Haute Coffee is the definition of a hidden gem! The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the warm, cozy vibe that makes you want to stay for hours. Their coffee is outstanding—smooth, rich, and clearly made with care. And the pastries? Absolutely delicious, with a perfect balance of flavor and freshness. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Whether you’re grabbing a quick cup or looking for a spot to relax, this place is a must-visit. Can’t wait to come back!

The place had an old vibe. Closes by five. There is ample parking on the streets. The apple pie was v average. Another one with oats n caramel was good.

Google
Cute coffee shop with a variety of baked goods, breakfast/lunch items, and coffee. Service was very fast for both the coffee and warmed croissants we ordered. Pastries were brought to the table and I had to pickup my latte when they called out our name at the front. Latte was beautifully made and they had alternative milk options. Parking was super easy on the street as well as the parking lot in the back.

One of my top choices for coffee and a bite. Don’t miss it if you’re around. They make their own pastries and they’re some of the best I’ve ever tried! The only reason it is not my go to coffeeshop is that I need to bike 40 miles back and forth to get there. This place has a wide variety of single origin beans and makes an excellent pour over upon request. It also has breakfast and lunch sandwiches. If you’re in Concord, don’t hesitate to stop by.

Everything is amazing here. I cannot get enough of the banana bread! Not too dry, not too moist. The quality ingredients make the flavor soooo good. Highly recommended. Cozy dining area with plenty of tables. Bring your friends, bring a coffee date, bring your family... They will love it.

Google
Loved this cute place! The coffee and food were fantastic. We had a Haute Latte and a maple latte to drink and then a bacon and tomato sandwich along with an Eggy Mess which were also delicious. There were also pastries to choose from and a lunch menu that started at 11am. It’s a small place but there were probably around 10 small tables inside and a few outside of you want to sit in. Wi-Fi is available and the bathroom was clean. The staff were so nice! We’ll come back if we’re ever in the area again.

Google
Good matcha and they use counter culture coffee which is tasty but coffee isn’t properly dialed and milk texture is inconsistent

I popped in on a whim and found it standing room only. I ordered the haute latte (cinnamon and honey) and an avocado toast. Both were outstanding, presented beautifully and tasted delicious. Avocado was buttery, tomatoes flavorful (a shocker here in the states, unless home grown or sourced from a local farm), elevated by tangy balsamic vinegar, flaky salt, herbs and spices. I was even more impressed by the hearty toast, served crispy and hot despite the toppings. Lovely staff who handled the busy morning with grace and kindness. I will return with family. This place is a must for a cafe experience that is a cut above. Also your playlist is everything, keep it up!

Yelp
I was there last week and might top my latte list. I need to go back to verify. Nice atmosphere, service. and located in a great walking area

Yelp
Somebody told me this was the best coffee in Concord. Took 15 minutes to get my coffee which I had to pour myself, tiny bit of oat milk did not mix in, drink half of it, but did not really enjoy it. Croissant was large but not fresh or warm. $16 Person making coffee was angry, barked at someone for leaving their cup cup on the counter for too long. Dining area cluttered, no napkins. Not a great experience at any price.

Yelp
Enjoyed brunch although portions were not super filling. Vibe: Cute Concord café with small indoor and outdoor seating areas, baked goods, and small antique collection for sale. Service: Very fast Food: I got the Mega Eggy whose flavors were really tasty, the eggs had a medium boiled egg consistency, it was good. I also got a pain au chocolat which was solid. I got the Arnold Palmer which herbal tea which tasted like a cough drop, but was refreshing all the same, I tried my friend's with green tea and it was good. Value: I spent around $20 which was fine but I was still hungry after. Accessibility: Adjacent parking lot and plenty of nearby street parking Overall this was good, but definitely only serves a light breakfast, if you want something heartier this might not be the place.

Yelp
I have a new coffee place to add to my favorites, a very high quality café located in downtown Concord. The location is a bit hidden away, behind the shops near some parking areas. It's a pretty entrance though with some outdoor seating. It seems like almost every time I've visited Haute, there's a lively discussion or joking around going on with at least one patron and the employees, so it's an amusing place to visit, and welcoming. The coffee itself is nothing short of fantastic, with a line-up of top notch iced latte menu items like the wonderful maple spice, a honey cinnamon one, and my personal favorite and kind of a secret menu item, brown sugar (and of course I add powdered cinnamon). The coffee is organic and the flavor syrups are made in house. There are also tasty pastries, various teas, smoothies, and most everything else you'd need too. Haute has become a consistent stop for me whenever I'm in Concord. If you're a coffee drinker and find yourself in the area, this charming café is a must visit!

