I had heard from friends that Haven City Market in West Covina offers a wide variety of food options, so I decided to check it out for myself. The high, open ceilings give the space a spacious and modern feel, and there are both indoor and outdoor seating areas available. It’s like a large, upscale food court featuring an impressive mix of cuisines—American, Japanese, Korean, Taiwanese, Italian, and Mexican—as well as plenty of dessert, drink, and beer options. There’s truly something for everyone.

🛒 Supermarket Next to Food Court It's very convenient—you can buy groceries while waiting for your food to be ready. There’s a great variety of food choices. It offers both indoor and outdoor seating.

Haven City Market in West Covina offers a diverse array of food options, catering to various cuisines such as Japanese, Filipino, Mexican, Taiwanese, Korean, and fusion restaurants. It’s a great place to hang out and relax while enjoying the lively atmosphere. We tried Take Ur Seat and it was amazing, food was worth it. Tons more restaurants to try and can’t wait to come back. While parking can be a bit rough especially during busy hours due to its location in a small plaza, it’s worth the effort. Overall, Haven City Market is a fantastic spot that you should definitely check out.

Google
Haven City in West Covina is a great place for family and friends, or even just yourself. This place is huge and spacious. They have a lot of seatings. I went there during dinner time, it was packed, but there were still lots of table available. I love the tacoshi (taco+sushi) I got from LuckyTachoshi. I think it's a must-try! I also got Katsu Combo from KzMori. The portion was large. I think one plate could fill up 3 people easily.

Came by on a weekday afternoonand it wasn’t too busy, which was nice. Still looked really clean and chill. Tons of food options here, from Asian dishes to Western fast food. There’s also a Chinese market right next to the food court, all indoors. 🍦🍦Bonus: the coffee shop gives out free ice cream🍦🍦Tried food from three spots and everything was super tasty. Would totally come back.

Google
A Perfect Spot for a Memorable Hangout Haven City Market in West Covina is an exceptional destination for a casual and fun hangout with friends. The ambiance is vibrant, welcoming, and full of life, with a variety of food options to satisfy every craving. The layout is spacious, making it easy to navigate even during busy hours. The food vendors offer an incredible range of choices, from delicious comfort food to unique international dishes. Every plate our group tried was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care. What really stood out was the atmosphere—there’s a sense of community and energy here that makes it a great spot to relax and enjoy good company. Whether you’re catching up over a meal or just grabbing coffee, it’s clear this space was designed to create a memorable experience. The staff at each vendor were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive vibe. Haven City Market is not just a food hall; it’s a destination where friends can create great memories together. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great hangout spot in West Covina.

Google
Food court with a huge variety of meals, snacks and multiple alcoholic to non-alcoholic options. Indoor and Outdoor Seating. Furbaby dependants allowed outside. Outdoor area has stages for free shows. Parking can be a hassle once it gets crowded. Connected to the supermarket. So you can walk off your meal and get some groceries too. As for strolling around the whole plaza, it's a bit difficult as there isn't a consistent walkway around the whole area. Wifi/Laptop Work Study Tip: There are tables near middle areas, has outlets. We haven't tried wifing here but a friend who lives by mentioned it. The SO and friend (burger fans) loved Amboy $16 burgers, $10 animal fries. We also loved our vita cane sugar juice mixes from a different stall. If we visit again, we'd probably try the bar for a cocktail and Brewery for a draft with our meals. Loppy Llama Cocktail bar happy hour Tuesday-Thursday 2pm-5pm, and $8 Margaritas all day Monday.

Google
It was actually good, loved that they have tons of verities to choose from. Such as Taiwanese, Korean, Japanese, Brazilian, Mexican, Filipino, Cajun, Mediterranean cuisines and so many more. They also sell baked goods and drinks (both alcohol and non-alcohol) If you don’t like food court food, they also have lots of restaurants in the plaza. Not to mention, there is even a supermarket conveniently located in the market (FYI: it’s GW supermarket) Plus, the outdoor atmosphere was also great. So spacious! Service was nice and friendly. Worth visiting!

Yelp
I've been to other food halls, but I think this is definitely one of the better ones that I've been to. Maybe because it's newer, but also because I really liked the variety of types of food at this place. It was more than other food halls that I've been to since many food halls are focused so much on desserts, which this one just had a wide variety of different types of food. I also liked they had a few breweries inside, which made it a place where you might want to hangout. Finally, on a nice day, the outside seating is perfect. Since they're relatively new, everything is pristine and well maintained. It's definitely a place that we would go again and a place to meet up with friends.

