The Fort Worth cult favorite’s Frisco outpost serves crisp nori, warm rice, and pristine fish one roll at a time. Added to Eater Dallas’s Frisco essentials, it’s a precise, minimalist counter experience that rewards patience and seasonality.

This place is by far the best sushi spot in North Dallas. The fish is incredibly fresh and literally melts in your mouth. The staff is AMAZING — so attentive, personable, and always ready with great recommendations. It’s hands down the best quality fish I’ve had since moving to Texas. I’m always counting down to Fridays, aka Hatsuyuki Day!~Jackie

LOVED everything about this experience. The check in was so simple, even though they don’t take reservations. They set the expectation of 15 minutes and were on point on timing. I’m a huge fan of under promising and over delivering, so the fact the table was ready in the span of the time frame they set made it so nice. The food. PHENOMENAL. They had so many options on the board, and we wanted to try them all. You can tell that they get fish, daily. The quality was fantastic. The prices, for the quality, were 100% worth it. The environment was intimate and the service was wonderful. The salmon truffle was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. GO HERE. ASAP!

I was on my way back from Oklahoma, and decided to swing by and say hi to Jun but he was off on Wednesday ): It was our first time here at this location, and I love the different concept they've applied to this location. They've added some tables to accommodate larger groups and added more modern interior architecture. The service and food maintained the same great level of quality as the first location. Jason was our server, he was very friendly. Alfredo was our chef, glad we got to see him again! We didn't order as much this time since we had just ate, but we will be back soon!

My friend drove up from Houston and we met up here because she loved the FW location. Ever since moving from Houston, I’ve been wanting to find a good sushi and spot, and this was it. Service from the chefs and from the wait staff were so kind and amazing. The restaurant was super clean and minimalistic vibes, I loved it! My favorite was the scallop with chop toro and chutoro. Will be coming back soon!!

You have no idea how long I've been waiting for this Frisco location to open! The day I saw the sign go up, I drove straight there after work to take a photo and added the listing on Google. Since then, I've been passing by three times a week to check on the status. I love Hatsuyuki, but driving an hour to Fort Worth for sushi is nearly impossible! We only visit on special occasions like anniversaries and birthdays, but now that they’re closer, I plan to go twice a month! My friend told me she stumbled upon their first day by accident (Tuesday, 4/1), and I knew I had to go right away before they officially announced their opening. When I arrived around 5:45 PM, the parking lot was completely empty—a rare sight, especially considering the usual 1–2 hour wait at the Fort Worth location. I came straight after work and was seated immediately. The waiter mentioned that they’re currently in their soft opening, mainly for friends and family, but they’re also accepting walk-ins. I ordered three hand rolls and a couple of their specialties. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious—each bite was so good, it almost made me teary. My favorites were the shima aji, chutoro, and gindara. The Hokkaido scallop was just okay; I wasn’t a fan of how much they had sliced it up. Their hand rolls were packed with fish and made great fillers if you're not looking to spend $100+. I'm SO HAPPY they’re closer, and the quality is just as amazing. The fish is top-tier, the chefs are friendly, and the waitstaff is great. They have a bar area like the original location, along with three small tables for dine-in. I really appreciate the chef’s attention to detail—carefully crafting each piece and waiting for me to finish one before preparing the next. I'm going to savor the peace and quiet before the 2+ hour waits inevitably start. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for bringing the best sushi to North Dallas.

Stopped by Hatsuyuki Frisco this past Sunday with a party of 4 and waited about 35 minutes to get seated at the sushi bar! We've loved the Fort Worth location for many years (as well as Naminohana, run by HFW alum) so we were excited to hear last week that the new Frisco location was doing a soft opening. Staff were very attentive even before we sat down to eat; the host who added our name to the waitlist asked if we'd rather sit at the bar or a table when seats opened up, and also recommended that we walk over to the specials bar to take a photo so we could decide what we wanted to order. When the waiting time was up we were led to the furthest end of the bar right next to the board. My husband and I ordered several sashimi dishes to share and a bunch of the more interesting/less common nigiri, as well as some old favorites. Our favorites of the day were the kanpachi sashimi with ume pesto (fish was so fresh and the extra textural and flavor additions were unique and delicious), the sawara nigiri, which came topped with some garlic chips and scallions, and the perfectly seared engawa nigiri. I second another review that mentioned the rice was a tad mushy; I think that's something they can improve as they work through their first few weeks open. The hand rolls were excellent as usual, and my husband who usually doesn't like ankimo really enjoyed that hand roll. The gindara nigiri, salmon belly nigiri, and anago nigiri were all torched to perfection as well. Can't wait to come back in the future and so glad that a Hatsuyuki location is so much closer to us now!