Yelp
The food is prepared and coffee is brewed, so I don't get why it takes 15-20+ minutes to get a cup. Anyway the shop is too small and very limited seating, it probably is a cute little coffee bar when very slow season.

Winter B.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this cute cafe when looking for an afternoon pick me up. The pastries looked really good and there was a nice selection. I love their iced coffee, it wasn't too bitter-tasted just right. I really liked the BLT I got as well. Employees were friendly and everything was reasonably priced. Indoor and outdoor seating. Would recommend. Solid coffee shop.

Yelp
Patch Work lemonade was a 10/10. It was a little sweet (exactly how I like it), and my partner got a lavender coffee she liked as well. Food and drink are reasonably priced, and service is quick and polite. The staff are kind, and make small talk if they have time. Definitely visit Haute Coffee!

Yelp
This intimate, vintage, friendly, sun-lit establishment is by far my favorite cafe in ALL of Middlesex County---I drive 30 minutes each weekend just to partake of the pleasure. Not only does it serve the most sumptuous coffee & teas in Concord, but the nourishing brunches (try the Avocado toast) and the delectable pastries (try the banana bread, but leave a slice for me) are to die for.... Above all, it's the warmth and ambiance of the cafe that draws me. And I am not alone: this beloved cafe attracts a diverse array of loyal locals, writers, musicians, scholars, bikers, tourists, you name it (every now & then even a few Revolutionary re-enactors arrive in Redcoat garb). The abiding sense of warmth and welcome is fostered by the amazing manager Evan. His radiance, generosity, and calm pervade the space---and beyond. Case in point: today, he even ventured into the pouring rain (after hours) to try to help jumpstart my car.... If you're heading toward Concord, I truly cannot recommend anywhere more highly.

Yelp
Sitting here after devouring simply the best banana bread I've ever had, along with a latte. My new favorite coffee place in Concord! Tucked away behind Main Street with plenty of options, a friendly staff, a cute seating area, sweet rustic feel - love, love, love! I'll be back soon.

Jackie D.

Yelp
I visited this awesome coffee joint for the first time, and wow, it was busy! Maybe it's always this lively, or perhaps it's because it's Saturday. The seating area had a charming ambiance with string lights, small lime trees, wide plank flooring, rustic walls and ceilings boasting exposed beams. I bought a local artist's calendar, a mocha latte, and some thumbprint cookies to-go! The latte was tasty, but I'll ask for it extra hot next time and thumbprint cookies were absolutely delicious!!

Denise P.

Yelp
Hi! Friendly staff! Nice vibe the day I was there. Low key. Coffee to die for (; ! Breakfast eggs were good. The BB muffin was yummmmy. Bathroom was clean !! A friendly cool-concord place. I will go back. Thank you. Denise Patnod Cambridge

Yelp
Very nice and quaint coffee shop. The coffee tasted good and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Yelp
The only other time I had been here before (years ago), I was very much turned off by a patron who delayed the line over a much-to-do-about-nothing just to exercise her entitlement fackery. And let's not talk about all those $8K racing bikes blocking the entrance to the parking lot while their owners preened about in their head-to-toe olympic wanna-be costumes. It was like all the pretense in living color Nathaniel Hawthorne wrote about while living at the Old Manse just a few blocks away. (Well, this is Concord MA. Should I have expected something different?). Fast forward to today. I was Jonesing for coffee and in a rush. I went in and yet again, the waaft of patron entitlement was on full display in attitude, posture and talk. Yet, what I saw behind the counter was the complete opposite. There was a welcoming, non-pretentious team WORKING THIER BUTTS OFF to get the goods to the customers as fast as possible (Gold star to the hiring manager). I ordered the Mega Eggy and and small coffee. The coffee was delicious!!! (You win right there!).The Maga Eggy was fresh, very tasty, and well balanced in ingredients and temperature. So, if you are a working class jerk like myself, fear not the entitlement stank put off by the patrons. Go in, get some great coffee and enjoy the show.

