Best LGBTQ Bars in Dallas | Eater Dallas

"Feel the energy of Latin and hip-hop music at Havana Bar & Grill, which doubles as a gay nightclub. Why they call it a bar and grill, we truly do not know, because there is no food to be found anywhere. There are, however, cocktails in a myriad of colors — think frozen margaritas in every color of the rainbow, mimosa towers, and micheladas at brunch. With an open floor for drag performances on weekends, the audience feels like they’re part of the action at this showy, spotlight-driven place." - Alex Gonzalez

Amazing food!! Service was great and everyone was friendly. Nice and clean restaurant. We ordered the Cuban sandwich: AMAZING! The Sausage and pepper appetizer and it was wonderful! Sweet plantains were yummy and the kiddos ate three orders of them. Black beans were great. The only thing we didn’t like was white rice. But again, the meal was amazing from start to finish. Highly recommend y’all!

Google
Found this gem while in town. The service was great the owners daughter was such a sweetheart and the only one who spoke english. Family owned. Being that we were there on Valentines Day it took about 40 minutes for a call in order but it was worth it!! Support small businesses

Wow! What fun! We had great food and a show! The atmosphere was nothing but festive. The decor of the restaurant was enchanting with pictures of classic cars from Cuba proudly displayed! The staff was attentive and friendly. The other clientele of the restaurant was also very exuberant and welcoming, making this a great place to visit on a Saturday night. The band was absolute joy and made the experience memorable and epic! Will return!!!

Google
Havana Bar & Grille is a fantastic spot for authentic Cuban cuisine! I started with the croquetas appetizer, which were perfectly crispy on the outside and rich and creamy on the inside. For my entrée, I had the Ropa Vieja with Moro and fried yuca. I originally wanted tostones—my favorite—but they were out that day. Luckily, the fried yuca was a delicious substitute, with a crispy exterior and soft, flavorful interior. Being from the Tampa Bay area, I grew up loving Cuban food, and I was thrilled to find a place like this in my neighborhood. The Ropa Vieja was incredible—tender, slow-cooked beef infused with rich, savory tomato sauce and vibrant spices, full of depth and just the right balance of sweetness and acidity. It tasted like comfort on a plate. I paired it with a mojito, which was refreshing and well-balanced. Beyond the great food, the staff is always welcoming, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The decor and Cuban music playing over the speakers add to the experience, making it feel like a little escape. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for an excellent Cuban meal!

Google
Had the Cuban sandwich. It was fair. Price was a bit high. We plan on returning to try their main dishes. Returned...sweet plantains were the very best ever. The rest of our food was so so.

Google
To be fair.... service was good for a packed house and short on service. The atmosphere is what I expected. They had live music playing tonight. Now... the food... except for my mom's cooking, this Cuban food was outstanding. Very flavorful and I will be coming back just for the food!!! Wow!!! Also had a couple of mojitos; they were also pretty good. You want Cuban food around here...this is the place to go!

Google
Wow. I wasn’t expecting this and haven’t had anything so good in a while and I’ve had some good Cuban food in Florida-If you know you know. Like it caught me off guard how flavorful and good it was. I initially thought $40 was a lot but this was worth every Penny! And I would do it again! THIS PLACE WAS THE BOM.COM-VERY very good! Delicious. How many other ways can I say it? Lol I don’t know but Baybeh give this place a try. You will not regret it. I ordered to-go and picked up my food around 6pm. The weren’t super busy and the customer service was great. The atmosphere is very welcoming and comforting, like going to someone’s house that you know and the food..ahhh the food. I had a Vaca Frita plate (shredded beef with sautéed onions). It came with your choice of two sides. I chose Moro Rice(rice and beans) and sweet plantains. I also ordered a house salad, yucca fries and Empanada de Carne (beef empanadas) and I know I already mentioned it a few times but one more time.. it was fiya🔥🔥🔥. Check out the pics of my order. Google
Great food, excellent and quick service! UPDATE: While there everything was perfect, including the portion size. After I ate half of each appetizer and the fries, I was full. Deciding to bring the sandwich home and not waste it, I discovered my order was wrong. I specifically requested NO pickles......and I had pickles all in my sandwich. As a finicky eater, this does not sit well with me.

