The Best Places to Eat and Drink in Walnut Creek | Eater SF

"This Cuban restaurant is nestled on a busy restaurant strip in Walnut Creek, but worth stopping in for its puerco Cubano, a roasted pork shoulder, or the Chino-Cubano fried rice. The brunch menu gets playful, with a croque-monsieur and Cubano mashup called the Croque Cubano, and there’s a bottomless brunch drink options if that’s your thing." - Dianne de Guzman

Google
This was our first visit, just walking looking for a place to dine and came upon this place. Our server was Joe and he was fantastic. We enjoyed everything we ordered and the items that he recommended including our cocktails! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. We will definitely be back! Tapas are good size. There was just two of us, but we even had leftovers :)

Google
I really like this place. It's hard to find good rum these days, but not here! Havana has a lot of good rum to choose from. We had the brunch and bottomless mojitos.... Yep. I'll be back.

From the palm trees framing the front windows to the mosaic tiles at the bar in the back, the ambiance was great. It's a whole vibe The service was stellar. The food was amazing. The portions were huge. The meats were tender. I'm not an adventurous eater, but everything pleased my palate. We're going back for more... soon.

Google
What a wonderful surprise to come upon Havana in Walnut Creek. The food was inspired - we had lamb chops, paella, and delicious mojitos. It was all flavorful and perfectly prepared. The service was top notch - shot out to Storm who made us feel so welcomed and absolutely elevated the evening. We cannot wait to return!

Google
The menu is Tapas as well as traditional The lamb chops are their USP (unique selling point) and they delivered ! The fish entree was tasty + the corn was a great compliment to the dish Kids enjoyed their meals and desserts ( ice cream) + a lemonade Our server was attentive, knowledgeable and very kind We will be back for brunch !

Google
Love the empanadas. Love the way they serve food on tiered tray. Wasn't impressed with the tapas grilled steak - cheap cut of meat very chewy. I would go back but do empanadas only. The drinks were really good too!!! Very friendly and courteous staff made the drinks and empanadas especially good😊.

Google
Living in Dubai, we are spoiled with the best restaurants in the world. So when I was in California recently, I was let down by the Michelin level standards until I went to Havana. By far the best restaurant we went to throughout north California. We literally tried the menu and honestly can't say anything bad. Everything was delicious, especially the prawns on rice dish, scallops, lamb chops, Cuban sandwich, paella and the tres leches!!!! Will be back in California in 2026 so I will 100% be coming back to feast again. Thanks for the service as well which was awesome!!!

Google
I had the lamb chops and they were absolutely the best I’ve ever had! Highly recommend them. Our waiter, Joe, was outstanding he made the whole experience effortless and enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back for both the lamb chops and Joe’s excellent service!

Yelp
I used Havana Catering for my clients 50th birthday and as always the food was absolutely delicious. The young man that delivered the food was on time and very professional. He did an awesome job with set up and was very efficient. I use Havana Catering for my corporate events, I always recommend your business to friends and colleagues that are looking for great food without breaking the bank. And everyone that I recommend are always grateful and very pleased with the food. Unfortunately, due to the wind, I was not able to light the pilots to keep the food warm, but despite not being able to keep the food warm, the food was excellent. Everyone at the party loved everything!! The crab cakes were a hit!! My client was so happy with the food and the guests will be coming to your establishment for the brunch (I had to recommend that). Thank you again for a wonderful experience and look forward to working with you in the future.

Yelp
Pretty good food! We went on a Friday night and it was busy. We made a reservation but reservation is probably not required. We ordered fried plantain as an appetizer, and it was really good. The plantain and the sauce together were tangy and delicious. I highly recommend. For dessert we had churros with chocolate dip. The churros were a little bit harder than I expected. For the main dish I got the fish and it was pretty good. The vibes were immaculate!

Yelp
Absolutely love my girls brunch at Havana over the weekend. Bottomless mojitos are great even though rum makes me allergic Marco, YOU ARE THE BEST!

