Google
Middle Eastern Coffee- I recently had the pleasure of visiting Hashems Roastery Market, and I must say, it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The customer service was truly outstanding. The staff went above and beyond, not just with their friendly demeanor, but also with their exceptional knowledge. I especially appreciated their guidance when it came to selecting coffee beans. They took the time to understand the flavors I was looking for, particularly with spices, and explained very well why some of the more expensive beans wouldn't be ideal, saving me money and ensuring I got exactly what I wanted. Their honesty and expertise were incredibly refreshing. Another major plus is the ability to have coffee beans ground and customized to your liking right there in the store. This personalized touch is fantastic for any coffee enthusiast. And to top it all off, the prices are very good, offering excellent value for the quality you receive.I highly recommend Hashems Roastery Market. It's rare to find such a perfect combination of knowledgeable staff, great prices, and customizable options. I will definitely be back for all my coffee needs!

Had a lot of fun exploring this store yesterday with my boyfriend who has been shopping here for a long time. The young man working yesterday was adorable & a huge help. The young ladies working there were very nice as well 😀 Such a cute store, looking forward to trying the different coffees I bought🥰

After working in Dearborn for the past 20 years, I just found this gem of a place when my wife had a craving for some dried apricots. Fantastic selection of dried fruits, nuts, and other delicacies, honestly the best dried apricots I've ever had. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I'll be a regular customer from now on. Highly recommended!!!

Google
Amazing store, ladies working there were so nice. Got the Turkish delights, they were incredible. Can’t believe I’ve never tried them before, my mind was blown.

Been coming to Hashems for 10 years Their spice selection is a dream for home cooks and chefs alike. Everything is fresh, vibrant, and sourced from high-quality growers. From warm cinnamon and cardamom to rare blends like za’atar and ras el hanout, these spices elevate every dish. You can truly taste the difference compared to supermarket spices.

Google
This place is wonderful! The staff is accommodating and has good knowledge of the product. We do not live in the area, but every time we visit, we make sure to stop by and get some coffee beans and snacks. It is worth your time and money to stop by. ☕

Google
Hashem's is a real delight. As an intense coffee gal, I was recommended to check this place out and I was not let down! They have very hospitable and kind staff, a variety of your favorite traditional Eid sweets and snacks, an assortment of bukhour, many types of coffee beans both grinded and as beans, spices on spices, and more! They also offer reasonable prices for great quality items and coffee! I will definitely come back and indulge in aaaall the different types of coffee and will recommend this spot to anyone ☕👍🏼

Google
This store is clean and organised with a good selection of all kinds of nuts, seeds, and other treats like malban and turkish delights. It is a little on the pricey side compared to Dearborn Roastery which is just down the street.

Yelp
This cozy place is the BEST grown up snack shop ever. And ohhhh my, the selection of Turkish delights ...just a yum fest.

Yelp
I come here every time I'm in Michigan. The selection is awesome the " Turkish " or as I call it Arabic coffee is grounded right there in front of you, the clerks are great and know their business, so if your near make sure you drop by to get your NUTS LOL

Yelp
Upon entering, I was greeted with warm smiles and the most wonderful aromas from coffee and spices. This is the most aromatic and delicious coffee! Cody helped me figure out some combinations to try. I bought a few bags of coffee and immediately had to have some as soon as I arrived home. I have a blend of 50% hazelnut and 50% chocolate and it's heavenly--it's my favorite coffee of all time! I also have a bag of half coconut and half caramel and wow! As you can tell, I like some sweetness and these blends were just my style. My mom is a serious coffee drinker and they recommended 80% French roast and 20% super dark roast. My mom loved it!!! They definitely have something for everyone and can match you with your perfect coffee blend. I bought several treats with nuts in it, like pistachios, and some chocolates too. Everything was delicious! There are opportunities to sample things throughout the store too. There are so many treats and products to choose from, and it's organized beautifully. Excellent service from Adam and Cody. It was a great experience and I will definitely return.

