"Flashes of colour bring a welcome liveliness to this Indian restaurant in an outer Newcastle suburb, where the modern interior subtly incorporates elements of Indian décor, rather than going for a full-blown 'curry house' approach. The menu's influences come from all over India, but the north does take precedence. Hidden gem of an Indian, friendly staff that couldn't do enough for you, massive menu to pick from, with some different options to the usual fayre. Good range of cocktails, good atmosphere, feta cheese naan was interesting

First time here for a meal with my husband for Valentine’s Day. We really enjoyed the food and atmosphere however the service was very slow and we had to remind them about our drinks order several times. It was busy but we had pre-ordered our food (which they couldn’t find) so we were not expecting to wait as long as we did for that either. That said the food was very nice and hopefully next time we visit the service will be better.

The food is delicious. Fantastic value for money. Visited many times. However, I think the starters & deserts should be updated. There’s only so many times you can visit a restaurant before boredom sets in. We would have liked to see new dishes on the menu to enhance the experience. I have ate all over the UK at top Indian cuisines. This food is definitely up there, but it’s time for change in certain areas.

Took my daughter here for her 18th birthday and we absolutely loved it. This isn't your typical 'curry house', the portions are maybe a touch smaller, but the quality of the food and the depth of flavours are second to none. As a seasoned curry lover, it's some of the best starters, mains and desserts I've ever had. My daughter is just getting into Indian food but was equally impressed. If you've had 10 pints of lager and looking for belly busting portions and enormous nans, this isn't the place for you. If you appreciate great service, flavoursome, beautifully presented food (that still fills you up) then pay them a visit. We'll definitely be back.

Excellent food and drink. The "Signature dishes" are very much unique to Haveli's and delicious. The rest of the menu has classic dishes but often with thoughtful additions. Good wine pairings, good beer choices and decent selection of mocktails and cocktails. Lovely service throughout from the whole team. That are attentive and the pace of the meal was good (not too fast, not too slow) Always a pleasure to visit Haveli's when we are visiting relatives in Ponteland. We'll be back 🙂

Very good came for an 80th birthday and was greeted warmly after we finished our curry’s we where greeted with a complimentary gift for the birthday but unfortunately the “happy birthday“ written round the side of the dish was curry sauce. Overall it was very good curry and will be visiting agains.

Cool on atmosphere, massive on flavour. Had a quiet Thursday night dinner. I Wasn’t expecting such a pleasant surprise. Lamb chop starter was delicate and warmly spicy and tender. Paneer main course was banging too. The service is excellent and also the food is great value for ££. Thanks.