Yelp
We came here for a wedding rehearsal dinner! They very kindly setup and accommodated a table of like 15 of us. The wait staff was very friendly and informative. We had trouble doing food math lol since we were going to share all the food and didn't know how large the portions of food were, especially since it was a mix of tapas and paella. They helped us out ordering. My favorite must have been the scallops that came on mashed potatoes lol. So yummy. We also tried deep fried plaintains, kale salad, seafood paella. Now that I look at the menu again, I regret not trying more hahah like the empanadas, shrimp, wings, ropa vieja, chimichurri skirt steak?! It was just a bit chaotic and I was distracted - not knowing who ordered what for the table! Next time! There was also live music and it was super cute, my friend's parents started salsa dancing. What a fun vibe! This restaurant is worth a visit especially on these live music nights haha, and when you're in the area craving tapas or paella. Wine and mojitos and dessert also available - come through!

Yelp
Came on a Thursday night with some friends. We made reservation just incase but when we arrived at 7:30 it wasn't too busy. I'm sure on weekends it can get busy. Parking can be an issue so be prepared for that. Nice spacious dinning area and they also have a bar. We were seated quickly and our server was nice and attended to us right away. We ordered a little bit of everything to try empanadas, fried plantains, chino cubana fried rice(this was my favorite),lamb chops and mango spinach salad and everything was delicious. Of course we also had to get a pitcher of thier original mojito and it was refreshing. They were very helpful and careful regarding food allergies as I have seafood allery.

Yelp
I came here with a craving for a popular Cuban spot down in LA and left craving unsatisfied. I'll start with the memorable... the mojitos and the paella. I came to catch up with an old friend, and didn't know that Mojito Monday was a thing. Apparently, on Monday's, mojitos are 50% off. So even though I had no plans of drinking, I'm a sucker for a good deal and couldn't say no. I ordered one that had jalapeño and it was so delicious and such a deal I had to get a second. The green garlic and cauliflower paella was not something we originally ordered, but some thing I was intrigued by after a Mojito and some tapas. Glad we did because it was good, filling, and shareable for 3 and still had leftover for lunch the following day. The other things we ordered to share, tapas, were okay but never quite hit the mark for me. The yucca fries were ok but the star of that was the green sauce. One of the sauces was too cumin-y for me. The ropa vieja empanadas were also ok but some bites were good and others left you wanting more... basically filling wasn't enough. The ceviche is something I never need to order here again. Good in theory, but the odor of the fish was too much for me. Actually maybe that just all their seafood or maybe that day because the table next to me ordered something else that was too fishy and kinda soured my experience if you can't tell. Anyway, the place is cute, the staff great, the drinks good, the food... nothing to write home about. But maybe I ordered the wrong things.

Yelp
My husband and I took our parents here to celebrate Father's Day this weekend. There aren't many Cuban restaurants in the Bay Area and we were very surprised to find one in the heart of Walnut Creek. Parking: street parking or city parking lots. Ambiance: spacious, modern, sleek with lots of black and white. There is counter seating in the middle of the restaurant with table seating on the sides. There's also an open bar area as well. Great spot for family celebrations or date nights. Service: attentive. We were a party of 6 so we order quite a bit of tapas and 4 entrees to share and we didn't have to wait long for food to come out. We did have some difficulty flagging someone for more utensils but the restaurant was busy at the time so it was acceptable. When we were done, the plates were cleared efficiently and the waitress brought our check quickly without us having to remind her. Food: 2/5. This is where the stars dropped. With the exception of the mojo chicken wings, the pork shoulders, and the steak, the rest of food we ordered were pretty heavy in terms of salt. The most salty dish was the paella. Presentation was beautiful for each plate and portion size was reasonable but the taste was very mediocre. We ordered the scallops, the mojo chicken wings, the lamp chops, the chino-Cuban fried rice, the paella, the puerco cubano and the chimichurri steak. The Cuban fried rice, although not as salty as the paella, was too mushy. Cost: $$. Even with the mandatory 20% service charge given we were a big party, the meal itself wasn't too expensive given the portion size, and the presentation of the food. Overall, we won't return.

