One of the best parts of our trip was coming here. It was so pleasant to find good food in such a remote location. The dinning environment was so vibrant and lush and the staff became instant friends. It felt more like a loving community of people who cares about each other. You can tell a lot of love is in this place. We got the chicken and waffles and the blackened shrimp and grits (Both were good). Somebody ordered a Keylime pie near us and that looked incredible but we will try it NEXT TIME… We got to try a few of their pastries (maybe empanadas) and they were all delicious. We tried a chicken savory pastry and a coconut sweet pastry and a guava pastry(I think it was guava). We are planning on going back. (they were very dog friendly)

Google
Amazing hidden gem. The staff is friendly and very informative. The Cuban and Pork sandwich, peel and eat shrimp with bread for dipping sauce were the best I’ve ever had. Very cute Caribbean/Cuban decor and seating. We went for lunch and dinner. The home made pastries and key lime pie was a great finish.

Google
Stone crab were great. Pork plate was good. Did not take a great pic, it’s pulled pork, rice, beans and plantains. Plantains were yummy. I didn’t try the beans, was full from stone crab.

Google
Good vibes, wonderful atmosphere, great food, what a gorgeous patio, so colorful and so many plants. We had chicken and pork, Cuban cafe, delicious.

Google
Nothing authentic, black beans very watery, the sweet banana were dried and the sandwich soggy. The food was not brought together. As a native Cuban nothing like, a shame.we had jam crocket and tgat was pretty okay. The tostones with pork we returned, very greasy and soggy. Won’t come back .

A beautiful hidden gem! Love the outdoor patio with live music! Food is fantastic, service is friendly, prices are reasonable. The peel and eat shrimp are incredible!

Google
This is my 3rd visit here. The food is fabulous! On a good (sunny) day it's a lovely spot, with most seats outside in a garden setting, but this visit was thunderstorms ☹️. Only disappointing thing now is they don't sell thier homemade salsa anymore. It was delicious!! But we'll be back again!

Google
Delicious meals, friendly service, and a gorgeous, plant-filled patio. Exactly what you want when visiting Everglades City. Highly recommend. Get the oysters!

Yelp
Absolutely Devine authentic Cuban food. Such a joy to come to this place well worth the half hour trip from Marco Island. If I lived in the area I would produce here a few times a week. Very pleasant staff and the cook / owner were very friendly and knowledgeable. Great indoor and outdoor environment. Try the hot sauce, it's homemade and has a very even heat balance. I recommend getting a couple sides of the plantains. Cheers!!!

Yelp
On a Sunday drive we stopped here in Chokolosee 1st, left & then returned after leaving two others in Port Everglades which didn't excite our interest. Good choice. Ambience is excellent- 5 star. Nice tropical feel with blooming bougainvillea Music was an added bonus++ Service was prompt & friendly Food was on the stove & served quickly. Coffee was made fresh & enjoyed. Our meal could have been hotter but was tasty as we were hungry. When we arrived the patio had plenty of tables. In our hour of enjoyment it got busier. If going to the end of the road-Cafe Havana is best choice.

Yelp
Adorable restaurant nestled in the back roads of chokoloskee Florida. Lovely outside seating and live music. Very friendly staff and great service. I had the grilled shrimp with Sofrito, rice and beans and two plantains. Dave had a similar plate with pork. Live entertainment was great, country folk singer. The old, real part of Florida that you don't see very often. Lots of water, fishing and homes on stilts. Hope we get to come back and camp!

Yelp
This place is amazing . The staff is amazing!!! The food is amazing!!! You will be happy you went

Yelp
Cute little place at "the end of the world". The food is delicious, but the price is what dropped this to 4 stars. HOWEVER- one positive that is not clarified by the menu; the sandwiches come with several extras including hand cut potato chips. Online ordering is very convenient, because this place does get busy and it takes a while to get seated / greeted by staff.

