Amazing experience from start to finish. Every dish was absolutely delicious, and the quality of the ingredients really stood out, especially the seafood, which was incredibly fresh. The drinks were also excellent, perfectly crafted and full of flavor. The service was outstanding, attentive, and very personalized. A gesture we truly appreciated was when our server learned that I am pregnant and surprised us with a delicious dessert that wasn’t even on the menu. That level of care made the experience even more special. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place.

New Year’s Eve dinners can be tricky, especially with a fixed menu, kids in tow, and dietary restrictions — but this place somehow made it all feel effortless. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. Even though the evening was a prix fixe menu, they went out of their way to accommodate a gluten- and lactose-intolerant guest without a hint of hesitation or inconvenience. On top of that, they graciously prepared children’s meals for our kids, even though it wasn’t initially an option. That level of flexibility says everything. The service throughout the night was exceptional — thoughtful, patient, and incredibly attentive without ever feeling intrusive. Every interaction felt sincere, like they truly cared about our experience rather than just getting through a busy holiday service. This isn’t our first visit, and it won’t be our last. We come here regularly, and somehow the experience is consistently excellent every single time. New Year’s Eve just reaffirmed why we always recommend this restaurant so highly. It’s rare to find a place that delivers outstanding food and hospitality at this level — especially on a night like that. Simply incredible, as always.

I’m not sure why Google Maps shows a 4.2 rating—this is a wonderful restaurant located on the main street of Rosemary Beach, surrounded by beautiful scenery just like the pictures. My wife and I truly enjoyed the appetizers and the food, which was excellent. Sitting next to the piano while Michael from Tennessee played made the experience even more special. The service was awesome from start to finish. We will definitely visit again.

We came here for brunch before the tour of homes. The food was amazing. The service was wonderful. We had a large party (9) and everything was brought out quick, hot, and correct. The price is a bit higher than some, but location, location, location. It was roughly $50/person.

Really enjoyed their brunch on the veranda. We didn’t have reservations but because it’s off season we only waited for 5 minutes to get a table outside. Wait staff were very friendly and the food and drinks had great flavor. Would definitely return.

Located inside the Pearl Hotel, this is definitely a spot for date night. We sat at the bar prior to our reservation and were given really great craft cocktails. We were seated right at our reservation time. Our server was good and quick, but almost too quick. For the price point of the establishment, he gave the impression of “eat your food and leave as soon as possible so I can take care of the next person”. He was by no means a bad guy, but everything felt rushed. Our food was good and we left satisfied.

The service here was phenomenal! Every person our group interacted with was so kind, friendly, and helpful. We had multiple people with food allergies, and the staff was very accommodating. Plus everyone loved their food! I would recommend making a reservation, which was easy to do online, for a large group.

One word: Ward. Absolutely an incredible server and made our experience for me and my friends for our bachelorette trips experience exceptional. The food was great and he was very energetic and passionate with his recommendations. Will definitely be back and ask for ward again!

For groups of 5 or more, you might as well start by getting every appetizer on the menu. Raw oysters were decent, but still a must. Chase did a great job guiding us through the menu and setting the tone for the dinner. He had an illustrious knowledge of Ernest Hemingway; the inspiration behind the design of the restaurant. Though Ernest Hemingway would have appreciated a swifter effort in the resetting of the table between courses. All in all, great experience. I appreciate the careful curation of the menu to accompany the ambiance of the Gulf of America.

The best Shrimp and Grits I've ever had! I've tried both brunch and dinner here, and while both are good, I'd recommend dinner if you're trying to decide between the two.

The views and vibes at the pearl are amazing. It's worth the subpar and overpriced food. It has wonderful service and great drinks but compared to some of the other restaurants on main it's not the best. The upstairs is MUCH better, if you can get a resv there while there isn't a wedding thurs-sun then you are in luck! Stop by the downstairs for a drink and a view/vibes and it'll do the job.