Google
Each piece of fish was so soft, succulent, and full of flavor that made me stop and take some time to process how freaking delicious what just melted in my mouth was. The ambiance and service were both tremendous. Was it cheap? No, but you don’t want cheap sushi. Best sushi I have had in the United States, and I’ve had a lot.

Google
Came here for a date night on a Saturday and despite waiting nearly 40 minutes, we definitely enjoyed our experience and our dinner. The quality of each dish was immaculate, with our favorite being the salmon with truffle ponzu! I recommend getting one of the handroll sets too. For the quality, I definitely think the price was reasonable. I also want to point out how sweet the waitress and chefs were. The waitress even let me know there was a hook under the table for my bag, which was much appreciated. I can’t wait to go back!

Yelp
I usually go to the Fort Worth location so this was my first time at this location. The setup is similar, though unlike Fort Worth, we couldn't see the sushi being made from our seats, which is part of the fun. Still everything was excellent! The hand rolls never disappoint. I had my usual five handroll plus extra crab and yellowtail hand rolls along with sashimi. The owner was there too, very friendly and welcoming. Overall, a great visit! p.s. I have also done a couple of to-go orders from there but it's definitely better dining in. The experience and freshness make a big difference.

Yelp
We showed up at 6:10 on a Saturday night with no reservation--luck was on our side. The place was already humming, every table taken, yet a pair of seats at the sushi bar opened like they'd been waiting for us. Four minutes, maybe less, and we were seated. I should've taken a photo of the menu board, but the food photos will tell the story. We were up against time to make a movie, so this was a hit-and-run dinner, not the full exploration the place probably deserves. Still, what we had was enough to make us want to come back. The fish was fresh and handled with respect. Sashimi, sushi, hand rolls--all solid, no wasted motion, nothing overworked. The kind of straightforward, confident sushi that makes you stop talking mid-bite. Only two gripes: 1. Portions were on the small side. 2. No liquor license. Beer, wine, sake--they pour what they can, but sometimes you want a real drink with your fish. The space is low-lit and intimate without trying too hard. Small handful of tables. Clean lines, clean floors, and service that knows their stuff without being overbearing. We left satisfied. We'll be back--and next time, if they have liquor, we'll stay longer.

Yelp
Tried this sushi spot for the first time and really enjoyed it. I ordered the 4 hand roll combo and ate at the sushi bar. It was definitely the way to go. The ambiance was cozy and darkly lit, which made it feel intimate and relaxed. Service was on point!! I wish I got the gentleman's name who helped our table yesterday, since he was fantastic. The place is on the smaller side, so I can see it getting packed on busy nights, but that just adds to the vibe. The hand rolls were fresh and flavorful, and I liked the pace they were served at. They also had a solid selection of Japanese beers, which paired perfectly with the food. Pricing felt fair for the quality. Definitely a spot I'd come back to, especially for a chill night out or quick sushi fix.

Yelp
This is hands down the best sushi I've had in the states, and it absolutely rivals some of the sushi I've enjoyed in Japan! Come early to avoid having to wait forever, and get ready for a phenomenal meal :) My fiance and I arrived a little after 5:30pm on a Saturday and we ended up waiting just over half an hour before being seated. FYI folks who arrived closer to 6pm were told the wait would be well over an hour. We were seated at the sushi bar so we had a great view of the chefs at work. Their daily menu is on a chalkboard, and then they also have their regular menu (with the hand rolls). You get a sheet of paper with the regular menu and a big blank space for you to write in any of the daily specials that you want off of the chalkboard. We opted for the 5 hand-roll set to share, and then we ordered a bunch of different items off of the chalkboard menu. I really appreciated that they split the hand rolls in half for the two of us so we weren't having to bite and share one big hand roll each time. While the hand rolls were delicious and great quality, what really shined for me was the daily specials! Almost everything we tried was fantastic and tasted so fresh; you really can't go wrong.

Yelp
We ordered the 4-roll combo, which came with yellowtail, crab, salmon, and bay scallops. All were incredibly fresh and flavorful. We also added an amaebi nigiri and it was so sweet and yummy. The hand rolls were served quickly and perfectly wrapped, which kept the seaweed nice and crisp. The restaurant has a clean, modern vibe with plenty of seating, so we didn't feel cramped at all. Our waiter was super attentive, friendly, and made sure everything came out smoothly.