Yelp
Not burnt espresso is a wonderful thing. The coffee is good and so are the pastries. I didn't try their food but others said it was as good as the coffee.

Graham P.

Yelp
Still making a great cup of coffee or a nice chai, still had friendly staff of younger people who are trained well, still has a nice vibe in the seating area

Tessa S.

Yelp
Amazing nice people working, lovely seating available inside and outside and lot of parking available nearby! had a great iced maple latte and one of the BEST scones I've ever had (lemon blueberry flavor), could not recommend more!

Paul B.

Yelp
You can tell the food was made from scratch, I ordered a breakfast sandwich and they had just opened so it took them a little longer than I would want to. The upside is the food was great and the coffee was wonderful.

Karen T.

Yelp
I loved the food and that was the best iced espresso I have had this year! Haute Coffee is fun with a touch of an old colonial flavor to its sitting room out back. Right next to a great bookstore, too. You guys in Concord have it made!

Neo A.

Yelp
This cozy place has a warm atmosphere, but the 30-minute wait wasn't justified. The iced latte had too much milk, the egg and bacon were okay, the grilled cheese was average, and the cortado had a bitter taste. Many customers who ordered later received their coffees first.

Juliet K.

Yelp
Haute Coffee is hidden away in an alley in Concord, MA. There are two possible experiences at this little cafe. You can stop in and grab a coffee and pastries or you can have a sit down meal in the dining room. I have not had a sit down meal here (yet), so I'm only reviewing the take out area. You enter and a large menu is on the wall to your right while there are some pastries on the counter to choose from. I ordered a turmeric chai latte and Irish Soda Bread to go. The waiting area is a little small but that's okay because the wait isn't too long. Service was good and my items were yummy.

Robyn B.

Yelp
Stopped by here for a quick mocha and it ended up taking a lot longer than expected. It wasn't busy, but I stood at the cash register waiting to order while the baristas and workers were doing their thing, and no one acknowledged me...it was odd, I tried getting their attention but they either didn't hear me or ignored me. I almost walked out but someone eventually came over and asked if I'd been helped yet (obviously not) and finally took my order. The mocha was good albeit a little too sweet for what I normally prefer. Suggest asking for less chocolate if you order a mocha.

Nikki S.

Yelp
I had an appointment near concord center and decided to stop in for a coffee. The service, coffee, food, and atmosphere were AMAZING. You were greeted by a very friendly face as soon as you walked through the door. It was a bit of a wait in line, but the friendly staff made the wait worth while. There are so many choices for pastries and such. I got a chocolate croissant and it was DIVINE. The cold brew coffee tasted so good. I will definitely be back!

Pau J.

Yelp
The coffee and pastries are very good. The service is good and the atmosphere is very good. There is a bit more space than at other coffee shops. There is something about the atmosphere that makes it a good place for a private conversation. It may be that is lighter than some other places.

Daniel G.

Yelp
Good coffee and spacious for anyone looking to do some work or meet someone. Only had a small drip coffee, but it was reasonably priced (this is relative to the price of coffee in NYC) and service was quick. Would recommend for anyone who lives in the area. A little confusing to find if you're not familiar with downtown. The coffee shop is tucked behind other stores facing the inner parking lot.

Flora S.

Yelp
The Maple Spice Latte is over the moon amazing! The perfect blend of maple and cardamom - a delight that you won't ever forget.

Ellen M.

Yelp
Excellent coffee. Closes too early. Wish they would find a larger location in Concord Center with more outside seating.

Jo C.

Yelp
Hidden in alley off the main street. Side street parking available 1-2 Outdoor benches to eat All day breakfast menu Other sandwiches Hot and cold beverage available. We ordered the mega sandwich (about $10) which is on their breakfast menu. It is a sandwich with two pouched eggs, tomato, avocado, bacon and cheese on a brioche bun. Surprisingly, this sandwich was not very greasy or acidic as I was expecting with the pesto. It was absolutely delicious! I also had a vanilla lavender latte and tumeric latte (around $5 each). They had a nice flavor as you can really taste the flavors respectively.

Allie S.

Yelp
I stopped by while visiting Concord. I had already tried and liked their pastries from their Cambridge location. This time I ordered an egg sandwich to go. The sandwich was good and pretty affordable for the area. The staff was friendly and service quick despite how busy they were.

73and9 7.