Yelp
Definitely a must try Cuban place came down for Thanksgiving, decided to take my sister and mother out to eat on that Tuesday . Read some local reviews and settled on introducing my mom and sis to Cuban food which i had experienced a few yrs earlier in Miami for my first time Place didn't disappoint, excellent savory dishes, and refreshing cocktails. Friendly staff place was empty but dont let that fool yahh. Typical looking Latin place no frills.

Yelp
It's been a while since I had good Cuban food in the DFW area and I'm so glad we found this spot. This restaurant sits in a strip mall with a few other restaurants. We'd tried the Puerto Rican restaurant a few doors down and loved it so we thought we've give Havana a try. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and there were only 2 other tables. The restaurant was clean, had plenty of tables, a bar, and a dance floor area. TVs were on broadcasting the soccer game. Our server was nice and helpful though there was a bit of a language barrier. That didn't matter to me because the food did all the speaking and she knew we were pleased with our empty plates. Now to the food. We ordered empanadas de camarones (shrimp) and yuca frita cubana as appetizers. The way I've been dreaming about those empanadas days later. Superb! For entrees, hubby ordered the Masas de Cerdo Frita (fried pork) with moro rice & tostones while I ordered the Camarones al Ajillo (garlic shrimp) with moro rice & plantains. I have no notes because our food was delicious. Everything was so flavorful. My hubby took my garlic sauce home to eat with his leftover pork. Lol. As a lover of Caribbean food, we'll be finding all the ways to get back here. I did see they had 2 for $20 lunch specials which I'm sure is a hit during the work week. I also saw the red snapper being delivered to another table and it looked so good. I'll be back soon

Yelp
We were excited because of the good rating/reviews. We were disappointed. The food was mediocre at best. Portions smaller than any other Cuban place I have been too. Service was incredibly slow, and we were the only people in the restaurant. It took almost 45 minutes to get our food. She was on her phone while our teas were empty. It also seemed like a money grab to charge $3 for iced teas, and the .75 for each refill in very small cafeteria-like cups.
google avatar

Josh B.

Yelp
Cuban sandwich is very tasty and the bread encapsulated all of the good flavors together. The sweet plantains were made perfectly! The environment felt like I was a Cuban spot I use to go to in Florida all the time. Also recommend the Mango juice!
google avatar

Terri L.

Yelp
Wow! First and only place I've ever eaten Cuban food is in Miami and I've tried many places in the DFW area that claim to be Cuban but this one really is. I looked up menu before we drove down and had to make sure we could eat the same dishes we had at La Caretta in Miami and they did so we took off. I was optimistic but you never know. I know now. This place is awesome. There was only 1 server and he barely spoke English and he was awesome. He handled 4 tables of 4 and us and another couple came in while we were there. Nobody was wanting for anything and he was also the bartender. We started out with a pina colada which was wonderful and the spinach and manchego cheese empanadas. The pastry on the empanadas was crispy all the way thru and so tasty. No grease at all. They were awesome. I could eat an entire plate of these. For entrees Hubs had a Cuban sandwich because you have to at a Cuban restaurant and I had the Churrasco steak with yucca and black beans. Cuban sandwich was huge, took half home and was very good. Hubs said he prefers the pickles smaller but he loved it. My steak and the chimi-churri sauce was a party in my mouth. The yucca was fried perfectly, no grease taste at all and the black beans were the best I've ever had. Sorry Miami, these guys beans are better. Cannot wait to go back and try all the other menu items. If you like Cuban you have to try this place.

Yelp
2nd time at this restaurant and the ropa vieja is still pure perfection!! Service was ok during lunch enough to sit down and decompress before going back to work.

Kim C.

Yelp
We were excited to come here to eat Cuban food, got over here & its got a big sign that they were closed down

Yelp
I had the saddest, and worst Cuban sandwich that I've ever tried. Missing- pickle, mustard and barely any mayo to speak of...I took one bite and knew something in the universe was wrong, so wrong. How can something so basic, so Cuban, be made so incomplete? And it wasn't just my sandwich, my friend's sandwich was incomplete as well! I know there are good Cuban sandwich's outside of Florida, this place just isn't one of them.
google avatar

Yelp
If you're looking for a hole in the wall, with really great food. This is the place. Place. I highly recommend it, we were in the area and decided to try something new. So Cuban it was. Glad we went in. It wasn't crowded on a Sunday. We decided to go with tapas instead of a regular meal. We ordered several tapas, empanadas, chorizo, chicken fried, fried yucca. All the food was really good. Well the service was a little slow, it's expected If you doing it a place that is giving out good food. Where we go back, yes we will
google avatar

Barb A.

