"Flashes of colour bring a welcome liveliness to this Indian restaurant in an outer Newcastle suburb, where the modern interior subtly incorporates elements of Indian décor, rather than going for a full-blown 'curry house' approach. The menu's influences come from all over India, but the north does take precedence. Look out for the chef's signature curries – such as 'jhinga moilley', combining king prawns with a coconut and ginger sauce – alongside the more ubiquitous likes of bhuna and madras." - Michelin Inspector

First time visiting Haveli and we ordered the two for twenty special to celebrate our anniversary and had a wonderful evening! The food was outstanding, very full of flavour and beautifully cooked. The variety was brilliant as sometimes these deals can be a little limiting, but not at Haveli! The staff were very friendly and took the time to explain how the menu worked a D talk us through the food they laid out. Brilliant restaurant, we'll certainly be back!

An excellent meal. Took my elderly mother out for dinner, she picked the location. Service was excellent. Good was very good and my lamb curry was spicy without being too fiery. They also had an excellent Indian IPA called Bicycle Bombay which complimented the food well. Would definitely go back.

Cool on atmosphere, massive on flavour. Had a quiet Thursday night dinner. I Wasn’t expecting such a pleasant surprise. Lamb chop starter was delicate and warmly spicy and tender. Paneer main course was banging too. The service is excellent and also the food is great value for ££. Thanks.

Amazing food expertly explained during the ordering process by the knowledgeable staff. I visited this with my work colleges from overseas who loved the food and are already wanting to return. Superb.

Food is phenomenal, but we had mixed luck with the service. Likely a new waiter. Other than that quality and presentation excellent, with some fun twists on Indian classics. The chicken tikka kebabs starter is notable arriving in a brass tandoor to the table. Full bar, decent selection of lighter and Indian beer. Worth the trip and prices extremely reasonable.

Highly recommended. Polite and helpful staff as ever. A small range of menu items - in their case this is not a weakness! We visited near Xmas and don't realise that there would only be the fixed price Xmas menu. This could be better communicated on booking a table and on seating? The dishes are well judged and well cooked. Haveli is a cut above a lot of other establishments, meat used was great quality. Very flavourful. Only slight issue was an excessively long wait at the end for ice cream - 25/30 minutes! All the other food arrived promptly, and was fantastic.

I recently dined at Haveli Restaurant and had a fantastic experience. The Indian cuisine they serve is top-notch, and the quality of the food was outstanding. The flavors were rich and authentic, and I particularly enjoyed Lamb Chops. The ambiance was pleasant, and the staff provided excellent service. I highly recommend Haveli for a delightful Indian dining experience.

Everytime we've dined at Haveli, the food has always been exceptional. The lamb chops and seekh kebabs were succulent, flavourful, and perfectly spiced. For those who prefer milder options, the butter chicken and dal makhani were rich, creamy, and full of authentic flavours. The menu has something for everyone making it ideal for a family meal. The kids loved the butter chicken, and we all enjoyed the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were attentive and made sure we had a wonderful experience. If you're a fan of authentic Indian food, this place is an absolute must-visit.
