"Hatchways Café, a new cafe for health-conscious casual fare and takeaway meals, has just opened in Victory Park. It offers a menu with a healthy spin on internationally influenced cuisine, featuring whole grains, flavonoid-rich fruits and vegetables, and options for vegans, vegetarians, and those with food allergies and gluten intolerance. Menu items include pastries, breakfast burritos, breakfast sandwiches, power bowls, salads, and sandwiches. Dallas’ Full City Rooster supplies the coffee. The cafe is open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and all menu items can be ordered online and delivered to the adjacent Hatchways Workspace." - Alaena Hostetter

We ordered from here today for lunch, and had it delivered. We had 6 people order, all different meals. Everybody’s order was correct nothing messed up or missing. All the ingredients look fresh and also taste fresh, no issues. I ordered the BBQ Chicken Flatbread. The presentation of it was great even being delivered. The chicken was cooked very good not dry at all, the BBQ sauce was good, and the fresh jalapeños had a nice crunch and were very good as well. This is the first time any of use have tried this place. No one in my group had anything negative to say about their lunch. I definitely recommend and we will eat here again!

I’ve had several of the salads. Favorite *was* steak chimmichurri. Today, though, enjoying chicken kale salad. So delicious. Service is great.

We absolutely enjoyed our visit to this little cafe on the corner! Our food was incredible! My fried egg BLT came out within minutes of ordering, but 2 other tables were served food before my husbands shake came out. That was a little confusing, but at least the flavor was worth the wait!

I’ve had hatchways cafe twice in the month I’ve lived in victory park. I love having it walking distance when I work from home. They have mostly breakfast items, whole food based and the best berry smoothie (add protein powder). I wish they included more salsa for their harvest bowl and burritos, and open on weekends!

Google
Noisy. Not the best place to work just because of how busy it can get. It looks really nice though. There’s some nice workspaces going towards the restroom from the restaurant. Loved the monkey bread and the roasted chicken sandwich!!!

Martin Gilbert

Google
If you look at the back of the restaurant, you’ll notice that they don’t wear gloves. You can see them simply touching everything and then touching the food.

I live across the street and come often. Food is good, fresh and made to order. Coffee is great! I use wish they were open on the weekends!

Google
I ordered two hot-smoked salmon wraps and both came with avocados in it, I even double checked the menu to see if was my mistake. The salmon also came with bones. When I asked them why there was avocado in the wrap, they told me that they added it but wouldn’t charged it (?), then I asked to please remove it because I didn’t want it, and they looked at me as if wasn’t my right to do so… Awful experience.

Yelp
Convent, reasonable price for breakfast and lunch. Share space + conference room. Dogs friendly, high ceiling, great interior designs

Yelp
I absolutely love Hatchway's. I've had it multiple times over the last two months since discovering it. The only healthy options in victory park. Breakfast burrito, harvest bowl, Southwest bowl, smoothies are all delicious and whole ingredients. Coffee options are a nice touch, Rise N Shine is a sweeter drink I like to order!

Yelp
Everybody's off work on Columbus Day!! Not too crowded on my very first visit to Hatchways Cafe at Dallas' Victory Park!! I've tried the All-Day Egg Sandwich for breakfast!!

Peter Christian P.

Yelp
Affordable, cozy, and healthy. I'm sitting here on a rainy day doing some work on a business trip and loving the vibe here, especially the shoegaze music they're playing.

Terry E.

Yelp
Really into the bright cheery yellow color here. I think the guy working the counter was having a really hard day bc I felt like he hated me and everyone else in line. The overnight oats are here were incredible. And I loved the smoothie I got too. Idk the name... I was literally so anxious around the guy at the counter I was just like, "Yah I'll take the first one" ... but hey, it was delicious! So it all worked out perfectly!

Yelp
Nice, clean cafe to grab a bite and a coffee or smoothie. The migas I had were decent and the lavender latte was good. Everything is well presented and the service was good. The cafe is connected to what looks like a nice co-working space. There is WiFi separate from the co-working WiFi - you have to get the password from the cashier.

Yelp
I absolutely love hatchways café! The spot is walking distance from my job and gives me great healthy options. I would highly recommend the warm greens and grains with added avocado. The service is a top notch, the food is deliciously healthy, and they also have a special every Friday from 2 to 4. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a quick bite while trying to remain conscious of what you are eating. The only downfall and recommendation I would give this place is to provide nutritional facts of things that are on the menu. However the vibe is extremely inviting! I love how bright and green this place is. They also have free Wi-Fi and it's a great workspace

Yelp
The place was very nice but the flatbread was cold I got the bbq. I'm pretty sure chicken shouldn't be cold but if that's how they serve it okay lol.

