The Best Places to Eat and Drink in Walnut Creek | Eater SF

"This Cuban restaurant is nestled on a busy restaurant strip in Walnut Creek, but worth stopping in for its puerco Cubano, a roasted pork shoulder, or the Chino-Cubano fried rice. The brunch menu gets playful, with a croque-monsieur and Cubano mashup called the Croque Cubano, and there’s a bottomless brunch drink options if that’s your thing." - Dianne de Guzman

Food: 4/5 Service: 3/5 Ambiance: 3/5 Portion to Price: 3/5 Overall: There aren't many Cuban places around so I'd definitely come back. Overall it's pretty standard fare. The extended review... Food: Ropq Vieja - 4/5 - A decent dish and usually a go to for me at any Cuban restaurant. Taste was standard fare. Service: 3/5 - Standard service. Ambiance: 3/5 - A nice setting with a decent amount of seating. Portion to Price: 3/5 - Standard portion size.

I have nothing bad to say! I enjoyed everything I tried and I tried A LOT!! lol Service was also great! The only thing I will say though is that as a lover of shellfish I was disappointed that the traditional paella wasn’t as good as the veggie paella but it was still good for sure! Check out the pics of our spread! Let’s just say we left very satisfied

Viva bottomless mojitos!! We had an excellent brunch here on a Saturday morning, with bottomless mojitos (3 flavors available) and mimosas both on the menu. Great deal! Also had a cuban sandwich that was crispy and delicious. Highly recommended! Plenty of other options on the menu, but as they say, when in Havana, do as the Cubans do (or something like that). 😃 Special shout out to our bartender Holly, who took great care of us and made our long morning a memorable one. Great job and great service! Will definitely come again on my next visit to Walnut Creek. Olympic Otter

This was our first visit, just walking looking for a place to dine and came upon this place. Our server was Joe and he was fantastic. We enjoyed everything we ordered and the items that he recommended including our cocktails! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. We will definitely be back! Tapas are good size. There was just two of us, but we even had leftovers :)

Google
Lively local spot with great spot and amazing service. Been coming here for years and I especially like to bring out of towner friends and family that haven't had Cuban food before. The owner is often there and has sat down at our table to chat on multiple occasions. They space is very inviting and the music sets a fun tone from the moment you walk in. The outstanding service and atmosphere are highlights that keep me coming back. None of that stuff matters unless the food is good though and there are some phenomenal dishes here. The Cubano Chino fried rice is delicious and the kale salad are fusion dishes that I can't recommend highly enough. I particularly enjoy that the menu is tapas style so there are always a bunch of great things on the table to sample. I'm not sure if this authentic Cuban food like your abuela used to make or anything like that but I can say that it's delicious, well presented, and that I'm always surprised at how much you get for whatever the final bill comes out to be. And between the staff and the music choices it's basically impossible not to have a good time here. Great for a quick lunch, happy hour or a Friday night date night walking around downtown Walnut Creek.

Google
I really like this place. It's hard to find good rum these days, but not here! Havana has a lot of good rum to choose from. We had the brunch and bottomless mojitos.... Yep. I'll be back.

From the palm trees framing the front windows to the mosaic tiles at the bar in the back, the ambiance was great. It's a whole vibe The service was stellar. The food was amazing. The portions were huge. The meats were tender. I'm not an adventurous eater, but everything pleased my palate. We're going back for more... soon.

Google
What a wonderful surprise to come upon Havana in Walnut Creek. The food was inspired - we had lamb chops, paella, and delicious mojitos. It was all flavorful and perfectly prepared. The service was top notch - shot out to Storm who made us feel so welcomed and absolutely elevated the evening. We cannot wait to return!

Yelp
My wife and I enjoyed a birthday dinner at Havana's on a Sunday night, and, having been here previously, found everything to be perfect again. The food was spicy and delicious along with the Pineapple Habanero mojito. We shared the crusted shrimp appetizer and both ordered the cod entree. Joe, our server, was attentive and spent just the right amount of time checking on us and making sure our night was enjoyable. Definitely a restaurant we will continue to enjoy.