Arrived for a late lunch on a Monday without a reservation and were seated quickly. Food was delicious and came out fast. Service was very upscale and attentive. The decor of the restaurant was very nice with Cuban accents. They offer a couple options for healthy pressed juices as well.

Havana delivered one of the best meals I've had in recent memory and I 100% recommend it! My wife and I dined here on a Friday night and sat right in front of the piano man. He was quite talented and delivered an endless stream of Elton John, Billy Joel, Ray Charles (and more) covers. My sirloin was grilled to perfection, topped with mushrooms, and delivered with a pair of sides: broccolini and potatoes. So good, so gold. (See pic) My wife ordered the catch of the day and was also satisfied/impressed with her meal, but I caught her looking longingly at my plate a few times so I'm thinking I made the right choice. We finished off the evening sharing the "Love Child" for dessert, a brownie-based dish so good I should've ordered my own... (The ONLY reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that Yelp has this place listed as $$$ and in my opinion it's a $$$$. Worth the money but still, lots of money!)

We took a short staycation near by and decided to grab dinner here one night. I made a reservation the night before for outside dining. When we arrived we were greeted and given a table outside right away. Our server Will was wonderful and attentive. They bring out a variety of bread to start and they were all different and yummy. My husband had a rhubarb cocktail and in our opinion was not good at all- very bitter. I ordered the Ila Jerk Chicken and the chicken was cooked perfectly and had great flavor- also loved the plantains! My husband ordered the strip steak medium rare. It came out extremely rare in the middle and once we were able to let our waiter know he got it sent back to the grill- overall it was good but for the price could have been better. It came with 2 sides that were very yummy! Loved the Brussel sprouts! Fired perfectly with great flavor. We would return.

I got the aisle chicken for dinner here. The chicken was not super flavorful, but the rice and beans were great. The service was great. We sat in a private room for our dinner, but the fire alarm went off about 4 times throughout our dinner. Kind of a bummer, but others at the table enjoyed their seafood so probably better choices there!

The breakfast was delicious at Havana Beach. We were seated immediately. The service was great. The waitress was so nice. Our food was delicious and we had a great view while eating.

My wife and I stopped in on recommendation from a long time, friend. It is located on the terrace at The Pearl Hotel. Must say that there are some great views. My wife and I ordered adult beverages and guacamole dip while we were taking in the scenery. Our server was very polite and friendly! We appreciate it. Overall, a fairly posh spot. Our guacamole dip was delicious as were the adult beverages!

My French Toast was delicious, but the good things end there. Even then the menu says it comes with "mixed berries" on the French toast. When it came out, there were 4 blueberries and 3 slices of strawberry (not even a whole strawberry worth). A group of us went for brunch and they brought everyone's food except for one person. She had to wait an additional 15 minutes. It was very crowded and loud in the space especially for a morning brunch. They also couldn't split checks by meal so we had to figure out Venmo-ing eachother after one person paid for all of us.

We tried this place to seek out new and interesting venues. Sad to say it was sub par at best. Ward was our waiter. Not Good. Food was very bland and just lacking everything that makes a meal a good meal. Asked for hot sauce in hopes of adding flavor to my creole seafood pasta. Ward never returned with the hot sauce. Food was cold and finally the manager came over. It was already a dumpster fire at this point. I'm actually pretty easy going but there was no excuse for this. Will not return. Hope that we caught them on a bad night. We really had high hopes.

We were really excited to try this popular spot in Rosemary Beach so we made a reservation. When we arrived we had to wait in line for a table even after making a reservation, so that was a little disappointing. After being seated, we ordered drinks and two appetizers as we went for a late night bite. The drinks were amazing and the food was good, but not great. The one stand-out was the immaculate ambiance. It was designed with Ernest Hemingway in mind and boasted a beautiful library style vibe throughout. I was impressed by the bar as it looked like a vintage library. All in all, we wish we had a better experience as we were so excited, but it fell short due to the wait time and lackluster food. We would give it another chance though because our waiter was great and the ambiance was beautiful.

