Perfect way to spend a Sunday in Seattle. The staff were really friendly and the food was great. We opted for bottomless mimosas, which came with fizz and the choice of 3 juices. Chilled atmosphere, and I would definitely go back.

Atmosphere, food, and service were incredible. Nya was super attentive and helpful! Went there for brunch twice during my visit to Seattle. Great place to take friends. I had the French Toast and the Americana Breakfast. Prickly pear margarita and espresso martini were on point. Magic makes some amazing drinks. If you need recommendations, just ask. I'll be back!

If you’re a fan of bold flavors, Hatch Catina is a must-visit. We tried a variety of tacos — the shredded beef was tender and savory, the mahi-mahi was perfectly cooked with a fresh, bright topping of pineapple and mango, and the chicken was juicy with just the right seasoning. The standout of the night, though, was the Hatch chile stew — rich, flavorful, and exactly the kind of comfort food you hope to find served with the jalapeño cornbread. It was moist with just enough heat and was awesome alone but even better when dipped in the stew. The guacamole was incredibly fresh and well-seasoned. On top of the excellent food, the service was attentive, friendly, and efficient. The space itself is beautifully decorated — a warm, welcoming atmosphere with modern Southwestern touches that make it feel special without being overdone. Although we did not have any, the table next to us was highly recommending the margaritas that they serve on tap as well as the tequila specials that they offer. Highly recommend for anyone craving quality Tex-Mex with a Hatch chile twist. I’ll absolutely be back.

Went there with a friend and we enjoyed the burritos. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Gratuity is already added on the bill and they are transparent and proactive about telling customers that upfront.

Honestly was pretty disappointed in this place. Had been thinking of checking it out for a while with my partner who has celiac disease. Our server was great, knowledgeable and able identify gluten free items and get us gluten free chips. First off the restaurant seemed fairly busy and our server seemed to be the only one working the floor plus someone behind the bar. She did a great job considering how much she had to handle. Our three margaritas took 15+ minutes, though they were delicious. I had the blood orange flavor. For dinner I had the beef in chile Colorado burrito and it was FULL of rice and pickled jalapeño, I assumed there would be sauce/beef visible inside but I only found a small amount of meat closer to the center. My partner had the pollo asada plate and enjoyed it though also felt it took very long for what we got. Overall I appreciate the attention to gf/celiac options but I don’t think I will be returning here considering the price and quality.

Google
Honestly pretty mediocre Mexican food. We came here cause someone in our party has a gluten allergy, and the staff accommodated very well. Otherwise, it’s in a pretty sketchy area to walk through. The food is fine (red flag: there’s chopped up romaine lettuce in the taco). And there’s an automatic 20% service charge on all purchases, which I find to be in poor taste. The food was also very expensive for what it is. I’d say take your money elsewhere.

Google
Hatch Cantina is a great spot to hang out with friends or office colleagues, though I wouldn’t recommend it for kids. The neighborhood outside feels a bit shady, but once inside, the restaurant’s service more than makes up for it. The staff was incredibly accommodating and attentive. I ordered a spicy drink, but it turned out to be too hot for my taste. When I mentioned it to the owner, they immediately offered to replace it with a less spicy option, which I really appreciated. It’s rare to find such flexibility and attentiveness. The vegetarian tacos I ordered were delicious and packed with flavor. Overall, I was impressed by the warm hospitality and excellent service, and the food definitely hit the spot. Hatch Cantina is a good choice if you’re looking for a laid-back place to enjoy drinks and good food with friends.

Google
Good. Great. Excellent! Food was good gave a lot of it too. Service was amazing. Yeah it’s downtown (bell town) so parking sucks but it’s worth it. Went in for brunch and got the bottomless mimosas and THEY DON’T miss!! Two bottles later and we still could have kept going but it ends after 3 also served with orange juice, grapefruit and pineapple juice. Got the Chili cheese fries not as spicy as I would like but they have sauces on the table that are really good and added a nice spice to it. My friend got biscuits and gravy. That was on point too she had sunny side up but you can do your eggs however. Large portions! Was not expecting an entire plate of cheese fries. Overall great. At least on a Saturday afternoon.

Yelp
What a delight! Margaritas were terrific. Food was great - fresh with lots of vegan and gluten free options. Atmosphere set the perfect tone for a fun night out. The best part - the service! We were made to feel welcome, valued, and at ease. We look forward to returning!