Yelp
Loved the service at Havana! Carly was so sweet and attentive. I definitely will be coming back

Yelp
I came in simply because I love Cuban food, and Havana absolutely delivered. From the moment you walk in, the Cuban-inspired theme hits you -- vibrant, warm, and done so eloquently without feeling over the top. The tables were set perfectly, giving the whole space an elevated yet welcoming feel. I started with the mash and guacamole and it was out of sight. Fresh, flavorful, and the kind of appetizer that immediately tells you you're in the right place. Then came the ropa vieja empanadas -- and these slapped so hard. Crispy on the outside, packed with rich, soulful flavor on the inside, exactly how empanadas should be done. To close it out, I ordered the ropa vieja, and that dish carried it all the way home. Deep, comforting, slow-cooked flavor that reminds you why Cuban food hits the heart the way it does. The service deserves its own shout-out. My waitress was amazing -- charming, funny, and incredibly attentive without ever hovering. I wish I remembered her name, but she was from Pittsburgh and had me laughing throughout the meal. That kind of genuine hospitality makes a huge difference. As if the night wasn't already great, as I was about to leave the owner personally came over and presented me with a cigar. That touch of class sealed the deal. We talked about my trip and his family's trip to Cuba -- real conversation, real connection, no rush. That's the kind of hospitality you don't forget. Amazing food, exceptional service, and hospitality that goes far beyond the plate. This is a place I'll absolutely be recommending to everyone going forward, and one I'm already looking forward to returning to.

Yelp
Maddi and Sienna made our experience at Havana absolutely wonderful. From the moment we sat down, they were warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing. Their menu suggestions were spot-on and really elevated our meal -- you can tell they genuinely know and care about the food and the guest experience. Our drinks were always full, timing was perfect, and they checked in just the right amount. It's rare to get service that feels both professional and genuinely kind, but Maddi and Sienna nailed it. Because of them, we'll definitely be back and asking for them again. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Traveled to Walnut Creek last weekend to take in a holiday play (A Christmas Carol) at the Lesher Center. I wanted a restaurant with tasty food, and not too noisy and within walking distance of the theatre. Found Havana and make a reservation. We arrived a little early and were greeted by a friendly hostess and seated immediately. The vibe is classy and cozy. We reviewed the menu and had a hard choice between the many choices of Mojito. I chose the Cherry-Ginger Gin Mojito and my wife had the Blood Orange-Sage. Both were delicious! After reviewing the menu with our server Jeff, we chose to order off the Tapas menu, sharing several small dishes. We started with the Roja Vieja Empanadas with a Chipotle Aioli, the Grilled Shrimp with Sofrito Rice, and the Day Scallops with Truffle-Cumin Crema. My favorite was the Shrimps and my wife loved the Day Scallops - but honestly everything was flavorful. We ordered a second round of Mojito my wife staying with her original Mojito while I switched to the Pear-Clove, wanting to try a different flavor. This blend of 5 liquid ingredients and fresh muddled mint was also delicious. We capped off the dinner with a shared Caramel Rum Flan which was divine. We learned from Jeff they often have live music on Thursdays and have Mojito specials several days. We will definitely return to Havana - the only challenge is which Mojito to order on our next visit!

Yelp
Had dinner with my wife and daughter here on a Saturday night. Really nice food with good music. There was a lot of high table seating, which we usually try to avoid but there wasn't an option to choose a regular table during my reservation. Loved the food, the scallops had a great sear. The potatoes had a sweet taste which was nice. The kids chicken was ok, I enjoyed the corn that she had (though my daughter didn't like it). Lamb was really good, not gamey at all. Chimichurri steak medium well was cooked perfectly. Fried rice was nice but there wasn't a lot of oil at the bottom. Paella was good as well but just not as crispy as trleferic or va de vi. Nice place to try and really great service

Yelp
Nice place, good service, friendly people! The wings were very delicious and had lots of flavor !! I got the skirt steak and it was pretty good, more flavorful than your average skirt steak ! The mashed potatoes were too sweet for my liking and the corn was good, nothing special. The churros was very yummy !!

Yelp
Joe was our server and he was very attentive and friendly. We ordered more than what's pictured but the green garlic and cauliflower paella was really good!