Yelp
Haven City is a perfect spot to eat, hang out, drink or get dessert. The options are amazing here, and I cannot express how nice it is to have everything in one place. They seem to have live music, or themed events on weekends, and you can also book an event in their lawn area. I highly recommend this for groups or families that enjoy choosing their own cravings of meal options. My one and only gripe is that parking can be a hassle. The plus is that they brought HCM to West Covina, but at an already busy shopping plaza. Otherwise, this is something you can work out by carpooling, or walking further, or simply waiting a while to park.

Ming L.

Yelp
This place has transformed to a major food court with lots of choices for all kinds of different foods Bring your appetite There are also many restaurants nearby including a buffet that I won't try

Brianna V.

Yelp
Haven city market is such a cool spot with lots of yummy restaurants to try out! We grabbed some sweet fluffy pancakes, beignets, Mediterranean food & a sugar cane juice! Was such a cool place & will have to come back on a weekend to see some live music outside in the courtyard.

Angel L.

Yelp
Holy cow this place is packed with so many different types of cuisines! From pizza to fried chicken to Korean plates and Taiwan noodles. Came by on a Sunday nights and this place was buzzing from friends and family dining together. They did a pretty good job with spacing and seating. There's a mix of tables and picnic style tables. We didn't end up dining in since we just grabbed some groceries next store right before coming. We grabbed some pupusas to-go and have our eyes on so many things we want to come back for! There was a live band outside too, can't remember if they had any heaters outside but everyone was mostly inside since it's been cold out. Def a great spot, there's something for everyone!

Yelp
Review#1072~(SGV, CA)~ i wanted to give this new business a jump start of support so drove by to experiment a take out experience. Well. i gave a couple businesses from 'Haven City Market,' West Covina, CA., a shot but so far, only 1/2 of these experiences turned out successful. I'll likely return here for other drink places. I didn't get the same warm vibes as i have always received from their Rancho Cucamonga, CA., branch though. And i was surprised to learn of some new business names i can't get used to. I'm giving this local market a 4 star rating for now from 'Monday to Sunday Dessert Cafe,' for the first tasty drink i bought. Parking is offered free from this plaza.

Amanda T.

Yelp
Came here for dinner and had such a great experience! It's located in a plaza so the parking lot can be busy but there's ample free parking. I tried Cluck2Go's hainen chicken rice (with dark meat) and Vitacane's 50/50 drink. Hainen chicken (5/5): this dish was so good. The portion was big, the chicken was really well cooked, the rice was flavored nicely and fluffy, and the sauce that it came with really tied the whole meal together. This is probably my favorite spot to get hainen chicken and I highly recommend it! It also comes with soup which is a nice addition. The drink was good (4/5): definitely a really refreshing drink and I love that it has coconut meat inside the drink. It's on the sweeter side but the ingredients in the drink are all natural and clean. Once you order, you seat yourself at whatever table is available. There's plenty of tables inside and outside but it is a very busy food hall. There was also a live DJ playing the whole time that I was there, which is nice if you sit far but if you're sitting nearby, it's pretty loud. Overall I had a great time here and appreciated that this place had so many food options, all of which looked good. I'll definitely come back to try their other stalls.

Camila Y.

Yelp
Lots of different options within this food hall on West Covina! Big seating area inside and outside and great if you have a big party. I got the Hainan chicken rice plate at one of the vendors inside. Comes with soup, rice, and a lot of chicken you can choose white, dark, of both meats.

Yelp
**Review reflective for the taste of food at Lucky tacoshi and Baked Dessert Bar** Ambiance: gorgeous astroturf outside the market with many benches and aesthetic modern industrial look on the the inside with many windows with a lot of natural light. Service: the kiosk for Lucky tacoshi was tablet ordering, I was asked if I wanted Wasabi and soy sauce when I picked up my order. I didn't see anyone line of before me, but my order for the king salmon burrito took about 5 minutes and I was notified through text. Food: Quite disappointed with the portion of the sushi burrito not matching what they had in picture. When the burrito was ready, I feel that $18 was too much to charge for the portion that I received. Salmon did taste and looked fresh. But overall, it tasted average, like a slightly bigger Maki roll. I did enjoy the soy sauce packet as I felt there was a slight kick to it. The Dubai cheesecakes were a nicely dense cheesecake. However, even though they were both different flavors, it tasted exactly the same. The pistachio flavor did not come through, it felt as if it was more just food coloring and not actually made with any pistachios. I'm not sure what makes it Dubai chocolate either.

