Fort Lauderdale and Broward County’s 10 Best New Restaurants, 2024 - Eater Miami

"This is a New Yorker we are all very happy to see. In late July, this brunch spot opened its second U.S. location – the original being in Huntington, N.Y. – in Flagler Village. Its buzz isn’t dying anytime soon, with instant favorites including zesty orange mimosa pancakes, a Nutella-loaded banana foster French toast, and a Southwest benedict with a crispy tortilla base that’s doused in mashed avocado and ranchero-inspired hollandaise." - Jesse Scott

This was our first time at Hatch. The atmosphere was great, loved the decor. The food and service was incredible. I had the Charleston Benedict—delicious. I also indulged in an espresso martini and a salted caramel espresso martini. They were a nice way to kick start the day. The quality of the food was well worth the cost which I found very reasonable. Finally, our server, Joanna, was personable and attentive. She was phenomenal! A great experience overall!

I absolutely love love love this place! Went in here on a whim and it was everything and more! Cat was our waitress and she did such a beautiful job at accommodating our food choices and explaining the menu, and the manager was so sweet as well. The food is beyond amazing and so are the drinks, highly recommend stopping in!

Google
Hatch in Miami is a charming spot that delivers exactly what you’d expect from a diner hearty, comforting plates that hit the spot. The food is definitely good, with generous portions and flavors that satisfy those diner cravings. You’ll find the classics done well, from breakfast staples to burgers, and everything arrives hot and fresh. That said, it’s important to keep expectations in check it’s still diner food at the end of the day, so you’re not coming here for culinary innovation or farm-to-table artistry. The coffee, while serviceable, didn’t really stand out. It’s drinkable and pairs fine with breakfast, but nothing that would have me coming back just for a cup. They offer fun sounding flavored coffees on the menu, but to me, those flavors leaned more toward artificial syrup taste rather than something freshly infused or crafted. Where Hatch shines is its casual, laid back atmosphere and friendly service. It’s the kind of place you pop into for a satisfying breakfast before a busy day or a no-fuss lunch with friends. If you’re in Miami looking for a solid, classic diner meal, Hatch is worth checking out just know you’re getting simple comfort over gourmet flair. Prices are fair, and staff are very friendly. We had a celebratory moment for one of our friends, and the barista came out with a special made coffee cup with his face on the foam which i personally thought was not only sincere but amazing

Google
This was my first time dining at Hatch. This location wasn’t busy on a weekday morning and parking in the adjacent garage was a breeze (validated). I was tempted to order the french toast but settled on the BLT-A and added an egg. For the side, my server, Joanna, recommended the tots. Great choices, Joanna. For my beverage I kept it simple with a glass of ice water. My food arrived at the table in about ten minutes. Everything was good and their tots are slightly more square and larger than the average tot. Additionally they have a stronger onion taste, which I liked. Early 2000s R&B played on the speakers and the noise level was low, so I could have a good conversation, had I not been dining alone. Prices are reasonable and my meal was under $20 before tip.

Google
Great food. Cool vibe. Our server was Jamie and she helped us navigate the menu like a boss. Led us into new culinary frontiers and left us with no regrets. My wife and I ordered the Charleston Benedict (basically chicken and waffle eggs Benedict) and the massive deeply tasty breakfast burrito. We'll be back. Going to take some time to work through the whole menu. I'm here for it, though.

It was my first time to have a breakfast in this beautiful place. I ordered egg burger. I love it. The bread is amazing. I guess it handmade eggs and bacon was very cooked well.I will definitely go highly recommend it and the inside is yellow. that’s my best color and they sell coffee cups has a smiling face on it. I got one.

Google
Service: Joanna was great! Her positive energy and attentiveness elevated the dining experience. She was consistently attentive without being overbearing, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Food: The generous portions were appreciated, but the egg omelette was on the bland side. A healthy dose of hot sauce helped give it a bit more flavor and personality. Atmosphere: Loved the vibe and the location! The space was clean, inviting, and perfectly situated in a trendy part of Fort Lauderdale, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal.