Yelp
Came in late yesterday and treated wonderfully by Carly who made sure we were taken care of throughout our dinner. The mojitos were refreshing and had interesting flavor combos. The rioja beef empanadas had a rich buttery crust and savory filling. We then dove into the paella that was filled with plenty of chicken and seafood, with al dente rice and saffron flavored. The sides of sauteed plantains were a great accompaniment. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Yelp
First time at this restaurant and I loved the atmosphere. Carly was very attentive and gave us flexibility as my friends and I hadn't seen each other in a few years. I did lose my cardigan here but that's on me. Great service and tasty drinks and tapas. Highly recommend. Parking is street parking however the street parking meters end at 8pm so it's free afterward.

Yelp
1000% yes Every single time we come here the food is amazing!!! It taste just like my grandmas Cuban dishes and I appreciate that so much!!! The service is always top notch, food is always out quick!!! The ambiance is very old school Cuba, romantic and overall very nice.

Yelp
Delicious drinks and great ropa vieja empanadas! I went on a Saturday night and it was packed and a little loud for me but the service was exceptional!

Yelp
One of my favorite spots! I have been here about 20 times. I love the amazing rum selections. They have a magnificent bartender, J.P.(Juan Paulo). The key dishes are good! I wish they had more fresh fish and vegetable dishes. I eat the shrimp and scallop dishes and plantains most visits.

Yelp
Popped in today to have brunch with a friend and we were not dissatisfied on any level! I arrived a little early so I decided to grab a drink while I wanted. Bartender was so friendly and helpful. I ordered a spicy margarita and it was perfect! I could taste the alcohol and all of mixers that were in it, 10/10! My friend showed up and we checked in with the friendly hostess and were sat right away. Seats were comfy, and waitress (Maddie) came up immediately to introduce herself and ask if we wanted anything to drink. We selected bottomless mimosas and bottomless mojitos (only $22 each!!) Maddie kept our drinks full and we appreciated it!! Next we ordered food: Chicken chiliquiles and eggs Benedict. Omg let me tell you that my Chiliquiles were top tier!! Chicken was shredded and seasoned perfectly and just had the right amount of everything!!' My friend loved her eggs Benedict as well. So much good to say about this place. Maddie was amazing checked on us constantly, kept the drinks filled, was very friendly. The ambiance is modern, stylish but simple at the same time & very clean! This is the type of place that you can host a nice birthday dinner or go have date night. Food is top tier and so good... and the drinks, perfection! Come check out this place, it's a gem!

Yelp
OH YES! Mojito, plantains and guac, flank steak. That's my order. The vibe is always warm and lively. There is a cool mix between it girl and family friendly energy. I don't know how to explain that but I know I like it! The staff here are some of the best this whole area has to offer. I have come back many times and will continue to!

Yelp
My mom and mother-in-law planned a baby shower for my husband and I and they had nothing but good things to say about Havana's catering! Joelle, the owner, was responsive, detailed and attentive. Michael, the delivery driver, was nice, friendly, organized, and he knew exactly what to do with the set-up. The quality of the food was great and the set-up process overall was quick and efficient. All in all, they were impressed by Havana's customer service from start to finish! And of course, the guests loved the food! Separate from this, my husband and I have eaten at the restaurant and have always loved the food, so we were thrilled to have had this at our baby shower!

Yelp
Pretty good food! We went on a Friday night and it was busy. We made a reservation but reservation is probably not required. We ordered fried plantain as an appetizer, and it was really good. The plantain and the sauce together were tangy and delicious. I highly recommend. For dessert we had churros with chocolate dip. The churros were a little bit harder than I expected. For the main dish I got the fish and it was pretty good. The vibes were immaculate!

Yelp
Went in for a bite and one drink- ended up having bottomless mojitos! Our server Carly was so on top of things and such a sweet heart, she got our refills to us quickly as well as our food, and took great care of us! We had the veggie empanada, the shrimps, yucca fries, plantain chips with avocado, a Cubano and the sea bass ceviche, which she recommended over the tuna tartare and ended up being so delicious! The fish had a great texture and the sauce was perfectly citrusy. The mojitos of the day were blood orange, passion fruit and regular and all were good but the orange was my fave. Also $23 for bottomless was a steal! Love this place, have been before and will return.