Yelp
This new food hall has been blowing up my phone, so we finally decided to stop by. I've also been to the Rancho Cucamonga location a few times and love the vibe at both. There is a big variety of vendors. I've been to a few of the them previously and went straight to Vitacane as it's one of my favorite drink spots. Plus, I needed to grab their yummy pandan cream coffee. KZ Mori and Cluck 2 Go are my other go to restaurants from other locations. This trip we decided on Dough Dudes Pizza. Other options include Banh MI (Vietnamese sandwiches), Sushi, Nashville Hot Chicken, Pupusas, Mediterranean, Korean, Hainan Chicken, Taiwanese noodles, Curry Katsu, Beignets, desserts, coffee and 2 breweries. So many choices! :) The space is nice with high ceiling, patio seating, an outdoor stage, tvs, cool murals and lots of seating throughout. Parking is plenty in the shared lot but will definitely be busy during meal times. Recommended!

Yelp
West Covina is kind of out of the way, so I was happy that we were able to make it after a doctors apt. When we arrived it was pretty empty and calm. No lines. It def got more crowded as we were leaving. We had the Tate of the Pacific, pizza place, agua fresca. Wish I had more room in my stomach for more food. lol

Carl N.

Yelp
Haven City Market (est 2024) of West Covina is a food market and entertainment space with max table capacity of 437 people. It has roughly 30 artisan food vendors and open daily from 11:30AM-9:30PM. Moreover, its parking lot is huge but gets filled quickly given the market's popularity. I enjoyed perusing different food from Centra America to Asia. Their indoor and outdoor benches were clean and organized. Free wifi available. Collectively, this is a nice food market place. And we thoroughly enjoyed the food and drinks here. If you're in the area, go check it out. I highly recommend it. Ciao!

Arturo M.

Yelp
Had a lively time with the fam bam at the Haven City Market. Nice. Open and spacious dining room with plenty of clean tables. High chairs were clean and easy to find as well. Tried the Dough Bros Pizza arugula and prosciutto pizza which was bomb. Chicken Catsu spot was also really really good. For dessert we went with the beignets (also tried their chicken but it got really soggy and wasn't very good) which were good, but not great. They reminded me of a greasy donut more than anything. I would definitely recommend the market to anyone looking for a casual and chill spot to take the family or hang out with friends. There is something for everyone there.

Myra F.

Yelp
Amazing establishment. There are plenty of good places to choose from. We tried the noodles spot and also the Brazilian restaurant which was self serve and price was by the pound. We also had some beignets and they were delicious. I recommend the peach cobbler and banana foster. I'll absolutely return to try more places. Everything is order and sit your self and the ambiance is a chill vibe. We went on New Year's Eve and it was very pleasant.

Kymberly M.

Yelp
Can't decide? You don't have to. This place has every from lunch and dinner to dessert and drinks. There's TVs almost everywhere so you won't miss the game. Everything is really clean and inviting. It's got a great vibe! Definitely stop at the beignet spot and GET THE RASPBERRY SAUCE!!!

Michael P.

Yelp
Glad to see a new revival to the decaying HK Plaza in West Cove! Use to live nearby here and would go grocery shopping or swing by the Vietnamese eateries tucked in the right corner. Haven City has made the plaza come back alive. Lots of eateries and drinking spots inside the packing district style food hall. Spent a few hours here having lunch and beers from Ogopogo. There's a big lawn area out in the front, pet friendly. Would recommend checking this out if you're looking to spend an afternoon hanging with friends or family in a relaxed and chilled environment.