Yelp
Picked up a Cuban Sandwich with yucca fries to go on Sunday late morning. I was greeted with a smile upon entering. I placed my order and sat to wait for my order. There were no other customers in the restaurant. It was only a 15min wait. The Cuban sandwich was good. The pork had good flavor. The sandwich was still quite warm after a 15min drive. The yucca fries were undercooked and they didn't have the cilantro cream/dressing. I will try to fry them more in the air fryer.
google avatar

Stephanie W.

Yelp
Food is pretty good and cuban food is hard to come by in Arlington. We had the papas rellenos, croquettes, and cuban sandwiches. Pretty standard cuban food and tastes pretty good. The service is a struggle. They are extremely slow and inattentive. We were there about an hour and a half and no refills. Even the espresso took a long time. A decent spot for a craving, but plan to be here a while.
google avatar

Corie B.

Yelp
Todos las comidas están muy delicioso! Highly recommend you try this place. All of the food was prepared fresh and very flavorful. I also noticed that they host salsa and bachata dance nights as well! Well worth the money and experience.

Justin P.

Yelp
I had the Cuban beef stew with Moro Rice and fried Sweet Plantains. Holy cow! Absolutely delicious. The service was excellent and the restaurant ambiance/ atmosphere are great. This place should be packed at lunchtime. I need to try a few more items but this place is on its way to being on my personal hidden gems list.
google avatar

Jennifer U.

Yelp
Like others have stated, the service takes time so be ready to wait for your food. With that in mind, the food tasted pretty god but I have had better Cuban food. We got the fried cheesecake thinking that it was gonna tast like a churro on the outside and have some fancy white chocolate drizzle...no it came to us simply as cheesecake wrapped in a flour tortilla and fried (not worth the cost).
google avatar

Kadoria I.

Yelp
The food was really good and has an authentic Carribean flavor. I had the shrimp empanadas and Mar Caribe from the tapas menu. Both were great in flavor and very fresh. The empanadas were crispy and flaky, just like they should be. My husband got the Masa de Cerdo Frito or Battered and Fried Pork, which he enjoyed. I helped him eat his tostones and can attest that they were done just right. The service was prompt, we were one of only two occupied tables during lunch time. My only downside is that I noticed the other table was given a fully bevy of condiments and sauce to use, and we were not. I would have loved to try them out.

Yelp
I'm from Miami Florida where Cuban restaurants are as plentiful as taco spots here in Texas. This is the best Cuban restaurant I've tried here in DFW. I had the ropa vieja with yuca al mojo, and it was delicious. I was too hungry or I'd have taken a picture. Has a full bar, and i hear the mojitos are where its at. Excellent friendly service, and great value plate size for price. Turns out they have Salsa nights on Saturdays, and live music now and then. I look forward to coming back soon!

Cindy C.

Yelp
Great customer service! Great music choices as well. As for the food it was a let down. I've had the Venezuelan version of Ropa Vieja and my own recipe for Ropa Vieja and their plate was not up to standards, I'd rather make my self some at home. It was my first time trying Cuban food so I did expect to be impressed but I wasn't. Not to mention I paid $21 for the plate and mango juice. I really enjoyed the plantains tho!! This might be your place but as for someone that's had a variety of foods and a foodie this place doesn't cut it from me.
google avatar

Nancy M.

Yelp
Food was very good. We had the empanadas for an appetizer, oxtails and garlic chicken for dinner. Our server was attentive super helpful. He mentioned they have music via DJ or live bands. We would love to come back.
google avatar

Daniel O.

Yelp
I've ordered about half of the menu by now and I've been pleased with every order. The croquettes are the platonic ideal. Perfect bechamel and ham. Almost impossibly crispy crust. They melt. The empanadas are equally impressive. Generously seasoned filling in a crispy on the outside, flaky, satisfying crunch. They treat their plantains with respect. Their black beans are above and beyond for the area. The bistek is tender and flavorful and the cerdo frita is on par with anything you'd find in Miami. A genuine treat.

Ashley W.

Yelp
I just recently had my first experience and ordered food togo. The food was absolutely incredible and authentic. I believe the nightmgr was Chris but not sure I picked up food late and he's amazing.

Adrianne S.