Yelp
Awesome vibe & service, great food, live music and pet friendly! We had Cuban sandwiches and Tres Leches...some of the best food I've had here in SW FL

Yelp
Some day I will make it to Havana for a meal other than breakfast. This is our go-to spot for breakfast when we are leaving Choko. The restaurant is small and funky and serves a mean Cheesy grits with eggs and bacon. Their huevos rancheros is also crazy good but be prepared for some heat. They make their own hot sauce and it is worth trying. Not too hot and great flavor. The owner was around when we last stopped. He was a cool dude who made sure every table was happy and even served up dishes. The hostess was also super nice. Its Choko for gosh sakes, everyone is super nice. Its casual. Its breezy and warm. We love it. Only criticism, the cuban sandwich wasn't traditionally pressed and toasted. That may have just been a one off. We will be back for sure.

Yelp
Pulled pork. Peel & eat shrimp. Great wait staff (Dana). High marks. Food was tremendous. Bought 2 cigars from a guy rolling them in front of patio.

Yelp
I found this restaurant, I believe by searching on Yelp, when I was looking for a place to have breakfast while traveling on the Tamiami trail and staying in Everglades City. I drove the short route down the causeway bridge along the water to this gem on and Island. The staff cooking greeted me as I came in. My server was nice and friendly as well and ensured me about ordering a Cuban vegetarian breakfast. The outside huge patio area behind this restaurant is so peaceful and nice and pretty with lots of plants and trees, and lots of birds around in the morning. My breakfast was good and big and filling. I really enjoyed the black refried beans. The veggies on the eggs were good. The fried plantains were as well. I had a lovely time.
google avatar

Rhonda C.

Yelp
Stopped here since there were many positive reviews. The Cuban sandwich was good, but way too much mayo and mustard and not enough pickles. The house made chips were excellent, but the plantains were smashed and deep fried to a crisp. There was absolutely no flavor and lots of oil. Staff at the front area seemed bothered by us waiting to be seated and then she asked "what do you need." I mentioned there were 2 of us for lunch and she said take a seat. No directions if we seat ourselves or wait to be seated. Ambiance was nice outside. I would not return here in the future.

Yelp
Havanna Cafe a gem in Everglade City, 191 Smallwood Dr, Chokoloskee, Fl . This small quaint restaurant has an amazing selection of local and international foods in a casual atmosphere with great service and excellent ambiance. We've lived in Miami for over 60 years and even though there are many famous and popular restaurants in Miami, Havanna by far has one of the best Cuban sandwiches we've ever had. Their pork sandwich is amazing. The pork melts in your mouth. This is our second visit and we thoroughly enjoyed the Cuban, the medianoche as well as the tostone appetizer. Additionally they have one of the best key lime pies, tart but sweet. I would definitely recommend Havanna for their amazing food and welcoming atmosphere.

Yelp
Friendly staff, pup-friendly, relaxing and fun atmosphere with live entertainment, and most importantly the food was outstanding! We will be back whenever we are in the area
google avatar

Yelp
Wow, we were served by the absolute nicest ladies, thank you for welcoming us. Great simple menu, can't go wrong with maduros, rice and beans. The snapper was great. Lovely outdoor seating and live music. The next time I'm in Chokoloskee, I will return!

Yelp
I love good Cuban food and since I was in town these was my lunch recommendation restaurant. I had the Palomilla Stake and it was pretty good; good serving size and juicy. Service was good but life Cuban music was great. The Cuban coffee was the perfect end to a great meal. I love this place and the venue is beautiful.

Yelp
Fun place! Great food, sangria and entertainment! Perl and eat shrimp appetizer was amazing! Almost overlooked it, as it didn't come up in our search of Everglades City. It is on the island, which is literally less than a 5 minute drive. So worth it! We likely won't be in the area again, but if we were, we would Dey go here again!

