Hashi Market is a treasure trove of all things Japanese and an absolute must-visit for anyone who loves great food, unique finds, and an incredible shopping experience. This two-story supermarket goes above and beyond in offering an authentic slice of Japan right in your neighborhood. The ready-made food section is a standout. I grabbed breakfast here, and it was fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Their sushi is some of the best you can find outside a specialty restaurant. Each piece is perfectly crafted, with fresh fish and quality ingredients that truly elevate the experience. Whether it’s nigiri, maki, or sashimi, you can taste the care and attention to detail in every bite. But the magic doesn’t stop there. Hashi Market boasts an impressive selection of rare and common Japanese snacks, from savory chips with unique flavors to sweet treats like mochi and Pocky in varieties you won’t find elsewhere. It’s a snack lover’s paradise! On top of that, the fresh produce, meats, and seafood are top-notch. Everything is impeccably fresh, making it a great spot to shop for ingredients if you’re planning a Japanese meal at home. The second floor is where things get even more fun. They have an amazing selection of makeup, skincare products, and the coolest blind boxes I’ve ever seen. I couldn’t resist grabbing a bunch, and I was thrilled with what I got—no disappointments at all! The thrill of opening them adds to the experience, and their range is fantastic, with something for every collector or hobbyist. The layout of the store is well-organized, making it easy to navigate despite its vast offerings, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Whether you’re there for groceries, a quick meal, or a bit of retail therapy, the team ensures you have an enjoyable visit. Hashi Market is more than a supermarket—it’s an experience. From the amazing food to the rare finds, every visit feels like a little adventure. Highly recommend stopping by, whether you’re a foodie, a collector, or just curious—you won’t be disappointed!

Awesome Japanese deli with a classic (and much appreciated) 50% off after 8PM daily sales for hot and cold prepared food. Clean store with great selection. Steep discounts for items that’s approaching expiration / best by date

Don't get me wrong the store itself is great. The problem is they are advertising themselves as handicap accessible which they are not. The ramp leads to a step and only one door opens so you have to be very careful when attempting to enter and exit so you don't fall down the step.

There is a newly open Japanese supermarket Hashi Market and we were appealed by its lively ambiance. Their product lineup from grocery, snack to daily supply is great with reasonable price. We highly recommend their bento which was made freshly with various ingredients. The salmon was grilled properly with appetizing flavor. The Sweet Potato Cream Bun from Hattendo was really good with creamy filling and soft bun.

I can assert this as a Japanese. Most of the products in this store are Chinese or Korean foods. They deceive customers by pretending that the products are made in Japan. It was like a joke that they were claiming that the eel from China was shipped directly from Hokkaido.

I love this place. It's very affordable, especially since my school isn't far. I love their ramen and the bean cake when you want something quick. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
I've enjoyed a couple of Japanese markets with a few beverages and snacks, but haven't seen anything quite like Hashi, which pushes further into the prepared food/convenience store bracket. There are many tea and coffee drinks, many sparkling drinks, even a beverage with corn. There's a dazzling variety of spicy potato chips and abundant desserts, with a few frozen foods like sausages. It might seem absurd to go to Hashi for bananas but it's been a long since I saw specimens that had such an ideal spot on the green-to-brown spectrum (specifically 79% yellow, 21% brown).

Yelp
After submitting formal feedback to the Hashi market team, I was expecting some sort of response. Total silence from them after a horrible experience of consuming walnuts embedded in the mochi. Terribly disappointed. I really wanted to like this market, but nut allergies are no joke. Hopefully they will update their labels.

Yelp
Hashi Market opened this past week, and it is almost as if a missing puzzle piece has been found in our neighborhood. I visited the market for a short while earlier this week. They have two floors of Japanese food, stationery, household goods and even toys. Prices seemed fair relative to similar markets in Manhattan. Tribeca is a 'retail killer'--very few stores make it here since the rents are high and foot traffic is low. But Hashi is likely to survive, and hopefully thrive, since it appeals to a broad audience of age and income, and there is nothing like it within walking distance. Many of the labels were not in English and the store didn't seem to have accounted for accessibility (at least not yet). Regardless, I look forward to returning and spending more time here to better understand what is on offer.

Yelp
A nice addition to the neighborhood. Service is very friendly and busy. Tribeca is not the place to come for bargains of any kind. However, I would like to add to the comment made by one reviewer concerning high rents. Most of the rentals in New York are owned by a very few people. However, there are a few good landlords who are not trying to milk their tenants. The only good things coming from the Covid is we now have safe outdoor dining. What really makes a neighborhood is the ability to walk the streets and see people. If a business can get persons back to the offices and once again ordering lunch out we can improve our current situation.

Yelp
This has become my new favorite mini super market, it's a lot cheaper than Jersey City. I can get fresh salmon sashimi for just $13.00. The food is in great condition. It's such a cute shopping experience! Green Leaf Veggies are well priced and looks perfect.

Yelp
Great food and great prices. I came all the time with my kid and they have never failed to be amazing. The neighborhood is lucky to have this place open for business and can't wait to see how they grow in the future.

Yelp
Dear Hashi Market, We are so glad in the neighborhood you are here. Your service is friendly and your prices ok. We love that there is a Japanese market in the neighborhood! BUT : your food is so fake. PLEASE stop PLEASE PLEASE STOP PUTTING SUSHI VINEGAR IN YOUR ONIGIRI RICE AND SPAM MUSUBI RICE. Its disgusting! You cant taste anything else! I work in an office and we used to go 10 people every day to buy from you but EVERYONE threw away the onigiri. It smelled and tasted so strong of vinegar you could not eat it. The office next door said the same. The sushi is ok but your onigiri is disgusting. Some days it is a little better. But SO inconsistent. One day my spicysalmon onigiri had just chunks of salmon sashimi inside, not spicy salmon. My whole office says they are so disappointed and will not be getting lunch there again.

Yelp
Love Hashi! Great addition to the neighborhood. Finally a place to get affordable sushi that's good. Kids love the Japanese soda beverages.