Yelp
When I found out that Haven City Market (HCM) is also in West Covina (WC), I was so excited. It's located at the Hong Kong Plaza. A few of my dear Yelpie friends and I came here pre-Grand Opening just to check it out... a good handful of food vendors were not open yet. GW Supermarket is right next door. We all came back on Grand Opening Day on 11/02/2024. The ceremony included a spectacular speech from the Mayor of West Covina, Tony Wu, recognition of all the people who contributed to the making of HCM WC, swag giveaway for the 1st 100 people in line, ribbon cutting, grand entry, raffle prizes, and live DJ & band entertainment. There was so much excitement and fun! Btw, I was one of the raffle winners! Yay!! Got $25 voucher for Vita Cane. Thank you HCM WC and Vita Cane!!! About 30 plus food vendors are here to offer their specialty foods and drinks. Atmosphere is clean and tidy. Lots of inside and outside covered patio seating. Service was supreme all around. I brought both my daughters with me. We ended up getting foods from Cluck2Go, Kz Mori, Fat Daddy Fried Chicken and drinks from Vita Cane, Partea NYC. Everything was delish! Parking can be a challenge. You may need to drive around a bit. Just park and wait for someone to leave. Some street parking is available. Please do read the signs. I would recommend coming here early in the morning or evening to avoid the crowds because it can get really really busy. I haven't tried all the food vendors, but I would love to. I think I may have 5 more to cover. Yes, I've made great progress since Grand Opening Day. Let's continue to support our HCM WC!!!

Michelle T.

Yelp
This food hall offers a wide variety of dining options. The spacious parking lot can fill up on weekends, so plan accordingly. Dogs are welcome on the outdoor patio, and you might catch a live event or music performance. Service is great, and be sure to stop by the beignet spot. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available.

Clara C.

Yelp
Nice food court/cafeteria in West Covina. I love it because it's brand new and really clean. The outdoor area has fake grass and a lot of big benches and shade! They have black gates around because they sell alcohol inside. There are a lot of choices inside, which is great. The hard part is deciding what to eat. I haven't decided what's the best thing here, but the only company I recognized was Vita-Cane. Parking is free; there is a big lot but it gets crowded fast. There is free wifi, so I can see people getting work done here. I did not see any outlets though. I do think they should place wet wipes around the tables because people need to clean the tables after they leave.

Kathy M.

Yelp
Think of this like a fancy food court. There were so many food selections it was hard to choose from. They have pizza to japanese, Mediterranean, to desserts and a variety of drink choices. There is a decent amount of parking, but it is suggested to park far and walk. You will have an easier time finding a parking spot. When you walk up, there is outdoor seating and i would say a nice place for friends to gather and hangout out front. The only thing i didnt see outside were heating lamps. Bring something warm if you are planning on staying for some time. It does get chilly. Inside, there was a private event that was sectioned off inside the location. It was decorative and festive for the holidays. This is also connected to the super market. They have bench seating and the tables are long enough to fit about 8 adults. Because this is like a food court, there were a bunch of people. They gave out little beepers or provide you with a number. I had a good time with friends and I'll be back again.

Leilani M.

Yelp
Visited Haven city grand opening with a group of friends. We enjoyed the ceremony with ribbon cutting and grand entrance. The excitement was in the air with a great turn out. Swag giveaways for the first 100 people, raffle prizes and live DJ entertainment. Our friends with fast thinking snagged two tables before the crowd rushed in. We enjoyed our time trying various selections. I went for the Beignet spot. Perfect because I've never tried it and the line wasn't too long. Service was excellent and I wanted to bite into a hot fresh beignet. I also got the loaded fries with good chunks of spicy chicken, coke slaw, brown gravy and cheese. A good balance of textures and it wasn't swimming in sauce. Parking can be a bit of an obstacle on busier days, outdoor picnic table seating with green area for kids to run around. Large outdoor stage and shaded bar seating. Indoor picnic tables are scattered throughout. All vendors have tap to pay. So many places to choose from it's hard to decide I'll definitely try each spot one at a time. Can't wait for the next visit.

Yelp
Excited to see a new Haven City in West Covina right down the street from the office. This was a good repurpose of the shopping center that used to be here and should serve as a great gathering spot for the greater area. This location seemed significantly larger than the original Rancho spot. A lot more food stalls laid out in a linear design. There was a good mix of food/drink options. Really covers all bases so even the pickiest of eaters are sure to find something they'll enjoy. Plenty of seating inside and the outside seating is set in a really nice area. Even has a stage for live performance. You can even walk into the market to do some (Asian) grocery shopping. Ample parking. Easy to get to. The HC in Rancho is always buzzing and I imagine it'll be the same with this location.

Crystal T.