Yelp
Where do I begin?... First, the ambiance. The moment we walked in to the restaurant we felt a good, warm vibe. We were greeted by a friendly gentleman who led us tonour table. The music was perfect- rumba or salsa or some kind of fabulous mix like that, and playing at the perfect volume (in our opinion). There were lovely pieces of art on the walls, mirrors everywhere, and a beautiful, cozy bar. Aaaaaaand the place was decorated all Christmas-y too which just added to the good vibes. Second, our server. We were lucky to have Madeline as our server. She was absolutely fantastic. She had wonderful, kind, sincere, positive energy that really set the tone for the evening. There were 8 of us coming from all over the bay area so we didn't all arrive at the same time unfortunately due to traffic, but Madeline never once made us feel rushed or feel bad about it. My boyfriend and I have been working in restaurants for over 20 years and we both found her to be one of the best servers we have had when dining out and both agreed that she is the type of person we would love to work alongside in a restaurant. Her timing was perfect for everything. She never made us feel rushed, she was honest with us about portions and didn't try to oversell which we especially appreciate. Her suggestions were great, she was attentive, and was always around when we needed her. Madeline is truly a star. The manager (we feel terrible because we didn't catch his name) was also incredibly warm and welcoming and went above and beyond to make me feel special on my birthday. We left all agreeing that we would be back, no doubt about it. Those two truly made our evening. Lastly, the food. Wowzas! Literally everything was amazing. We ordered a bunch of things and ate family style. We started out with the Spiced Yucca chips and mango salsa and fried Plantain chips w guac. I could eat both of those all day everyday. Next, we had the ham & cheese croquettes, Ahi Tuna tartar, grilled shrimp w/ rice, mango & spinach salad, yucca fries, the cubano (best I've had thus far. We ordered a 2nd one). 3rd round we had the Cubano fried rice w/ shrimp & pork belly, the beef Ropa Vieja, the pollo Ropa Vieja, the chimichurri skirt steak con mashed boniato, y lamb chops. Wowwwwww. Not a speck of food left on any of the plates. For dessert we ordered the sorbet duo (mango and raspberry this particular evening), coconut tres leches cake (I could have ate 3 pieces myself because it was THAT delicious) and the churros w/ chocolate sauce. Absolutely fantastic. Literally every dish was delicious. There was nothing that we didn't like. Everyone was so content, perfectly full, and truly enjoyed the entire experience. I forgot to mention the mojitos!! I ordered an apricot/tarragon mojito and it was super tasty. Nicely balanced and refreshing. My boyfriend, his mom, and his 2 sisters each got virgin mojitos and they all loved theirs. Any of their regular mojitos (they have like 8-10 options for mojitos alone) can be made as virgin mojitos which I wish I could give Havana an extra star for. It is SO nice to know that they have thought about the non-alcohol drinkers out there and have fun, creative options for those who still want to partake in the festivities but can't drink alcohol for whatever reason. All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant. Truly a wonderful dining experience and a beautiful birthday celebration with family. Havana has gained 8 new fans that will most certainly be back. Make a reservation. Do it. You won't regret it. Enjoy the food, service, and good vibes everyone! Cheers!

Yelp
Came on a Thursday night with some friends. We made reservation just incase but when we arrived at 7:30 it wasn't too busy. I'm sure on weekends it can get busy. Parking can be an issue so be prepared for that. Nice spacious dinning area and they also have a bar. We were seated quickly and our server was nice and attended to us right away. We ordered a little bit of everything to try empanadas, fried plantains, chino cubana fried rice(this was my favorite),lamb chops and mango spinach salad and everything was delicious. Of course we also had to get a pitcher of thier original mojito and it was refreshing. They were very helpful and careful regarding food allergies as I have seafood allery.