Yelp
Before I even start my review, I have to say a large part of the problem was a language barrier. The waiter didn't speak English, we didn't speak Spanish. My husband ordered the grilled boneless chicken in garlic, white wine and saffron. It was supposed to come with white rice. It did not. We think it was yuca of some sort. The chicken was not grilled and very overcooked to the point it was chewy. My son ordered some type of fried chicken strips with spice, he pointed to what he wanted bc of the language barrier. He received some type of pork dish, it was ok. I had the beef empanadas and they were ok. My FIL's long term gf was Cuban and she was a phenomenal cook! Her empanadas were amazing. On New Year's we would have a whole roast pig-yum! I was hoping to find that here, bummer. Maybe they were just having an off day?
google avatar

Cheryle S.

Yelp
Oh my goodness! When you leave a restaurant feeling a little ill because you tried to stop eating and couldn't, you KNOW it's good! I grew up in Hialeah (if you know, you know) and this was like home. My kids were excited to get Jupina, which we can't find where we live now, and I had the best present of jugo de guanabana! We ordered a variety including a kids meal of chicken and fries (chicken didn't look like much but was DELICIOUS). Pechuga de pollo con ajillo with Moro rice and yuca frita, sandwich de bistec with maduros, and ropa vieja with maduros and house salad. Also had the papa rellenas for appetizer and cafe con leche to finish it all up. I am SO FULL RIGHT NOW...but not a single regret. I really wish we had a place like this in Lubbock (hint hint, wink wink)...I promise you would never be empty there. Our server was super polite and attentive and a true blessing along with the food. We will search you out when we come back to town again.

Yelp
First time there, had been there prior asking about the authentic Cuban food and was informed by their staff that it was and that they use real Cuban bread. So I informed them I'll be back another time which was today. I gave my order and paid $11 for a overpriced Cuban sandwich I'll give it a chance but to our disappointed after we got home it was horrible, burned bread, ham etc and wasn't Cuban bread. I enclosed pics what I received but live too far to return it. Should have checked prior to leaving, lesson learned.
google avatar

Dumebi C.

Yelp
I ordered the ropa vieja and my partner ordered the baca frita with white rice and plantains, both dishes were ok and would give them a 3.5. For drinks my partner got the jugo de mango and I got the jugo de guanabana which both tasted amazing. There was some language barrier with the waiters only knowing how to speak Spanish, so you'll have to point at what you want if you don't speak Spanish.
google avatar

Ebony E.

Yelp
The food is good, it's my second visit both I enjoyed the food. For sure something I can't cook at home. My veggies were cold but I don't they sell much of that side dish. This visit was not the best on customer service, I felt over looked by wait staff, until one server come over to serve me hopefully he got the tip I left him.
google avatar

Andrew L.

Yelp
We all ate something different and it was all good! I personally had the beef steak sandwich without tomatoes and plantain chips instead of fries. Service was friendly and very welcoming. The vibe was magnificent. Will eat again!
google avatar

Jennifer Y.

Yelp
On top of sipping on a refreshing "cuba libre" or "mango juice"; nibbling on their fantastic "chicharron de pollo" & "yucca fries"; and, dining on delicious "polomilla, steak" or "robo encindido, oxtail", there's live entertainment every Saturday night here at Havana Bar & Grill Cuban Cuisine! Fun and casual is their ambience of their red linen tablecloths, street scenes photos, travel posters, brightly painted teal and red walls, and an undeniable spot left opened for entertainment! Friendly and efficient is the service. Always willing in explaining their menu items and making recommendations. Making each guest satisfied! CHEERS!

Yelp
Havana Bar & Grill is a premier restaurant location in Arlington, Texas for authentic Cuban and Latin cuisine. The food is prepared with a passion for detail. Customers enjoy a flavor of home. Havana Bar & Grill also provides entertainment on weekends that includes a DJ, various musicians and a vocal impersonator that sings many Latin favorites. Havana Bar & Grill additionally provides clientele with a venue for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and a host of special events. The owners and staff connect with their patrons to ensure their experience is superior.