Yelp
Definitely the new big food market! I've gone to their Ontario location as I went to school nearby there but they are both equally as busy but filled with good eats! It was cool to see that they have their claw machine spot and the On + On restaurant follow them to this location as they're both big hits over there too. Ive came here when it was the day time and had no issues finding parking but night time and weekends are the worst. It's better to just find street parking rather than following others leaving to their cars. I love the variety of food options they have as I have been able to try out so many different fusions I have never had. My favorite is definitely their Salt & Pepper wings from the Hainan chicken place paired with a drink from Vita Canes!

Leo C.

Yelp
Absolutely love this food hall. So much more Asians options compared to other food halls. We came here during their soft opening and had amazing experience. It's located in Hong Kong Plaza, which is packed with lots of great restaurants. Though parking is big, it can be a bit of challenge during weekends. Plentiful indoor and outdoor seating. There's TV inside to catch latest sporting event like Dodgers, Lakers and NFL. Our visit included stops at the following: Ogopogo Brewing - sharlie hazy ipa is my favorite. Smooth and not too hoppy. Georgie Mediterranean Cuisine - chicken shawarma is absolutely delicious. Both rice and chicken are so flavorful. Fresh Korean Kitchen - Similar to Chipotle with Korean flair. Salmon bowl is okay. I thought salmon itself is tad dry and portion small . Honey terriyaki sauce is a savior along with fresh vegetables. Dough Dudes Pizzas - Their Margarita Pizza is on point and very delicious. Dough is perfectly crisp and chewy. Beignet Spot - OMG this place is a must. Excellent beignets, bet you can't just eat one. Dipping sauce are winners to - chocolate, strawberry and caramel. Taste of the Pacific - Filipino style bbq beef, chicken and shrimp plates with rice or noodle. I got chicken noodle plate ($22) which is amazing. Abundant amount of chicken and garlic noodles. Great value and highly recommend getting. Tacoshi - specializes in sushi taco/burrito and poke bowls. Salmon and Eel sushi were delicious. Nori as taco shell is okay, Fresh made tortilla taco shell or fried salmon skin would elevate this more....take note. Take Ur Seat - Ube Cloud Pancake - so fluffy and light, not overly sweet. Ube flavor is on point and coconut syrup elevates to next level yumminess - Winner and must. Highly recommend you check it out...Can't wait to come back

Omar F.

Yelp
Great place to visit. Lots of variety food spots. Lots of available seating indoors and outdoors. Outdoors is dog friendly. There are other food spots located outside of this food court so parking can be limited. It's definitely a place to go and enjoy the good eats.

Ben P.

Yelp
A new foodie hangout just opened recently in West Covina. If you are looking for a fun place to hang out and enjoy a variety of different foods under one roof, this is the place. There are many foods here to try. It's a good place for big group who might have a difference in food choices, so each person in the group should be able to find something they like here. They have both indoor and outdoor seating areas. So you should be able to find a table once you get your foods. This place is very crowded. Lines could be very long, especially on weekends. Come early if you want to beat the crowds. I would easily give this a 5 stars rating if it wasn't for the parking. Finding a parking spot is very frustrating to say the least. You might be driving around in circles before you are lucky enough to find a spot. There are too many restaurants for me to list, so if you are interested in what they have here, please follow this link below: https://www.havencitymarket.com/ Happy eatings.

Graciela C.

Yelp
Parking lot definitely needs improvement since they've expanded so much and so many are eager to check out the new food hall. THERE'S A FEW MORE TABLES IF YOU WALK TOWARDS THE GW ENTRANCE that's connected to the food hall. Lots of food vendors here and definitely something for everyone. From Asian to Mediterranean to Latin American.

Vanessa C.

Yelp
This new food hall is huge. It has a wide variety of choices from Japanese, Mexican, Salvadoran, Korean, Filipino, American, a cane juice bar, pastry vendor and craft beer vendor. It has lots of tables and areas to eat at. It does get crowded so plan accordingly. The only downside is parking. The parking lot is shared by a variety of restaurants and a market. However, if you're patient, you can find a spot.

Kimberly W.

Yelp
There was so many food options in this new food court space. I was able to choose from up to 10 stalls even during early noon. It's also connected to a GW supermarket so you're also able to shop while you wait for your food. Lots of parking Since it's a food court, there is an open space and the seating is shared by all vendor. it was pretty empty until around lunchtime. Then when it started getting crowded. I also noticed that nobody was there to take care of dirty tables, so please be mindful and clean up after yourselves. Most of the places are also hiring so if you are looking for a job opporunity, make sure you come in soon to apply as I think they're all hiring because this is a new food court and don't know how long they will keep taking applications. Most of the vendors are also hiring. TLDR - new food court connected to a supermarket, great option to buy food while getting groceries at the same time.