Yelp
Came here on a Tuesday night for an early dinner and was warmly greeted by the staff. The waitress was appropriately attentive and considerate, and the vibes were just right for a relaxing evening. We ordered the Yuca fries and the bay scallops along with the paella. The fries were excellent, with the garnish being noteworthy. The scallops were fresh and seared to perfection. The paella was decent, generous portion sufficient to feed two, but perhaps the rice was slightly undercooked.

Yelp
The good: Service was excellent, Grilled Shrimp, Chimichurri steak, fried chicken and the sofrito rice were good but not spectacular. Cute decor. Pricing through the roof. The bad: the Ropa Vieja was terrible. Overly salty beef with plantains that lacked flavor. The black beans were undercooked, literally al dente tasting. The mashed potatoes were too sweet. The Waffle was inexplicably spicy. While I loved the Grilled Shrimp and Sofrito rice, everything else about this place was terribly mid especially for the price. Their Ropa Vieja and black beans were the worst I've ever had. It is sad because I so love Cuban food. I really want to like this place but can't recommend this place due to the price and flavors. The pricing is insane for beans, rice and stewed meat. You'd think this Ropa Vieja was made of ribeye or short rib, at the price point listed. The plantains should be sweeter, the black beans need to be cooked more, and the chef needs to take it easy on the salt for the Ropa Vieja.

Yelp
My first. Nice place and friendly staff. Service was okay. The tuna tartare with yuca Chips was good and the chicken wings. The plantain appetizer was okay. The seafood paella was a disappointment. Rice too raw for us. We told them rice is raw they said that's how they cook it al dente. Their al dente is considered raw to all 4 of us in our table. Thats the only food we didn't finish. I don''t think it is worth the hour drive to Walnut Creek.

Yelp
Every time I come I always love it here! The lamb chops are to die for! I also tried the crab croquette and when I say this is my new favorite go to!!!! And the bottomless mojitos were delicious. Our server Joe was THE BEST!!!!! Very attentive and helpful. I tell you he was serving us as if we were the only table he had and was going to work a double shift. He had all the energy! I'd definitely recommend this place!

Yelp
Brought my friend here for her birthday and we all loved it! The food was good and the vibes were great. For brunch not only do they offer bottomless mimosas but also bottomless mojitos! It's is pretty busy during brunch but the wait time was not that long. Our server was very patient with us and overall all of the staff was welcoming and friendly. My favorite was by far the steak. The paella was good and flavorful but the seafood did not taste very fresh, besides the quality of the seafood the flavor was there. I will definitely be coming back for some bottomless mimosas! Overall a great brunch option for those that are in the area!

Yelp
Brunch, Bottomless, and Vibes in Walnut Creek! Havana is a whole vibe. Came here for brunch with the girls and had an absolute blast--this spot checks all the boxes for great food, great drinks, and great energy. What We Loved: * Bottomless Mojitos & Mimosas - YES, they keep them coming and they don't skimp. * The Shrimp & Hash and Scallops were chef's kiss--cooked to perfection. * Don't sleep on the Chicken & Waffles either--crispy, juicy, and delicious. * My fave drink? The Havana Tropics: Ciroc Coconut Vodka, Pineapple, Lime, Cranberry, and Shredded Coconut - tropical, refreshing, and dangerously good. The vibe is lively but relaxed, perfect for a girl's brunch, birthday, or weekend treat. Highly recommend--definitely coming back!

Yelp
We had tried this restaurant long ago so it was time to revisit it. The food & service was great. Madeleine was our wait person. It was a Tuesday, not many people there, and the food came out quicker than we expected (but timed well so as not to toss the yucca chip & mango salsa appetizer). I had the Ropa Vieja and my husband had the Puerco Cubano. The portions were LARGE and my "to go" bag was enough for 2 more meals. We had some tasty mojitos to accompany our meal. Mine was the classic & his had pepper in it (don't remember the name). Now I want to go back & try all the tapas! (Note: Pics aren't straight from the kitchen + their presentation was nicer.)