Yelp
I love Dearborn, first and foremost, and this place is a true gem of it. Visiting from out of town, the employees on duty were so excited to let us try things and to teach us about some of the products we were unfamiliar with. They took such pride in their work and I was happy to see them putting such great effort forward. Product wise, this shop also offers such a great glimpse into some treats and goods of the Middle East. Such a fun place to shop, with so many options to broaden your pallete.

Yelp
Bought ground sirloin and it had so much fat in it that I had to drain after cooking. Cashier was friendly but gave me a dollar bill that he had to get rid of. Very insulting and he knows what I'm talking about. Had he counted my change back to me I'd have noticed it before leaving the store.

Yelp
I received a box of assorted candies as part of my Yelp Elite status. A true foodie and I also love middle eastern culture, this was an amazing opportunity. The box arrived on time and I reviewed the tasting video after the event because it's finals week. The items are all amazing. I enjoyed the piece with the cinnamon and walnut mixture. The Jordan Almonds we're great and my husband adored the chocolate candied orange slice. Thank you for all that you do to bring these amazing flavors to the Midwest!

Yelp
Hashem's is truly a treasure and I hope more people will discover it. Service is always friendly and exceptional. They always offer samples, and are smart to do so because you WILL be back for more. If you love gourmet chocolate, you absolutely must try their imported chocolates. They're right up there with the best gourmet chocolates - forget Godiva, go for Hashem's. They're cheaper and more delicious. You know how when you receive a box of chocolates and you start eating them but you really only like a couple flavors in the box? Not so with Hashem's. I've tried a dozen or so different ones so far and have loved almost all of them - and I am fairly picky about chocolate - no novelty chocolate for me. My absolute favorite are the pistachio cream squares with the gold wrapper. If you're looking for a great gift, buy a pretty box somewhere, then fill it with an assortment of these wonderful chocolates. They're $19.99/lb but seem to average out to about a dollar each (some less, some more) in my experience. Well worth it and a bargain compared to the $3-4/chocolate that gourmet chocolate makers charge. A couple visits ago, I received samples of both the mulberry Turkish delight and rose halawa. I don't normally care for Turkish delight much, but that one was flavorful and delicious. The halawa is a sweet with an interesting flaky texture that melts in your mouth. It was so interesting (in a very good way!) that I had to go back for more and try other flavors (pistachio and chocolate) - all were great but I think I liked the rose best so far (and I don't normally like rose flavor!). Next, I think I'll try coffee. The nuts are great too. I've tried a couple of the pistachio varieties. All in all, Hashem's is a very unique little store and a true treasure of the community.

Yelp
What a hidden gem! I was a kid in a candy store at this place. When visiting Michigan, the middle eastern coffee is a must and I won't get it from anywhere, but here. The quality of hashems Arabic coffee is unbeatable. I am a coffee snob and this place has the real deal. Huge shoutout to Jamal for giving me his recommendations on what blends to get. I've tried all of his recommendations and they've all been amazing. Not only do they sell coffee here, but tea blends, any kind of oil you could possible think of, specialty candy and even tea kettles. If you wanna impress your middle eastern in laws, buy something from here!

Yelp
I went because I saw this listed on the Yelp Elite site. I didn't make it on the day of the event, but I am so glad I found this place. I drove 30 minutes but it was worth the drive. First it was the cleanest bulk store I've EVER seen! The assortment of 10'a of flavored nuts, cashews, pistachios, almonds were fantastic. Who has so many flavors of nits. Salt, barbecue, saffron, spicy, so many I can't remember. Look at my pictures and see the labels. The candy, OMG, my friend said it was the perfect place for different color wrapping of candy, dates with nuts, etc. The place smelled like coffee, and candy which is a winner for most people. The people who worked there were incredibly helpful and warm. I love it! Go for a new place to buy coffee! I got some coconut and Carmel coffee, mixed. But they have Michigan Cherry and lots of Turkish coffee, they mix on site. They are Coffee Consultant. Go for a new place to buy nuts. The candy, you and your kids will love. What a hidden gem! Love it and I will be back.