I seemed to have had a similar experience as several other reviewers here wherein I was not actually able to dine here due to the rude hostess. I wonder if The Pearl realized how much money they are losing because of her? I arrived at 1:30, at least half the restaurant was empty. She said that they stopped seating people at 1:45 so she couldn't seat us. We said that it was still 1:30? And she basically just said yes so I can't seat you. What????? Don't bother going here, try cowgirl across the street instead where the staff were actually nice.

We came in as a party of six, including U.S. Air Force servicemembers and a contractor. Our server, Jelena, gave us horrible service--never checked on us, had a bad attitude, and I had to grab her attention each time despite the restaurant not being busy. Our servicemembers work hard to protect this country and deserve respect, not to be treated like an afterthought. She missed out on a good tip because the service was trash. The view and décor were beautiful, but Jelena's lack of respect ruined the experience.

My wife and I just stopped in hoping for a nice cocktail and snack. The guy at the door was extremely polite, friendly, and welcoming. However, when we got inside the three people at the hostess stand were extremely rude and turned us away, in spite of almost all of their tables, inside and out, being empty. The girl didn't even let me finish asking about a table before she interrupted me and sent us away. We were dressed nicely, not in beach wear, and were very polite. Not sure what the problem was. I don't do rude, and neither should anyone else.

A yummy dinner was enjoyed at the Havanna Beach Bar & Grill located at The Pearl Hotel. This lovely restaurant had a hopping bar all evening long serving up classic cocktails, too. For starters, the classic Manhattan and Hemingway Daiquiri were great and got the evening going. The 6 Alabama raw oysters on the half were terrific as well as the accompanying condiments! I would have been happy with a dozen for dinner! My 6oz beef tenderloin was cooked perfectly medium as requested. The accompanying side of crispy Brussel sprouts were exactly that - crispy, but perhaps a bit over cooked. The potatoes au gratin were creamy and very cheesy. Hubs thoroughly enjoyed the Shrimp and Grits, and his Caesar salad of fresh, crunchy romaine with classic dressing. Lastly, the seasonal Chewy cake dessert was good but not a reorder says hubs. My choice of a cocktail for dessert, the Midnight Toast, was great! This new seasonal cocktail seems an upscale take on a Pina Colada with a creative mix of cognac, coconut rum, apricot liqueur, coconut purée, pineapple, and a touch of maple syrup. Note - it is not frozen. This toddy is garnished with a toasted marshmallow and rimmed with grated coconut. This made for a wonderful dessert! Service was on point all evening. We will return!

Sat at the bar for lunch on a Wednesday. No bar tender for about 15 min. There was only one other person at the bar when we arrived. By the time the bartender arrived he gave us water and menus, but then other people arrived. He got their drink orders and served them and still hadn't taken our drink order we got up and left very disappointing. This is our third time there and the experience has been similar probably not going back again too many other good options

The hotel was nice, the restaurant was clean, food was good. Their only downfall was the service. The bartender was behind that day we were told but everything took forever. We waited a long time for anyone to greet us and to receive our drinks. We were waiting for orange juice for a long time. Someone else finally brought it to us. Definitely worth trying for the ambiance and food was good. Hopefully it was just an off day with service. Even other tables next to us were waiting for their drinks as well though it didn't look that busy and they take reservations. I would recommend trying the restaurant out though the food was good.

Breakfast was delicious. Had the herbivore omelet and carrot, ginger, and tumeric juice. Erin was my server and she was great. The flies outside were insanely annoying, even with the fly fan they put on the table. They should put up screens or find a way to keep the flys away.

Unfortunately, had a terrible experience with the hostess (Rose), which soured the entire experience. I was visiting with two friends and when we asked for a seat the hostess said they had nothing available even with plenty of open seats and tons of availability online. I ended up walking away booking a reservation that was 10 mins from the current time, then going back up to the stand to let her know we had a reservation. She then rudely told me to wait before seating us. I spoke to the manager who was wonderful but deeply upset by the profiling experience.