Faz K.

Yelp
Took a walk during lunch today and ended up here. Not a bad find at all. As i type i am enjoying a delicious bbq chicken flat bread and a slightly sweetened cold brew. The flat bread was delicious. Generous portions of chicken along with other ingredients and a not overly sweet bbq sauce joined forces with totally awesome bread to form yummatron bbq bread. (just go with it). Speaking of the bread... Dat bread! Not very flat as it is wavy which makes for a playful bite, it gets the "crunchy" right. It comes armed with appropriate levels of sound effects and its nit going to scratch up your mouth while delivering a satisfying level of resistance to your teeth as they sink in. I hope its nit a fluke because i am coming back for this bite! The cold brew was/is pretty cool as well. Generally the place has a cool vibe. Upbeat decor inside and prices are reasonable. Worth a visit if you have not been.

Yelp
SUMMARY: Wife had a pop up show on Saturday when they're not open. Owners had a pop up stand right in front of their restaurant w/ coffee, pastries, snacks, and juice. We appreciated that they set up shop! BACKGROUND: We were doing a pop up show this weekend and needed to get some coffee and a snack. I took a walk down to Starbucks but the SB is one of those app only ordering places and "ain't nah body got time for dat", especially me when I want coffee NOW! FOOD AND DRINKS I got a hot coffee, banana bread, and a canned water. Coffee was hot but a little weaker than I'm used to, but still good. The banana bread was pretty awesome...so awesome in fact that my wife smashed that banana bread like nobody's business. Here's the kicker: she doesn't like banana bread! Later we got two bottles of one of their fresh squeezed juices. It had beets, carrots, ginger, etc. in it. While it was your typical price for fresh squeezed juice, it was worth it. Really nice balance of all ingredients and not too heavy on the ginger. RETURN VISIT? Yes, if we return to the area for a show, we'll patronize them again.

Frances E.

Yelp
Had an iced latte and the all day egg sandwich! Was good and fine for the time I was working there. Great place to be on my laptop working for the day. It's cheery with some great music playing throughout. Recommend it if you're in the area and need a place to work/study.

Sarah B.

Yelp
Great cafe! Love to go here and work. Also super great value -- always a breakfast special where you can get breakfast food & a coffee for like $8 or so. Good atmosphere as well! Tons of natural light. Only subtracting one star because the food service has been pretty slow every time I've gone. Not a huge deal because I usually go to sit and work so I'm there for awhile, but if it were quicker, I'd go more often to grab & go.

Ciara A.

Yelp
I wrote a bad review on this company before. But you have two male baristas who are kind and make my morning! The menu changed a bit but I love the new toast and hope you expand your lunch menu!

L. E.

Yelp
This review is for the egg white quiche and banana loaf. Both of them used to taste very good but I can no longer say that. The quiche was all cheese! There was absolutely no egg that I could taste. The banana loaf tasted stale. So disappointing. I've tried to like this place since I live so close. But I give up.

Devina C.

Yelp
Egg sandwich- just order it. Perfection. The breakfast burrito is good healthier option if you like burrito. Both were great but egg sandwich. So good!

Yelp
WELCOME SPACE CAMP @ HATCHWAYS. And no. Bezo's did not design this amazing work space. I could write a novel on how stellar Hatchway is and how professional everyone is on a daily basis - let alone how utterly tasty their cafe is...try their soft serve ice cream. It's legendary. I have recruited a few friends of mine to join and they could not be more happy with their decision to switch from their "other" work space. The look and feel is that of mid-century design meets The Jetsons. Private sound proof pods, sound proof glass telephone booths, 30ft ceilings, perfect temperature control, mini bar in cafe, war rooms with write-on walls, private conference rooms (sounds proof and incased in glass). Herman Miller inspired sitting areas paired with greenery from another solar system. Copy machine, FedEx and every computer accessory, charger and dongle a person could want. Parking is incredibly easy and budget conscience. $25 per month for unlimited or validation for first two hours. The Hatchways team is seamless in their operations and stellar membership services. Most importantly, they have phenomenal attitudes and the most earnest personalities. The crew is comprised of Taryn, Brenda, Chelsea, Alex, Patrick, Nathan, Gabe, Sylvia, Nancy, Jeremiah, Jose, Tristan Simon (founder/owner of Hatchways and Billy Can Can) and lastly...the fearless leader and Hatchways Captain, Lila the French Bull Dog.

