"This quiet, underground spot in Soho is the sort of place where roses float in bowls of water and treatment rooms are candlelit. We come here for the waxing, specifically for “The Gourmet.” With essential oils and vitamin E to reduce irritation and redness, it's a smooth finish all around."

I had a wonderful experience at Haven. My massage therapist Heidi was excellent and provided a gentle, soothing and peaceful environment, highly recommend her services. I also had a great mani/pedi experience with June who was very kind and accommodating to my requests. I’ll definitely be returning! Thank you!

I got the European pedi done by Raquel. The water was hot (I recommend telling them to make it warm.) Both of my big toes hurt due to the cuticle cut she did. However, she scrubbed my feet extremely well.

UPDATE: I spoke with Haven and I think they are going to update the language of their hammam treatment. Very nice of them to reach out. Overall my experience there was very nice and I will likely return, just for a different service. I got the hammam body treatment and it was just OK. I loved the steam room, but the treatment itself felt more like I was being showered by someone than exfoliated. I’ve had a few hammam scrubs in the past (with gritty black soap and many buckets of water) and this was not that at all. If you’re looking to see rolls of dead skin sloughing off of your body, this is not the treatment for you. I received a very cursory brush over with exfoliating gloves from my technician and a lot of massaging oils into my body, but no real removal of deep dead skin. The oil and wrap were nice, as was the excellent scalp massage, but it wasn’t what I thought I was signing up for. It almost felt like false advertising. My masseuse Sophia was great! If you want to leave feeling super soft and relaxed, this might be for you. If you are like me and want to leave feeling like you just had the top 2 layers of skin scraped from your body, look elsewhere.

I had the most incredible spa day at Haven and wanted to give a special shoutout to the amazing team who took care of me! Eleonora gave me a beautiful, calming massage that helped me let go of every bit of tension I walked in with. Sophia was absolutely my favorite — she did my body treatment and facial, and I loved every minute of it. My skin is still glowing! She has such a gentle, skilled touch and made the whole experience feel luxurious and restorative. June wrapped up my day with an amazing pedicure and gel manicure. My hands and feet feel (and look!) brand new. Every service felt intentional, and I left feeling refreshed from head to toe. Thank you, Haven Spa — I’ll definitely be back!!

An honest and true review: 1. Haven is a BEAUTIFUL location. It’s very serene and warm. The people on the front desk were very attentive and kind, and made sure I was taken care of to start my appointment. They had a great lobby with tea and snacks provided for. 2. With everything so professionally done, I was caught off guard when my nail technician asked me what services I needed to get done. Part because I didn’t know the name of the services I had booked, part because I thought they should know already because it was communicated to them. 3. The service was great for the most part. My nail technician took care of me. The only negative part of the experience was when I was getting my manicure done. I had given the technician a heads up that I’m REALLY picky with the shape of my nails. Like I want it perfect; especially since I used to do my own nails and also I will have my nails for about 3 weeks. At first, she was cooperative, then when it came to my other hand and I said it needed to be shaped more evenly. She said it’s good. I said no it’s not. She explained how it’s okay because it’s about how people see it. But I could see with my own eyes my nails were uneven and I responded that *I* will be seeing it. She was not happy, but did it anyway. I just didn’t appreciate that exchange. When I got home, I felt the edge of my nails bumpy…. Thank God I had the nail file they gave and was able to fix it myself. Because if not, it would have driven me crazy!! The last thing I would say is because I am new to getting my nails done, I would take note of how long it lasts (gel nails). For this particular salon, it lasted about 10 days before the gel chipped. Which I think is not the best.

Lara gave me the best massage of my life. She really listened to me and understood my goals and pain points. I was blown away by how perfectly-suited the massage was for me. She made me feel comfortable and totally taken care of. I can't wait to go back!

