Havana 1920

The atmosphere was what I think Cuba would be like. The food was authentic and the staff was super friendly. I really loved the decor and we sat upstairs which added to flair.

This place was a great find in the Gaslamp Quarter. The food is very tasty and extremely well priced, especially when you go on a night they’re having a special. The chips and salsa were yummy, the sandwiches were delicious, and the fries were great. Our waitress was had high energy, but was a bit too much for us. She spoke to us in a different voice seemingly every time she checked on us or brought out refills/food. We didn’t know if it was a show she was acting in or what, but it was a bit uncomfortable. We didn’t know how to react when a grown woman spoke in the Elmo voice, a Boston accent, a devil’s voice, and a Godfather mafia voice on numerous occasions. It was odd. She was very kind and answered all our questions though. Everything else about our experience was comfortable and enjoyable. Short wait, fun vibe, great location, yummy food. Would highly recommend!

Cool restaurant. The building has a prohibition-era theme and Habana 1920 is the theme of going to Cuba in the 1920s to drink. The bar is mainly focused on rum, but they are willing to be flexible to get you what you want. The service and food were great.

Cuban menu available in Mexican seating side was great! Sandwiches and yucca frita was so good! Drinks amazing!

The food is decent but completely disappointed that we made reservations to only find out that you cannot be seated on Havana 1920 until 5:00pm. We were sat at their sister restaurant El Chingon, eating Cuban food, completely missing an experience we were looking forward to.

Love! Love! Love this restaurant. Its a shame I'd have to board a flight to get there! The food was delicious. Our waiter was delightful. The atmosphere was phenomenal. If I lived nearby I would definitely make a habit of visiting this establishment frequently. Highly recommend this restaurant- even if you're not familiar with Cuban cuisine.

Excellent. According to my wife who has been to Cuba it is very authentic. We had the croquettes, empanadas, tres leches cake and the guava daiquiri. And life music.

I went to happy hour here and really enjoyed it. They have a nice happy hour menu. The cheese and guava empanadas are absolutely AMAZING. I loved this place, very charming!