Yelp
I came here with a craving for a popular Cuban spot down in LA and left craving unsatisfied. I'll start with the memorable... the mojitos and the paella. I came to catch up with an old friend, and didn't know that Mojito Monday was a thing. Apparently, on Monday's, mojitos are 50% off. So even though I had no plans of drinking, I'm a sucker for a good deal and couldn't say no. I ordered one that had jalapeño and it was so delicious and such a deal I had to get a second. The green garlic and cauliflower paella was not something we originally ordered, but some thing I was intrigued by after a Mojito and some tapas. Glad we did because it was good, filling, and shareable for 3 and still had leftover for lunch the following day. The other things we ordered to share, tapas, were okay but never quite hit the mark for me. The yucca fries were ok but the star of that was the green sauce. One of the sauces was too cumin-y for me. The ropa vieja empanadas were also ok but some bites were good and others left you wanting more... basically filling wasn't enough. The ceviche is something I never need to order here again. Good in theory, but the odor of the fish was too much for me. Actually maybe that just all their seafood or maybe that day because the table next to me ordered something else that was too fishy and kinda soured my experience if you can't tell. Anyway, the place is cute, the staff great, the drinks good, the food... nothing to write home about. But maybe I ordered the wrong things.

Yelp
My husband and I took our parents here to celebrate Father's Day this weekend. There aren't many Cuban restaurants in the Bay Area and we were very surprised to find one in the heart of Walnut Creek. Parking: street parking or city parking lots. Ambiance: spacious, modern, sleek with lots of black and white. There is counter seating in the middle of the restaurant with table seating on the sides. There's also an open bar area as well. Great spot for family celebrations or date nights. Service: attentive. We were a party of 6 so we order quite a bit of tapas and 4 entrees to share and we didn't have to wait long for food to come out. We did have some difficulty flagging someone for more utensils but the restaurant was busy at the time so it was acceptable. When we were done, the plates were cleared efficiently and the waitress brought our check quickly without us having to remind her. Food: 2/5. This is where the stars dropped. With the exception of the mojo chicken wings, the pork shoulders, and the steak, the rest of food we ordered were pretty heavy in terms of salt. The most salty dish was the paella. Presentation was beautiful for each plate and portion size was reasonable but the taste was very mediocre. We ordered the scallops, the mojo chicken wings, the lamp chops, the chino-Cuban fried rice, the paella, the puerco cubano and the chimichurri steak. The Cuban fried rice, although not as salty as the paella, was too mushy. Cost: $$. Even with the mandatory 20% service charge given we were a big party, the meal itself wasn't too expensive given the portion size, and the presentation of the food. Overall, we won't return.

Yelp
The good: Service was excellent, Grilled Shrimp, Chimichurri steak, fried chicken and the sofrito rice were good but not spectacular. Cute decor. Pricing through the roof. The bad: the Ropa Vieja was terrible. Overly salty beef with plantains that lacked flavor. The black beans were undercooked, literally al dente tasting. The mashed potatoes were too sweet. The Waffle was inexplicably spicy. While I loved the Grilled Shrimp and Sofrito rice, everything else about this place was terribly mid especially for the price. Their Ropa Vieja and black beans were the worst I've ever had. It is sad because I so love Cuban food. I really want to like this place but can't recommend this place due to the price and flavors. The pricing is insane for beans, rice and stewed meat. You'd think this Ropa Vieja was made of ribeye or short rib, at the price point listed. The plantains should be sweeter, the black beans need to be cooked more, and the chef needs to take it easy on the salt for the Ropa Vieja.

Yelp
We came here for a wedding rehearsal dinner! They very kindly setup and accommodated a table of like 15 of us. The wait staff was very friendly and informative. We had trouble doing food math lol since we were going to share all the food and didn't know how large the portions of food were, especially since it was a mix of tapas and paella. They helped us out ordering. My favorite must have been the scallops that came on mashed potatoes lol. So yummy. We also tried deep fried plaintains, kale salad, seafood paella. Now that I look at the menu again, I regret not trying more hahah like the empanadas, shrimp, wings, ropa vieja, chimichurri skirt steak?! It was just a bit chaotic and I was distracted - not knowing who ordered what for the table! Next time! There was also live music and it was super cute, my friend's parents started salsa dancing. What a fun vibe! This restaurant is worth a visit especially on these live music nights haha, and when you're in the area craving tapas or paella. Wine and mojitos and dessert also available - come through!