Amy N.

Yelp
Definitely worth checking out! As other reviewers have said, I'm glad to see this plaza revitalized and so many people enjoying their time at Haven City. The food hall is clean, new, and very prettily decorated, especially at nighttime when the decorative lights really stand out. There are also so many food and drink options here, ranging from Asian to Latin American to Middle Eastern to poké and more. You can get a little bit from many different places (which is what I did), so that you can try more things. And if you're not feeling any of the food options in the Haven City Market itself, you can always go outside and try out the other restaurants in the plaza. As others have also said, parking is a HUGE problem, especially on the weekends. I also regularly go grocery shopping at the Great Wall, which is the market that is attached to Haven City food hall, and I have learned to avoid going to the market during Haven City Market hours on weekends because of how stressful the parking situation can be. Weekdays are fine; parking is plentiful on weekdays even in the evening. As happy as I feel for the revitalization of the plaza, I also feel for the other businesses that share the plaza because I have heard that the lack of adequate parking has negatively affected their businesses.

Emily L.

Yelp
Lots of food vendors inside and outside of the plaza. We went on a Friday night so it was crazy busy. The parking lot was worse than a Costco lot on a weekend. Other than that downside, it is such a cute spot! There was an outdoor section with live music and plenty of seating despite being so busy. Lots to try so definitely going to come back!

Raymond G.

Yelp
In the past couple of weeks, I was here with a couple different friends. I liked walking around here. It is a bit smaller than the one in Rancho Cucamonga. But, really cool nonetheless to be here. It is definitely a new clean place inside and outside. It is a busy shopping center, so parking can be tricky to get right away. Park further away to have a chance at getting a spot sooner. I also like the outdoor table area they have here which they also have a nice big stage for future performances. This Market has not yet had the grand opening yet, which I believe will be on or around November 5th. So far, my favorite place here to get a drink was ParTea NY. I had a Taro milk iced tea that was delicious. I can't wait to try any places that will have Tacos here, since I am the self-proclaimed "Taco Connoisseur"! They have several tv's in the area to be able to watch sporting events if needed. Indoor seating appears to be a decent amount. They do have security here to make things feel even more safer when visiting. I can't wait to try Tacoshi and the Pupusas places. Please come check this new place out!!!

Kevin O.

Yelp
SORRY GLENDORA FOOD HALL, YOU'VE BEEN REPLACED. This food hall is massive. It's also got tons of different cultures under one roof. Salvadoran, Japanese, American,Filipino and Korean. If you don't know what you want to eat, take a walk, you will know. There's two bars for cocktails and beers and plenty of picnic tables to hang out with your friends. There's tons of parking since this is adjacent to a grocery store. I went on a busy weekend and decided to treat myself by sampling one item at several vendors. My favorite was the shrimp at Taste of the pacific, and the pupusas at VCHOS.

Lee L.

Yelp
If I were a ghost haunting one food court for eternity, it'd be this one. And it wouldn't be a bad afterlife either. The newly established Haven City Market, West Covina, follows the one in Rancho Cucamonga, with the advantage of being 5 years younger & a few times taller. It deviates from the original's grungy underground city vibes towards a botanical one, with natural light spilling through towering glass ceilings. Culturally and culinarily speaking, the spread is huge. From Hainan Chicken to Pupusas, your tastebuds will be hopping across continents. For now, I've tried Brasas Churrasqueria, Take Ur Seat Lite, Banh Mi Dealers, Dough Dudes Pizza, Cluck 2 Go, Beignet Spot Express, Vchos Pupuseria, & Vita Cane. And the food hall isn't even fully open yet! The items so far ranged from ok to awesome. Though not all winners, there's something for everyone in their every mood. Haven City's human population doubles around dinner time so be prepared to walk far & bring a designated table-saving buddy while you queue up. I'll be haunting this place often on my spare time, feasting on fresh offerings and human happiness.