Google
I'm not a morning person - like, at all. In fact, mornings and I have been in a toxic relationship for a years. Everytime I'm in the area this place is a must! The vibe is very Egg-lectic ( Yea I said it ). The staff makes you feel like family more and more each time. Joanna took excellent care of us and helped me decide on a delicious huevo ranchos. The hot sauce they provide was delicious as well!

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic. The food was simply delicious, the employees were extremely friendly and attentive and the music choice was impeccable. Will definitely be coming back next time I'm in town.

Yelp
The best coffee I've had is from here. It was a Blueberry Crumb Latte. I recommend it. The body and flavor are on point. I only wish it came in a bigger size. This restaurant is one of my favorite places. It's a bright, happy place. I liked the bright yellow devotions and games the place has. You just can't help but to feel good when you see the happy faces printed on a coffee cup lol. I come for breakfast. It serves breakfast late and I am super happy about that. I had The Hashtag Tots and Eggs. The dish was a good size. I liked everything about this dish. I would order it again. The staff was wonderful. They checked on me a few times. The service was good. I was happy.

Yelp
My family and I had a lovely experience here at "Hatched". The service was impeccable by our server. She did everything we needed and more. We were seated very fast so we had great service. The atmosphere there is really bright and cheery. with all the beautiful colors of the restaurant and It Smells lovely in there also. Also really cleaned and fresh. I got the Powerball with quinoa, poached eggs, avocado, tomato salsa, and awesome marinated mushrooms . It was delicious. I really enjoyed it. It really filled me up. I was full all day after that. My husband got the hangover burger. He said it was so different than anything he's ever tried and he loved it. He always loves to eat the classic burgers, but this one was so different with off-the-wall things in it and he loved it.. My sister got the burrito. She said it was really excellent. My coconut milk latte was really delicious in that happy mug. It was so nice and creamy. My mom got the espresso shot and it was absolutely horrible it was so sour. She ordered a second one and the second one was also super sour. I recommend checking out what's going on with your espresso machine. Because it also tasted really burnt. I tried it also and they're definitely was something wrong with the espresso shot. But other than that, we really enjoyed it. We had great service. The place was so delightful and fun and bright, and cheery we'll definitely be back again.

Yelp
It was a solid visit, we've been wanting to give this place a try. The ambiance was cool the restaurant had seating inside and out. The decor fit the restaurant aesthetic, it reminded us of the an airport terminal/food court, it was very Hatched. The service was good and thorough, she gave her suggestions on menu and was pretty knowledgeable on the menu. I had the burrito with bacon, sausage, potato's, black beans and egg. I enjoyed it, it was my kind of burrito. I got all the salsa's on the side along with sour cream. My wife had the avocado toast but didn't really care for it. It came with arugula, avocado, red onion and marinated tomato, it comes with sourdough but we got it with multi grain and our egg was cooked hard instead of medium. Overall it was a solid visit. 3.5 G's.

Yelp
3.5 stars... Bright sunny joint with a focus on the yellow... Plenty of options, and I chose the chicken & waffles... nice thick waffle topped with bacon and crispy battered chicken breast. Butter and maple syrup rounded out the dish. Ambiance is cheery diner, service was prompt and friendly, and prices were in line with the area.

Yelp
Fort Lauderdale has tons of Restaurants to choose from, so it was not easy deciding which restaurant to go to for Brunch. Located downtown Ft Lauderdale, Parking is tight, but they are across from a garage, so it was perfect. We went on Sunday it was busy! Our group was four so we didn't need a large table, they seated us promptly. I ordered the Pancakes with Ham and Eggs, the Pancakes were light and fluffy, they were good, the eggs weren't cooked the way I requested (scrambled soft) but they were okay. My friends ordered Corn beef and said it was really good and so was the eggs Benedict. They also have cocktails, but I didn't have any, but the options are available for those wanting to Partake. Based on the food, I didn't have anything worth returning for, however, the ambiance was lively and service was very good despite it being busy, great place for some nice pictures outside also.