Yelp
We dropped in on day two when we saw the 'soft opening' signs on the doors the night before. I've been anxiously awaiting this addition to Victory Park and I'm disappointed to say I wasn't impressed. My turkey avocado sandwich was good, but the bread was dense and hard. The bread actually would scrape the top of my mouth as I was eating and it wasn't pleasant. I will say, however, for such a small sandwich it was very filling. It's just hard for me to pay $9 for a single sandwich on a plate. I think I would've rather seen a meal option for $11 that came with chips or something. The egg sandwich was better than the turkey avocado, but I wouldn't say it's anything to write home about. All in all, once the work spaces are open I'm sure it'll be a great hang out place, but the food is simply not meeting the price point at the moment. I'll be curious to see how this place evolves.

Yelp
I had the avocado toast and coconut limeade...best breakfast I've had in years. All fresh and natural ingredients. I added one egg to the toast dish and it turned into a very hearty and fulfilling meal...didn't eat again until dinner. The atmosphere at this place is bright, flooded with natural light and warm vibes. Such a special spot!

Hanna J.

Yelp
Huge fan of this all-day cafe! First off it is such a gorgeous space. The cafe is bright and friendly, with plenty of seating options including booths. The menu is really easy to read and understand and has such great unique breakfast items. I recommend the "Bowl of Goodness" because that is exactly what it is. And you must try the lemon loaf...it was the best pastry I've had in awhile, but not too sweet! Pairs really well with their drip coffee which was really good! A lot of cafes that offer breakfast/lunch fail to deliver on the coffee but no complaints here. If you're able to take a tour of the coworking space you must... had me saying "oh my god" so many times due to how comfortable, inviting and beautiful the space is. If I lived in Dallas I would consider getting a membership here because wowwww. Highly recommend this spot for someone who needs a space to work for a morning or forever!

Bee D.

Yelp
I have been wanting to come here but I'm usually in a hurry and just passing by. This morning, my sister and I stopped by. We ordered and the food was great. It was tasty and very filling. I got the toast with fruit preserves, chai tea with oat milk, and the veggie chips. My sister ordered the turkey sandwich, chips, and a Dr. Pepper. We both enjoyed the food and were satisfied. The decor was bright but sweet. Very clean and welcoming. The staff member that took our order was very nice and so awesome. We're definitely happy we stopped by and will be coming back.

Yelp
So impressed with my experience just now. My mom and aunt were visiting and we just happened in looking for a quick bit to eat. Andrew who was working was so informative about everything, incredibly personal and accommodating. The food was then equally as good. I ordered the flatbread which I HIGHLY recommend. Great ambiance. Super clean. Def check this place out.

Mike M.

Yelp
I order the salmon toast I was not expecting this unless flavor the price is good but I think the food is too plain for the price and the area. Coffee was super great. Staff was eating in from of the clients as well

Hannah N.

Yelp
Just had their menu of the day (tofu fried rice) and I was skeptical but it's actually so compact with flavor and just the right amount of spices. It's got quinoa in it so it's super filling. I got the rise & shine coffee which is their cold brew with oat milk and honey. I like my lattes a bit more creamy so I added a splash of half&half and it's now my new fave. Their honey vanilla latte is so good too. Great coffee spot and such a comfortable place to chill. Staff is so welcoming every time. This place is the best spot for a fast, healthy and surprisingly flavorful lunch.

Francesca S.

Yelp
I work right across the street from here and go all the time for lunch or a coffee. The staff is incredibly friendly, the food options are healthy and fresh, and the interior is beautiful and bright. I love the yellow seats and different bright shades of tile. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that it's a little pricey for what it offers, but still would recommend! Haven't been to the study cubbies yet but if you're a student this is an amazing alternative to Starbucks and around the same price range. Also I'm a photographer so this is a great photography location to add to the dallas list!

Nancy R.

Yelp
Great place for a healthy lunch after working out across the street at Orange Theory. Coffee, tea. Sparkling water and alcohol choices. The food is fresh and light. There are vegan, vegetarian and carnivore options. The warm roast beef sandwich I ordered, as a carnivore, came with a delightful salad and pickled garnish. So good on a cold, rainy day in Dallas. Highly recommend for a great pick me up food.