This was my second visit to Haven Spa and to Lara. The front desk people were courteous and helpful. I was welcomed by Lara right on time and she started by asking about the reasons why I came to Haven Spa. Her massage was extremely thorough and sought to address my specific problems (lower back pain and neck stiffness). She added a treatment for my tennis elbow as I mentioned this ailment in our conversation during the massage. Lara is very attentive to your needs/issues and adapts her massage to address them. She will not force a conversation if you don't want to speak but will have one with you if you feel like it. Overall, a great experience! I would recommend without hesitation both Haven Spa and Lara.

My facial with Mariola at Haven was sublime. She was thorough and gentle, and I left extremely relaxed with my skin glowing. I highly recommend Haven and will definitely return.

Yelp
I've tried facials at various spas, but I keep coming back to Haven. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing, and the estheticians are knowledgeable and skilled at addressing skincare concerns. While it's on the pricier side, I particularly love the boot camp facials. Though the extractions can be a bit painful, they're very effective at thoroughly cleansing the skin, removing blackheads, and minimizing pores.

Yelp
Came to haven with a birthday gift card & had the Geek massage (focus on upper body). The experience was heaven, Zac was great & the place completely exudes zen & quiet. Not sure if prices are high or its just the state of the economy. Had a 150 GC & paid 100 to cover the extra & the tip. Overall completely satisfied & highly recommend.

Yelp
My friend is a regular at Haven and always sings its praises. I found myself in the area and decided to pass on those dime a dozen nail salons that are cheaper but sloppy with their practices (pre and during Covid). Haven's services are by appointment only and I called on a whim to make one for a pedicure. I got lucky because my appointment was 10 minutes away since they had a cancelation and I was in the area. Haven is truly spa like and since it was my birthday, I also got 10% off the total! Yes, the stars were aligned for this impromptu visit. When I arrived, I had to fill out a profile questionnaire and was shown to the woman who would pamper me to the pedicure. She explained the three kinds of pedicures: a mini for $31 and 30 minutes, the European at $42 and 45 minutes and finally the Renaissance which was $80 and a full hour. I was pressed for time and chose the European. The entire section of 6 seats, was fully and thoroughly sanitized. I was the only person there for a while, but the middle seat was never used to ensure safe distance between individuals. Everyone gets her own pedi file along with a few other tools. If you remember to take it along upon your next visit, $2 will be deducted from the total, otherwise they'll provide another set. I enjoyed the leg exfoliation and callus removal as well as the mini massage. They also have a wide array of nail polish colors to choose from. The atmosphere was relaxing and there were back rooms for massages and additional services. I felt comfortable and secure getting a pedicure that follows proper pandemic protocol. With the drying time, I was there for more than an hour, but I am definitely going to return to this business. You cannot put a price tag on cleanliness and safety especially during a pandemic. Check them out.

Yelp
I had a very good experience here, I had an upper leg and bikini wax done by Lora. She was an angel, made me feel so comfortable and safe. I am plus size and went into the appointment a bit nervous about looser and softer skin, but Lora was incredibly kind and reassuring- waxing is for everybody and a body is just a body! Thank uuu

Lexi S.

Yelp
I would avoid the express facials, they are 18 minutes long and $75. All they do is clean your skin once and put a face mask on for 10 minutes. It felt like a complete rip off. The only thing the manager had to say was "well you did sign up for the express facial so it is pretty short". Very disappointing $75

Yelp
My first time ever getting a mani, pedi Fahmida was really friendly and welcoming, we had a wonderful conversation and she was careful and thorough. Inside was very clean, nice staff Took a look at some previous reviews, and can see where the front desk personnel can be curt. I just thought they handle a large volume of requests though? They seemed busy but were not rude to me or my friend. Prices also seemed a little high but as someone who is a little nervous about sanitation and cleanliness in general, this was ideal Location in Google Maps is a little deceiving though, both me and my friend were fooled to walk on Broadway- make sure you stay on Mercer!

Yelp
Will not be returning. Tried multiple massage therapist and was consistently disappointed. (Had only one good experience, tried to book with them again but was told that therapist unexpectedly stopped showing up for work). Steam room is always out of order when I visit. Never heard back from management after they promised me a follow up.