Yelp
You have to try this place!!! I got the box of traditional Lebanese treats and the flavors were insane! I'm not used to eating treats and foods with bases of nuts and other unique flavors like these, but I'm ready to try so many more now. I love learning about the culture associated with these treats and the family who provide them to the community. Such genuine and sweet people (and sweet food too!). I will 100% make a stop in here on my next Michigan trip.

Yelp
We picked up yelp snack box from here. We bought some tea but didn't get our 15% discount as described in yelp's email. This happens but service we got was horrible. People who worked in here seemed hostile. Barely greeted us or offered to help. However, They greeted another yelper that came in after us and cheerfully offered to help. Interesting, huh. I don't think I'll return here again. 1- it's about 30 mins drive for me 2- I noticed their service inconsistencies in a split min.

Yelp
Hey guys you got to try Hashems mixed nuts. I have been shopping around for good roastery nuts without avail. The manager at Hashems roastery was awesome he assured me good and fresh product. I couldn't believe that the taste will be incredible with the reasonable price. The Hashems mixed nuts reminded me of my home town.

Yelp
Since I was down the street at Hashem's Market, I figured I would swing by here to check out their coffee selection. Like the market, the place is small, but the selection is great. I like this coffee place because for a few different reasons. For starters, the customer service here is amazing. It was just this one guy working with a helper dude doing stock. After wandering around the store for a minute, I talked to the guy about his coffee selection. He said that they are known for their Turkish coffee, which I like but don't drink often. The service guy, who must be the owner, was extremely friendly, nice and welcoming. If I hadn't talked to him, I probably would have left, not purchased anything and given a mediocre review. We talked about Turkish coffee, how it's made, and where he gets it from. He also showed me the utensils used to make the coffee, which were relatively inexpensive. Speaking of the coffee utensils, he had a cute variety of turkish coffee makers to choose from. The copper pot was like $15, but I opted for the aluminum one for $5. I also got a half pound of the specialty Turkish coffee that he combined for me with Cardamom. My total bill? $11. What? Yes, $11. Try walking out of Starbucks for that! NOT! I also noticed that they have a location in Lebanon, and that's where it all started in 1959. Fortunately, I can also order this product again online, so I don't have to drive to Dearborn to get more coffee. They also have a great selection of nuts, specialty food along with some really tasty treats. Even though this place isn't huge, may I recommend coming here if you like coffee. Lots of foot traffic, but the parking here is awful. That's my only complaint. There's like 2 spaces out front or sidestreet parking, and it's a tight squeeze all the way around. I love you Hashem's, and you are the best. I will gladly buy from here again.

Yelp
Awesome products. Very friendly and delicious foods and treats! I advise it to anyone

Rudy H.

Yelp
Great family run business. I always stop here to bring some goods back home to Chicago. Everything from the coffee, to the nuts, to the Turkish delight is top quality. I love this place.
google avatar

Yelp
Very friendly and knowledgeable about spices, coffees, and nuts...along with sweets. Coffee is roasted by them and can me customized to your tastes. Spices are fresh and very pungent, great for any special recipes. Everything is very fresh and comes directly from growers. The smell alone when grinding the coffee bean gives a coffee lover, like me, a high. I have to say I'm a big fan of the Iranian pistachios, cubed Coconut and the middle eastern sweets. Truly a hidden gem of the city! Highly recommend a visit!

Yelp
I'll start with their great Arabic coffee they're the ones to go to.I been there a million times already, nice family owned customer service. Gotta check it out

Yelp
Amazing customer service, lots of varieties of nuts, spices and Arabic signature food... I live in Baltimore and it's my new favorite Arabic spices, nuts and groceries .. we definitely be back every time we come to Dearborn

Peter G.