Paige H.

Yelp
Great service. Great food. Great coffee. We had the special, farmers porridge. So yummy! Easy to give this place 5 stars!

Jennifer J.

Yelp
Great lunch spot near One Victorian Park. I love all the vegan options, such as the creamy mushroom soup, which hit the spot on a colder Jan day. I also tried the salmon toast, and that was absolutely delicious.

Alli M.

Yelp
I was really excited for a cafe to open in Victory Park and was eager to try it. After reading articles about the conception of the work space foodie cafe I went in today and unfortunately was disappointed. The space is beautiful and the service was great, however, I paid $11 for a small sandwich and $7 for a yuzu iced tea?? $7????? The sandwich was good, and the pickled vegetables on the side were excellent, however the sandwich was grossly overpriced to not come with a side salad, chips, or more veggies. I would give this place 5 stars if they rethink their pricing or hopefully add sides to their small sandwiches

Johnathan C.

Yelp
This place is delicious and the prices are reasonable. I'm so glad it's in my neighborhood! The staff are extremely friendly too.

Ronsurf ..

Yelp
This is a very delicious place to grab breakfast, lunch or dinner. Great casual atmosphere to dine in, or for pick up. I live in the W, so it's a very convenient stop for me and I pick up regularly. Healthy but delicious options, which is hard to fine. I highly recommend.

Aldyn T.

Yelp
So disappointed in this place - it had so much potential. I have tried ordering an almond milk iced latte twice from the cafe, thinking the first time was a fluke. Both times the latte was terrible. Not only does the almond milk have a strange afterward taste, but the beans just do not taste good to me. Strangely bitter and artificial. Also - the prepared lunch bowls are fine but extremely overpriced. Sadly I will not be returning. Seems like the perfect place to grab a coffee and work.

Lue B.

Yelp
This place is a vegan heaven! There are plenty of options for meat eaters and vegans alike, but having items with this in mind was impressive. Their gluten free scone is AMAZING. My favorite salad is the Power Greens and Chinese Chicken Crunch, sans chicken The staff is super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and their coffee is from Full City Rooster - amazing. Must try in Victory Park!

Josh D.

Yelp
First off the service was great. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is very modern and sleek looking. Unfortunately the food is only ok. For the price and size definitely not worth it IMO. Kinda disappointed that food was subpar had higher hopes for this place.

Lawrence L.

Yelp
Staff is very friendly and the food is great. This cafe is a perfect fit for victory park. They are always putting the customer first.

Jake D.

Yelp
I come here at least twice a week for lunch because I work down here and I have not gotten sick of it whatsoever. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The food is mindblowing for the cost. I pay double for worse quality food at other restaurants in the area. Seems like they do a good job of serving seasonal items and changing things out which is also good. I love it!

Lizzie C.

Yelp
Head to Hatchways Cafe for gluten-free pastries or hot egg sandwiches for breakfast. Then stay and work until lunch! Hatchways isn't just a chef-driven cafe; it's also a co-working space. (You don't have to be a member to order from the cafe; although their sleek offices may entice you to sign up.) Hatchways' specialty is healthy fare to fuel your workday. The veggie-based "Bowl of Goodness"-- a poached egg on spinach, avocado, mushroom "chorizo," and crispy rice-- is a favorite for good reason.

Walter M.

Yelp
Defines co-working+food in the middle of Victory Park. Really reasonably priced for day pass or monthly membership, a space that is actually designed to allow you to work (instead of hang out and pretend work), and food that feels restorative. The staff are super helpful but low-key and unobtrusive. And the private work pods are almost scary private/quiet. So...real work, real food, real cool and real bargain.

Dustin L.

Yelp
Great new addition to Victory Park for coffee, tea, breakfast or lunch. They have healthy options in a beautiful space. The team working there are friendly and always accommodating. Highly recommend it just for coffee or a meal. They also have a gorgeous coworking space. Great addition to Victory Park.

Christina S.

Yelp
The food is light, great tasting, and simple. There are a variety of pastries offered tended to anyone with dietary restrictions. I found this cafe a great place for studying even when the co-working spaces next door haven't opened up yet. Great music, just waiting for the free WiFi to kick in once it is fully opened. I'll be back!