Yelp
Went here before a night out for a bachelorette party. The owner brought us all complimentary shots and made small smoothie shots for those of us who don't drink. The tacos were delicious! My one negative is the tortilla chips - it is hard to describe, but they weren't anything special. Some were salted well, some not at all. Some warm, some not. The same bowl of chips was hit-or-miss. I know chips are such an important part of a Mexican restaurant, but I truly couldn't not remove a star due to that. The rest of our evening there was wonderful.

Yelp
Food - Food comes out in fairly large portions. Egg was overcooked for our order. 'Hatch browns' are very crispy but underseasoned, you'll have to add some salt if you like a bit of flavor. Overall filling meal. Service - Fast ordering and simple ordering. Menu is digital. Ambiance - Americanized cantina with large windows for light during the daytime. They also have a bar for some night life drinks.

Yelp
So happy to find this place! Had all The things that I love from home! It was a little hot inside due to air conditioning malfunction but other than the drinks and food was excellent! Great range of drinks to choose!

Yelp
Super chill place. I had the banana split, and it was amazing. Also, the server was a chill guy.

Yelp
I'm surprised by how highly rated the reviews are but perhaps my experience was an anomaly. I went during lunch time and they were understaffed. One person was working so they rarely came by to check on us, get our orders, bring what we ordered, etc. Another person eventually started working but they also were not in tune. The food was not good, but maybe it's just what I ordered. I haven't had New Mexico style food so perhaps that's what it was but the quesadilla was drenched in grease and had cinnamon or something crusted over the top. The color looked like I ordered a pancake or a crepe. My friends didn't enjoy their food either. It definitely wasn't traditional Mexican food and I don't know if it aligns with New Mexican food either. I hope your experience is better than mine if you decide to try it.

Yelp
I have been here twice - Great vibes and I hate giving a less-than-stellar review when an owner is so clearly passionate about his business but I found the food falling really flat flavor-wise, Especially for the prices. My BF loved the Queso ($15.75), which was salty, cheesy, and thick. He also had a few blood orange margaritas that he very much enjoyed. The Beef Colorado Burrito ($20) - if a burrito is $20, I am expecting an anomaly. Unfortunately it was mostly rice, and I found the beef to have no flavor. If you prefer leaner meat with less spices (like my BF), you will like :) The staff is super nice.

Yelp
This review is solely for happy hour, which was great! They have $10.50 margaritas that were good! The flavors they had were prickly pear and blood orange, and they had a few other flavors like mango and maybe guava (can't quite remember) for an extra dollar. I don't drink a ton anymore so maybe my tolerance is super low now, but I felt like the margaritas were pretty strong! I did prickly pear and blood orange, and I liked the blood orange better but both were good! the blood orange just had a bit more of a tangy, sour taste. We also got the chips and salsa which weren't anything special but they were good to snack on while having our drinks!

Yelp
Came here for lunch this week and was blown away! First off for what looks like a smaller place on a downtown Seattle street corner, the place is very good sized and has a large bar as well. First thing I noticed is how clean this place is and very bright with good decor. The bartender was also our server at our table, who was very friendly and efficient. And quite frankly, I have eaten chicken burritos is many different places in this world. This was one of the best I ever had. It came with a red and a green sauce (based on how I ordered it) and each had a very unique flavor, one quite a bit spicier than the other. And the price for burritos and a couple drinks was just fine. Really enjoyed my experience and will be back soon.

Yelp
Food and service were quick and the meal was delicious. They gave a lot of chips! The restaurant was cute and the lighting was very ambient for a dinner.

Yelp
I was really impressed by Hatch Cantina! I've walked by it a million times and honestly never thought anything of it-- but we stopped in yesterday and I know we'll be back! When we arrived it was still happy hour, so we got margaritas off that menu. $11.50 is a bit steep for a HH marg, but the spicy was extremely delicious so well-worth it in my opinion. We started with the crab flautas and cornbread. The cornbread was moist and flavorful, and the flautas were well-textured, unique, and flavorful! My partner got the chili relleno with beef Colorado. The chili was nicely fried and was stuffed with a decadent cheese. The beans were also very good with a nice smokiness to them. I got the pork hatch chile green stew and it was incredible! Spicy, tangy, creamy, and full of big chunks of pork. The recipe is the owner's grandmother's, and he honestly could've created the restaurant for this dish alone! We ended with the Mexican chocolate brownie which was the perfect way to end the meal. The food here reminded me of the Mexican food we got in Denver, and that's a big compliment!

Yelp
Best restaurant in Seattle! Very friendly owners and staff, beyond epic food, great venue for small and private parties. Go check it out!!!