Yelp
The food was great and our waiter was so helpful. The ambiance was relaxing and the music was a vibe. I will be back.

Yelp
I give this visit a 15 out of 10! There's not much more I can say to rave about our experience today. This is my go-to spot for the scallops, the lamb, and a good lemon drop--but today was truly next level. This was, by far, the best restaurant experience I've ever had. The food was fantastic as always, but the service? Absolutely over the top. The manager--Patrick? (Sorry if I got the name wrong!)--was outstanding from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Not only did he warmly engage with the young girl at our table, but he interacted with all the kids in the restaurant--learning their names, playing games with them, and stopping by their tables to chat throughout the evening. It was such a beautiful thing to witness. **When you talk about excellent service--**this is exactly what it looks like. I'll definitely be back, and now my friends and family have a new favorite spot too! https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT6YUWJ9c/

Yelp
I've been here once before for dinner with a few friends! The place itself is very cute and modern, definitely a nice place for a nice out. The drinks were SO good and most of our dinner options were very delicious. I decided to come back for my birthday to try their brunch option out. The unlimited mimosa/mojito option was so fun, their mojitos are so good! I wasn't impressed with my chicken and waffles, but my guests enjoyed their meals. I didn't like that you had to pay per person to bring in your own birthday cake if you wanted, so instead we opted for dessert that they comped for me. The churros were delicious :)

Yelp
10/10! Went here on a Friday night with a friend. We ordered appetizers to share. The waiter was great. He made a few suggestions and we went with it. We ordered the scallops over mashed potatoes. The crispy shrimp with a light sauce, empanadas and the croquettes. All the food was outstanding! Including the service. I can't wait to come back.

Yelp
We came here with a weekend reservation for a double date, having had Havana bookmarked for years- super excited to try it. Unfortunately, we left a lot of food uneaten and were very underwhelmed with the quality for the price. I'm sad that we all didn't have a good experience as this was a restaurant we were looking forward to, but it looks like there was an issue with dishes not being cooked through. - plantains: hard inside! This is hard to mess up too. - yuca fries: bland and not cooked through. - chimichurri steak: this was decent, not super tender. - paella: so, so wet and quite bland. - shrimp: this was probably my favorite out of all of them, and it was just okay. - chicken wings: decent enough.

Yelp
Havana has tasty food and cocktails. I had a mojito, which was very fresh; I enjoyed the mint. The pork was good. My wife got a plate with beef, rice, and beans. It comes with a fried banana. We both enjoyed the food. The ambiance is nice, slightly upscale but casual. The service was very good; our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items.
google avatar

Ricca Cathrina E.

Yelp
Had a super nice dinner experience for my first visit. Everything we ordered was sublime. My favorite was the salad. Lamb chops and scallops with creamy mashed potato were great choices. Braised beef with plantain and beans should not be missed. Our server was super nice and the food was pretty fast. Park at the nearby parking garage. Street parking was a bit difficult, but totally worth it.

Yelp
If you're looking for exceptional service with a side of charisma and charm, Carly Q is your girl! She's the kind of bartender and waitress who makes you feel like a VIP from the moment you sit down. Drinks? Always on point. Service? Fast, friendly, and flawless. And her attention to detail? Impeccable. Whether she's mixing cocktails behind the bar or working the floor with grace and hustle, Carly brings the perfect balance of professionalism and personality. She anticipated what we needed before we even asked--refills appeared like magic and recommendations were spot on. Not to mention, her energy lit up the entire space! Carly Q isn't just good at what she does--she loves what she does, and it shows. 10/10 would come back just to be in her section again. Don't walk--run to wherever she's working. She's the real deal.