Yelp
AMAAAAAZZZING EXPERIENCE!!! We came around closing time but the service was unmatched. PATTY*** was the sweetest person ever and made our dinner so pleasant. She checked up on us a bunch and made sure we were okay, and had the best recommendations. ++ made us feel so comfortable ahhhhh. Loved her so much! Seriously cannot explain in words, best service that I've had in a restaurant in a while. Ontop of that, the food was top tier!! We had the mango salsa, the chicken roja, and chimichurri steak. All were so good, especially the mango salsa with plantain chips. Sooo good omg. We also got some drinks; the havana tropics and watermelon-cucumber vodka. They were both so yummy but I personally really loveddd the havana tropics. & OMG the churros with chocolate sauce. You need to get those!! If you get anything, please do yourself a favor and get the churros. It was such a great experience here! Would definitely come back again. The food and environment were great. The lights were pretty and it was the perfect place to have our dinner.

Yelp
We had a fabulous New Years Eve dinner here. Started off with mojitos ~ so many interesting flavors to try! The mojo wings and plantain crusted cod were delicious (and perfectly cooked) and the flan wrapped up our meal perfectly. Thanks to the hostess, Mia and Jeff for taking excellent care of us. The music and vibe had me wanting to book a trip to Cuba, but in the meantime we will definitely be back to explore more of Havana's menu and check out the live music and brunch!

Yelp
We came here with a weekend reservation for a double date, having had Havana bookmarked for years- super excited to try it. Unfortunately, we left a lot of food uneaten and were very underwhelmed with the quality for the price. I'm sad that we all didn't have a good experience as this was a restaurant we were looking forward to, but it looks like there was an issue with dishes not being cooked through. - plantains: hard inside! This is hard to mess up too. - yuca fries: bland and not cooked through. - chimichurri steak: this was decent, not super tender. - paella: so, so wet and quite bland. - shrimp: this was probably my favorite out of all of them, and it was just okay. - chicken wings: decent enough.

Yelp
Havana has tasty food and cocktails. I had a mojito, which was very fresh; I enjoyed the mint. The pork was good. My wife got a plate with beef, rice, and beans. It comes with a fried banana. We both enjoyed the food. The ambiance is nice, slightly upscale but casual. The service was very good; our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items.

Yelp
Had a super nice dinner experience for my first visit. Everything we ordered was sublime. My favorite was the salad. Lamb chops and scallops with creamy mashed potato were great choices. Braised beef with plantain and beans should not be missed. Our server was super nice and the food was pretty fast. Park at the nearby parking garage. Street parking was a bit difficult, but totally worth it.

Yelp
Amazing meal, great ambiance, lovely staff! Everything about Havana is spectacular and you won't regret going!

Yelp
It's been sometime since the last we were here. Sat in communal middle area. Had a couple of zero proof drinks, plantains, paella, lamb, shrimp and churros. Service was good and food as well. The rice could have been more cooked I think. The rest were flavorful. Mixed crowd which was nice and a pretty chill vibe.

Yelp
First time at Havana very good food and service. We had the mojito and whiskey sour Cuban sandwich, ropa vieja empanadas and yuca fríes. Everything was delicious. Highly recommended.

Yelp
My friend and I came here on a night out because, while I've come here for drinks, I'd never had a meal here and wanted to give it a shot! I'm a huge fan of sharing and trying all kinds of things, so we stuck to apps. Things we tried: *Yucca fries - always a fave! *Ropa vieja empanadas - yum! Delicious and crispy! *Scallops - these were well cooked and tasty! *Croquettes - delicious, nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. *Ceviche - this was delicious. It was salmon with a citrus sauce. Might have been my favorite thing we tried! We also shared 3 drinks: *Pineapple martini - so, not at all a martini. It's delicious, but if you're looking for a martini, this ain't it. *Blood orange old fashioned - this was delicious and I'd order this again in a heart beat. *Cuban sour - delicious! So, the food was great, the drinks were too, but the service.. I arrived first and was sat at a table. The waitress came by a minute after I sat to bring water and asked if I was ready to order. After I said I needed a minute to decide on a drink, she disappeared. For over 10 minutes! I'm usually the person who arrives on time, and then my friends will arrive a few minutes later, so for me, it's a huge pet peeve when I basically get ignored. That said, I do look forward to coming back.