Yelp
Food was really good - my family is from New Mexico, and ever since moving out, I've missed good southwest cooking. This place did not disappoint and I loved seeing lots of familiar dishes on the menu. Between my husband and I, we had the house margarita, blood orange margarita, chips and salsa, carnitas tacos, and smothered beef burrito with "Christmas" chili (mix of green and red). Everything was delicious, service was great, and I'm excited to come back and try the sopapillas and other dishes. The setting was also quite nice with lots of lights, nice decor, and comfortable seating.

Yelp
Clean and big space. Amazing service. Great food. Any appetizers are good. Carne asada was delicious.

Yelp
This is a really fun place on Saturdays when CZNS play here. It is a festive atmosphere with a bar area that features live music. This area is somewhat narrow, but there are about 6 or so tables along the windows, which might be garage or half garage doors that open in the summer, and then there are a couple of standing tables and seats at the bar. They have a great late night happy hour with discounted Margs. I like when the blood orange margs are on the menu. Their chips come with 3 different types of salsa's/oils that are really good. The staff, as well as the manager or owner, are all laid back and fun. Again, we really enjoy the duo CZNS that they bring in on Saturdays, who have really fun energy, and play a lot of 90's, 00's, 10's mashups. I can't vouch for the food yet, but could imagine stopping in sometime for brunch or dinner now that we have a good view of the place.

Yelp
**Review Based on Happy Hour Only** A friend recommended this place, so we decided to check it out for happy hour. Unfortunately, I found the food menu quite disappointing; there wasn't much that appealed to me. For a Mexican restaurant, I would expect to see tacos (not hard shell) or quesadillas on the menu. The margaritas were just okay, and the chips tasted like they came from a grocery store. The salsa was way too salty for my taste. Overall, it wasn't the experience I was hoping for. I'd also like to mention the pricing. For me, $4 chips and $10 drinks don't quite feel like happy hour value. It's a bit steep compared to what I'd expect during happy hour.
google avatar

Yelp
I like Hatch but had a negative experience at happy hour. Meet a couple folks for a couple drinks and bites and closed up our tab. I thought the total was off but wasn't given an itemized receipt. I realized after receiving the text version that we'd been charged a "large party service fee" of 20%. Unfortunately it's not stated on the happy hour menu so we didn't know it existed. We'd tipped the server cash and gone on our way. I think it should be made clear that this fee exists even in the bar. The queso fundido was not as good as previously but folks loved their margaritas. If Hatch can resolve this problem we'd give it another try.

Yelp
Great service, amazing food, bottomless mimosas... the dream brunch experience in Seattle!

Yelp
Stopped by for brunch the other day and it did not disappoint! To start, the space is large, brightly lit, and has plenty of seating, even for large groups. The service was spot on and the food came out quickly. For food, we tried the 4 Corners Benedict and the Huevos Rancheros. The Benedict was fantastic with corn cakes smothered in a red chili hollandaise, topped with 2 sunny side up eggs, and served with a side of hatch browns. The hatch browns were packed full of flavor and were a crispy delight. For the Huevos Rancheros, it was hands down the best I've had. The crispy tostadas never got soggy through the whole meal and the pork was flavorful and fell apart. The green chili sauce perfected the dish, leaving me wanting more. Now for the drinks, the Bloody Caesar and Cadillac Margarita were my favorites. However, there wasn't a bad choice. Overall, this is a fantastic Southwestern restaurant in Belltown. They have specials everyday of the week and can't wait to checkout Taco Tuesday! Definitely will be back for brunch again and will have to try the bottomless mimosas.

Yelp
Super boujee, modern Mexican restaurant that definitely fit a fun, dressy night out vibe! Stopped here while vacationing in Seattle. The food and margaritas were pretty good! The tacos (pictured below) were a bit greasy and soggy, so this made them less enjoyable. Chips and salsa were also extra and kinda of pricy which wasn't great news for starving people! Probably won't stop in again the next time I'm in Seattle just because I think there's lots of other options to check out.
google avatar

Puria D.

Yelp
The fact the place and owner are dog friendly automatically brings this place to a 3/5. The food, drinks service and atmosphere addres the remaining 2 stars. Come early for happy hour specials and don't forget to bring your best friend!