Yelp
As a Cuban(who was born and raised in Cuba & lives in Miami), I can tell you this isn't really authentic Cuban food. Not terrible but not authentic. Service was spotty, the waitress forgot to put in one of our party's dishes and so that person had to wait 30 extra minutes for his food while ours turned cold. The prices were ridiculous for what they offered with such small portions; we spent $130 for breakfast for 4 people and it just wasn't worth it. I'd be willing to pay that for a NICE breakfast but not this disappointment.

Yelp
A couple weeks ago i was riding with my motorcycle group and we stopped for breakfast. My Yorkie "Jax" rides shotgun with me. They are normally closed in the off-season, but now open Thursday thru Sunday from 8am until 3pm. I was impressed with the food and the atmosphere and made a return visit today for lunch with Jax and a lady friend. This has to be Jax's favorite stop because he is treated like a King. Jax deserves it because he plays by the rules. His food comes to the table in a dish and is transferred to his own personal bowl and not in a human plate. When done, he waits while his human companions enjoy their meal. No begging. Time to relax with a belly full of steak. The food and atmosphere lived up to their five star reputation. They are a happy place you can go for a dog gone good time!

Yelp
We had been staying in Everglade City, and the only restaurant there was packed, so we stumbled upon this place before our boat tour and couldn't have been happier. First, the ambiance is awesome. Great outside dining area which is so cute and comfortable. All the chairs even had cushions on them for comfort. The menu for breakfast had some good choices, and we settled on ham croquettes and a guava and cheese filled Pastelito. They came out quickly and our server brought us some hot sauce in a little container which was awesome on the croquettes. I thoroughly enjoyed both items Our server was friendly and attentive and prices here are good. I would absolutely return when in the area.

Yelp
Hadn't been here in over 8 years. Was totally disappointed. It's not under the same ownership with that said, they need to improve on everything. I'll go back again soon, but not planning on eating. I'll have a few beers an appetizer and see who things have improved. Outdoor seating is nice with a good ambiance. Friendly, but under staffed. It was a Saturday

Yelp
Delicious and wonderful time at HavAnna Cafe. Our server was fun and attentive and could talk college hockey with this Minnesota family. We had the stone crabs, peel and eat shrimp, and two orders of the Mojo Slow Roasted Pork. All were excellent. The pork dish was the best (perfectly seasoned and with tasty plantains) and the shrimp (in a wonderful sauce for bread dipping) finished in a close second place. The key lime pie and cuban colada coffee was perfect. The flan was OK (room for improvement for our next visit next year). Highly recommend for your family. Nice work gang!

Yelp
Coconut pastalito. Get. This. Oh my goodness. I had the chorizo breakfast sandwich. Very tasty, the bread was probably my favorite, haha. Service was slow, but it seemed like they were trying to figure some things out. Atmosphere was perfect.

Yelp
This is by far the best find ! We came back 3 times! Open for breakfast and lunch...you can order everything at any time. Everything is made in house. Chef Has a well run kitchen with the freshest ingredients. Fresh fish daily.... We had the fresh oysters, mussels, calamari and shrimp. Raw, cooked with his magic sauce and peel and eat.... Definitely spectacular. Cuban sandwich was loaded with pork and ham.... Steak and egg sandwich on the toasted. I am bread was topped with home fries. The coffees......Cuban coffee... Tried every way they made it!! Even took a frosted one to go!!! Enjoy sitting outside listening to the birds as you eat!!!

