Lyle’s New Chef Brings Some Funky Dishes to His Old Kitchen | Eater DC

"Facing a lawsuit filed October 15, this Dupont Market butcher shop — in operation since 1931 — is accused by Animal Outlook and Legal Impact for Chickens of misleading marketing after advertising foie gras as “humanely raised stock,” “all-natural,” and “free range”; the complaint alleges foie gras actually comes from ducks that are force fed and kept indoors and says consumer-protection laws are being used to push Harvey’s to remove those signs." - Emily Venezky

I only shop there, when I don't want to go into town, for a produce item. Today I wanted celery, when I got home, started pulling it apart, this is what I got - garbage! I would love to shop there more often, but this happens often.

What a great little roadside market. We stopped in while on our way to visit Mohican State Park. They have various locations including the one we stopped at on State Route 39 just West of Millersburg, Ohio. The market offers a great selection of fresh produce including fruits vegetables and flowers as well. They also have a stocked fishing pond.

Customer service is excellent. Area was clean and well kept. Produce was the best I have seen in a farmer's market. Place was fully decorated for fall and the displays of pumpkins and mums were gorgeous. I found everything I went for and even extras. Prices were very reasonable. This is why I return to Harvey's Market each season.

Harvey's always has such a nice selection at good prices! I bought my flat of strawberries earlier today for Jam plus 2 extra quarts, 2 beautiful tomatoes, and some asparagus that was just the right size for my grandma and I to have for dinner one evening. Everything looked perfect and tasted great. Very thankful to have Harvey and his crew in our area. A must-visit for locals and visitors alike!