Yelp
The Lebanese way of preparing nuts gives a unique flavor that is absolutely the best. Hashems has those nuts - very VERY hard to find in USA - I am SO happy to have found them here. Just placed my second order !!
google avatar

Yelp
I've visited some coffee shops & this has by far has been the best. I visited on a quest for espresso. As a novice espresso brewer (even though I drink ALOT of espresso) I needed help. I walked in and was lost in the wall of coffee beans that hits you at the front door. As I gazed at the massive amount of fresh coffee beans a person who worked there interjected. He explained the difference in grounds, what espresso really was, and how to get a good cup of espresso. I walked out with a big bag of espresso, a new found knowledge of espresso, cool ranch flavored corn nuts (SO GOOD), and tips for my new Mr. Coffee machine. I must say that my espresso brewing anxiety was lowered after my visit to Hashems Nuts & Coffee! I went home & made a bomb double shot of espresso with just the right crema. Take that big chain coffee chains!

Yelp
What a wonderful find! What nice, thoughtful people! I placed an order online, and accidentally gave my old address as the shipping address. Of course, the order was sent to an empty house. When I realized my mistake, I emailed Hashems, and they replaced the perishables without my asking them to, and they shipped the package to me again at no charge. I have ordered from them 3 times thus far and am getting ready to place another order, but every box from them is filled with fresh, high quality food items. They even carry the mountain bread I enjoyed so much when I was a child growing up in the mountains of Lebanon. I only wish they carried labneh, but maybe someday?

Neha B.

Yelp
Stopped by this shop for the first time last month. Was very impressed with the amount of products they had and how clean the store was. The store employee was extremely helpful. They have a wide array of nuts, teas, sweets, dried fruit and coffees. My sisters and I really enjoyed trying some new teas, coffees and trail mixes. Definitely visiting again when I'm in Dearborn.

Kallie B.

Yelp
Only after I completed my online order was I informed of the shipping charge, which is more than the coffee that I purchased. It didn't give me an option to cancel. So I just spent 13.00 on coffee and 16.00 on shipping

Patrick S.

Yelp
I received my order on Monday, May 11th, Thank You. Your prompt service is greatly appreciated. I hope we can do business again soon. Patrick Shevlin qpatrick@ptd.net

Yelp
Amazing nuts!!! Whenever I'm craving some nice variety of nuts I come over here. They have everything you need and more. My wife says I eat so many nuts from here I'm turning into one!! I'm nuts for these nuts .

Yelp
5 star experience. Owner, Sam, rolled out the red carpet for me. Encouraged me to sample many different flavors. He is very knowledgeable and inviting. This shop has hundreds of exotic spices, teas and coffees. This is a must stop in if around the area. My hats off to the owner.

Linda K.

Yelp
I ordered a lot of this food online since I've been staying home during the shutdown. I am so very very disappointed. The Baklava was so stale I threw most of it away worst boss of I've ever had the pita bread seems like it might have been good if it didn't have green mold spots on it the I also ordered some h a h e s h space halawa. This was made March 15th 2019 for the date stamp on the package since I ordered it in May of 2020 they mailed it out to me when it was over a year old I sure could tell because it was very greasy an old tasting stale. Such a waste of money ordering all of this food and since I'm in California it's not like I can go around the corner and take it back lesson learned I won't be ordering any food from this company again everything was old stale and tasteless

Victoria K.

Yelp
Good customer serVice and good quality nuts. Everything they have is made fresh and with love