Yelp
First of all I like to think that I hyped myself up too much for this place. The reviews were all amazing and the food looked excellent. We stopped here for brunch before a matinee Mariners game. We got there a bit after opening and we were the only ones there which was weird to me. Anyway, the server was great and very informational about the food and drinks. We started off with a couple Margaritas. I had the jalapeño and my wife had the prickly pear. Mine was great, my wife and I agreed hers was extra sweet. I finished mine but she did not finish hers. We started out with the Queso Fundito and chips. Very flavorful. There were many things that I wanted to try in the menu but I settled for the Huevos Rancheros. It was alright. Very large portion, but I did not want to eat it all. My wife ordered the Americana Breakfast, which was just a normal breakfast. The hatch browns were good, but nothing else stood out. We dined with friends which doubled the Africana order and also added biscuits and gravy. The biscuits that came with the Americana as well as what were used for the biscuits and gravy were HARD. Like I mean hard. Inedible. My friend finished one half of one of the biscuits of his biscuits and gravy. The restaurant itself was clean and inviting, but the food itself just wasn't there. Maybe the lunch and dinner is where it's at, and I may come back to give it a whirl, I feel like we just came in on a seriously off day.
google avatar

Ritish C.

Yelp
Below average food. Started causing digestive issues 30 mins after me and my partner had tacos and popcorn chicken ( was sent back earlier as it was served cold). Could also barely taste alcohol in the margaritas. Came back after a year to give another chance. Was disappointed again.
google avatar

Vanessa A.

Yelp
Two words. Bottomless. Brunch. I came with two friends at 11am on a Saturday and we were seated with champagne almost immediately. Three bottles and some delicious food later and we were making our giggly way back home. If you're looking for a drunk start to your morning, then look no further. As for food, they have a great variety of both American and Mexican breakfast options. The food was hearty which was very necessary to power through the mimosas. And they had some fun twists on breakfast staples like adding corn and hatch chilis to the biscuits and gravy. I also appreciated the salsas they provided, which allow you to adjust for heat to your liking. Mostly street parking in this area. You'll probably have to drive around a bit for a spot. Don't drink and drive, kids.
google avatar

Kris S.

Yelp
Service and food was some of the best we have had in Seattle. Will definitely be back!!
google avatar

Yelp
Where I go to get my prickly pear margarita and green chile fix. They have been to ABQ many times and this place nails it.
google avatar

Yelp
I attended the ReFed event here because reducing food waste and supporting the slow food movement is my life. Phil, the chef, is amazing with his passion for reducing food waste and welcomed us with open arms. The hospitality and food were on point, especially the hatch chili which Phil and the team make using his grandma's recipe. Iconic. A must try!

Yelp
I was really excited after seeing a high review score. But overall disappointed. Everything was just ok. I wouldn't go back and sorta wish we had gone somewhere else. In the happy hour menu with 4 of us, 5 cocktails and food we walked out spending $250, including tip. That's not that great a deal for a happy hour. The food was mediocre at best. Most of it tasted like ready made meals from the grocery store. The guacamole tasted like the stuff you buy in a tub in the deli section of a grocery store. The queso some how had almost no flavor which I don't understand how with cheese. Salads was ok. The place has potential but they need a better chef to create a better menu of quality food items. Especially at those prices.

Yelp
Had a great experience at Hatch Cantina. Our daughter has celiac and they were super accommodating and knowledgeable. We enjoyed everything that we tried from the green chile cheese fries and carnitas tacos to her gluten free items such as the queso fondito and the pollo asada. Highly recommend stopping by and giving them a shot if you have the chance!
google avatar

Harshmeet S.

Yelp
We had this place in our list for a long time and we went during happy hour. The drinks and food were a bit disappointing. The service was great the server helped us with the drinks order and we ordered a couple of skinny margaritas with chips and salsa. I felt the drinks were average and chips were store bought. The ambience of the place is great!
google avatar

Greg O.

Yelp
Terrific eatery in Belltown. Good happy hour menu with a large carne asada offering on the regular menu. Everything we tried was great. Batch made blood orange and regular house margs were superb. Friendly attentive staff. We will return!
google avatar

Tyra K.

Yelp
Service was great, the interior felt modern and was decorated colorfully, and the drinks were so good. Especially the blood orange margaritas! The pollo and carnitas burritos had squash and were not as flavorful as I was hoping. But, my mom got the mahi mahi salad and that was tasteful!
google avatar

Jessica T.

Yelp
I will say the service here is absolutely wonderful but the food is mediocre at best. There are much better places near by with a better selection of food. The ambiance is relaxing and beautiful inside but my table ordered 5 different items and they were all okay.
google avatar

Scott A.