Yelp
I went to this spa for a massage - after a stressful time and having a lot of tension in my back. After checking in, I was surprised not to be given access to the locker room, robe or the spa lounge, and just was led directly to the room and told to get on the table. There was no question or discussion about what I was looking for, or the problem areas or anything. I tried to tell the therapist the areas to focus on and the pressure I preferred, but they seemed to just "go through the motions" and not really address my concerns. The massage itself was just okay and overall light pressure and not a typical deep tissue massage, which I booked. After I was left covered with oil and still was never offered access to the locker room, I had to ask. Overall this is a mid range spa without much personalization or special attention given... it wasn't too pricey either so you get what you pay for.

Yelp
Receptionist was very nice & was taken on time. The Haven Pedicure (just under $100) is supposed to be 60 mins. It was 45 mins & the nail technician had a cough attack during the massage ("long massage" listed in the internet description but was 12 mins) & didn't excuse herself. While my feet were in warmers for 10 mins at the end, she cleaned / swept all around me (looks like I was the last appointment.) She then went to attend to the garbage and didn't see her wash hands before coming back to complete the pedicure. Was not relaxing at all. First & last time client.

Yelp
Booked myself a spa day as a birthday treat: harmony massage and haven foot renaissance. The staff, over the phone and in person, is absolutely impeccable. The kindness, the service, the genuine and effortless assistance... made my day. The facility is gorgeous beyond belief. The starry ceiling left me speechless. The decor and cleanliness of the space is just perfect. Can't say enough about that. The massage was just what I needed. It was relaxing and the masseuse had such a charming personality. Really recommend experiencing a massage at this spa. The haven foot renaissance is the reason I dropped a star. From the menu's description, I just expected so much more. I was very underwhelmed by the experience. The worst part was that the nail polish was not painted on neatly and then chipped within 2 days. You would think that a pedicure costing $80 would at least come with polish that'll last. "...bathed in a special blend of stimulating algae and essential oils, gently sloughed and then packaged in a hydrating wrap. A long, delicious moisturizing massage follows..." sounds intriguing but did not feel as such. Definitely did not experience a long or delicious massage. I have to go get another pedicure now cause the polish is horrible currently. Haven Spa really is so gorgeous, accommodating, and special. I would consider returning.

Yelp
Enjoyed a great massage for 60 minutes. I feel much better after all that work on my muscles. I hope to return.

Yelp
I just came back after their reopening and I got a facial with the mask on. I know it's not ideal but my skin really broke out on my forehead. I had deep pimples for weeks and my esthetician was able to take the pimples out immediately. My skin was flat and smooth after the treatment I know it still has to heal but excited in how great it looks immediately after. I do think that it's over priced being that it was $100 for only the forehead and the neck since you had to wear a mask. They should accommodate the price to reflect that it's not a full facial. 5 stars for quality but 4 because price is to hi for only half a facial.

Katharine C.

Yelp
First and last time at this place. Thinking I would get the renaissance pedicure for a more luxurious pedicure experience. Would not spend $80 for this experience. Very average.

Yelp
This was one of the worst deep tissue massages I've ever had. I get massages every few weeks and I've been to Haven spa a number of times, but the quality has gone downhill. My masseuse did not know what he was doing at all -- weak pressure and zero technique. I came in for back pain and yet he spent half of the time massaging my collar bone. It was unhelpful to say the least. I've had $30 massages that were 10x better than this. For the prices they charge, you'd be better off setting your money on fire. Don't go here.

Luca D.

Yelp
I've been coming to Haven since 2018 when they closed their other location (Eve Salon). I have to admit, I was reluctant to move over because it's a longer walk. I'm so glad I did. I LOVE the staff, and I see many of the same faces that were at the old location. I think the services are great - I mainly get waxing and nails, but I've also had facials and massages, those are more of a treat for me. Other than the quality of service I think what keeps me coming back is that it's clear that the people here care. They care about what they do and they care about their customers. I never feel like it's a factory, churning out services to make a buck. Yes, they're a business, but it's clear it's more than that.

