Hattie Jane's Creamery Donelson

The wonderful ladies serve up one mean Double Scoop. I had the Tennessee Strawberry stacked on top of a scoop of the signature Lavender Wildflower-Honey nestled in a waffle cone with Pecans and Whipped topping and it hit every taste bud just right. Basic strawberry then a splash of uniqueness. I was a little disappointed that the non-dairy options are all coconut based but I may be open minded enough to try those in the future.

I had hatties vanilla and cookie jar supreme. She introduced the best ice cream recommended for first time was the cookie jar supreme. To my surprise it made of vanilla as the base and the added Oreo and brownie pieces added the color and flavor making it appear to be chocolate but it isn't. The Hattie vanilla isn't my thing though. When you enter the ice cream front it smelled like cinnamon the whole time I learned its in the waffle cones that she was making. Try the cookie jar one way better! Thank you for the experience

The ice cream seemed pretty rich and natural. It was a good blend of both cream and ice. One scoop was satisfying to share. The cashier girl was friendly and served us with a smile!

Lily and Alison were so sweet and we got some good ice cream ! My daughter got vanilla,husband got chocolate and I got the honeycomb ! It was a great evening treat. Again the service was awesome and will be sure to return!

I frequent this spot often and Eric is AWESOME! Friendly and ready to offer suggestions and solutions. I remember wanting brownies on my ice cream and you all were out. He went and grabbed a packaged brownie and made magic happen with my sundae :) I love when an employer empowers their team to think, do, and provide excellent customer service

Super high quality ice cream, friendly service, nice atmosphere and decor. I'm glad I tried their generous milkshake! (and you can combine 2 flavors). My new favorite ice cream place in the Nashville area. They have another location in Assembly Food Hall right downtown.

Had the turtle brownie parfait with DF coffee coconut ice cream. It was delicious! I love seeing dairy free options at ice cream places (and more than just sherbert.) I will definitely be back.

Amazing small ice cream shop vibe. Great design / look + extra clean. Lilly was so nice and accommodating for my son and I + this was the best mint chocolate chip ice cream I've ever had!

The service was great, the ice cream was absolutely delicious, and the prices were perfect. It was nice and out of the way so we had parking and seats. Exactly what we were looking for.

#fatjared say... fat is in my name, and I went to an ice cream shop; it was perfect! Something awesome and unique about Hatties though, is even in a scoop they will five you a half scoop. So for a guy like me who loves tasting it was incredible! Obviously you get samples of everything you want prior, and if anyone needs any coaching on how to pair flavors in ice cream just let me know. I don't think there is a better combination available then what I created. You're welcome!! Great people, great menu, specials every day, fun music, and it's ice cream. Absolutely PERFECT experience. No complaints means it was perfect, and perfect means 5 stars. We'll be back, and I'll gladly lose years of my life for the honeycomb ice cream!!

For my first time being here, the locale seemed clean and the staff was friendly. I was immediately told I could try any flavor I wanted. Since there was no line, I tried about 4 flavors before choosing one called Chess [sic] Pies . The preparation of my smoothie was quick. I appreciated the quickness of it. The menu options seemed clear and varied. The prices are also shown so as to know what to expect when paying. Overall, it was a great first experience and I can't wait to come again for a second serving.

Hattie Jane's has my favorite cookie dough ice cream EVER! I love their Donelson location, even though the parking lot is a little tight. The workers are always kind and it always smells amazing in there. The Brown Sugar Cookie Dough is my favorite but I also like the Cookie Supreme. I bet they're all delicious!

The ice cream was amazing but we did go at a peak time. There was only one person working the counter and she was so overwhelmed. Please consider having more than one person. We stood in line for about 30 minutes.

Their ice cream is good! They let you try whatever flavors you want when you come in. I like every flavor I tried. My daughter got a Cookie Jar Supreme shake which was excellent, I got a Chocalately Chocolate shake which was also very good, and my wife got a Minty Chip shake which she loved. The service was great. This location doesn't have a lot of seating (only 8 total chairs, I believe).

This place was absolutely incredible. I'm always looking for local places to try so when we stumbled upon Hattie Jane's we had to try it. I was honestly so happy with everything about this place. The cleanliness of the bathroom and common areas was great. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The ice cream was delicious. I had the Brown Sugar Cookie Dough (not enough cookie dough for my cookie dough loving heart but it was still delish). My children got the Unicorn Cotton Candy and they loved it. Needless to say, we will be back.

This is the BEST ice cream I've ever had! It was soft but still cold; incredibly creamy and slightly sticky. I got the brown sugar cookie dough. It had sweet caramel undertones and generous chunks of chocolate chip cookie dough. Service was good. We were offered samples and each got one. The place was clean and well kept.

It smells so gooooood in there! We have enjoyed the cold brew milkshake, but all of the flavors we have tasted are also delicious.

I would give 3 and 1/2 if I could! I was so excited to get an ice cream place here in Donelson. The service is great, the place is nice; they even have a spot outside to eat. They have dairy free flavours!!! Hurray for those of us who can't eat dairy, but still crave ice cream. When I ordered a shake I was given a choice of non-dairy "milk". Love that. I had Mississippi Mud (DF) both times, in a cone and in a milkshake. Why the low score you may ask? Well, $7 for a cone and $9 for a shake. That just seems a bit high to me. I don't know how anyone could afford to bring their kids here and that's a shame.

The flavors of the ice cream are wonderful. I really enjoyed ice cream. They have a few tables out front so that you can sit down and really just enjoy your ice cream in peace.

There were 2 boys working there and they were nice and it seemed clean. I tried 4 samples and my friend did too- we found most of them to be a pretty icy texture. Not very creamy for ice cream. I got the brown sugar cookie dough ice cream in a cup and got zero bits of cookie dough which is pretty disappointing. My friend got the peach cobbler and found it lacking in the mix ins too. It was ok but we both agreed we likely wouldn't be back for that price and basically vanilla ice cream.

Great ice cream with friendly staff. Despite a longer line, they were very patient and gave out plenty of samples with no pressure to choose. Inside has limited seating, but the outside has a handful of picnic tables.

Go. Get in your car, and go!! ABSOLUTELY best ice cream I have ever had. The honeycomb and brown sugar cookie dough go together so perfectly!! I will try out of my way any day for this place. Locally made as well!!