Yelp
Good breakfast spot. Came here randomly with my family and all 4 of us enjoyed it. my little ones enjoys from chocolate pancakes while the husband and I had various egg dishes. Good breakfast, decent prices and good service. Cute inside as well. I would return here.

Yelp
I love coming here to eat! It's usually busy on the weekends and I like to sit at the bar with my girl. The portions are large, one time I got an omelet and couldn't get it all. You can definitely share if you're not as hungry. I did also try the breakfast sandwich which was very good.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here for a birthday brunch and had a great time! Everyone loved what they ordered. I had the breakfast burger with tots and it was great. I would have loved more bacon jam on it but more is more when it comes to that. I also had the dirty iced caramel latte which was soooo good. Very sweet and boozy. Our server was great until the end when we waited a while for the check. The inside is nice and bright but kinda cramped with all the tables.
google avatar

Yelp
Took a long time to get food, but it was good. Wait staff pleasant. Will probably go back.
google avatar

Kaitlin H.

Yelp
From the decor to the food everything is well thought of. The corned beef was clearly not from a can but real chunks of corned beef with chunks of potatoes and it was so tasty as well as plenty in terms of portion. The toast was thick and not just a bread out of a bag but bakery quality. The waitress was so very nice and very tentative. Even though it was super crowded I didn't feel like she had forgotten about us. The gluten free pancakes were also delicious!
google avatar

Diana T.

Yelp
We've eaten here two days in a row! The atmosphere is bright and welcoming! The wait staff is attentive and very pleasant! The manager stopped by our table today and was impressed that we weren't on our phones, but we're present and interacting with each other! Now on to the food! I ordered scrambled eggs with cheese, avocado and tater tots both days. The tots are a MUST order!!! My husband ordered the French toast straight up with scrambled eggs & tots. Our friend's ordered the classic breakfast with hash browns and bacon. The first day, one ordered the huevos rancheros and added bacon. I would have given 5 stars, but the cost of our Bailey's the first day was $24 and my avocado was $5, which is ridiculous so they dropped a star in my opinion.
google avatar

Monissa W.

Yelp
We only had to wait about 10 minutes for a table for two, which was impressive given how crowded it was. The service was excellent--our waiter was attentive and brought everything out quickly. There was a small mix-up with the omelette (my boyfriend asked for mushrooms instead of onions, but the change didn't make it through), but mistakes happen. I ordered the huevos rancheros, which were not only adorable but absolutely delicious. My latte was also perfect--smooth and flavorful. We shared a plate of pancakes, but unfortunately, they weren't our favorite--they were a bit too soggy for our taste. The atmosphere was super cute, with cheerful yellow decor, lots of smiley faces, and Tom and Jerry playing on the TVs. Overall, a fun, upbeat spot with great vibes!

Yelp
Very cute restaurant, modern decor, inviting and colorful, very busy, you will need to wait, sign into the waitlist before you arrive and make sure to see the host upon arrival. The staff were friendly enough and the food was very basic, nothing extraordinary! The drinks were ok also. I wouldn't run to this location, you can walk!

Yelp
Food + Drinks: Healthy, Delicious, and Totally Worth It Healthier than most places without being boring, tasty without being greasy, and sweet without going overboard. Plus, it looks so cute you'll wanna take a pic before you dig in. The coffee is strong and smooth, perfectly made with just the right balance. Not too sweet and not too milky. The price is honestly a steal for what you get. Service: The staff is like a big happy family Everyone's super friendly and hustling to get it done. There were a couple of little mix-ups, but hey, it was packed. The owner is adorable, and the team vibes are top-notch. You can tell they really care. Ambiance: Retro diner mixed with vibrant modern vibes. Everything is so well thought out from the staff's outfits to the lights to the cozy seating. Those cushiony round tables and couch seating? Perfection. It's like a modern twist on an old-fashioned diner with bright colors and tons of natural light coming from the big windows. Pure morning vibes. Wait times... It's so damn good, I heard the wait can be an hour long if you don't have a reservation! Overall: IM COMING BACK. A brunch spot that will always IMPRESS anyone you go with and leave you going home with a happy memory/experience.