Nina K.

Yelp
Haven is the best spa for waxing I've ever been to, my skin is so sensitive but everyone here does such a great job. There's never a stray hair and they really take their time to make sure it's done well! From eyebrows to Brazilians this is the spot. Also the receptionists are always super nice. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Nail-Shamed. I'm not a constant reviewer of places, spas, restaurants, stores, etc. But when I have an experience that is so fantastic or something at the opposite end of the spectrum that was so bad, I feel compelled to use my voice and give my review. This is particular review is of a good place with one bad apple...an employee that completely ruined my experience. I was treating myself to a pedicure after a long time of being pandemically forced to do it myself at home. I did some research on the best pedicures in NYC and Haven came up on several lists touting it's amazing experiences with some rave reviews. I made an appointment and gleefully looked forward to my special treat. The staff behind the desk was warm, friendly and very welcoming. I was paired with Gladis. Have you ever gotten a bad feeling right from the start? That was me, I had a bad feeling in my gut (and my gut is usually right). I shyly took off my socks because I hadn't had a pedicure in a while and boy did I need one. I told Gladis what i like for a pedicure and that i like my nails short and clean and cuticles cut. I'm a guy so when she asked if I want color I giggled no thank you. After dipping my feet into luke warm water for a few seconds, Gladis was raring and ready to go. I explained again that I like my nails short. I'm not into having long toenails. Even on the very first little "clip" i politely said they can be shorter. She barely grazed each toe with a quick snip of the very end of the nail and on to the next. I sheepishly said again, " you can go shorter" without sounding like a dick. She kept going without a glance of acknowledgment. I knew this wasn't going well and my anxiety was mounting. Without hesitation she started pushing back cuticles and all of a sudden we were already on using an exfoliating brush. Note: barely 10 minutes had elapsed on my 30 minute pedicure. The moisturizing foot lotion came out so fast I had to ask her to pause for a second. I again politely said, "I really want them shorter can you trim them more and file down these rough edges" She said "No. They're short enough." Literally a direct quote. In all my years getting pedicures this was a first. Kind of shocked I asked her again to make them shorter. "No. They're short enough." Excuse me? Wait, what? As she continued to put moisturizer on I was so shocked and embarrassed that had lost all control over my own pedicure and was being scolded and nail-shamed by Miss Gladis. I halted everything and asked for the clippers (I've never done this) and started clipping my own toenails showing Gladis that, yes this paying customer knows that indeed his very own toenails can be cut shorter without hesitation and without injury. At this point - I was done. Done. Im a 50 year old man being nail-shamed by a complete stranger that I was paying for a pedicure. I asked her to back off, said "we're done here" and shaking my head in disbelief, I put on my socks and sneakers. I went to the front desk and the ladies were unaware of what happened and I laid it on them about Gladis refusal to complete my request and give me a proper pedicure that I was asking for. They were very apologetic and retrieved the manager post haste. I reiterated the experience and while she apologized and removed the charge, I was dazed and disheartened that I had wasted a couple of hours coming from Brooklyn for my special treat. Im not sure if I did or did not do enough to express my disappointment but I left with a little candy cane and a whole lot of bewilderment, frustration and dare I say a little pissed off wondering why this happened in the first place. Was it because I'm a guy and guys "aren't as concerned" about quality pedicures as women? Well that's dead wrong! I used to go to Jin Soon in the village for years and always had a great pedicure. So while Haven is probably a good place for ladies pedicures, this particular guy had such a dreadfully bad and disappointing experience that I have to speak up and put it out there that if you go here, avoid Gladis and go with someone else.

Yelp
I wanted to inform you about my phone call with the assistant manager. She was insulting. I hope they record the conversations because making fun of people for being Asian is not ok. I tried to set it up even though she had an attitude the whole time. Then, when I called her out, she screamed at me and hung up. I was trying to schedule appointments for my wife and our three daughters. I am sorry that haven feels this is an ok practice and way to talk to customers.