Yelp
90 reviews. I'm starting to channel Janelle W. While on my epic bike ride of more than 6 miles, I spotted a sign that said cheese and spinach pies for sale. Unfortunatly, they were closed. Oh well. Happily, Hashem's was open. I walked in and declared OH MY GOD, I've died and went to Heaven. I was amazed at the aroma of coffee and spices, and other things for sale. Rice and schwarma seasoning, and so many other items, I nearly passed out from the dizzying array of goodies on display. I began to feel bad that I didnt bring much money because I wanted everything.....to go. Then I encountered Sam, the owner. He was genuinely glad to see me and even deposited a small assortment of tasty nuts into my hand. We talked about rice and his scales and how long his family has been in the business. This man was so nice it was like Dale Carnegie himself had come back to life and was running this place. He showed me a rare spice called Mastic, which grows only on a Greek Island and costs a whopping 175 dollars a pound. He told me it was used for everything, and during my brief visit, I knew more than I ever did about spices, and coffee. He even told me about schwarma, and the difference between that and gyros. I left with a feeling that this man was not interested in just making money but in making friends. I am fortunate to live a short bike ride away because I will be a regular. His prices for rice and semolina are bargains, and I will be buying many pounds because I do like making my own pastas. I will remember this place always, because of Sam, and because the shop happens to be on Warren and a street with my last name on it. How cool is that?
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious and inexpensive roasted nuts. I stopped in to get a blend of unsalted nuts, and left with a custom blend that is delicious. In addition, I also left with some of the most delicious turkish style pistachios I have ever tasted. I will be back to buy some of their coffee soon. The owner was very helpful and friendly. Give this place a try if you like nuts!
google avatar

Stephen B.

Yelp
It's rare to find a store owner who comes across as genuinely excited about what s/he's doing. The brilliant thing about Hashems is that the owner, Sam, very obviously is interested in and cares about the product he sells. Hashems has what counts: Good coffee? Check! Good roasted nuts? Check! Proprietary secret Turkish coffee blend that has been passed through the family for generations? Check! As a bit of a coffee snob, I get pretty picky when I'm talking coffee in a place that sells it. Not so in Hashems. This place is great. They know what they're doing, and they do it very well. They have a good selection of coffee and, as a hobby coffee roaster, I was happy to see they also had raw columbian coffee for somewhere around 5 bucks a pound, which will save me from buying it for 5 bucks a pound plus shipping from some other place. In addition to selling coffee, they sell roasted nuts that are reasonably priced and also very good (I got some almonds). And I didn't check out the rest of the store, but it looked like they had general grocery items as well. It almost doesn't matter. I went there for the coffee. The telling part of my visit, though, was when Sam said, "if you like what you got, you HAVE to come back and try our Turkish Coffee. That's our bread and butter." I've not had Turkish Coffee before, but I'm intrigued, for sure. Since I'm writing this review while drinking my first cup from the beans I bought yesterday, I think I will be going here often. The bottom line is if you like coffee, you need to at the very least try Hashems. My bet is that once you'll go, you'll want to go back, and you'll want to send your friends there.

Shareen T.

Yelp
This was my first time at Hashems and it definitely won't be my last. They had amazing service especially "Hadi" he literally walked me through the whole store helping me with everything I needed. The cashier was also very kind and polite gentleman. I bought spices and dried fruit which was fresh and taste amazing. They also give a free sample of herbal tea.
google avatar

May R.

Yelp
I'm always on the hunt for Turkish coffee. This Treasure chest spot on warren ave isn't just famous for their delicious Turkish coffee but indeed famous for spices, an extremely large variety of dried fruit, Turkish delights and of course lots more imported goods. I am always treated with the best customer service; Hadi you're the best!!! When I can't make a trip out to Dearborn...I can shop online and get my fix straight to my home in Chicago.
google avatar

Kelly S.

Yelp
The staff is so attentive and helpful. We were given samples to try things we weren't familiar with and suggestions of things to take home to try. Their pistachios are awesome as was everything else. I'm not a coffee drinker but my husband enjoyed his Turkish blend. I just have one regret, that it took me so long to make it out here.
google avatar

Kristin L.

Yelp
I love Hashems. Anytime I want to get a Coffee Lover some of the best I go there. The owner is super friendly and is willing to help you find the perfect blend. I was debating whether to get some of the flavored coffees and he gave me some samples to take home! I first came across Hashems during a book event at the Arab American National Museum. They served Turkish Coffee that was so good! I always recommend Hashems for anyone asking me about where to buy Coffee, Nuts or Spices.

