"This Cuban restaurant is nestled on a busy restaurant strip in Walnut Creek, but worth stopping in for its puerco Cubano, a roasted pork shoulder, or the Chino-Cubano fried rice. The brunch menu gets playful, with a croque-monsieur and Cubano mashup called the Croque Cubano, and there’s a bottomless brunch drink options if that’s your thing." - Dianne de Guzman

From the palm trees framing the front windows to the mosaic tiles at the bar in the back, the ambiance was great. It's a whole vibe The service was stellar. The food was amazing. The portions were huge. The meats were tender. I'm not an adventurous eater, but everything pleased my palate. We're going back for more... soon.

What a wonderful surprise to come upon Havana in Walnut Creek. The food was inspired - we had lamb chops, paella, and delicious mojitos. It was all flavorful and perfectly prepared. The service was top notch - shot out to Storm who made us feel so welcomed and absolutely elevated the evening. We cannot wait to return!

The menu is Tapas as well as traditional The lamb chops are their USP (unique selling point) and they delivered ! The fish entree was tasty + the corn was a great compliment to the dish Kids enjoyed their meals and desserts ( ice cream) + a lemonade Our server was attentive, knowledgeable and very kind We will be back for brunch !

Love the empanadas. Love the way they serve food on tiered tray. Wasn't impressed with the tapas grilled steak - cheap cut of meat very chewy. I would go back but do empanadas only. The drinks were really good too!!! Very friendly and courteous staff made the drinks and empanadas especially good😊.

Living in Dubai, we are spoiled with the best restaurants in the world. So when I was in California recently, I was let down by the Michelin level standards until I went to Havana. By far the best restaurant we went to throughout north California. We literally tried the menu and honestly can't say anything bad. Everything was delicious, especially the prawns on rice dish, scallops, lamb chops, Cuban sandwich, paella and the tres leches!!!! Will be back in California in 2026 so I will 100% be coming back to feast again. Thanks for the service as well which was awesome!!!

This was my first time trying Cuban food and it was good. We went to celebrate a birthday and the accommodations were perfect. I got the Paella and it was good, but needed a little more flavor, however I have never had it before, but I know taste. The service was excellent as we had a party 15 and the atmosphere was awesome, I really liked the vibe. For drinks, I got the Yuzu Ginger Gin Mojito(non alcoholic) and the Blood orange -pineapple. I really loved the Yuzu Ginger Gin Mojito! For Tapas, we got the Mojo Chicken wings and Ropa Vieja Empanadas, both tasty and delicious. The grilled Shrimp was good also. The entrees were Paella and Ropa Vieja, which had good taste and flavor. For a party of 15 with the gratuity included, it was a reasonable price. I will try it again in the future when I get to Walnut Creek. I had leftover Paella, but I forgot it at the restaurant 😁.

I had brunch at Havana, and everything—from the food to the service—was absolutely outstanding. The atmosphere was warm and vibrant, with a lively yet relaxed vibe that made it the perfect spot for a weekend meal. The menu offered a great variety of options, blending Latin flavors with brunch classics in a creative and delicious way. Every dish we tried was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The portions were generous without being overwhelming, and you could taste the freshness in every bite. The coffee and cocktails were also top-notch—especially the signature mojito, which was refreshing and perfectly balanced. What truly stood out, though, was the service. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They made us feel like valued guests without being overbearing, and our server made great recommendations that we absolutely loved. Overall, brunch at Havana was a wonderful experience—great food, exceptional service, and a fantastic atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to everyone I know!