Renata J.

Yelp
After I posted my review, I heard from someone at Haven offering me a free facial since obviously my first one wasn't ideal. I started asking questions, because the only reason to get a free facial was if the first one was somehow unusual or off brand. Turns out it was not. So my review stands.

Yelp
Terrible customer service. Planned a bachelorette party and they canceled the nail services the day of. They did not try to accommodate us at all. It was pulling teeth to try to get them to give the Bride a robe. All the locker and steam rooms were closed so can't even do a basic thing like change or keep your belongings somewhere. Do not waste your time or money here.

Ashley S.

Yelp
I just had a great massage with Marie at Haven Spa, and would highly recommend her! She was super attentive to my concerns - and I personally thought the experience was worth the price. I'll be back soon!

Yelp
I had a fantastic deep tissue massage last week! The massage therapist was very thorough and addressed all the areas that were troubling me. I definitely left the room with greater ease of mobility and less pain. The atmosphere is welcoming and soothing, with stars on the ceiling, soft music, a lounge area stocked with different teas, blankets and pillows. There is also a steam room in the locker rooms. I would definitely come back.

Yelp
I echo the other negative reviews here. Wish I had read them before booking two services. Mediocre treatments. The hammam treatment and aruycedic treatment aren't closer nearly as nice as the real thing. Indifferent, sometimes rude staff. Curt front desk people who didn't really greet me. One of the massage therapists actually made me sigh quietly to myself because she was being so patronizing/unhelpful during the consultation before the treatment. Hammam treatment esthetician was much nicer but, treatment was still mediocre. Was just rubbed softly with soap, rinsed, super gently scrubbed with exfoliating gloves, then rubbed with a watery clay that felt more like another soap. "Wrapped" barely in some plastic and left to wait for a few minutes then rinsed off, another quick oil rub, and then done. ???? I could have done that all myself for free with drugstore products. She also just left all the plastic drapes etc from the service crumpled in the corner when she was done to clean up later. The floor was totally wet from the water which wasn't nice to walk through Afterwards, No one even brought me a cup of water, which isn't a big deal, but come on even Chinatown massage places usually do that, never-mind a place I spent almost 500$ at. Beautiful setting and super clean, but I couldn't even enjoy those aspects that much. The nice lounge area is separated by the front desk by a curtain and instead of enjoying the quiet all I heard was the women at the front desk chattering constantly... And there was no hot water left with which to make tea. Update: in less than a day I got a long, unhinged message from one of the staff here. Kind of just proves my point.

Sabrina A.

Yelp
This was the worst spa and massage I've ever experienced. I booked (and paid for) a 90 min deep tissue massage, and it was terrible. It was not deep tissue at all, and the masseur clearly had no understanding of the body and muscle. He also used the 90 min terribly, and instead of taking his time going deeper where I needed it, he just repeated the same soft movements over and over again. The room was also too cold, and the music wasn't good. The whole spa's decor is tacky and I could hear people in the hallway talking loudly during my massage. So even the environment wasn't relaxing. Not a single redeeming quality at this place.

Yelp
I was really looking for a good spa and thought I had found it... sadly disappointed.. I came in for a bootcamp facial with microdermabrasion.. i left the place with multiple bumps on my face which the aesthetician assured would fix itself in a few days.. and did it fix itself!!! Few days down i was left with scars on my face and acne from where she cleared up my pores.. She said i should come in for another mini facial if i see any acne popping up... but after the scars she left on my face i dont think I can go back... To top it all this place weighs heavily on your pocket making me feel further stupid going here.

Yelp
Haven Spa is truly my haven. I have been going for years for treatments and then life shifted a bit causing self care to take a back seat. Like third row back seat. Might as well be in the trunk back seat. Well, I went last week and still feeling the glow. Had an incredible massage that I'm already hoping to do again in January and the hydra facial reminded me that, yeah, I need to do this more often. Mani and pedi are so solid and love the Zoya colors. The spa pedi massage felt meditative. Can not recc enough!