Yelp
The best Handroll Bar in town! It was so good that I went there twice in a month and that's a rarity since I usually don't visit restaurants for years in between. When you sit down, they'll give you a piece of paper and pencil. Take a picture of the blackboard so you can figure out what you want to eat. Note that some lines have two different selections. Su means sushi, Sa means sashimi, and HR means handroll (prices differ depending on your selection). Don't be shy to ask the server questions as they're super accommodating. The service was a hit or miss. We sat at the bar during lunch on a Saturday and the service was fast, but sitting at a table during dinner on a Monday was extremely slow. The sushi is incredibly expensive, but the quality is spectacular so you really get what you pay for. My suggestion is to get the 5 combo handrolls (best value) and at least three of the Hagashi Toro sushi ($15 each). Scatter in some sashimi and try the unfiltered sake. Always ask for recommendations for the server as they have not steered me wrong. This place is great for impressing people like a date or a client.

Yelp
Everything was perfect and delicious! I love this location, it bigger, brighter and the staff was super friendly. Check out photos below, I tried to label them the best I could.

Yelp
Walk-in's only! Had about an hour wait on a Saturday evening. Luckily there were other restaurants near by that we could get a drink at and some small apps for the time being. Once we got the text that the table was ready, we were able to get seated right away. There are bar seating as well, but we got seated at a table. Started off with the 5-hand roll set which included Yellow Tail, Bay Scallop, Crab, Lobster and Salmon. All of the fish were pretty fresh and tasty. No wasabi on the inside of the roll which I appreciated. The Lobster hand roll was my favorite, tasty and sweet/juicy lobster meat. To add on, we also got miso soup, Hamachili (flavorful), Engawa, Salmon Belly (so fatty), Toro Handroll and Scallop w/ Chopped Toro (also one of my favorite nigiri pieces). They change up their menu daily, so plenty of options to choose from. The waitress was knowledgeable and made great recommendations. Parking - Free within the plaza Overall, good quality and affordable.

Yelp
I have no words. I thought I already had a good idea of how good sushi could be in DFW, having frequented Naminohana and Uchi in town. But holy smokes Hatsuyuki blows everything out of the water. The quality and flavors of every single roll and piece was absolutely incomparable. I still salivate just thinking about the seared salmon and scallop bites. No reservations, have to wait in line. They have some table seating in addition to the counter. Definitely worth the price tag

Yelp
If you haven't tried this place, you're missing out. They don't take reservations so plan around a wait time depending on what day/time you go. All I can say is that the wait will be worth it. The interior of the restaurant is clean and decorated well. We started with a couple appetizers (salmon and yellowtail sashimi and salmon belly sushi). I ended up getting the 5 handroll combo and was extremely satisfied. My favorite was the yellowtail. All of the plates were extremely fresh and delicious.

Yelp
This is such an affordable and delicious handroll bar. I love their options for each of the handroll sets because I'm not a fan of tuna that's not otoro or toro, and thank God that all of their handroll sets have my favorite fish options! Their nigiri pieces are actually quite affordable and are also of super high quality. I will say that one of their waitresses gave my friend and I a ton of anxiety by coming up to us probably 8 times throughout our one-hour visit. I appreciate the service but there's only so many times we can say that we're good before we want to be left alone. Regardless, I'm so glad that Hatsuyuki came to Frisco!

Yelp
I just wanted to rave about the salmon belly ! Just wow so fresh with the perfect balanced sauce that they pair it with. All sushi was pretty fresh and tasty but my favorite with the salmon belly, chutoro, and I loved their spicy tuna hand roll with shrimp katsu. The ambiance is nice but small so I can see how this place gets packed pretty quickly. I came on a weekday after the rush 8 pm and there was no wait. Apparently on the weekends people are lined up out the door to get in. Nice to have another quality sushi place and the pricing is very reasonable. They have beer, sake and wine- no liquor option or bar. Can't wait to come back. Special shout out to José that walked me through the menu options and made great recommendations.

Yelp
Hatsuyuki just moved to Frisco and honestly... this might be the best thing to happen to my stomach all year. Finally, high-quality handrolls this close to home? Dangerous. Every roll is made right in front of you, and the seaweed is so crispy it practically snaps when you bite into it. The fish? So fresh it probably had plans before ending up on my plate. Omakase is the way to go being quick, fun, and zero decision stress. 10/10 would roll up again.