Yelp
Heard nothing but wonderful things about this place but was disappointed overall. However I was warned that it was under new ownership and should proceed with caution. Like a few other reviews mentioned, it is less than to be desired. While everyone is super friendly, they're also running around with their heads cut off and stumbling over each other. More times than not I heard waitresses asking each other what table number was this or what table number was that and asking each other who was taking what table. As a server myself, it made me incredibly anxious. Since we had lunch elsewhere, we had hoped to get afternoon coffee and dessert/pastries. Our waitress informed us that they don't serve pastries after 11AM and there wasn't any dessert available. Ok.....I guess just coffee it is then! And I figured I needed to try something on the menu so I ordered a side of tostones. We ordered 2 Cuban Coffees and received 2 different things - my friends was way overly sweet, mine wasn't sweet at all plus it was lukewarm at best. We finished our coffees and still there were no tostones in sight. I went to the counter to pay and check on the food. Still at least six tickets behind, they luckily let me cancel the tostones and pay for the coffees so we could be on our way. I can't say it enough they everyone was super friendly just a little scattered and disorganized. I think with some time, experience & organization the employees will do great - just hope it's soon!

Yelp
Wow! What a hidden gem!! Tucked away on the front porch of 10,000 islands is this little slice of Havana flavors. I had the Cuban sandwich, which was huge. They added their own twist of Cuban pork to the traditional sandwich and made it even better. Hubby had the Cuban pork plate and wasn't disappointed, tender, juicy and very flavorful. If you ever find yourself down in the Everglades, visit this historic area and be sure to eat at Havana's!

Yelp
After our airboat tour through the Everglades, my family and I decided to stop in at Havana Cafe. What a special place! The setting is beautiful with trees shading all of the outdoor tables, birds chirping, and flowers blooming. Although it was packed when we arrived at around 1:30 PM on a Saturday, we were able to sit down as soon as we walked in. We were served chips and salsa once we sat down - very good! Our waitress was very kind, offering suggestions for what we should order. Per our waitress's suggestion, my husband and I split the shrimp enchilado - this was truly one of our favorite dishes we've ever had! The creamy tomato sauce is so flavorful with a bit of spice, and the rice, beans, and shrimp mixed in perfectly. The sweet plantains were also delicious. My mom and dad ordered the calamari and the grilled snapper plate (a special at the time) and both thoroughly enjoyed their dishes as well. Although a bit pricey, Havana Cafe is a must-try if you're in the area!

Susie M.

Yelp
What a surprising treat. We found this gem as we drove to Miami from the West Coast...this "hole in the wall":place has the BEST Cuban Sandwich I've ever had. We also loved the homemade chips. The outdoor seating was comfortable and really authentic. All the staff were friendly, helpful and made the whole experience even better. Don't. Is this!

Yelp
Went there for lunch nice place a bit pricey bit what place isn't these days. Wait staff is pleasant.

Yelp
We have been coming to Naples Florida for quite a few years and had never tried the Havana Cafe however my parents had been previously. My understanding is the cafe was a local favorite for some time when the family owners closed it down and sold it. It was purchased a little over a year ago so we headed to eat there last year but hadn't called to see if it was open. It turned out to be closed to finish up the remodeling. Well, that was a big bummer so this time we decided to call ahead to insure they were open and we could bring a dog on the patio. Prior to making that decision however, we had read many of the reviews and some were not good. A lot of the reviews were probably right after they opened and seemed to ding them for not enough servers for the volume of customers. We went back and forth and decided we wanted to go ahead and punch that ticket. After a wonderful drive through the Everglades we arrived and found it to be not only open but were greeted by the owner with a big welcome! He told to to go ahead and sit where we wanted so we did and were promptly greeted and served waters and menus. After making our choices we waited for our order of stone crab to come out for our appetizer. They were fantastic as were both the garlic butter and secondary sauce (may of had Dijon mustard?). It was the first time for all four of us to try stone crab so it was a momentous day! Three of us ordered the Cuban Sandwich and my mother ordered a shrimp dish over rice. The Cuban Sandwiches were absolutely amazing! The Cuban bread was something in and of itself! Light, airy and crunchy plus the mojo pork and ham/cheese were warm and delicious. The shrimp dish (I can't recall the name of it) had a spicy special sauce that incorporated grilled onions and peppers and was served over rice. They were not skimpy on the shrimp either! My husband ordered a coconut pasteles which he said was mind blowing yummy! To finish the meal my folks ordered the Cafe con Leche and it was the perfect ending. We talked to the owner on our way out to tell him how wonderful our experience was and he was grateful. He confirmed they just recently celebrated being open for a year. It pained him greatly to see the bad reviews but said there had been some bumps in the road. We all agreed everyone should give them a try and know that they really care and want to make the customers happy. Check it out people!!!