Yelp
We chose this place because of its vegan options. The farther away from Southern California the worse the Mexican food gets. Hatch Cantina came through. We were more then satisfied with the food, but were more impressed with service. From the hostess to the Manager, we felt really welcomed and looked after.
google avatar

Jeff W.

Yelp
I'm a lover of tacos. Hole in the walls in Burien. Taco trucks near home improvement stores. And I'd put this right up there. One it's a gorgeous space. Super thoughtful design. Surprisingly excellent value for the location. And then just look at the presentation of tacos. If you're hungry try the chili cheese fries. Gooey and hatch deliciousness. Everything was fresh, hot, and memorable. Chef Phill even came out and showed us some fancy super top shelf tequila!
google avatar

Derrick G.

Yelp
This is an excellent Mexican fusion restaurant, located in Downtown Seattle. The vibe and atmosphere of this restaurant is very hip, and the staff are very outgoing, courteous and attentive. We tried several dishes and were pleased with all dishes; they were Mexican inspired with a unique flare. I highly recommend this restaurant, if you're in downtown Seattle.
google avatar

Laura S.

Yelp
Corner restaurant offers the hip, laid back ambiance with southwest fresh flair! It was a nice break from the Seattle scene of breweries & seafood. GF popcorn was excellent and shared well with fresh chips & salsa for the table. Chicken Tinga was the lone entree we tried, so fresh and filling.

Echo Z.

Yelp
Came in for happy hour and managed to get a seat last minute. Beautiful place with great drinks and food. Get the Crispy Tacos, an upscale version of Doritos tacos mmmmm...... Also had house margs and popcorn chicken, I don't think you can go wrong here. Get. Those. Tacos!

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place for a while, having family in New Mexico myself I wanted to see how true to the NM style the food was. Definitely NM inspired BUT nonetheless good! Some context, I came here with some out of town family on a busy Saturday night and our original dinner plans didn't pan out so we popped in here with our party of 7. Jason, one of the owners took it upon himself to ensure that our party got sat right away. Service was excellent and fast. Food I got. Gotta say that green chile stew was on point and had a good amount of heat! Delicious! I will come back just for a bowl of this stew, so yummy! The beer battered chile relleno was an interesting take on a chile relleno. Definitely not my family's chile relleno but that's okay! It was delicious! Like I said, New Mexico inspired! The beans were on point! Salsas that came with the meal were great. Ribs for the appetizers were fall off the bone tender and so so so good! Loved all the nods to New Mexico in the restaurant, especially with the riestras! Thank you Jason and staff for seating us on a busy Saturday night. We enjoyed it!

Yelp
We had a work happy hour gathering this week and the skinny margaritas were delicious and the spread set out was great! Guacamole, salsa, fried chicken, enchiladas were very tasty!

Bill B.

Yelp
Delicious dinner made-to-order and got a small bottle of red wine with our meal at a good price.
google avatar

Yelp
We were greeted and seated immediately for a lunch. They only service brunch on weekends until 3. Our server was friendly and checked on us frequently. She was flexible with us splitting the check so that was super appreciated. All three of us loved our meals, the favorite being the popcorn chicken and corn cakes. The chips and salsa were amazing! It was a really nice spring afternoon so the windows and doors were open. The decor is really nice and tables were spaced comfortably.

Yelp
Visited Hatch Cantina for a working lunch meeting and had a great experience! We went on a Monday, which is a bonus because I wasn't even aware that Mondays are all day happy hour. Score! Cute spot with lots of seating. Appreciate that they have wall plug-ins so that remote work is made easy here. Seems like most people know that secret, because there were lots of laptops out. Service was kind and food/drinks came out pretty quickly. I got the quesadilla with carnitas as well as the grapefruit aperol spritz. The quesadilla was tasty and the salsa it came with for dipping had great flavor. Loved the spritz, too! Nice and refreshing and a nice change from a mimosa (what I probably normally would've ordered). We also tried the Hatch Fries during the Bite of Seattle and those were also really good. Not sure if those are always on the menu, but if so, definitely recommend them! Also, they do bottomless mimosas with their weekend brunch, so... I'll be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Loved this place the first time I went. It's a tiny bit pricey, but worth it for what you get. The indoor/outdoor seating is perfect for a summer afternoon in Belltown. They have plenty of gluten free options for a fairly limited menu, and the food is really great. We all loved our margaritas. The service was nothing to write home about, but that's my idea type of service at a chill Mexican spot. Will be back for more soon!!
google avatar

