"If Salvador Dali wanted to open a Cuban restaurant, it would look like Havana Spice. The parking lot is full of sculptures of cows, golden pigs, and a shark with blood oozing out of its mouth. At the entrance, you’re greeted by knights in plate armor and a guitar-playing robot made out of car parts. The Cuban food here is pretty standard compared to the aesthetics. We like the crunchy and juicy chicharrones. The vaca frita is crispy and garlicky. But because this is a surrealist restaurant, be a little different and get the Homestead special instead: Havana Spice’s vaca frita covered in mojo sauce and sandwiched between two soft pieces of Cuban bread. While traveling for work we stopped in to get some good Cuban food. We were entered to eccentric decor and plenty of parking. Everything is so colorful and festive. There is one building for sweet treats and another for food. There is both outdoor and indoor seating. We went for lunch. The menu is huge with plenty of options. It was giving Cheesecake Factory options...it was hard to choose. The prices are a little confusing as some meals were listed as $70. We figured this must have been done mistakingly. We ordered some plantain chips and ham croquets. Complementary Cuban bread was served. The plantain chips were huge and they give you plenty. They were freshly fried but could have been a bit more seasoned. The food was good and served hot. The server was nice and efficient. The price was a bit expensive for Cuban food. It looks like people come here more for the ambiance. It seems like it will be a vibe at night.

Super fun place with an extensive menu, eclectic decor, and fun staff. The food was every bit as good as the best Cuban restaurants we have visited. Portions are generous. We would highly recommend this as a place to eat when in the area

If you're looking for an authentic Cuban restaurant the. You've come to the right spot! I have been here several times and have never been disappointed. I brought my family for lunch and they all had the various versions of a Cuban sandwich, while I chose to go with the grilled chicken with rice, beans, and yuca. A staple in the Homestead community, if you're in town I recommend going!

Well decorated place with a good feel. A very extensive menu. Our meals were good and large portions. Service was good and all staff are welcoming. The entrees are expensive.

Went there to find authentic Cubano sandwich and found it. It was very good and the pork was seasoned very well. We also tried their empanadas and that was amazing, as well. The place is esthetically pleasing inside with relevant murals painted on the walls of Cuba and Miami and a garden-like dining area if you would like to sit outside and eat.

I came here due to almost 5 star reviews and I regretted it. The place is hot to start with. The server was polite but when we order the appetizer, it came all burned, I know he wasn’t the one that made it, but I would assumed the server wouldn’t even think of bringing that to the table. My 8 year old chose chicken tenders which came dark, meaning they used over used oil. My husband ordered fufu which tasted like butter and it was super moist and soft. This is a restaurant with SUPER high prices, the least they can do is make high quality dishes. My kids got lemonade at $9 each but just because me and my husband ordered the lemonade with mint, it was $20 each. Not even alcoholic beverages are that high and it didn’t taste that great. Very disappointed, wouldn’t recommend and will definitely not return.

Incredibly good cuban and Peruvian food! My server, Jason, was both attentive and patient while I got over being overwhelmed by all the delicious sounding dishes on the menu. Bring a group or be prepared for a lot of leftovers if you plan to get any of the paella or fried rice dishes - ask about the dishes' portion sizes if you're unsure. I settled on the Tamal com Maritas (Cuban tamal with fried pork chunks) as my appetizer and Arroz Con Mariscos (Peruvian Seafood Paella) Cuban Style as my main and the meal was both very good and an enormous amount of food - so I happily left with lots of leftovers.