Yelp
I love the brightness of this establishment! We've been here 3x now and the food is yummy! I love their pancake flights - we've been able to try different variations and not have to fight haha. My go to is their breakfast burrito, come hungry because it's stuffed with all the fixings. My husband always gets their egg Benedict and it never disappoints. Cocktails are yummy - I recommend their bourbon spiced iced coffee and the pineapple upside down. The host (young girl, has sat us the last 3x on a Saturday) isn't the nicest. Shes ignored us when walking in, played with other people in the front while we waited for her to approach us, gave us attitude several different times. However, the table service has been great every time!

Yelp
Went to Hatch for the first time last month and I really enjoyed it. I had the chicken and waffles and it tasted delicious. I loved the overall vibe and ambiance of the place. Definitely plan to return.
google avatar

Yelp
Let's start with what I liked the most: the decor and the food. The food was delicious. I ordered the Benedict, and everyone else seemed to enjoy their meals as well. However, when we received our check, my in-law looked it over and paid. I double-checked it afterward and noticed that we had been charged for an extra $60 worth of food we never ordered. I believe servers should be more careful with these kinds of mistakes. When we brought it to our waitress's attention and asked her to cancel the order and issue a new bill, she did the opposite. Instead, she returned with the manager, who told us it was easier for them to just remove the extra charges--except for the tip, which was still based on the incorrect total. The manager seemed to have an attitude about us wanting the original bill canceled, which made the situation even more frustrating. On top of that, there was no real apology for the mistake. We wont go back. If you visit, make sure to check your bill carefully. I have never experienced anything like this, especially with such a large overcharge.
google avatar

Yelp
We had the pancake flight and the Benedict-both outstanding! The coffee was delicious and the cafe is so cutely decorated as well!
google avatar

Debbie S.

Yelp
Over all not impressed. Would not return. When we arrived, the hosts seemed like he could care less that we were there. No hello, no smile, seemed annoyed he had to work. Waitress was ok but not proactive. We had to ask for everying, more coffee, more water, syrup for pancake, the check. The food was only mid. My eggs were over cooked (supposed to be over easy), hasbrowns were mushy, and bland. But bacon was really good and pancakewas ok. Other person liked the chicken &waffles. They were more savory than sweet. Restaurant was very cute and bright. Felt fun to be in there.
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent breakfast options, great coffee, fun staff. I always enjoy coming here. The Holy Moly French toast, chicken and waffles, and the BLT-A sandwich, and cinnamon roll pancakes are all delicious! The atmosphere is bright, eclectic, and fun. It's definitely worth a try!
google avatar

Yelp
My best friend and I are big brunch lovers so we had to try Hatch in Fort Lauderdale! We do have to say that it did take us a while to be seated since it was pretty packed on a weekend and the service was kind of slow also for that reason. Either way we were treated very nicely from the servers and thought the place was very nicely decorated as well! The yellow aesthetic was super fun and honestly added to our experience! I ordered a breakfast bowl with quinoa, eggs, and sautéed veggies, and it was delicious ! My best friend got the eggs Benedict with the side of hashbrowns and turkey and it was also very yummy! Definitely would go again to try the other options in the menu !
google avatar

Yelp
First time here. Didn't find street parking and parked in the parking garage across the street. Parking will cost you about $5. We arrived at around 9 am and were seated right away. I encourage you to put yourself on the Call Ahead wait list because the restaurant was pretty busy. The food was good. Even the simple kids pancakes were delicious. Service was the only thing that was a huge issue. The food took way too long. There were other tables that arrived after us, ordered, ate, and left and we were still waiting for our food. Our waitress forgot one of our sides too. Very disappointed with the service, but the 4 stars is for the food because it was good. I believe it was our waitress so maybe we'll give this place another shot at some point.
google avatar

Yelp
I loved this place so much . it's so vibrant and clean . our server was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu . the food was amazing and the drinks were strong . i will say the service is a bit slow , as we waited quite a while on a thursday afternoon . there's so many things to try on the menu , i can't wait to go back
google avatar

Sheri M.