Yelp
OMG! Must try!!! If you're a margarita fan (and this one drink buzz girl is) then run, don't walk, to happy hour and grab one. They pack a pretty powerful punch and are delicious. I like margaritas on the less sweet side - I was told these are pre-made in the morning - and this one did not disappoint. Not overly sweet, but definately overly delicious. Hubs is from New Mexico, so this is a welcome addition in our happy hour rotation. We had chips and salsa (duh!) and devoured them. We chatted with the owner, and upon hearing hubs was from New Mexico and likes really spicy food, he brought us out a taste of the green chile stew. Very flavorful and delicious. It was a bit spicy for me, but hubs thought it was amazing. We shared the Chicken Enchiladas "Christmas". IYKYK. A highlight to our dinner was the side of rice and beans. The beans had such great flavor and the owner recommended we put the mild chili sauce on them. I could probably eat just the beans next time. We didn't even order sopapillas.....largely due to the 2nd margarita, but we plan to come back. Sopapillas are high on our list!! Please go and support this restaurant - I want it to stay around for eternity!!

Yelp
We stopped in on a whim and were not disappointed! The vibe was amazing, the staff was super nice, the drinks were strong and the food was delicious with a kick. We started with the salsa, chips & guac. So good! Then my mom & I split the quesadilla and it was a spicy array of cheese with the perfect crisp tortilla. Jason, the owner, was such a cool guy and loved to chat. Honestly, we could've hung out all night! Thank you from the Texas mother/daughter crew!

Yelp
My name is Dee &I host Dee Street eats on TikTok, a popular LIVE food show. I started doing reviews on yelp and food bits on Twitch, but pivoted to TikTok and have succeeded in that. I give you this background because most of my reviews are now in video format--but This particular video review ran an error code and I BOOKED it here so I could give a review on one of the most impressive restaurants I have been to in Seattle. To start out, I went into this restaurant, thinking the very least and was just looking for a good salad. The staff was so friendly and so with what I was about to do ( live show ) that they immediately accommodated any needs I needed and let me begin. my waiter Mary, was an entire vibe! She never once made me feel out of place and instead, made sure all my food was timed right! The salsa and chips came out, and I did not even need to salt them--which is a problem I have with Seattle food. & The portion size blew my mind! So many chips!! Then The salad dropped. The salad was something I could not stop eating!! I'm so frustrated the video didn't save because you needed to see this! It looked great on camera and it tasted just as good as it looked! The viewers/audience were equally as impressed! Then someone comes out and asks how everything is and after replying I'm so impressed it's delicious. I can't believe it. He reveals himself to be one of the owners! He not only participates in the live show, but gives me samples of other foods to try! And not just me! The entire floor got the samples! These types of restaurants/owners are few and far between in Seattle and it's good to know that they still exist! Noteworthy moments hidden by my salad obsession: The margarita was delicious. Their desserts were delicious and they even have scorpion hot sauce! (Try it with your own discretion but to me? It was also "so so good"!) The video is lost in the error world but I will never forget this first time here! And I will 100% be back so I can grab photos for this audience and grab a video for that one! Hatch Cantina is... DEE STREET EATS APPROVED!!!

Yelp
Monthly lunch meetup with Carol, a fellow Yelper/IGer at Hatch Cantina in Seattle's Belltown neighborhood on 4/8/23. A bit of a challenge with heavy rain, circling for expensive street parking, and hoping to not be a random crime victim. Thankfully, not - but the next day there was a shooting incident near 3rd/Bell. Pro tip - just be aware of your surroundings. Nice interior with lots of natural light. Attentive and welcoming server. Seated and provided with water and noticed trio of house salsas on the four top. Menu via QR Code. Ordered and received our selections shortly thereafter. We were able to have a pleasant convo and wrapped it up before my two hour street parking expired. We ordered and shared the following: Chips with salsa, added guacamole ($11) Freshly prepped, generously served chips, evenly seasoned. Decent salsa, liked the guacamole better. Popcorn Chicken ($15) This came with a dipping sauce. Ample serving, brought what we couldn't finish to The Homie. He too appreciated it. However, I definitely prefer Japanese style chicken karaage. Carnitas Tacos with rice and beans ($15) Tacos come as a pair, again generous serving for each of us. The cojita cheese was a nice exclamation point with each bite. I enjoyed the accompanying flavorful rice and beans. Nice addition to the Belltown dining scene coming up on a year at 2nd/Bell. They take walk-ins and reservations. Nice spot with a full bar for a bite and/or to hang out for awhile. Probably would come back and try other tacos, the soup and queso, because I enjoy New Mexican cuisine using roasted green chiles.