Yelp
Food, ambience, drinks and customer service were top tier!! Not sure if "Pat" is. the manager, owner, employee or all 3 but he definitely takes pride in this place. He was EVERYWHERE and made sure to check on me and made me feel more than welcome. I saw him doing it with other customers as well. This was a super busy night and had live music (they were amazing btw) and lots of happy customers. My waitress Jessica A. was super sweet and made sure to apologize for any delays and paid good attention to me. Drinks were tasty and strong . Got the lamb chops! Ceviche and wings. Drinks: passion fruit mojito and watermelon mojito 10/10 recommend!! Can't wait to come back and bring some folks! Keep it up Havana Finally found somewhere with good Spanish Caribbean food. A can only dream! Thank you

Yelp
Absolutely no complaints here. Server was on top of her game. Kept our bottomless Mojitos and water glasses full. Service is definitely the driving force that determines if I become a repeat customer. I will definitely be back. The food was tremendous. First time having Chilaquiles and it did not disappoint. Not only was the food great but their presentation was also amazing. From arrival to departure, the atmosphere was very welcoming.

Yelp
It's been sometime since the last we were here. Sat in communal middle area. Had a couple of zero proof drinks, plantains, paella, lamb, shrimp and churros. Service was good and food as well. The rice could have been more cooked I think. The rest were flavorful. Mixed crowd which was nice and a pretty chill vibe.
google avatar

Yelp
We sometimes forget about this place since it is between the main drags. But for a few drinks and a quick bite it is great. The main courses look great when we are them being served. The service is always great. We usually sit at the bar but hit the tables when the bar is full. Same great service. Looks like a manager or owner is always around keeping an eye on things. It's nice. We will prolly do a dinner here soon.

Yelp
My friend and I came here on a night out because, while I've come here for drinks, I'd never had a meal here and wanted to give it a shot! I'm a huge fan of sharing and trying all kinds of things, so we stuck to apps. Things we tried: *Yucca fries - always a fave! *Ropa vieja empanadas - yum! Delicious and crispy! *Scallops - these were well cooked and tasty! *Croquettes - delicious, nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. *Ceviche - this was delicious. It was salmon with a citrus sauce. Might have been my favorite thing we tried! We also shared 3 drinks: *Pineapple martini - so, not at all a martini. It's delicious, but if you're looking for a martini, this ain't it. *Blood orange old fashioned - this was delicious and I'd order this again in a heart beat. *Cuban sour - delicious! So, the food was great, the drinks were too, but the service.. I arrived first and was sat at a table. The waitress came by a minute after I sat to bring water and asked if I was ready to order. After I said I needed a minute to decide on a drink, she disappeared. For over 10 minutes! I'm usually the person who arrives on time, and then my friends will arrive a few minutes later, so for me, it's a huge pet peeve when I basically get ignored. That said, I do look forward to coming back.

Yelp
One of our favorite places to go to in Walnut Creek. The food, drinks and service never disappoint. Love the variety of mojito flavor and different options on the menu.
google avatar

Yelp
Great environment for drinks. Food... painful future PASS. Service was also very poor. Nice looking guy but absolutely no follow through... Dinner was painful. Ordered beef dish and pork dish. Both painful.. Mango & yucka appetizer... nothing noteworthy. Beef empanadas... the best item ordered. Overall... just not good for food.
google avatar

Evelyn M.

Yelp
My star off is due to the parking. Definitely not a convenient place for persons with disabilities. The bathroom had wet floors so be careful walking in. Place was dim and very crowded not a lot of people but crowded as in the table setting. I went with a friend, it was her choice...I wouldn't have chosen because the food selection wasn't what I craved but it was delicious. We shared and ate everything there. I could hear the people next to us talking. They were on a blind date and I'm pretty sure that was the only time they saw each other based on how I can see and hear their conversation. See crowded. I would rate this location for longer lasting couples or groups of friends. They do need to open up the floor and turn up the lights a little.