Yelp
We took a trip to Everglades City the on to Chokoloskee Island where we found this gem. The service was excellent, knowledgeable, attentive and super friendly. Outside tables with great decor! But the food was the star! The peel and eat shrimp were cooked to perfection and were in a delicious lightly spicy sauce. The Cuban was a favorite of my husband's. Definitely will return when we are in the area.

Sheri M.

Yelp
Cool lunch spot with an outdoor Florida tiki vibe. The mojo pork is amazing! The meals were served with Maduros, delicious black beans and rice . The vegetable platter was a little plain tasting - Squash , zucchini , onions and broccoli. The service was a little slow , as we overheard they had a new cook working. I would definitely go back !

Yelp
Havana Cafe is fabulous! It is worth driving out of your way to dine here. Located in Everglades City, the cafe was recommended by a local. We loved this restaurant so much we dined here twice during our short visit . It has great food, awesome service and set in a beautiful backdrop. There is a parking lot and we also noticed guests parking along the street when the lot got full . There is both indoor & outdoor seating . It's clearly a family affair here: during both of our visits , the owner was present . During our second visit a young girl, appeared to be about 12 years old was helping to seat guests and clear tables - she seemed like a family member of the owner and I love the work ethic being taught ! From where we sat we could peer into the kitchen and see the owner hard at work cooking with other employees working hard to get orders out quickly . I love seeing this ! The tranquil garden patio is relaxing, I recommend sitting outside in this area if you can. They feature live music on the patio and it is a great way to spend the afternoon lunching and listening to music in a beautiful setting ! I recommend arriving early for lunch because both times we noticed a long line developing of people waiting to sit on the patio. The food is amazing ! It's like someone's Cubano abuela made the food with lots of love ! The seafood is fresh and delicious! I had the Shrimp Enchilado on both visits because it was exceptional! It is gulf shrimp tossed in a house red sauce (made fresh by the owner we were told) and served with rice . It is amazing ! We also tried the scallops, grouper and tostones - everything was five star delicious. I do not think you can have a bad meal here . I also ordered the Sangria - it was perfect ! Just the right amount of sweetness. Do yourself a favor and put this on your list of must dine at spots if you are visiting the Everglades . Even if you aren't in the area, this place is worth a detour !

Jade H.

Yelp
Great breakfast !! Awesome people and service and killer grits and eggs! They are kid and pet friendly. Check out this gem at the bottom of the map!

Molly B.

Yelp
It was a bit overpriced (half portion stone crab appetizer was more than $40). We enjoyed the very fun and warm atmosphere - lots of lights and decor. Our food was good - portions were big (so we had lunch for the next day).

Yelp
Love this place. There was a musician playing his acoustic guitar and singing which added to the already fun, quaint outdoor ambiance. We loved sitting underneath the blooming bougainvillea branches. The black beans and the pork were so good I don't think I've had any better. This place leaves me missing it as soon as I leave.