Yelp
You want authentic Cuban? Look no further, Havana is where you need to be! Cristino (chef) & Cris (waiter) took excellent care of me and were super attentive and also hilarious! I am in love with Cubanos! I have tried my best to stop eating pork but every blue moon, I'll give in to the swine and it's in those blissful bites that I'm reminded how good pork is. This Cubano is grilled perfectly with a thin slice of ham that's been pan-fried, shredded-tender roast pork, Swiss cheese, mayo, mustard, and diced pickles. The roasted pork had robust flavor and really was the piece of the sandwich that married all the other ingredients. The Masas de Cerdo Frita (more pork) is fried perfectly and has some fat reserved that makes the perfect bite with the tender meat. Anything that says "ropa"... GET IT! It's like shredded flank steak stew in a tomato-y sauce and it is succulent af. Had mine over rice and it was the perfect meal. The Tamal Cubano is this delicious tamale in the size of a burrito! Taste like they used a slight sweet corn masa. The masa was so moist and had the same texture throughout the entire tamal with bits of, you guessed it, pork in it. Lastly, the Gambasal Ajilo is shrimp cooked in a garlic infused virgin olive oil *drools* Now that I know about this place, I'll be back cause it's the best Cuban I've had in the metroplex :)

Yelp
So, I stopped by this place grabbing a bite to eat. It is a nice size on the inside with room for dancing and karaoke. It has an outside patio for those wanting to get that brisk of air while you eat. I ordered the Catch of the Day (written in Spanish) whole red snapper. At first, I saw a head with eyes, and almost fell out of my seat (lol) realizing it was olives as a garnish. The fish was fried whole, crispy but not a lot of flavor. I drenched it in Tabasco. I enjoyed the Moro Rice, especially, because I like black beans. The salad had to be redone because they served me yellow lettuce that's at the bitter end, yuk! There isn't a dressing but oil and vinegar; which was okay with me. The young lady that took our order was able to explain in detail their menu. Also, she was the bartender making a great drink with Amaretto Sour and pineapple juice. I can't tell you what else was included but it was yummilicious! I can't wait until we go back to Happy Hours, this is a place I would hang out with friends. Look whose talking (LOL) I'm a introvert. I'll most likely be a carryout patron. Hey, check them out.

Lance M.

Yelp
Having grown up in Los Angeles with a Cuban uncle, I grew up with Cuban food and I used to go to Porto's bakery which is legendary in the area, I ordered from there twice and both times were less than appealing. The Cubano sandwich was horrible, barely any ham to offset the pulled pork and the potato balls were too sweet not like the picotta meat I grew up with. And the portions were not compatible with what I knew in Cuban food. And the saddest thing was the Spanish dish of bacon wrapped shrimp. It was totally drenched in a strange bbq sauce and ruined the flavor. As much I wanted to like this place, I couldn't even recommend it. Don't think I d ever order from there again. Don't waste your money on substandard food.
google avatar

Emma B.

Yelp
My office ordered take out from here, I went with the Ropa Vieja with moro and yuca. The dish wasn't as I expected as I thought it was going to be a stew, whereas it's stewed meat, basically shredded beef. Nonetheless the dish was very enjoyable and flavourful. I particularly liked my sides as they were different. The yuca was a great alternative to French Fries.
google avatar

Tihesha S.

Yelp
I had dulce plátanos and an empanada and it was delicious! I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu.

Josey A.

Yelp
For starters, the service is outstanding! Our server, Yoan was extremely welcoming and very attentive to me and my family. Also, the food was incredible! Delicious and flavourful! My favorite plate was the Vaca Frita with Moro rice, yuca al mojo, and fried plantain. Definitely a hidden gem!
google avatar

Jim V.

Yelp
Came in for a Cuban coffee which was great. Ended up getting beef empanadas, sausage and shrimp appetizer and a mojoto. Everything was great. We will definitely go back. I recommend you try it!
google avatar

Walter D.

Yelp
All was delicious including the Guajiro coffee. I am not sure if the description of the food is with the photo that I took with my phone, so I will include it here as well, the Snapper with Tostones and Fried Yuca.

Yelp
Good news is I don't have to go all the way to Dallas/Carrollton or Timbuktu for Cuban. Bad news: Not 5 minutes from my house, still a 25 minute drive. No complaints here ;) Y'all need to come eat here. I don't want it closing for good. If you read my reviews then you know I'm a lover of Cuban. And a picky when it comes to Cuban since being from Miami. I had the palomilla steak. Pounded out steak full of flavor with onions on top. Some put bits of garlic on it, which makes it even better. Squirt some lime on top and the flavors will have your taste buds dancing. It was very good. I got black beans, white rice, and plantains. They have moro rice, which is basically rice and beans mixed, but I like to mix it myself. The black beans and rice were very good, especially the beans. Plantains weren't chewy and cooked just right. Expensive, but very good and authentic. I guess because we are in Texas? Check out El Mofongo next door. It's pretty good too.