Yelp
Yikes not sure what to say, took about 25 minutes for a grilled cheese. The eggs over arugula is not a sandwich it's two eggs over a little arugula for way too much cost, at least a 75% markup. A drip coffee is $5, lol. A place run by high school kids acting as if it is Manhattan is not a way you want to spend a morning.

Brenda G.

Yelp
I ordered a small hot latte at 10:30 am and finally got it at 10:57. It took 27 minutes to make a hot latte!!! I had to go to the counter twice - at 10:50, they told me " I was next". Seven minutes later, I finally got it. Ridiculous wait- and it was only lukewarm!

Katie M.

Yelp
Food is delicious and cooked well with wholesome ingredients. Coffee is the best in Massachusetts. It's so cute and cozy inside and outside. Branding is great and the staff is wonderful. I always recommend this place.

Caroline D.

Yelp
Come for coffee and the baked goods, skip the breakfast. We had the breakfast sandwich, which was more like a snack (tiny with one egg on one piece of untoasted bread, see pic) and the Greek yogurt with granola and fruit (fresh! and nicer than the sandwich). We had a double chocolate cookie was good albeit on the verge of being burnt. Coffee was good enough where we'd probably come back but just for drinks. Seems like the best cup in this small town.

Brody C.

Yelp
Great service, had some trouble finding the upper turf but went along the railroad tracks and ended up at the pond :) thanks for the directions

Andy P.

Yelp
I ordered an iced lavender latte. The barista made a hot latte. Rather than properly remaking the iced latte, he proceeds to fill a whole cup of ice and then just pours the hot latte into the ice cup. Now my drink tastes like water with lavender essence. Do better, even Starbucks knows not to do this. No big deal if it was made incorrectly the first time, but at least correctly remake it. I paid 6$ for a sloppy drink that doesn't even taste like coffee.

Alyssa F.

Yelp
Coming up on three months of stay at home orders and I've been craving a decent latte for most of those three months. We took a trip up to Concord to get out of the city and to satisfy my coffee craving and I'm so happy that we did. Haute Coffee is a cute little building tucked off the main street. They're currently only doing online orders on the weekends, which are placed on a table outside the shop once completed. Their online ordering was easy, but not necessarily seamless. They are clearly doing a good business with tons of people waiting for orders, and as a result it seems like the availability of items listed in their online ordering system might be a little wonky. We didn't end up with one of our items and had to call to ask for it to be substituted instead of refunded. Their cold brew coffee was delicious as was their maple latte. I'm a sucker for anything with cardamom, so this latte was right up my alley. It's got a ton of spicy cardamom flavor, but wasn't too sweet and didn't overwhelm the coffee- an excellent latte. We also got a piece of banana bread (yum) and some of the best avocado toast that I've had. It was in the mid eighties and I was hoping for something fresh (and cool). The avocado toast fit the bill perfectly. I opted for the 7 grain bread which held up well to the avocado and tomato toppings. The tomatoes were fresh and well seasoned. I would definitely get the avocado toast on a return visit and am looking forward to trying more of their offerings.

Yuk L.

Yelp
I've been a few times with family friends when visiting them in Concord. Always a go-to stop for coffee but best if not with kids in tow. Most recently, we were sans-kids and easily found seats to enjoy the Toast Du Jour which was multigrain topped with home-made ricotta and squash. absolutely delightful and the snack we needed. I had a dark roast pour over that really was not dark. My friend enjoyed her peppermint mocha tremendously. I came back as I was leaving town and ordered a peppermint mocha for the road. I agree it's the best peppermint mocha I've had. Not syrupy sweet.

Ella F.

Yelp
Haute Coffee is definitely one of my favorite places to the point where my father and I have made it a weekend tradition. I've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. The cold brew is incredible and I alternate between that and the iced matcha yeti latte (peppermint and vanilla) with oat milk. My little brother is particularly fond of their iced tea, lemonade, and hot chocolate (although lately he's been ordering a mocha flavored babychino instead of the regular haute chocolate because he prefers a little bit of a cooler temperature). They always have a cute selection of pastries and often will have at least one vegan and/or gluten free option. The barista's are always super friendly and accommodating. (Be kind to them because they're doing a really nice job handling the pandemic!) Because of the pandemic, Haute has closed off all indoor seating and has customers ordering through a window in the front of the shop. You can also place orders through their website. If you're looking for a quick coffee to go, this may not be the right place for you as wait times can span 15-45 minutes. However, if you do have the time, there are plenty of cute shops nearby to explore. Haute Coffee is well worth the visit!