Yelp
What a disappointment. We had dined here around 4 years ago and had a really good experience. So we were excited to return. We arrived at the Havana Cafe for breakfast on a Thursday morning. Our server greeted us and we placed our drink order. I asked if I could get a mimosa and she stated that she was unsure if that was available but would check. She returned with a mimosa, I wish it would have been unavailable as it was a poor excuse for a mimosa. As we ordered our food I requested a side of bacon for our daughter. Our server says "Oh you are my first table of the day and we were out of bacon a couple days ago. If we don't have it I'll come back." They had bacon, thank goodness as it was really the only thing I can say that was good from this meal. I ordered the chorizo sandwich with a side of home fries and my husband ordered the Huevos Rancheros. My sandwich looked good but lacked flavor. The bread was the best thing about the sandwich. The chorizo was good but nothing to write home about. The home fries were ok. The Huevos Rancheros lacked flavor and the presentation was terrible (he did unwrap the tortillas before I could get a pic). My husband asked our server if they had any salsa or sour cream but was told sorry we don't have that here. I ate a few bites of my sandwich and my husband picked around at his meal. I requested a to go box for my sandwich because I thought I could pick the chorizo off to snack on later and hated to waste the food. When I asked for the to go box our server says "I'll see what I can do." Uh ok. We did enjoy the outdoor seating while we discussed what could have possibly changed since our last visit. I had purchased hot sauce during our last visit and wanted to get another bottle as we left. We stopped inside and asked if they had the hot sauce for sale. We were told no sorry the new owners tried to get the recipe but the previous owner would not share it when they sold it to them about a year ago. Bingo. New owners. I really wish them the best and hope they can improve. It pains me to give anyone a 1 star review but it was overall an extremely disappointing experience.
google avatar

Shawn G.

Yelp
We had the peel and eat shrimp and the shrimp was super fresh and the seasoning was amazing. We also had the Cuban which was really good as well. Cool funky vibe here with shade everywhere.
google avatar

Julianna M.

Yelp
Adorable place with great ambiance, live music for lunch. Otherwise, I would like to preface the rest of this review with 1) I am rarely one to complain about food that is less than excellent, and 2) I biked 15 miles and walked 3 miles before coming here. I could not be more hungry. We basically finished our food because we were starving and couldn't afford to go somewhere else after paying for the price of the food here. The grilled chicken was beyond disappointing for 25$. I had a pile of very mushy rice and chewy chicken. The plate was considerably empty when it arrived. My date did have good things to say about the Cuban sandwich, but the chips are just not good. The pork is amazing, then there's 3 pieces of cold cut ham on it which makes it no longer good. Also 20$, with chips instead of fries. Let's end on a good note. The sweet tea is very good. Again, great ambiance if you are looking to have a drink, not a meal.

Yelp
Needed to find a restaurant in between Fort Myers and Boca Raton, googled a whole bunch and this one came up, it really caught my eye so we ended up here. Best choice ever! When you walk in you are in an outdoor paradise with umbrella covered tables. The decor is really cute! Ok to the food... I ordered the sangria. It was very good! The tostones delicious!! The grilled grouper... fresh and delicious and the best one I've ever had. The tres leches heaven! The maduros also sweet and delicious! The Keylime pie was one of the best I've ever had . The service was friendly, the owner especially was extremely friendly and a lot of fun. The town is absolutely adorable and I can't wait to go back! Thank you so much for a great day!

Yelp
Wow. Definitely worth the drive from Marco. My wife had the blackened snapper, I had a Cuban, best one ever. Be aware they are currently only taking cash.

Yelp
Bottom Line Up Front - well worth a stop. We came in on a recommendation from a local, which is always the way to find a good place in a new location. The salsa is made fresh daily and it is a tasty, unique starter, not too hot and a touch of sweet. The Stone Crab was cooked well and had the typical butter for dipping, as well as a honey mustard sauce. The crab is very tasty, but at $35 a pound I was expecting something more than the same crab every other restaurant in the area serves. The Cuban Sandwich was recommended by our waitress and by the people at the table next to ours. I usually think of Cuban sandwiches as a bit boring, this is not at all the case here. It definitely did not disappoint. The bread is baked in-house each morning and is quite delicious on its own. On top of this is an abundance of chopped pork shoulder that is very well seasoned. Ham, mustard, cheese, and some very tasty pickle chips round out this sandwich. I would have given 5 stars, but the place was out of ingredients for several dishes and the service was extremely slow. Nevertheless, the food was worth the wait.

