On Location: Netflix's ‘Rebecca’ Takes Viewers from Monte Carlo to Cornwall
"Our main interiors were shot at Hatfield House near London, and interestingly both of those houses are owned by the same family, the Salisburys, who were once the right hands of Elizabeth I."
Where Is ‘My Oxford Year’ Filmed? The Filming Locations Behind the New Netflix Romcom
Introduced as Jamie’s family home, this lavish 17th-century Hertfordshire estate is portrayed as a showy, Saltburn-esque property with sprawling gardens, chequered-floored galleries and armouries, and a labyrinthine wine cellar. Its screen pedigree is emphasised through mentions of its use as a filming location for Batman, Sherlock Holmes, Paddington, Bridgerton, The Crown, Enola Holmes and even MasterChef Australia, reinforcing its image as an opulent, cinematic mansion. - Shaurya Thapa

"This Hertfordshire landmark is celebrated for its immaculately preserved Jacobean architecture and perfectly manicured gardens, and was used in the period drama as the interiors of the Featherington family home as well as for garden scenes and the aristocratic gentlemen’s club." - Vanessa Tai
What a wonderful place this is to visit, especially if you're a history lover or architecture enthusiast!
I absolutely adored the rambling Gardens with a choice of different length walks, the cafe was very relaxed with a range of food and drinks but the highlight for me was the incredible tour of the old Elizabethan building by very knowledgeable and friendly Dermot! What a pleasure it was to enjoy such an in depth and interesting talk by such an experienced gentleman.
We would definitely visit again!!

Lovely garden , they had a lovely Christmas market there, but you have to pay entry which isn't bad, the garden side was lovely, a lot of walking if you like hiking , best to wear hiking boots

Would absolutely recommend Hatfield House and a tour with Dermot! His knowledge and enthusiasm was outstanding, myself and my daughter could have listened to him all day, the grounds are vast and very tranquil, I will be coming back for another visit and look forward to meeting Dermot and the lovely ladies at the ticket kiosk

Visited the gardens only. Some of the most beautifully curated public gardens in SE England. Very lucky to be able to visit the East Garden which is only open to the public on certain Wednesdays. Some nice woodland walks as well although I would have to say that these aren't fantastically signposted.

It was very lovely place to visit. Free parking and only short walk to the house and gardens. Very brilliant, smiley and pleasant people work there, it was not a problem for them to help us use the lift a few times,so thank you.! It makes the visit so much easier and nicer.
It's not easy to get around everywhere if you have a buggy or especially the walker..
Very recommend this place to visit!

This house surpassed my expectations. Every room was steeped in history. The docents provided so very interesting historical tidbits in each room, as well. Highly recommended!