Yelp
A "breakfast near me" search guided us to this delightful spot in Fort Lauderdale. The portions are ample; cooked hot and to order. The server we had was exceptional and attentive. The general manager stopped by to give a warm welcome the second day we were there. We loved the food both days. This is definitely a spot we've booked marked for future visits. Parking was next to the door in a garage parking, validated by the restaurant.
google avatar

Yalonda S.

Yelp
Basic breakfast, nothing special, nothing extraordinary on the menu. Service was attentive. Cute place with lots of yellow. I wouldn't rush to go back, but if I was in the area and needed breakfast I might visit, although there are better restaurants on Las Olas Blvd.
google avatar

Ryan N.

Yelp
Pancakes were decent. Service was subpar. Impossible to get a refill. if you want to eat breakfast with a person who you don't want to listen to what they are saying this is your place. Music is so loud can't hear yourself think
google avatar

Steven W.

Yelp
I was craving breakfast after an early appointment. I parked and entered Batch. Oops! Wrong place. Walked two blocks north to Hatch. Batch/Hatch. Anyway the place is sunny and spacious. The service was on point. The food that I ordered: I didn't love it. Fresh corned beef hash, two poached eggs & rye toast. The hash was eye appealing, loaded with beef, potatoes and onions but had a strange tasted. I wanted savory but it was sweet tomato tasting. The toast came unbuttered so I asked for some. The server brought a chunk of hard butter that I couldn't spread. Underwhelming sums it up. Gotta try Batch next time.
google avatar

Abigail P.

Yelp
I recommend arriving early to avoid being waitlisted. This place gets packed quickly. I was so excited to try Hatch again I forgot to take photos. Yelp had hosted an event here a few months ago and I promised to return to try a few more items as I was sold. Months later I finally got the chance to. I was not disappointed. The food was so good. I ordered the Fried Chicken and Waffles a side of Corned Beef Hash, Pineapple Mojito and an Iced caramel Latte. I enjoyed my meal! I will definitely be back for breakfast/brunch soon.
google avatar

Alicia L.

Yelp
It took approximately 45 minutes to receive our food. When received, my eggs were overcooked, to the point they weren't edible. We also ordered pancakes that were rather dry. The coffee ordered was tasty, but other than that, I won't return. The service was slow and inattentive.
google avatar

Kailyn V.

Yelp
Been a while since I visited this location but this time I can gladly say that I tried something new rather than my go to avocado toast. I had the Monterey Benedict but instead I asked for my eggs sunny side up. I just felt like it would've went better that way. It did not disappoint, super good. I will probably get it again. I also went with the flight of pancake to fulfill that sweet tooth. Which I believe it's such a good deal because you get to try multiple of their specialty pancakes. Which my favorite one was the chocolate chip but that's just because I am a chocolate lover. The other two pancakes were the blueberry danish and the cinnamon roll. This place does get crowded so there is a wait time. The music is always great though.
google avatar

G S.

Yelp
Traveled 30 mins to come to Hatch for my birthday breakfast and upon arrival very cute place. We waited a few minutes to be seated, there were many tables not clean off yet. When we sat it took 15mins for someone to come over and acknowledge us. We got drinks then ordered about 10 mins later when server finally came back. There were only 2 servers working the entire resturant. Our server was pleasant but in the weeds big time. The food took 40mins to arrive to the table and did not live up to the reviews this place has. Was a first and last time experience was not worth the hype. There are so many other resturants nearby that are WAY better!
google avatar

Nicole L.

