"With successful gallery outposts in New York, Zurich, and London, Hauser & Wirth is one of the most respected names in contemporary art. Rather than rely solely on the heavy hitters (Louise Bourgeoise, Dan Graham, Eva Hesse's estate), they give wall space to up-and-coming talent like Rashid Johnson and Bharti Kher, too. "

"Hauser & Wirth presents important international and British artists and is praised for innovative curatorial programming within its contemporary Mayfair premises." - Coolstuff Team
Hauser & Wirth Savile Row is a masterclass in gallery design, standing as a premier destination for art enthusiasts who appreciate scale and precision. Located in the heart of Mayfair, the gallery is split into two distinct, column-free spaces—the North and South galleries—specifically engineered by Selldorf Architects to accommodate ambitious, large-scale installations that many other urban galleries simply cannot house.

Hauser & Wirth London is one of the most influential galleries in the contemporary art scene. The gallery creates spaces where art, architecture, and discourse merge—a place where collectors, artists, and thinkers enter into dialogue about zeitgeist, responsibility, and artistic vision.

I’ve visited several times, most recently for the Amy Sherald exhibition. It’s generally free to visit and everyone working there is friendly, helpful and knowledgable. The building and interior itself is beautiful and is a great backdrop to some great exhibitions. There is a good selection of current and past exhibition books from this and other Hauser & Wirth locations. The London gallery is across two separate spaces a 20 second walk from one another so make sure you don’t miss one of them!

Interesting artist Cristina Iglesias who did "Forgotten river" outside the Bloomsbury HQ in London after the lost river walworth.
Stuffy receptionist though!

Nice stop by the Hauser and wirth to see the Amy Sherald show, was really impressive to see her work in real life, the paintings are much larger than you might realise and it is a lot easier to see all the beautiful detail in the pieces
It's a nice clean space well set up and established however the space is not particularly large though so it is best as a quick drop in as it is likely you will only be here for ten minutes or so

I guess the gallery had some sort of event yesterday evening (October 10th) as I saw a lot of people crowding and queuing in front of it. Today morning, on my way to work, I saw the pavement in front of the gallery covered in cigarette butts and other litter. There were even some beer bottles lying around.
I’d like to ask the people running this place to have a little bit of respect towards the community in which they run their business and to at least clean up after their customers and guests.

I recently visited contemporary art behemoth Hauser & Wirth's new digs to check out The Fabric Works - a posthumous exhibition of more than seventy of Louise Bourgeois's fabric drawings as well as four large-scale sculptures:

The show marked the opening of this new exhibition space. With 15,000 square feet, it's a dandy of a setting for viewing art and promises plenty of larger exhibitions and more expansive installations to come.

The Hauser & Wirth gallery is one of the best contemporary art spaces in London. In the main entrance hall is enough space for anything, and a downstairs that feels like a bank safe is an extremely interesting place to have a gallery. From exhibitions of paintings to video and conceptual art, Hauser & Wirth put on every type of contemporary art that is interesting and worth seeing.