Yelp
Brunch, Bottomless, and Vibes in Walnut Creek! Havana is a whole vibe. Came here for brunch with the girls and had an absolute blast--this spot checks all the boxes for great food, great drinks, and great energy. What We Loved: * Bottomless Mojitos & Mimosas - YES, they keep them coming and they don't skimp. * The Shrimp & Hash and Scallops were chef's kiss--cooked to perfection. * Don't sleep on the Chicken & Waffles either--crispy, juicy, and delicious. * My fave drink? The Havana Tropics: Ciroc Coconut Vodka, Pineapple, Lime, Cranberry, and Shredded Coconut - tropical, refreshing, and dangerously good. The vibe is lively but relaxed, perfect for a girl's brunch, birthday, or weekend treat. Highly recommend--definitely coming back!

Yelp
Brought my friend here for her birthday and we all loved it! The food was good and the vibes were great. For brunch not only do they offer bottomless mimosas but also bottomless mojitos! It's is pretty busy during brunch but the wait time was not that long. Our server was very patient with us and overall all of the staff was welcoming and friendly. My favorite was by far the steak. The paella was good and flavorful but the seafood did not taste very fresh, besides the quality of the seafood the flavor was there. I will definitely be coming back for some bottomless mimosas! Overall a great brunch option for those that are in the area!

Yelp
Great environment for drinks. Food... painful future PASS. Service was also very poor. Nice looking guy but absolutely no follow through... Dinner was painful. Ordered beef dish and pork dish. Both painful.. Mango & yucka appetizer... nothing noteworthy. Beef empanadas... the best item ordered. Overall... just not good for food.

Yelp
My star off is due to the parking. Definitely not a convenient place for persons with disabilities. The bathroom had wet floors so be careful walking in. Place was dim and very crowded not a lot of people but crowded as in the table setting. I went with a friend, it was her choice...I wouldn't have chosen because the food selection wasn't what I craved but it was delicious. We shared and ate everything there. I could hear the people next to us talking. They were on a blind date and I'm pretty sure that was the only time they saw each other based on how I can see and hear their conversation. See crowded. I would rate this location for longer lasting couples or groups of friends. They do need to open up the floor and turn up the lights a little.

Yelp
We sat at the bar and had a great experience! Carly was super attentive and made a great drink. I would highly suggest.

Yelp
We sometimes forget about this place since it is between the main drags. But for a few drinks and a quick bite it is great. The main courses look great when we are them being served. The service is always great. We usually sit at the bar but hit the tables when the bar is full. Same great service. Looks like a manager or owner is always around keeping an eye on things. It's nice. We will prolly do a dinner here soon.

Yelp
I came here with a friend for catch up drinks. We both got mojitos - I enjoyed mine with pomegranate seeds. We got fried plantains and croquettes as appetizers, followed by the pan crusted cod for the main meal. I really liked the croquettes. If you get the plantains, know that they are savory not sweet. The cod dish was flakey and I enjoyed the corn that it came with. The service was attentive even during a busy dinner rush over the holidays. We sat in the back on a hi top table because that was what was available for walk-ins. I would recommend making a reservation on the weekends.

Yelp
Went for the first time and it was amazing!! Carly Q. was a great server and made sure we were taken care of. She was so sweet and made sure our experience was great for the first time. Food was so good and it was so cute and cozy in there.

Yelp
10/10! Went here on a Friday night with a friend. We ordered appetizers to share. The waiter was great. He made a few suggestions and we went with it. We ordered the scallops over mashed potatoes. The crispy shrimp with a light sauce, empanadas and the croquettes. All the food was outstanding! Including the service. I can't wait to come back.

Yelp
I give this visit a 15 out of 10! There's not much more I can say to rave about our experience today. This is my go-to spot for the scallops, the lamb, and a good lemon drop--but today was truly next level. This was, by far, the best restaurant experience I've ever had. The food was fantastic as always, but the service? Absolutely over the top. The manager--Patrick? (Sorry if I got the name wrong!)--was outstanding from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Not only did he warmly engage with the young girl at our table, but he interacted with all the kids in the restaurant--learning their names, playing games with them, and stopping by their tables to chat throughout the evening. It was such a beautiful thing to witness. **When you talk about excellent service--**this is exactly what it looks like. I'll definitely be back, and now my friends and family have a new favorite spot too! https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT6YUWJ9c/
