asshole! They also had a very bad attitude and from their tone of voice and facial expressions, they were putting out very negative vibes. I'd not want to drink coffee made by such a grumpy person. Bad vibes all around, this place is uncomfortable. Would not recommend.

I came here this week looking for a quiet place to get some work done. This place is great. It's pretty inside with different seating options, including tables, larger chairs, and a little counter. Large windows let in a lot of light. Food menu is minimal, but it's a coffee shop, not a cafe, and the options are nice. I had an earl grey tea with steamed milk, banana nut bread, and an egg salad toast. All were delicious. Free Wi-Fi. Nice staff. This place is very chill.

The coffee is excellent, the baristas are friendly and create a welcoming relaxing atmosphere, and the furniture and rooms, especially the one with the fireplace at the back, allow you to choose the space you want. There's outside seating as well. The baristas make excellent espressos, too. Harvey's serves wine and beer and has a happy hour. The clientele is friendly as well. This is a place for excellent coffee in a great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Wow! What an amazing cafe! It is fun, friendly and upbeat! They have very comfortable seating and enjoyed it the vibe. Also, they have amazing wine by the glass - Sea Smoke - which is so rare. A great place to perk up or wines down. The owners are super nice and wine lovers - so it is a great locals place!

Cute coffee shop with a single folding wooden chess board with all pieces intact. Visitors are encouraged to use it while in the cafe. It is usually stored in the back sitting room on a cabinet between two chairs. (Bonus chessboard table in the bathroom; no pieces provided.)

Harvey's is one of the coziest places to hang out, grab coffee, and get major work done if you can work from your laptop! They have awesome books and couches and free wifi! There's also a nice place in the back and the baristas are so kind!

This is a great little coffee shop I recently began frequenting. Comfortable, friendly, and delicious. GREAT smoothies and top-notch pastries make for a perfect place to hang out, work, relax, etc. They are even dog-friendly. Recommend!