Yelp
I was a little after 1:00, mid-week when we arrived so there was no wait. Happy latte was fantastic. Avocado Toast was easily the best one I've ever had. I will definitely return.
google avatar

Matt S.

Yelp
You're surrounded by vibrant colors with a retro-like feel as soon as you walk in. We reserved a table online and you're then notified how many tables are in front of you. From when we reserved to when we ate was about an hour, granted, it was a Sunday morning! We started with a peanut butter ice coffee and "made it boozy" with alcohol. Wasn't a great idea, I'd recommend to avoid making it boozy and sticking with something that's already made with alcohol. Regular coffee was great though! We went with the Loaded Breakfast burrito and the Charleston Benedict. Both were delicious! We also loved the Cinnamon French Toast Crunch, wasn't too sweet, surprisingly. Loved the large open space and outside games while you wait. The hostess experience wasn't the best--we were told we wouldn't get a "your table is ready text" until we checked in with her upfront. The tone was off putting, but our server saved the service experience 10x over. Vanese (hope I didn't butcher that) was incredibly sweet and attentive. She had the best energy and great recommendations.

Yelp
Ordered Hatch for breakfast this morning and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the classic which is eggs, meat and potatoes. I got scrambled eggs with added cheese, bacon, well done hash browns and ciabatta bread. First off the amount of eggs I got was crazy they did not skimp on the eggs they were cheesy and I really enjoyed them. The bacon and hash browns were also nice and crunchy. The only thing I wish I would have gotten in the bag was some butter and jam for my bread. Other than that I have no complaints. Very delicious breakfast. I'd defintely order again!
google avatar

Katherine V.

Yelp
Really cool and hip place! Loved the decor and the whole branding of the place! Its really popular right now so waits are long but even waiting is fun as they have games outside for u to play while waiting for ur table (very creative). Service was good and friendly... manager checked on our table and she also very nice. Food was really good, I only wish they have more options for eggs omelette other than byo. We had the breakfast burrito and flight of pancakes (I was so happy with this option where u get to try 3 diff flavors).

Yelp
Staff: Friendly and lovely Environment/Ambiance: Chill, relax, and inviting Food: Definitely worth coming for Time and Date: 1pm on October 19, 2024 Cinnamon Toast Crunch French Toast- Very Delicious Side Bacon and Egg: I love it, almost reminds me of South Carolina Coffee: Really good Cappuccino with Caramel Syrup Water: Always good for you Hi everyone, I came when it wasn't super busy but it's very popular in Fort Lauderdale area. I came for a weekend all the way from South Carolina. I wish there was one in SC. Maybe one day, they will expand in another state. Thank you for taking the time to read my review. Yelp
This was our first time here. Easy to find on N. Federal Highway. Cute and bright interior with kind of a diner feel. Our server Felicia was helpful, attentive, and friendly. We had the breakfast burrito and the pancake flight. The burrito is large and delicious. The pancake flight allows you to order three different types of pancakes; we got the plain/original, chocolate chip, and cinnamon roll pancakes, and they were all light, fluffy, and flavorful. The hot chocolate was creamy and delicious. The coffee and orange juice were good too. There weren't many items that we wanted to try on the menu, so hopefully we'll make it back and do just that!
google avatar

Jen G.

Yelp
We were lucky enough to get in off hours without a wait at all! The restaurant is clean and modern with white and yellow tones. The menu had many delicious choices we didn't not what to select! The server was knowledgeable and friendly- and assisted us in making an eggs-cellent (see what I did there?!) selection. My son got the chicken ad waffles, I opted for the egg white omelet.