Holly W.

Yelp
Saturday morning we stopped into Haute. We did park on the street unaware there was a parking lot right near the main entrance when you turned into the Haute area! When we entered, we were unaware if you placed your order in line or at the table. In line folks! I liked that at 11:15am on a Saturday you still could choose from the breakfast menu or the lunch menu. There were lite and heavier options for a coffee shop. The sitting area is small, and you do have to wait out a table. Luckily it didn't take us long. Most seating options here are for 2 people but we made a table for 4. The atmospheric highlighted the old architecture but hipster vibe of the shop. It did not feel cozy as it was packed. Food is delivered to your table, I have to say it did take some time for them to toast some bread and cook 3 pieces of bacon!! Prepare for a small wait. I did have the avocado toast. I have to say I wasn't a fan of the pepper flakes but overall a nice option to offer. Cute place but if you are in a hurry or want something cozy, this isn't it.

Owen J.

Yelp
Very good service, and nice people. The food and drinks were good. Very happy with the directions given, they were very helpful. A journey that we will not soon forget.

Stephanie R.

Yelp
This is the cutest little coffee shop! The staff were super friendly, the coffee was amazing, and best of all? Vegan pastries! I stopped in here when I was on my way home from an event and needed a quick spot with wifi. Haute Coffee is next to a parking lot that had ample parking (and I'm pretty sure it was free parking, if memory serves). The staff were super friendly and helpful when I was being wishy washy about what I wanted to order. Also, I think this might be one of the last coffee shops to offer soy milk. And I am so so so grateful that they do. Only downside? There's 3 doors... Upside? They all work! I got confused about how to get in with so many doors. Many places will lock one or ask you to go around to another entrance. Not here!

Pam S.

Yelp
Got to say the spot has gone down hill. Expensive, slow service and missing ingredients.

Jackson M.

Yelp
Great place, nice workers and really yummy pastries definitely recommend this place for anyone who likes breakfast/ snacks

Kaori M.

Yelp
I had pour over coffee. It was soooo good. The coffee came with bottle to pour, so actually it was 1.5 cups of coffee. Also I had chocolate croissant and macha scone. Especially scone was great. Selection of pastry is really good. The nice cozy table inside. Definitely 5 stars.

Dave C.

Yelp
This was an interesting experience, and after 5 visits I had to stop going. Ultimately it came down to whether the trip was worth the product as there are many local coffee options. The coffee is just "ok" and nothing special for the price and quantities in the cup sizes. Wish I could say more good things, but just an ok for me and the fam.

AB H.

Yelp
Hit or miss - the first time we ordered a hot chocolate it was delicious - rich and creamy. The next time we got one it was as if they put in significantly less chocolate. Super disappointing. The turmeric latte has been good both times.

Chris M.

Yelp
Stopped here in the middle of a bike ride and got a couple things to fuel up with: - maple spice latte: super delicious, tasted very maple-y without being overly sugary. - cold apple cider: nice and refreshing drink, pretty much exactly what I was hoping for. Had some nice spices to top it off with. - avocado toast: the tomatoes this was topped with were amazing! I was surprised that tomatoes were still in season this late in September. I did wish this was on a nice thick slab of sourdough instead of sandwich bread but so it goes. Very covid-safe operations - they take your order at a window, and place your order at a different window. There are a few tables / benches to eat at on the patio. We got here at ~12:30, which meant most of the pastries were sold out. Next time...

Natalie S.

Yelp
Their lattes taste like caramel! Also, their staff is awesome. A customer was v rude to the barista and, who handled the conflict well (she accused the barista of withholding 10¢!).

Nathan L.

Yelp
We have stopped at this coffee shop several times now and every time it is very good. The pour over coffee is delicious. Very flavorful. It comes in a cute little glass bottle with an insulator that looks like a vest. We also usually each get a baked thing. I have tried several different scones. They were all very good. I like the decor as well. Kind of rustic with a brick interior and a dark wooden ceiling. They also have outside seating.

Sin R.

Yelp
The service is super slow. Coffee is good but your orders are placed randomly so some don't wait while others wait forever
