HAUULA BBQ

This is a great little spot! You might miss it if you're not looking for it. We weren't looking for it, but were glad we found it! Great food, made right then and there so it's super fresh and very tasty! Friendly staff. Small indoor dining area, but it works! We got the garlic shrimp and pasta, bbq chicken, and a mixture of the two. They have a nice selection of foods, spicy and non, and a bunch of drink options!

What nice people, even though they were ready to close, they took their time and made dinner for us. The BBQ Chicken was just right. It hit the spot and tasted fabulous. Thank you so much. We'll be back.

Amazing roadside Korean wood charcoal bbq, serving kalbi (숯불갈비) and chicken alongside other Korean-Hawaiian classics. Ribeye (grilled marinated beef) and Meat Jun (fried beef slices dipped in egg) Combo Plate make for an authentic, protein-packed lunch with a tropical twist. Excellent option for tasting an age-old Korean-Pacific Islander fusion. Highly recommended — and popular with local surfers seeking some respite from the wave. 👍

Best BBQ ever. Giovanni’s wishes their garlic shrimp was this good. Definitely the best food on the north shore by far. Kimchi is one of the salad options too which goes really well with the short ribs and bulgogi. Staff is friendly and attentive as well.

The woman that runs this shop is so kind, and the food she makes is incredible. I've tried several things on the menu and every one of them has been incredible. Seriously some of the best food I've had on the island!!! Ill be back again!

I felt like my mom made me dinner and brought it out to me! Probably best food we’ve had since being here. They make it all right there for you, even grill it in the front of the restaurant, and then bring it to you themselves. They’re so friendly and the food was phenomenal!

Fantastic food and great portions! We had the kalbi, bbq chicken and man doo. Everything was delicious! We only waited about 20 minutes for all the food. We watched them grill the kalbi and chicken out front. Definitely recommend it!

Amazing local BBQ. They do grill everything right outside. And the staff was so kind to deliver it to our car. Loved every bite.