Yelp
overall enjoyable spa but a couple of issues. 1) they don't give you a treatment for the length that they advertise. my treatment was meant to me 1.5 hours and it was only 1 hour. someone in the lobby had the same issue with the treatment being cut short. 2) i think the person performing the treatment could have performed it better. water was splashing in my face etc 3) also a worker walked into my room in the middle of my treatment. i think it overall felt very rushed and i wasn't a cherished guest so i am not going to come back considering how expensive it was and how it does not live up the hype. the negative reviews here are accurate and i wish i read them first.

Steve K.

Yelp
Utterly rude front desk person. Simply unhelpful and unpleasant. Bad vibe about the place overall.

Yelp
I can't believe I was Down the block from this AMAZING spa for years, and just recently found out about it! The staff is so genuinely welcoming! My nails, and blow dry's always look amazing, no matter who caters to me. (I have no preference, because no one disappoints here.) They have a room in the back which is absolutely STUNNING- dim lightening, serenity, and stars! Cookies and fruit water is also available for those who wait. WOW. 10 stars from me.

Yelp
Such a stunning spa! I received a 90-minute Deep Tissue Massage here and was blown away upon walking down the beautiful, seemingly star-lit corridors. Before my appointment, I was handed a pair of slippers, then led to the ladies' locker room, which has robes, towels, a steam room and showers. I changed into my robe, then sat in the back waiting room, which has water, tea, fruit and crudite to munch on. I was then greeted by my male masseuse (his name escapes me, sorry!) who treated me to a fantastic, therapeutic deep tissue massage. I usually prefer female masseuses simply out of personal comfort, but the male masseuse here made me feel completely safe and relaxed. He worked out all my knots and paid special attention to my sports injuries as requested. He did an AMAZING job!!!! He said he also sspecializes in medical massage and foot reflexology, which is great for runners, so I may return in a few weeks. :)

Yelp
I come here for facials every few months and have had a great experience every time! Sophia in particular does a great job with extractions and removing ingrown eyebrow hairs without leaving many (if any) bumps or scarring.

Yelp
Booked services here for my friends bachelorette party. I am not going to go into every detail of the experience we had here, but I will say if you can go somewhere else, do so. If I can help someone else avoid the horrible experience we had, then that's all that matters! There are many other spas in NYC that are welcoming and accommodating and provide a service worth the money spent. Only reason I'm leaving two stars is because the girl that did my blowout was phenomenal. Response to the inexcusable and unprofessional comment back from management: I didn't want to take the time out of my busy life to detail the horrendous experience we had at Haven - but here goes. I see now it starts with management so I feel more understanding of how rude the staff was upon entrance! This is the way it started out. The staff didn't even know who to place me with first and had me waiting an additional 20 minutes before services were initiated. Like I've said - the girl that did my blowout was awesome! Which is why I'll give any stars! Then I was rudely prompted to the mani/pedicure area where I had by far the worst and most expensive pedicure of my life. We had to rush to leave to decorate for my friends party but when I left I noticed all white on the skin of my toes, and it was clumpy and uneven polish - unacceptable! I have gotten a longer massage for a 12 dollar pedicure. This was nothing on what they did to my friend. The wonderful woman who blew out my friend had an unfortunate medical emergency. My friend took care of her giving her water and Advil. After quite a while the staff took her into the back. No paramedics were called. They left my friend waiting with half wet hair half dry hair for over an hour in the hair service room. The advice they gave my concerned friend was "we have no one else to do your hair sorry". My other friend wound up blowing her out. My other friends just got pedicures and said they were horrendous also. This has nothing on how the situation was handled after the fact. The management called my friend and belittled her. If you read the comment from management above - you will see what I mean, as this manager did the same towards me. As someone who worked in retail and hospitality for years while going through my schooling - never in my life have I witnessed such treatment of paying customers. Instead of accommodating and apologizing - management decided to argue with the customer and belittle and barrage my friend. This speaks volumes to the type of establishment this place is. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT COME HERE!! To Audriala- the manager - wishing you a quick hangar in attitude and professionalism. Best of luck!