Yelp

Yelp
It's amazing how the opening of Haven City has transformed this plaza. I remember it was such a quiet plaza with plenty of parking, but now, I had to drive around in circles to find a spot, and ended up parking in the street. Located next to GW Supermarket, Haven City Market is dominating this plaza. I feel sorry for the other shop keepers here, as their customers will now have difficulty finding parking just to visit their shops. There are a lot of diverse dining options here, which is really exciting. Most notable places are Take Ur Seat Lite with their awesome cloud pancakes (a mini version of the Chino Hills & Ontario locations), Cluck 2 Go, Georgie's Mediterranean, Vita Cane, & Ogopogo Brewing. I visited several vendors and I find that the prices are quite high for what you get. There are a lot of tables available, and benches outside as well if you want to dine al fresco. There's a stage area outside as well, so I believe they will have entertainment on certain days. Bathrooms are located in the hallway near Georgie's , but be prepared to squeeze into the stalls. I am not the biggest person and I felt it was tight going in and out of it - you have do do a little dance to get around the door as you open and close it. And why do they have an electrical outlet in the stall? So people can charge their devices while they use the restroom? I don't get it.

Yelp
This an amazing venue for foodies since there are a variety of food selections to choose from. This spot has great dinning areas (indoor & outdoor), big screen TV monitors, and bars to grab a drink. Now let's talk about the food, each dish we ordered was a culinary masterpiece that transported our tastebuds to various levels. With a perfect blend of flavors and d textures, that showcased the restaurant's commitment to high quality cuisine. We'll definitely be back to try other eateries and bring family a d friends.

Yelp
I've been to a couple of food halls, and this ones pretty good. The only downside is that parking here is absolutely terrible. There's a wide variety of vendors which is nice, and there's even an asian grocery store. The prices here are a little steep, but it's to be expected for a food hall. Service isn't that bad, usually a 10-20 minute wait for your food depending on the lines. It does get quite loud because of how packed it is though. Lots of seating throughout, I didn't really have an issue with our party of 8.

Yelp
It's a vibe, love the amount of vendors and the variety. Each location should be independently rated but just rating the venue. The food is delicious as a collective, appreciate the amount of seating areas inside and outside. similar style to Rodeo 39 but def more seating and variety. There is not specific staff to the venue for service just the cleaning staff maintaining the place looking nice. Will def come back and explore more places.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday night, and wow, this is a massive food hall and had many good options for food! Despite the food hall being super crowded, there was space for me and my girlfriend to sit to enjoy our food. The main con for me is the parking situation, it's clearly pretty bad during peak hours. They probably need an actual parking structure to accommodate the extra traffic.

Yelp
Such a well-executed concept! So many different restaurants offering an assortment of cuisines! There's a hand roll bar, a noodle place, a churrascaria, coffee, wines - you'll go nuts here if you're the indecisive sort. Seating doesn't seem to be an issue given all the tables and chairs inside and outside. And the outside area has grass so that children have space to roam and play. Come visit and see what they all have to offer. These small businesses make such good food that in combination with a festive atmosphere, guarantees a wonderful dining experience. Thank me later.

Yelp
There is the objective and the unobjective review. We can start with the unobjective A long time ago this was a vibrant food court and shopping hall. Slowly one by one the shops went out of business and the food court became less busy. During Covid the food court suffered but hung on. It was home to some amazing Indonesian, Malay, and Indian restaurants. There was this one spot called Janty that did a mie goreng that was nothing short of spectacular. Now those are all gone. I wish they were still here. Objective: The new food hall is amazing. I never thought a concept like this could work in this plaza but now having seen and been in it, it makes sense. It compliments the wide array of Southeast and East Asian restaurants in the Plaza (shoutout Bronco too tho). The faux green space is wide and inviting and we love taking our dog there to people watch while grabbing a bite. Prices for food are 2025 reasonable and they have a solid list of fad foods but also solid core staples. I hope Ogopogo holds on in there because we love their beer. There are more shops to come as well. The only slight knock which is of no fault of them is the parking and in and out of the Plaza can be improved as a whole. The entrance to the plaza is an accident waiting to happen. Other than that, nothing but praise for this spot.

Yelp
Haven City is a fantastic place to visit when you're hungry but unsure what you're craving. They offer a wide variety of options to choose from, a spacious and clean dining area, and a great music playlist that creates an enjoyable atmosphere. Every worker I've encountered so far has been friendly and welcoming. The food quality is excellent as well--I haven't disliked anything I've tried so far.