Havana was a super cute restaurant located in the Pearl hotel. We went to celebrate my friends birthday and the food was really good. It had quite a bit of flavor and the presentation was nice. The drink menu was also very long and had lots of different options! The atmosphere was creative as the restaurant was based off of old Cuba. It was a little loud inside as sound did carry throughout the restaurant which disrupted our meal slightly but I still do recommend trying this place out. The server was fun and kind but when we were trying to light candles for my friends celebration he gathered the plates and left them all at the end of the table which was unfortunate because they were in all of the photos we took.

We had an amazing experience at Havana. The food was wonderful and the environment was exceptional. I will stay that out Waiter, Ward made our experience wonderful. He was very attentive, kind, and patient with us. He made our experience wonderful. I will make sure to request his section next time we are in town!!

Fantastic food, service, and scenery! We were seated on the patio 20 minutes early, our reservation was for 6pm and they were able to get us in at 5:40pm. You have beautiful views of the street from the patio, I highly recommend getting a table outside. Our waiter was super accommodating and friendly, constantly checking in on us and refilling our drinks. For starters, we had the pork empanadas, which were very hot and fresh when they arrived. The chimichurri sauce that came with it was light and tasteful, a bit more on the limey side. They bring out complimentary assorted breads with an oyster butter that I enjoyed. For our entree, we split a 16oz medium well ribeye. There is an up charge for them to split the steak, but I think it's worth it. The steak meal comes with cheesy scalloped potatoes and fried brussels sprouts. Everything was so delicious, the steak was juicy, the potatoes were creamy and hot, and the brussels sprouts were light and crispy. We also ordered a side of Mac and cheese, however I feel we could've done without them as they taste very similar to the cheesy potatoes.

Very good brunch, sit outside it's perfect, the service is good but the food is amazing. Try the tuna dip.

Came here tonight for dinner on a Tuesday night. We made a reservation beforehand and was seated inside at a table by the window with a pretty bad view considering we came to the restaurant for the view. Service was decent but could've been better. I got the chicken and my friend got the pasta. My chicken was small, decent, but way overpriced at $35, but my friend really enjoyed her pasta!

Nice atmosphere. Went for dinner and did make a reservation. Food was delicious. Filet and ribeye cooked perfectly. Chicken was not dry and tasty. Grouper was good. Fries were ok, I wouldn't order again. Mac n cheese and Brussels were amazing!

Such a great bar with very friendly staff. Even if you don't embibe, it's a fantastic atmosphere.

On a recent beach trip, my friends and I dined here for a birthday meal. We were unable to make reservations so we arrived around 6pm hoping for a table. The inside dining area was full but we were offered seating on the porch with no wait. The hostess gave us an excellent table with perfect views of the sunset. We enjoyed good service throughout our meal but our server was not particularly friendly or warm - no big deal. We ordered a couple rounds of drinks, dinner, and were given complimentary birthday dessert. My meal consisted of the following: - Havana Beach Salad - Arcadian mixed greens, baby tomatoes, cucumber, avocado, pickled red onion, toasted pepitas, tossed in a French country champagne vinaigrette. - The Mandy Burger* - Brasstown beef patty, candied apple-cider pepper bacon, Boursin cheese, crispy fried onions on a toasted brioche bun - Gourmet Mac & Cheese The beach salad sounded too good to pass up, but was a bit disappointing as nothing really wow'ed me. I think that is a typical theme for this restaurant based on my experience. I asked the server for his recommendation and he advised most people order The Mandy Burger but also a few other entrees. Since it was the first thing he mentioned, I ended up choosing The Mandy Burger and although the description sounded amazing on the menu, it again did not live up to amazing expectations. It was a sauceless and dry - I only ate half of the burger during my meal. For a $26 burger I've definitely had much, much better at half the price. The gourmet mac and cheese is delicious - I would recommend this but be warned there was a $5 upcharge to sub as a side for my burger. Overall, I think Havana Beach Club had high promises but delivered short on the food. Come here for a cocktail, for an appetizer or light fare, but don't spend $100+ for dinner; there are probably better options in the area.