Yelp
I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about Haven. Lara is an amazing masseuse and a beautiful human being. I have never been treated with anything but the utmost kindness and respect by everyone at Haven. I look forward to every visit. Thank you!

Yelp
This was an amazing experience. I went in for self care and pampering to de-stress and found exactly what I needed. I got the Fire & Ice facial which was intense but pretty dope. I also go their Peach Smoothie which was more out of curiosity. My wonderful coach on this pampering journey was Monica, who was warm, friendly, funny, and seemed super knowledgeable which was helpful in learning the ways my skin has changed with age. I would recommend Haven and plan on returning.

Yelp
Excellent hydra facial- I walked out with impeccable skin! Very pricey but I would consider returning and not doing the extra pkg for hydra facial

Yelp
I saw a video on instagram about their Peach pit treatment and I was sold. I was curious since I battle with underarm discoloration. Tech told me the treatment wouldn't treat my issue but I gave it try anyway. She explained everything before starting and gave me some insight on what I should do. The treatment was very gentle and not painful. It's exfoliating, checking for razor bumps and ingrowns, it's really a facial for your pits. I wouldn't do it again as it didn't have much of a difference but I'd come back for other services. Very nice place. Great staff and great experience.

Yelp
5 Star Customer Service! Especially during this crazy covid time, taking care of your customers is so key! Haven Spa delivered for me and I felt the need for a public shout out.. thank you! I'll be in for a facial as soon as all this mess end.

Yelp
The location was nice and clean but the massage was not good. I asked for a strong deep tissue massage and half the time I could barely feel his hands. My back and neck are very strained working 7 days a week and I was using this as a way to fix all the kinks and pain front be past month. This was not worth the $200 in my opinion (I've gotten much better for less). Maybe a different massage therapist would have been better

Yelp
**update** manager actually called me right after i posted this review and she listened to my concerns, and I really appreciate that, if i book again, i will book with her only.*** First Impression/Front Desk: I'm so confused. The place was gorgeous, but the desk staff was so rude you kind of had to behave with an attitude to get through their thick little heads. Waxing: The wax was so thorough, painless, expertly-done, and smooth, but she double dipped! She didn't do it all the time, I saw many used dipping sticks, she used a special hard wax in more sensitive areas... but nevertheless... I thought double-dipping was the kiss of death!!??!! Nails: The nail technician was a doll, great 5-free nail polish section, and the nail seating was soooo comfortable, but the room had too many bright lights for it to be fully relaxing... and there were some super annoying patrons that made The spa like experience not so relaxing... but I felt like the mani pedi could have been slightly longer given the price. Service/Management: I probably mentioned several times during my wax and nails that it's freezing, even tho I saw space heaters and temperature controls around, no one did anything to address my issue - not cool. I am wondering if I was even richer with more attitude, this could have made a difference. If a customer asks for something or feels uncomfortable, you address it without being explaining it away, always!! Especially in a supposed relaxing spa environment. The front staff was nice when I had to pay at the end, and really only responded to snobbery and not kindness. This was reflected in the staff, who is used to that kind of management and clientele, but melted and became human when they realized I was a human too. Pricing: Very good prices on waxing, if you don't mind double dipping. Has everything under one roof and very professional staff.... but the double dipping??!! Post-experience thoughts: I spent quite some time thinking about whether that vat of wax was just for me, or if it's really No Big Deal to double dip on benign areas like a forearm or shoulder area... I don't know. Bc what if someone has some kind of topical skin issue that can be spread...??? I am so confused about this because loved my wax technician, but I was afraid to discuss this with the cold, impersonal front desk staff who I knew had no power to address this question and would just give me the PR runaround that would annoy me further. I won't be surprised if management writes back to me with more PR stuff. tl;dr: Haven is a very clean and beautiful facility for a mid-price spa, skilled technicians... good humans at work. But the spa lacks emotionally intelligent management and this aspect clearly trickles to the service level.. and the double dipping is a big question mark for me.