Yelp
ABSOLUTE TRASH!!!! After a 40 min wait list, we were seated and waited another 21 minutes to get water!!! Service was absolute trash, never refreshed our coffee, served cold over easy eggs and luke warm pancakes! I wanted to like this spot, but it doesn't compare to Snooze in Atlanta at all! Don't waist your money or time!!! #MyfirstTRASHreviewEver

Yelp
Sunday brunch at Hatch and what a nice treat. We put our name down in advance to be on the waitlist, but they have some games in the front while you wait, like jenga and corn hole. Our service was fantastic, kind, and quick. The manager stopped by too to make sure our table was good, which I always appreciate. I got the classic, which came within 3 eggs your way (I got them over easy, hash browns, protein (I got turkey bacon), and toast (I got rye). The food was delicious. I didn't get a coffee but it looked great, so I'll definitely try it out next time I'm here. Plus, they had these 3 awesome hot sauces that paired so well with my eggs. The blue agave sriracha was my favorite. On top of that, the vibes were good and the music playing was great cause it was today's hits. Overall, a really fantastic place for breakfast/brunch.

Yelp
I tried here for the first time yesterday on my day off and it's definitely a spot you'll have to come back to since they have a few good looking items on the menu. I ordered the corn beef hash, eggs, cinnamon roll pancakes with a cookie butter coffee. If your not a sweet coffee person the. I wouldn't suggest the cookie butter but the vanilla latte is definitely has a nice mild sweetness. Everything was tasty except for the eggs, it seemed like it was powered eggs which was unexpected since the price matched real egg prices. The service was great as soon as I walked in I got served, the server was kind young lady. The environment was pretty packed with families enjoying themselves not to many phones just good conversation which is nice to see.
google avatar

Alex M.

Yelp
The best part of the experience was the cookie crumble latte, I requested it iced and it was very good. The Bloody Mary had an everything bagel rim and wasn't served cold, it was served with hardly any ice. We ordered the Gouda Egg's Benedict, the sausage tastes microwaved, the sauce was bland, but the egg was cooked perfectly. We also ordered the Breakfast Skillet, it was mediocre. Overall the experience took about an hour, they were busy so the service was slow. I saw they had unlimited mimosas for $19.
google avatar

Isabella C.

Yelp
Upon arrival the host seemed very unimpressed to work there. The service is very slow you can tell there isn't that many servers. As far as the food goes the huevos rancheros is amazing! The pancakes were very soft and I highly recommend the blueberry one. The coffee is not very flavorful and the chicken was dry.

Yelp
We couldn't get in on Sunday, so we lucked up Monday morning. Just FYI, the earlier the better. We tried reservations on Sunday and didn't get a response until 2 hours later. However, my family wasn't disappointed in the service or food Monday morning. Ordering was a breeze. The menu has several options, even some vegan and gluten free options. The theme and decor is fun and you can tell it's all about Eggs but that's not thr only thing to order. You have options from benedicts, pancake flights, blts, and chicken dishes. The options are plentiful. My family ordered the avocado chicken salad, blt, hash browns, and blueberry danish pancakes. The servings were nice size. Everything came out delicious and hot! My favorite part was something so simple but they had syrup on standby in a heated container. That's something I always have a hard time receiving at restaurant, because who wants cold syrup on hot pancakes? Not I! If I was to ever go back to Ft. Lauderdale, Hatch is a must!

Yelp
Bustling breakfast place! Atmosphere is lively and happy! The decor is so cool - colored plexiglass, chicken coop-style booths. When the light shines in just right, it's like stained glass. Very Florida feeling place. The food was amazing! Huevos rancheros was light and fresh with a flight of hot sauces to pair it. Eggs Benedicts were all good! The service was friendly from the moment you walked in. Our server was cheerful and attentive. Parking is covered when you eat here - validate at the end.

Yelp
I went to Hatch during a bachelorette party in FLL. The staff gave us matching yellow sunglasses for the occasion. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. They have gluten free options as well. The parking can be a little confusing but there is parking available in the parking garage behind. Don't park in the lot next to North Italia or they will tow you. The garage is completely free for Hatch customers!

Yelp
I enjoyed my meal, the wait can get long so pack patience. The setup outside is a nice distraction from the wait, you can play a game or two, have some water and chat while you wait for your table.