I ate here a couple of nights ago with friends - it was the only time we could see each other during a dual beach visit. One of the girls I was with has a SEVERE nut allergy, which we took the time to let the serving staff know about well ahead of time and made sure that they were able to accommodate her order with this in mind. She was served almonds in her Brussels sprouts. It was absolutely terrifying - when she realized what had happened she started shaking out of fear of a reaction, and had to take Benadryl immediately to combat any potential symptoms. She had already started eating before we realized the mistake. I mean seriously it ruined the ENTIRE night, and not only that - the waitstaff honestly did not seem like they cared. I had to go and BEG the hostess to have the meal comped. I had to convince her that my friend deserved to not have to pay for her meal that she could not eat. And could have potentially done really serious damage (like, anaphylactic shock damage!) This whole encounter was infuriating. I just did not feel like the staff cared all that much. Also for me to have to ASK to get her meal comped? Was insane. They didn't even comp her Diet Coke. I think the whole meal should have been paid for and that we should have been treated with more concern. Not to mention that I had to pay over $75 for a meal that was ruined by the whole endeavor. I don't think any of us should have paid a penny for the service or the food. It was horrible!

Service was great, food was really good for a hotel restaurant. We ate brunch here twice while staying in the area. Highly recommend their yogurt with seasonal fruit and shrimp and grits. Didn't love the avocado puree toast.

We have been visiting for several years and hate to say each time it has been worse than previous but we keep hoping it would be better. My wife and I stopped in for drinks before dinner and decided to only stay for 1 drink. This will be our last time. We sat at the bar and luckily got 2 seats quickly. Bartender saw us sit down, passed us by 4x without making any contact or simple, "hi welcome, I will be right with you." We ordered 1 drink each and I'm including copy of receipt to show how ridiculous this place is. 1 Codigo tequila mule and 1 Glenlivet on the rocks. We were charged $5.00 for the "mule" because of ingredients and the bartender said because of what they have to use to make a mule? Ginger beer, lime juice, splash of simple syrup??? Really... then I asked if there is an up charge for ice and club? My mistake for wasting a great tequila with added ingredients but come on... The staff and management should be ashamed of this and stop the price gauging.... Too bad this will be our last time in... By the way if the bartender had explained it or was willing to make an exception, the $5.00 up charge would have gone to her as a tip and we would have stayed for another drink and dinner but no way.... Wish it was better but it's just not!

After being disappointed with the food in Rosemary beach area for the past 2 days, it was so refreshing to finally have some good food. Best place to eat brunch that we have found so far. Fresh juice was refreshing and a perfect balance of all ingredients. The ropa vieja hash was awesome as well and well balanced, and finished the meal with the stuffed torrejas which were just a touch of sweet although it may look sweet. Basically this meal was a perfect balance all around. Service was very friendly and attentive.

Good food, pretty pricey, but great service. The cocktails were particularly delicious! Nice ambiance, no outdoor seating.

We got in early to the hotel so our room wasn't ready. We decided to grab a late lunch at their restaurant. Even during the afternoon, every table seemed to be filled with people. We ordered their grouper and ABLT sandwich and Mac-n-cheese for our little one. Everything was good. Came out quickly and waitress was attentive to anything we needed

Came here while in town for a Bachelorette party and had a wonderful meal. The staff was very friendly took into consideration food allergies (we had a gluten and pork allergy in our group) and the even took time to let us know how we could modify items on the menu to make them allergy friendly. The restaurant is stunning and is attached to a hotel. While the restaurant itself was gorgeous and the service was good, the food came out incredibly slow. We waiting closer to an hour for anything besides bread to come out and some people in our waited longer than an hour hour Cesar salads with chicken which they were told came in a dinner size but then got the same size as my side salad. I got the shrimp and grits without sausage, and it was absolutely delicious, but sadly, not many people at the table enjoyed their meals. A lot of the food came out overcooked.