Yelp
So I finally had the free one-hour session promised by management and it definitely made me rethink the negative experience I had the first time. (I think it was two months ago) My Swedish massage with India was relaxing and invigorating. I would definitely recommend her.

Yelp
Came here for a quick manicure for a wedding I'm attending. I have cuticles that need special attention and Net did a GREAT JOB. In fact, she fixed some damage that was done by my local nail salon. I'll definitely be coming back here...

Yelp
I have been a client since Haven opened and truly it's my home away from home. I truly would have not been able to survive this pandemic without their talented ministrations and care- Haven was a tonic for my psyche as well as my favorite form of self care and pampering. The fun starts as soon as you walk in the door ... It is so safe and I appreciate their attention to detail and their precautions to protect their clients as well as their staff. I go weekly for manicures everyone there is wonderful Marshi Marlene and Famida and now that I'm vaccinated I had an amazing and well needed facial with Rena! Love me a great bikini wax w Martha and Mariola!! I can not recommend Haven more it's my little slice of Heaven in Noho

Yelp
The spa I normally go to had closed so I looked for a new one. I researched and Haven showed up on a few sites with good reviews so I gave it a shot. I was not disappointed. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming. The massage was exactly what I was looking for. Simone was professional and attentive to my needs. She inquired if I had anything I wanted to work on in particular and checked in on me to see how I was doing during the massage. I left totally satisfied and will be back. My only regret was that the massage came to and end. I can never get enough of a good thing

Yelp
I had been to haven for a facial but never for a massage before. Well let me start off by saying this massage experience left me injured and have had to spend over $400 on chiropractic care. I wish i could leave less than one star I got "the bitch massage" which is supposed to relieve tension. My masseuse was SO rough and everything she was doing was so painful but she kept telling me that we needed to get the tension out of my neck and back. I was in pain the entire time and I knew something was wrong. On top of this she also shamed me for not getting enough massages or stretching in my daily life. She talked about herself the entire time and how she was a dancer and did pilates. I just wanted to get a relaxing massage for god sakes. Anyways, that night i woke up and couldn't move my neck, it had completely gone out. I went to emergency chiropractor first thing the next morning. It's been over a week and I am still dealing with muscle spasms and neck pain. I have not been able to do any exercise involving my arms or upper body since then. I had to cancel a workout class i had scheduled the following morning which was another $30. DO NOT GO HERE EVER. I AM TELLING EVERYONE I KNOW TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. oh and haven if you are reading this, your masseuse, you know who she is is moving to north carolina and is planning to quit just a heads up. FIRE HER

Yelp
This new location is absolutely breathtaking! They revamped the spa and made it open, bright and modern. The service is just as good as before (perhaps even better) - you won't want to go anywhere else for your pampering needs! Manicures to die for and perfect customized waxes in about 10 minutes - perfect for a lunchtime run. I love you, Haven!!!

Yelp
Massage was not the best. Constant talking and adjusting of my body, when I just wanted quiet and a massage. My gel manicure lasted 3 days before it started chipping. Within 1 week manicure looked terrible and had peeled off. I do not recommend.

Yelp
This was a really nice place...beautifully done interior, great service....I came for a manicure, which was $17. For $17 I expect a very high quality job and that it was not. My manicurist was lovely, but when I asked her to fix one of my nails she did a really half assed job and seemed annoyed at the hassle of fixing my nail. Sorry, but at this price my nails should look flawless. They did offer to fix it at the front, but I had already spent over an hour and had to run. The issue was really with the manicurists lack of attention to detail, but offering a refund or credit would have also been the right thing to do. Wish I had read these reviews before coming in today.