Yelp
This is a long overdue review. Apologies. But anyway - I highly hiiighly recommend this place! The FOOD was amazing! Best mashed potato EVEEER! It was so smooth that it melts in your mouth so gracefully. It was sweet, too. (yes, it was sweet potato! I didn't know you could do that. Lol) We also got the seafood paella and scallops! I am telling you A+++. Not to mention, this is the FIRST (and perhaps, only) restaurant I've been to that was able to remove the chorizo sausages in the Paella. That's how you would know they make their food 'as ordered'! Their paella is not something already made and 'ready to microwave'. The scallops! THE.SCALLOPS. I am speechless. I loved it so much. All that being said, the winning factor of Havana is really the service we got from Yssi (well, Jessie. I hope I spelled it right). Best customer experience! I truly believe that Yssi's amazing personality ... patient ... quick ... efficient .. funny ... knowledgable ... personable ... oh, and BEAUTIFUL, mind you ... ALL THOSE sold us for what has now become our favorite restaurant. HAVANA. Thank you, Yssi for your service!

Yelp
My hubby and I went to Havana's for the first time, and it wont be our last. We started off with avocado mash, ceviche and scallops. The avocado mash was fresh and creamy, but felt it missing something. The scallops paired with boniato mash - perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The ceviche was also excellent, you can tell how fresh the ingredients were. For the mains, we had the Paella and Chimchurri skirt steak. Both were delicious and lived up to the hype. We ended the night with the tres leches cake - it was incredible. I've had tres leches many times, but this was different. It was coconut flavor, not overly sweet and topped with whip cream. Our server was Gavin - super attentive and very nice. The ambience was good and so was the music they were playing.
google avatar

Amelia D.

Yelp
I came here with a friend for catch up drinks. We both got mojitos - I enjoyed mine with pomegranate seeds. We got fried plantains and croquettes as appetizers, followed by the pan crusted cod for the main meal. I really liked the croquettes. If you get the plantains, know that they are savory not sweet. The cod dish was flakey and I enjoyed the corn that it came with. The service was attentive even during a busy dinner rush over the holidays. We sat in the back on a hi top table because that was what was available for walk-ins. I would recommend making a reservation on the weekends.
google avatar

Carina K.

Yelp
We were there for brunch and ordered the plantain French toast, the Cubano, the strawberry mojito and watermelon mojito. We recommend all of it! It was a nice mix of classics and California fusion. Service was friendly, attentive, and everything came out at a good time. Marco was lovely and he helped us feel right at home. Great service, fantastic food, charming atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Love love love Havana!! We went for a bday brunch. I got there before everyone else and received such a friendly greeting when I arrived and was brought to our table right away. Beautiful restaurant. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. Food was delicious and so were the bottomless mojitos that surprisingly had us more tipsy than we expected. LOL! Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
My sisters and I went to Havana for a sister's dinner, and we had a great time. It was just like I remembered it. The food was excellent, with no complaints at all. I never had the chicken Viejo Ropa, but it was terrific. I will get that again. My sisters were all happy with their meals, especially the lamb chops. One of my sisters raved about them. My sister also liked the wings; another sister said that the paella had a nice flavor and was served nice and hot. I got there a little early, and I was greeted immediately. I was then welcomed at the bar to wait for my party. Unfortunately, my party was over 30 minutes late, but they did not cancel my reservation. They just advised me to let them know when my party arrived, and they still cared for me. If you are looking for a chill restaurant, that's pretty calm but yet lively this is the place to go. This is great for a girls night out or a nice little date night.

Yelp
Very lively location at night. This place was so chill and the ambience was great. A little too dark of a lighting to take pictures in, but the food was great and the service was great too. For vegan food, I'm not mad at it. I've always wanted to try fried plantains and steak with chimchurri sauce. Oh it was so good I did a happy dance. We also ordered the paella to share, but I still enjoyed the other dishes more. Definitely a good place to try if you're in the Walnut Creek downtown area.
google avatar

Winnie W.