Yelp
What an amazing place!! While visiting a good friend of mine, she brought out some of the best nuts I had ever tasted. When I asked her where she got them, she told me about Hashem's. I made her get up & take me. Am I ever glad she did! Walking in, the smells take you over. They have the most amazing assortment of nuts, spices, & coffee. Being overwhelmed, I was immediately taken under the wing of the sales person, who kept putting one delicious thing to taste into my palm after another. When I showed interest in all the spices they had, he explained everything to me. I'm not a coffee drinker, but I could smell the aroma, & it was heavenly. They also had wonderful bakery goods, grains, and other things to purchase as well. I went there for nuts, and walked out with so much more! Anyone who hasn't been here, needs to go immediately!! Not only is there wonderful things to purchase, but the service can't be beat! They are genuinely happy to have you there. They want you to enjoy your experience in their store, and to leave feeling happier then when you came in.

Yelp
This place is the best. Tons of roasted nuts. House blended teas. Spices galore. This place also had the nicest people working there.
google avatar

Nikki S.

Yelp
Nicest guys ever. They were giving me samples left and right, and encouraging me to try whatever I wanted in the store. (not like I was eating the store, but how often does a store owner encourage you to do that, right?) Great selection of spices, coffee, nuts, Lebanese candies (which I had never had, and they're amazing) and a slew of other Middle Eastern goodies. I was showing my brother around who is a big foodie but isn't that familiar with that type of cuisine. They gave him the whole tour. If you go there you will not be disappointed. You can tell they really love what they do.
google avatar

Mike S.

Yelp
This place is truly a staple in the Dearborn community and beyond! Hashem market has the freshest selection of mixed nuts as well as coffee and other grocery items. The Hashem family are great people and business owners. I've been coming here for years and the service has always been excellent. This is one of those places you hope will always be around. I highly recommend them!
google avatar

Rola S.

Yelp
This place has the freshest products around. The prices are high but I guess that's because their products are superior to the rest.

Nathan L.

Yelp
Wonderfully kind and helpful, Sam and Ali helped us find everything we needed with great humor! They were full of helpful suggestions and made our trip here enjoyable. This will be our go to every time we come up from Cincinnati! Thanks, guys - you were great!

Joe E.

Yelp
Great place for a wide variety of nuts, seeds, candy, spices, etc. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Yelp
they have the BEST turkish delights. they are soooo good and they even have some with flower petals on them!! the guy who works there was superrrr nice and let us try some before we bought if we weren't sure!

Yelp
I love the coffee from here and the staff is informative, and attentive. Wessam was very helpful in walking me through the steps of making the perfect cup of Turkish coffee. I'm still working on my technique but with Hashem's coffee you can't go wrong. A real gem of a shop.

Corinne T.

Yelp
Loved this store! So many authentic products. Coffee is Fantastic. Coffee, tea and nuts are made by the family. Sam is so helpful. Will be going back again.

Yelp
Incredibly friendly and courteous staff. I needed some Turkish coffee and was sent here by the folks at Shatla's - which is just down the road. Immediately upon entry I was made to feel welcome and at home. In minutes the gentlemen was blending and grinding beans for my Turkish coffee order and making small talk with me while I surveyed the shop's unique offerings. The owner came out and made small talk with my Mother in the interim. The staff clearly wish to know their community -- they do this the old fashioned way by shaking hands and looking you in the eye... and smiling. How refreshing! The store itself is charming and smells INCREDIBLE. All sorts or household items -- for the kitchen to the bath -- are on display. I also needed a Turkish Coffee Pot (cezve/ibrik) and the gentlemen hooked me up with a simple but very nice one from Syria (inexpensive as well). They also directed me to their website for a video on how to expertly craft the perfect cup of Turkish coffee. My first batch was a huge success because of this video. I loved Hashems and will be a customer as long as they are in business. Thanks so much for an unforgettable visit!