Yelp
I ordered the 5 Handroll Combo and was really impressed. Every roll was fresh and flavorful, but the crab handroll was easily the standout. The handroll and sushi were perfectly seasoned and just the right texture. The Hagashi Toro was also excellent, buttery and rich without being overwhelming. The overall experience was better than my recent visits to Uchi Dallas, which says a lot. recommend if you're looking for top-tier handrolls in a relaxed setting. Oh and there is a bag hanger underneath the bar. Definitely coming back again.

Yelp
Solid choice to get fresh sushi. I've been to the one in Fort Worth a couple years ago and I was excited to see that they opened another location in Frisco. My husband and I visited on Sunday evening and luckily we were seated at the bar in 10 minutes. They had also had tables available right away but since we love interacting with chefs and watching the sushi making process, we asked to wait to sit at the bar. The sushi was good, fish was fresh, and I loved that they focused on the fish itself, not overwhelm the fish with sauce or decorations. I did wish the rice texture was less mushy but overall everything was very tasty. Hand rolls were great too. The service was great - hot green tea that we ordered or topped off timely and we got a plenty of attention from the server. Their ordering system is very convenient - you look at today's fish menu on the board and write down what you want on a piece of paper and hand it to the server. However, the writing on the board was tiny! I think they should have an extra board for people farther away or do something about it. Overall, very happy with the experience and so glad we're getting more and more sushi places in north Dallas.

Yelp
I have been to the Ft. Worth location 2x and this new location 2x. Can honestly say they completely recreated the vibe and quality of the original location. Best sushi in Frisco, also the hand roll specials are a great value for lunch. Get there when they open or be ready to wait it's very small with minimal seating.
google avatar

Genevieve M.

Yelp
So happy Hatsuyuki has opened this second location! Feels a bit bigger than their Fort Worth one. My favorite item is the salmon belly nigiri, it's sooo good torched! All their handrolls are very tasty.

Yelp
Finally another location!! I no longer have to go all the way to Fort Worth!! Also we went around 12pm on a Saturday and NO WAIT. The restaurant seating is set up with high bar, low seats, not like FTW. I don't mind it but I also don't get to see the chefs work. They also have table setting available as well. Food quality is just as good! Maybe a little better? They did just open so will have to see if its consistent. Overall, just happy to have a closer location to go to!
google avatar

Trudy C.

Yelp
I honestly could not even begin to try and remember what we ate. Most of the stuff I can't even pronounce correctly! However, this place is the best hand roll restaurant in all of DFW, hands-down! It was so good. I forgot to take photos as we got our food. Only got the first few. The restaurant delivers fresh food for every single bite. So as soon as they are done with anything they deliver straight to you. The restaurant is very small, so please plan accordingly. Their menu does change according to seasonal fish availability. But you can't go wrong with anything! In addition to the food being delicious, the ambience and service is top-notch. I have never had an unpleasant experience. This place is very expensive, however, so keep that in mind and don't go starving. We easily spend close to $200 between two people every time we go and this is without drinks. But the food is totally worth it!

Yelp
We first visited their Fort Worth location and loved it. When they opened the location in Frisco, definitely didn't take long for us to go by. It was equally amazing. I personally loved their recommendations and my teenager, who just came out of a surgery that morning, ordered their truffle salmon sashimi like 5 times. Love sitting at the sushi bar.

Yelp
I'm so glad Hatsuyuki has opened a new location outside of Fort Worth. The quality and taste were exactly how I remembered--fresh, consistent, and well-executed. The service was also fantastic and they helped recommend some of their daily specials. I tried the four-handroll set along with a variety of nigiri from their daily specials. I particularly enjoyed the itoyori (golden snapper). Overall, everything was well-prepared and flavorful. I just came back from a trip to Japan and the flavors and quality reminded me of what I had there in addition to not having an exorbitant price tag like some places in the states. I do recommend coming early as it is extremely popular even though it only recently opened. I came on Friday right when they opened and there was already a significant line outside.
google avatar

Marianna G.

Yelp
This might be the best sushi I've had outside Japan. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed sitting at the bar, where we could watch the sushi chefs work with incredible precision--even using tweezers for the finest details. The highlight is undoubtedly the freshness of the fish and the exceptional craftsmanship. My top picks from the menu that evening were the spicy tuna hand roll and the yellowtail sushi.
google avatar

Jesse W.