Yelp
I thought it was ok . Comfy seating, nice ambience, good service but good is just ok. * Seafood Paella - it's ok. Shrimp is super fresh and tasty, clams are ok, but we there is one piece of bad mussel. The rice was also slightly undercooked and a tad raw in the middle. Flavor is ok to good. * Twice fried plantain was just ok - typically I like the sweetness and the slight chew of fried plantains, but this one is dry and seem like it's fried more than twice. :/ * Chicken wing is good. Sauce is delicious * Peace Mojito is excellent! Overall a good experience but the food left me much to desire for. And given the price point, it's an overall an ok

Yelp
My husband and I have passed by this place while walking around and decided we wanted to come here for our next date night and are so happy we did! We made a reservation for 7pm and the place was packed. We were seated right away and did not have to wait long for our drinks or food to come. The service was great and everyone was very friendly. Our drinks were beautiful and yummy and our appetizers and food was delicious. I could not get enough of the boniato mash and corn sauté! Our server told us that they also serve brunch and told us that we need to come back to experience their brunch menu. After looking at the brunch menu, we look forward to coming back!!

Yelp
Walked in and was seated right away. The music and atmosphere was very nice. After two drinks, it made you want to go dancing and keep the night going. Drinks were good! Food was great! Service was divine! No complaints! We were happy with our first visit and will be back again!

Yelp
Love this place! First time here and I will be coming back! This is the only place let us reserve for 15 people for a baby shower! Thank you for that. Some places wanted us to spend $60 per person (crazy) , other place only 8 people max( what's with that? Ahaha) Anyway.... Food 10/10 love all the food we got. Steak Paella Plantain chips with avocado Drinks 10/10 it might not be that accurate for others because got the dessert root-beer with vodka and vanilla ice cream hehehe Ambience really nice too. Parking is hard. So park in the garage near by. P.s but i do agree that the gratuity should only count towards the food prices not including the tax.

Yelp
The food was delicious but the lamb chops were a bit plain. The drinks were so yummy we all tried different mojitos i think i had the blood orange one and I definitely recommend & ty to my waitress for suggesting I wish I remembered her name... she was such a sweetheart. The atmosphere was a vibe and we were seated in a corner high booth so it was a perfect intimate moment with my aunties it was nice to have bonding time. Definitely would come back to meet up with a girlfriend or even just to get a drink afterwork.

Yelp
I came here with some girlfriends on a Saturday afternoon with reservations. This place was packed and I can see why! The service was fantastic, the food was also really good and the drinks were too. The apps we ordered were the croquettes (5pcs), those were yummy it reminded me of ham and cheese hot pockets in the best way possible. We also ordered the wings (6pcs) which were delicious! I would definitely order those again the sauce was so flavorful and the wings were still crispy. The steak and eggs came with yucca fries and chimichurri sauce and it was so yummy! I do feel like the portion size was small :/ The chicken and waffles were so good and nicely balanced, I love the habanero butter that it came with too. The star of the table was definitely the plantain French toast! The toast was cooked and it almost tasted like caramel yummmm! We opted for the bottomless mojitos, the guava flavor was definitely the way to go! I do see myself coming back here again whether it be for brunch, lunch, or dinner. It is super cute and cozy inside!

Yelp
This restaurant is very lively, nicely decorated and has kind staff. They have the best mojitos ever and on Mondays it's mojito Monday so half off mojitos! The chimichuirri steak was perfection. Cooked to perfection and the sauce is perfect. Super filling and delicious. My friends loved their dishes as well! The only downside was the ceviche, there was only four pieces of fish and it was a sweet mandarin sauce. I didn't think it was worth it but I should've asked what it was before I ordered.

Yelp
Sitting here enjoying the ambiance...they have great selections to choose from. I got chimicurri lamb chops and side of rice, beans and plantains. Unfortunately, I did have to send my food back to be warmed and rice was a bit overcooked. ...but we will see how they fix that then we can determine if the service is good. Update: rice came back fresh but now my lamb chops are Well, Well Done. They tried.
