Hash Hut - Review - Covent Garden - London - The Infatuation

"There’s something about grated, deep-fried spuds that gets us excited. And the ones at Hash Hut, a stall in Seven Dials Market food court, are fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Our favourite shape is the round bites because they lean more crisp, while the regular triangle can be a little messy and fall apart in the middle. When it comes to choosing one of six sauces and toppings, our favourite combination is the golden bites with spicy mayo and fried onions, closely followed by the truffle mayo with a mountain of parmesan cheese. It’s the kind of street food snack that’s perfect for sharing with a friend when you’re aimlessly wandering around Covent Garden. Just know that it can get a little bit sickly if you’re eating it alone." - Rianne Shlebak

The mac and cheese they’re serving is actually mind blowing. I didn’t think I could enjoy something so simple, so much. The cheese wasn’t overly rich, and the ratio of noodle to cheese was just right. Adding crispy onions and spring onions on top just brought the whole experience home. So good!

Stumbled across Hash Hut in Seven Dials Market when doing the Christmas lights walk and it didn’t disappoint. We went for the Hash Hut Famous Mac & Cheese and it was delicious! It initially seemed quite expensive for £12.50 for 4 hash brown triangles but looks can be deceiving- it was very filling! Hash brows were lovely and crispy and the toppings were very generous.

So glad we hunted this place down whilst visiting London. Great fresh produce, great value and lovely service. Choose from a stick, triangles or hash bites, with a choice of toppings and garnish. We had the Spicey and the buffalo. Delicious!!

This little gem is located in Neal’s Yard food hall. My husband is a hash connoisseur. We walked around the food hall and this was calling him. He was so excited so ordered one and we shared. There are so many topping options (but out of the jalapeños ketchup). This loaded hash was absolutely delicious and I highly recommend this one for a snack or a meal. Enjoy and please share your experience with me.

I love a good loaded hash brown. Unfortunately on my visit they didn't have all the toppings on the menu on offer so I couldn't get what I wanted. Otherwise it was tasty. I would try it again

Don’t be fooled by the simplicity of hash browns! These tasted amazing. I ordered the hash browns with mac and cheese and I was not disappointed. One of the best stalls at the market for sure. The only thing I would say is if you go on a busy day prepare to wait, however that’s more to do with the market then the stall it self. Would definitely recommend and will be going again!!!

Delicious hash browns with a good selection of toppings. I had the hash triangles with bbq miso sauce, jalapeños and frazzles and I can confirm this was an excellent combination! As a side note, the pac man machine was a big hit with my son!

Loaded hash browns sounds so simple on paper but is AMAZING in reality 🤩🤩 The food service was friendly and fast, and the food itself was freshly made in front of us, hot and ready to go. The hash browns were perfectly crisps but soft, fluffy and hot in the centre, with a gorgeous mac and cheese topping that was rich with flavour. Parmesan was generously provided 😋😋 and crispy onions to add an extra kick of flavour. I got the mac and cheese special which was divine, and for £12.50 (with standard hashbrown meals ranging at £10), it is incredibly decent pricing for such delicious and satisfying portions. DO NOT MISS IT!