Yelp
This place is fantastic, we went here to have a dinner and talk about our future. It was more about a dinner and if we were going to move closer to my wifes parents, and plans for our expected baby girl. Just to let you know, the service was fantastic, the ambiance was nice and dim. Super nice and romantic place, the seating was nice and spread out. We usually start off with something like edamame or a roll. This time was some edamame, and it was delicious. I really like the kosher salt, I mean it is such a huge bonus. I love my salts. As for rolls, we had the stereotypical rolls. Salmon, tuna, and the scallop roll. I don't think we have ever had bad sushi, just amazing sushi. Here was the same, just amazing presentations, and amazing rolls for dinner. I highly recommend coming here for some awesome sushi

Yelp
We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and it was packed. Although packed, we were seated quick and the host communicated effectively on how soon we would be seated. The food was high quality. We ordered the 4 handrolls as well as additional dishes such as the uni oysters, truffle salmon, and more. The uni oyster was one of my favorites. The restaurant gave off a cozy and high end ambience. I'm so glad I finally got to try a Hatsuyuki near me! I didn't get to sit at the bar this time, but hopefully i'll be able to next!

Yelp
Unbelievable food. Hard to describe in words. Fresh and delicious, each item a work of art. We arrived when they opened at 5pm, but when we left at 6:30pm there was a wait. A little loud but great ambiance. Unparalleled service, especially from Jose G. We will be back!

Yelp
I've been going to the fort worth location for 5+ years and was really excited to not have to drive all the way over there anymore, although I will miss seeing everyone that worked there. (Yuki :( )I think the owner Maria has brought the quality from fort worth over here as well as the prices. I think 17.5$ for 4 handrolls is a great deal and the quality of fish is really great. I usually will get the handroll special and then at least a salmon belly, then maybe a gindara. One of the things from fort worth I've yet to see on the menu here is the takuan toro handroll. I hope they bring that over here sometime! I've been here 3 times since they opened and the service has been really nice every time. This is my go to hand roll place on this side of town.

Yelp
I accidentally stumbled upon this place because I was in the area and just googled omakase near me. This place is fairly new and apparently there's another location elsewhere. The place is aesthetically pleasing, staff is nice, but the menu wasn't my favorite layout. This is just me being picky, but I had to write everything thing I ordered off the specials rather than just ordering with the waiter. Not a make or break, just not my favorite way to order. The fish quality here is very good and fresh. Price point is a tad higher than other omakase places I frequent but not too much higher. The options on the specialty menu are nice. There were a few things I tried for the first time. Unique flavor profiles for some dishes were really amazing and others were just decent. My favorite dish was probably the kanpachi with ume and the madai carpaccio. And all of the nigiri was excellent. The sushi chef that was serving all my food to me was very nice, he seemed to be one of the more experienced chefs there if not the owner/head chef. Everything came out in a timely fashion. I did luck up and get there right when there was only two tables and put my order in, because after 15 min the place was packed for lunch. You definitely will be spending money here if you have a sushi appetite like me but you can also dine for not too pricey of a tab if you stick to the basic handrolls and sushi menu. Location is great and I feel they will do great here, love that omakase style spots are opening up everywhere. If I'm ever back on this side of town I'll definitely go again.

Yelp
Amazing sushi, special meal. Definitely on par with the special Fort Worth location. Try the salmon sashimi. Yummy!

Yelp
I would drive almost an hour and a half to their Fort Worth location, so glad they opened one closer. I like that their Frisco location has tables to seat bigger groups and was able to accommodate our party of 5. Sushi was just as fresh and presentation was comparable to their FW location. I would highly recommend coming here before word gets out, they stay booked even without taking reservations.

Yelp
My husband and I dined in yesterday, on a Tuesday evening, and were sat quickly at a table. It is a smaller space so as this place gets popular I know the wait is going to be insane. We had our baby and stroller with us but they were accommodating. We have never been to the Fort Worth location but have heard the hype from friends and word of mouth so we had to try since Fort Worth is way to far for us. Oh my gosh, hands down the freshest nigiri, handrolls and sashimi I've ever had in Frisco and the surrounding cities. The quality blew my mind. More than that the staff was super attentive, always refilling our waters and taking our empty plates promptly. Our server took a picture of the today's specials menu for us on my phone because it is hard to read from afar with so many items. We met the manager there, Brian, very nice gentleman, and let him know how amazing the experience was. I would 10000% dine in before people find out what a hidden gem this is. We will come back and sit at the sushi bar next time so we can experience the liveliness of the chefs creating the sushi right in front of our eyes. I am already DREAMING of the food we had and will be back any day now for lunch. Hands down a must try spot. Some of our favorite items we would order again: 5 handroll (lobster, bay scallop, yellowtail, salmon and crab), oyster with red wine vinegar, uni plus "1", spotted prawn ebi, and the bluefin tuna Otoro!!