Yelp
My wife and I had an early lunch on this past Saturday. Service was very inattentive. Meals described were incomplete when ordered. No plantains. No chimichurri sauce and A1 steak sauce was the replacement on another dish. No checkup on our table and only 1 round of drinks were ordered and no "Is everything OK". Finally ordered dessert, again no check up afterwards. Mind you, there is no one else in the restaurant. I asked for a manager, and he returned and said no manager was in. Translation: of the 4 men and 1 woman in the restaurant, if one of them were the manager they refused to present themselves as such. After we finished our meal, I had to ask for the check. It had a 15% service charge for 2 ppl. Our server (Zelaya) said it was based on the amount of our check ($86). I've heard of a service charge for large parties, but the sheer audacity. This angered me because there was an assumption that there was good service rendered, and I would be forced to pay it. He produced another receipt without the service charge. Now he refused to return to our table so that I could pay for our meal. My wife just took the receipt to him directly and he processed the payment. I came to the conclusion that we were not wanted there and the perception for someone that looked like us did not have to have any expectation of service. Point in case, another Latin woman came in after we did, but was properly attended to without incident. Why not stop us at the door and prevent us from coming in? I am extremely disappointed with no recourse for my experience. So now, I am an angry Black man in a restaurant with management unwilling to do damage control or care enough to do so. I will never go back. Our server's actions were condoned by the restaurant and they could be so bothered.

Yelp
This feel of this restaurant is definitely a game changer for me. I have yet to visit Cuba but the customer service and the heavy sound of the Cuban culture playing through the speakers invites my soul in. The customers coming in and going out all shouting with joy makes me think they're all family. The original recipe of their food has to come from somebody's mamma who knew how to heal her kids. Please add this place to your calendar of events as you will not be disappointed. Havana Oo Na Na....Thank You for sharing a piece of you with Ame

Andre W.

Yelp
Excellent excellent. Absolutely excellent! The meat is very tender and the food has an incredible beautiful delicious taste. The service is excellent. The food will have you licking your fingers and craving to go back to get some more. Run to this fabulous restaurant that's located in Arlington Texas

Yelp
I wish I could give this food 0 stars but the empanada de picadillo was good. This food was old and dry except for the "yuca" fries that were old and smoked in oil. Not only was the plate I ordered missing stuff but the actual things it had were nasty.I spent $57 on 2 dishes and this is what I got. I'm embarrassed that this is the only Cuban restaurant in Dallas and it's what people get to taste. For $57 I could have fed a family of 4 back in Miami and it would have been delicious and fresh. My countries food is supposed to be made with love not this. Not a single person who worked there was Cuban or knew what they were talking about. It breaks my heart, I'll have to start cooking this myself.

Julisa P.

Yelp
Amazing food... I'm a foodie and love Cuban/ Caribbean food... if you love it as I do... this is a must go to place. Was surprised to find this gem. Will definitely be a regular. The ropa vieja was what I ordered, since I've ordered this at Caribbean cafe and flying pig (both Cuban) was shocked to find this is the best I've had. Flavorful, tender meat.

Yelp
Delicious! We stopped by for lunch and weren't disappointed. I ordered the oxtail with moro rice and plantains. The oxtail was a tad salty, but when mixed with the rice and sweet plantains, the result was heavenly and well-balanced. My brother ordered the Pio Pio and he mentioned it was a little dry. The cuban was really good and priced well. It was huge and filled with three different kinds of pork- yum! My sister split her cuban with my mom and they both said it was very filling. To quench our thirst, we ordered the fruit drinks. They were both a little too sweet for my taste, cloyingly so, but they both enjoyed it. If you have a major sweet tooth, I imagine you'd really like it. We had a great time and will definitely return.

Yelp
I'm a Miami native living in TX and was recently craving an Cuban Sandwich amongst other Cuban dishes. Havana Bar definitely did not disappoint with my expectations, which are high due to the large Cuban culture in Miami. The sandwich was perfect and I will be back again soon!

Yelp
Came here for my last stop before leaving Texas and enjoyed some Cuban food with authentic individuals. It was a great last stop before heading out to Dallas airport before going home. The service was good, but the food took a little longer than I would have expected. It was great to be able to meet the owner and the daughter who served us as well.