Yelp
This is a wonderful food hall with a TON of variety of vendors including but not limited to Vitcane (sugarcane drinks), Baked Dessert Bar, 2 Breweries, Filipino Food, Sushi, Beef Noodle Soup, Brazilian BBQ, Fried Chicken Sandwich, Pizza. Every time I've come though, parking has been a challenge. It shares a parking lot with a bunch of other restaurants and a 168 Market that's attached to Haven City so your best bet is to follow someone leaving to snag a parking spot. They have two restroom areas and a bunch of seating inside. Weekends can get super busy but they also have outdoor seating with turf which is nice so the kids can run around. Also the first time we came, there was a band playing which was super exciting! I'd imagine there'd be more opportunities for hosted events which is great for the community.

Yelp
I love the ambiance of this place, especially the live music during the evening paired with outdoor seating to enjoy the food from the market. The food is diverse here, and we tried the Brazilian BBQ, Japanese hand rolls, and the Papusas. Also the boba was really delicious as well. I would recommend 50% or less sweet because they do make it on the sweeter side.

Yelp
What a great addition to West Covina! Soft opening with over 20+ food stalls. The layout seems a bit tight but will have to see how it goes when it's a full house. Artificial plants to give it an outdoor feel indoors. Some local artist's mural to give that sense of this community, outdoors lined with artificial grass and benches for dining and great for outdoor entertainment. All the best to Haven City and let's get to eating!

Yelp
Haven City had a soft opening on Sept 28, 2024. It is located in the same shopping center as the Great Wall supermarket. The shopping center used to be called Hong Kong Plaza. The whole plaza completely changed it look. It is super nice. They have variety of Asian cuisines and retail stores outside the Haven City food court as well. I came here with my friends after having lunch near by and wanted to take a peek inside. Majority of exciting new restaurants are all opened. Few are opening soon. It is very spacious. Lots of nice seating tables inside and outside. The only downside is the parking. Plan to come early if you going have any meetup. There will be having grand opening on Nov 2, 2024. I will be coming back with my family and friends soon.

Yelp
Oh wow my Banh mi was incredibly delicious. Tender chicken meat with that dripping sauce I asked for. The bread was good, not exactly hard but nice on the inside. Service was kinda weird in the beginning because I didn't really see anybody, only touchscreens, so I ordered off from there. The guy that handed my food was quite nice so I didn't have any complaints

Yelp
I'm so excited that Haven City Market is finally open in West Covina! It combines eatery, entertainment, and pop-up markets. It's located on Glendora Ave used to be called Hong Kong Plaza with GW (Great Wall) Supermarket there. The whole plaza has been renovated and it looks completely new and very nice. The Haven City Market looks modern and contemporary and it's spacious with many indoor and outdoor seating areas. Their Grand Opening Day will be on Nov 2, 2024. Most of the new restaurants are open! The Savory include: TASTE OF THE PACIFIC (Filipino BBQ) ON+ON (Fresh Korean Kitchen- inspiration from bibimbap, a well-known Korean dish of mixed rice with meat and assorted vegetables served in one large bowl) Takeurseat Brunch (American & SE Asian fusion) Lucky Tacoshi (Sushi Tacos) BANH MI DEALER (Vietnamese Sandwiches) BLUEFIN HAND ROLL BAR Dough Dudes Pizza BRASAS CHURRASQUEIRA (Portuguese-style BBQ chicken with spicy sauce) NASHVILLE HOT CHICKEN GEORGIE'S MEDITERRANEAN Cluck 2 Go (Hainan Chicken) VCHOS Pupuseria Moderna (Pupusas) Fat Daddy Chicken KZ Mori (chicken katsu spot) AMBOY QUALITY MEATS & DELICIOUS BURGERS MONDAY TO SUNDAY CAFE (Dessert Cafe) JAWS TOPOKKI (Korean rice cakes Topokki, Gimbap, and More!) TAIPEI OG NOODLE BAR BAO SHU TANG (Cantonese Eatery) CR8ZY BAO (handmade delicacies) They have many places for drinks. The dessert places include Baked Dessert Bar & Beignet Spot. We just tried the Beignet Spot for dessert after lunch today and it was pretty good. The parking is an issue though. It's very difficult to find parking, especially on the weekend like today. They should have more parking spaces because there are many businesses inside of the Haven City Market plus the GW supermarket and there are also many other restaurants in the plaza. Anyhow, we will be coming back soon!