Yelp
Been to the Fort Worth one, today (Tuesday, not busy at all) visited the new one Hatsuyuki Handroll Bar Frisco, some kind of operating concept with hand written menu on board and a side Handroll menu, ordered Akame Sashimi, Hamachi sashimi, Salmon sashimi, Hirame Sashimi, Spanish Mackerel sashimi, AMA Ebi w Uni, Japanese Uni Roll, plus all the side rolls & ambiances, it's as quilting as the Fort Worth One, I am happy to give it a try! Service is attended & pay attention to details.

Yelp
My friend drove up from Houston and we met up here because she loved the FW location. Ever since moving from Houston, I've been wanting to find a good sushi and spot, and this was it. Service from the chefs and from the wait staff were so kind and amazing. The restaurant was super clean and minimalistic vibes, I loved it! My favorite was the scallop with chop toro and chutoro. Will be coming back soon!!

Yelp
My favorite sushi bar! I used to go to the fort worth location when we lived there, but frisco is much closer for us! Be prepared to go the minute before they open. I went one minute after they opened and it was already full. The service is fast, the quality of the food is top tier, and staff is very friendly. The food is so good i could go there every day!

Yelp
What a great new sushi place right here in Frisco. The large menu on the chalkboard was a bit overwhelming, but our sushi chef guided us to outstanding choices and quickly identified items matching photos which we showed to him. He also helped us to order just the right amount. Everything was impeccably fresh and spot on.

Yelp
my experience overall was great, Maria was super kind and very attentive. She explained everything from the menu and recommended her favorite ones! Our Chef was sweet and also made every dish to perfection. Ambience was nice, it was busy but didn't have a wait at all, my partner and I were seated at the bar! Food was great! We had 4 sashimi and 11 sushi(each). My favorite ones that literally melted in my mouth were: -Bluefin Otoro and the Chutoro (sushi) -Kanpachi w cherry blossom merinade (sushi) -Salmon w truffle ponzu(sashimi) But I enjoyed every sushi, sashimi, and oysters!! would go back again, and maybe this time I'll try the handrolls!

Yelp
We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon for lunch and we were immediately seated. I'm not kidding when I say it was the fastest service we have ever experienced - wasabi, ginger and waters were placed at our table within a minute of us sitting down. Our server gave us recommendations throughout our meal and all of our dishes came out within minutes. The fish was incredibly fresh and flavorful and everything was presented with precision and care. I'm so glad they opened a location in Frisco and this will definitely be a spot we visit regularly.

Yelp
This is our third visit, and we're still impressed. The service is always attentive, and the waitstaff is knowledgeable--especially on our first visit when they helped us choose dishes. The sushi is incredibly fresh, and the quality is always spot-on. Each experience has been top-notch, and we'll definitely be back for more!

We love this place so much! Fantastic hand rolls and service. Such a cool spot to go with limited seating all enjoying the greatness.

Yelp
It was great dining at Hatsuyuki! The only downside was the wait time, as they don't take reservations, so I deducted one star. Otherwise, the service was good and the sushi was excellent!

Yelp
Hands down the best sushi/sashimi you will have outside of Japan. Probably better than a lot that you would have even in Japan. Truly my favorite restaurant in the United States. It's beyond what you'd expect from anywhere in the US. Unreal. Steve there is the GOAT. Can't speak highly enough of this place and its staff.

Yelp
Daily specials listed on the blackboard are not to be missed - selection is unique and fish is high quality. Hand rolls are also good overall.

Yelp
Yep this place is awesome. I started with a 5 Hand roll set because they are delicious and a great value. Then I looked to the board to see if they had anything I haven't tried. I got the giant octopus (pretty good, not chewy like I thought it would be) red crab (torched) and a big reef squid and they were all delicious. Service is great. It's nice to have a real sushi place in the area. Also I really liked their hot saki set up. They had some of the best looking toro I have seen leaving the counter, but I didn't partake. Next time I will.

Yelp
The sushi was incredible! I highly recommend going with the chef's (Sean) picks. It was our first time here and every bite was delicious. The service was excellent. Heidi was knowledgeable about the fish and her recommendations were spot on. It's a small space but not too loud you can have an easy conversation.