If you're planning pre dinner cocktails, start with the rooftop bar, they have a broader selection and an excellent painkiller. Back downstairs for dinner, the salads were side salad sized. Wife ordered hers with blackened grouper and it was a generous portion of fish that made it a nice meal. She really liked the grouper. Shrimp and grits included a large pile of shrimp along with some tasty andouille sausage coins. It was a nice plate, though personally I found little it a little rich and cloying.

The Havana club has improved dramatically over the last 18 months. Unfortunately after my good experiences I decided to book for New Year's Eve which was easy enough and had the same steps as previously. The issues were. 1. The pre fixed menu was priced at $195 per person which I was only aware of when I arrived, I could have opened a small pop up under events to read when booking but why would I? I had a similar but better dinner there the previous week for 2 and it was $250, my bill was $600. That's called price gouging and unacceptable to a local like myself or anyone else. 2. Food was pre made and heated to serve. Which made my dinner worse than the previous week experience. 3. When I communicated to the business no response on this matter. Good news is service was good as usual. Sorry to see them take advantage of people including myself while serving inferior product.

This spot is the perfect dinner spot to come after a day at the beach or just to celebrate an occasion or have a good time with friends! The space is extremely clean and leans into the Havana theme very nicely with the decor and staff outfits. As for the food, pretty good amount of options. We went with a party of 10 and we got everything from the seafood pasta, mojo empanadas, salads, and everything was amazing! A must try is definitely the Church Lady chocolate cake dessert, truly one of the best desserts I've had in a while! Bonus: our server Ethan was so awesome!

Service was HORRIBLE. The "on shift manager" was horrible as well and lied to our faces. The gal who was supposed to be our server did nothing, we had to get up to get another server to help us, which he did ALL her work, took our order, brought us our food - we asked to have the automatic tip go to him and the "manager" said he took care of it but left our original server on the bill to get the tip. HORRIBLE Business practices

Our server Brianna was amazing! She offered a mocktail to my pregnant wife that was delicious and made her day. Patrick, the manager, gave us the story of the onion soup that my wife ordered, it was so good that made my empanadas (that were delicious) look bad, but Patrick noticed it and brought an extra onion soup on the house that made my day. The rest of the food and drinks were amazing and the service was A+. Going here to spend our anniversary (coming from Miami) was an excellent idea! Will definitely be back when going back to Destin!

Havana Beach Bar & Grill is The Pearl hotel's restaurant. There is seating inside and outside the hotel and offers stunning views of Rosemary Beach and the ocean. Their outdoor seating is a great spot to enjoy a meal at on a warm sunny day. My friend and I came here for brunch and it was pretty yummy. I got the avocado toast which tasted good. Other brunch menu options are eggs benedict, omelets and french toast. This place gets pretty busy. You can check-in with the hostess and they'll text you when your table is ready. The staff is nice. I'd definitely come back to eat here again.

We stopped for brunch during a day trip to Rosemary Beach. The hotel is beautiful so we thought the food would be amazing. The food was ok. We felt it was under spiced and pretty bland, especially for Cuban inspired food. The service was lacking and we never got drink refills during the entire meal. We would probably choose another restaurant if we were in the area again

We ate on the rooftop for a late lunch. The tacos and burgers were amazing, and decently sized/priced, not to mention the view was oceanside and beautiful. Our waiter was very attentive and had good suggestions for the food and drinks. And as for the drink menu, we each tried a different cocktail, they were all strong and smooth and perfect. Solid choice for Rosemary beach!

Great service and brunch at the bar. Ben out bartender is excellent! Only issue is finding parking.