Yelp
Havana Cafe earns it's stellar reputation with the quality of the food & generosity of the portion. A friend & I dropped in for mid-day lunch. Friend had their Media Noche sandwich, while I opted for their flagship Cubano sandwich. Drinks were an iced tea & a sofa. Complimentary chips & salsa appeared hastily with the drinks shortly after we were seated. Salsa had decent flavor & adequate bite to pass muster. Chips were of the sturdy sort calling for a bit of caution and attention while eating to avoid damaging your mouth. The Cubano was dense, moist, chewy & toothy, and decently presented given that it came in a plastic basket. Flavor was sumptuously rich & flavorful. Nicely complex mix of umami & tangy. It was probably the best Cubano sandwich I've had up to this point in my life. Really scrumptious. Bread was notable for being chewy without being tough, and very well suited to its duties of corraling the generous portion of fillings in the sandwich. While it didn't appear that large at first blush, the sandwich proved to be plenty enough and then some to fill me up. Prices here run a bit to the high side. Two sandwiches and two drinks rang in at the $28.50 price point before tip, so at the top of my $10-$15 per person lunch pricing window. However, I think the price is justified by the volume and, especially, the quality of the food. Staff was about 3.5 stars: a bit distant or distracted & not notably friendly, albeit proficient at their duties. Some tolerance is to be given though, considering that this is a popular eatery that operates steadily at full capacity so there is a *lot* of demand for their services.

Yelp
Food was amazing and the place is unique and quaint. I loved it! My waitress was the best, I was early and they were not open but she served me coffee while I waited.

Yelp
Food, service and ambiance was very good. We enjoyed the outdoor atmosphere in amazing Florida weather.

Yelp
Great food. Very hospitable and friendly staff. Three of us could have split 1 Cuban sandwich and home fry potatoes. French fries are pictured, but the home fries were the best thing I've ever had!! Very thinly sliced potatoes flash fried then topped with grilled onions. Cuban sandwich was huge and delicious. Thank you Havana. I would highly recommend this place if you are in town, doing an airboat tour.

Yelp
I Havana Cafe' in the Everglades is a must stop if you're in southern Florida. Family owned, worked, and it shows. If you come once you will always make it a point to stop by when you're in the neighborhood., if anybody comes to visit you'll make sure to take them there. By the way, the food is authentic Cuban, and very good. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu or the ever changing specials.

Yelp
Amazing spot!!! Atmosphere. Service, food and good vibe. A must stop if you're anywhere in range. Great menu choices, fabulous dishes. Very tasty. I had the Salad and watermelon drink. Highly recommended.

Yelp
What a great dinner! Had peel and eat shrimp appetizer that were served in a fantastic sauce, with fantastic blackened snapper and a Cuben. Great food, super friendly owner and staff, very atmosphere for outdoor dining. Exactly what I had hoped to find in this part of Florida.

Yelp
So this has been a favorite in town but I was disappointed in my last visit on Father's Day. We were a party of four and we were seated promptly. We placed our order quickly but waited quite a while for it. Now I have been when there is a waiting line just to sit so I am being fair that it was too long to wait. I ordered Blackened Chicken for $28 and was shocked when my plate of seasoned chicken tenders came out with a scoop of white rice and an awful presentation of beans in a water glass. Given the description and price I was expecting a chicken breast. Others in my party ordered the Cuban sandwich and we also disappointed with the one round pickle slice on each half of the sandwich. Our waitress clearly was struggling and didn't seem suited to the profession. Served the meal without utensils, forgot things and made multiple trips back and forth looking confused. Also missing was the ability to order a cocktail or glass of wine. I hear it's new owners but was really disappointed and can't imagine a return visit.

Yelp
this little slice of heaven is a hidden delicacy, and he must try! The staff is all welcoming and down to earth, and always have the best recommendations. The homemade bread is to die for, and you feel like you're in the back country of the Florida Everglades in a hidden tropical garden. It is simply BEAUTIFUL there and TASTY!
