Botanist is opening a rooftop marketplace | Eater Portland

"Opening sometime in mid-August, Havana Cafe will be a Cuban restaurant from chef Pablo Portilla, who previously led the now-shuttered taco spot Mi Mero Mole and will be cooking dishes based on recipes he learned from his grandmother. Visited on my birthday with my best friend. We had some gin tonics, pastis, and some champagne. Overall, this bar turned a good birthday into an excellent birthday. Pros: - relaxing terrace - good drinks prices - very friendly and attentive server Cons: - it was busy, so service wasn't super fast. This isn't really a negative because the server is attentive, meaning you can order the next round before finishing the first.
