Havens Harborside Fish & ChopHouse

We decided to try this new restaurant to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We have been hesitant to go out and try new places lately as it seems so many places have becomes so expensive and the quality of service and food has plummeted. What an epic surprise to be overwhelmed rather than underwhelmed! First the location is charming on the water. Despite being typically windy in the evening at the harbor it was a beautiful oasis inside this delightfully appointed restaurant. Clean and simple elegant yet comfortable atmosphere greeted us along with a very warm welcome from the hostess whom seated us promptly to a beautiful table with a lovely view. We were visited right away by observer Austin whom was exceptional. Just the right balance of attentiveness and giving us our space. Always available without being intrusive. He explained the menu well and stopped by frequently to check on us and to tip off our wine. My husband felt like it was 6 star food and service! What a joy to find a new favorite place to dine on Maui! Kudos Havens! We can’t wait to go back! We look forward to spending many happy hours here! We have heard the lunch is fantastic and very reasonable. And of course we won’t hesitate return for another special dinner celebration!!

Great food. Beautiful location with awesome ocean views and harbor views. We got a fried Opakapaka that was on special and it was killer. The menu had a ton of great options and the drinks were good. We got sat quickly, our server Nate did a wonderful job. He was knowledgeable and helpful with our decisions. We will be back soon. Aloha

Amazing new spot for dining! Been twice already once for dinner and once for lunch! So so tasty. We ate clams, ahi poke, blackened fish, grilled shrimp, salad with all local ingredients, everything fresh fresh fresh! Can’t wait to go back!

We came here for dinner. Food is good but little overprice. The portions is big. We ordered a ribeye, a new york steak and a chicken portion for 4 person with some appetizers and it’s more than enough. I wish their portions are smaller, so it’s more affordable to dine here.

We had an incredible dining experience at Havens Harborside Fish & Chophouse! The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were spot on, and the service was top-notch. This new gem on Maui is brought to us by Tavis, Zach, and Norm, who have years of experience in the local restaurant scene. The space is light, airy, and beautifully designed after a complete renovation—it really makes the atmosphere pop! The location at Maalaea Harborside offers breathtaking views of Molokini, Kaho‘olawe, and South Maui from the outdoor seating and bar. I’m thrilled to have such a contemporary and delightful dining spot on Maui. Huge thank you to Tavis, Zach, and Norm for bringing this to the island!

Everything about this meal was absolutely phenomenal. It did not disappoint. We have long loved the food truck in Kahului across from the Costco. This level of food is next level. The kimchi crab Rangoon are ridiculously delicious and should not be missed. And save the dip to put your fries in. You’ll thank me later. We did the boujee, bourbon and beer flight. The Elijah Woods bourbon is a specific barrel made just for them. It all goes together deliciously. Definitely check this restaurant out and the view is beautiful.

This restaurant was one of my favorite meals I had during my last trip to Maui. I had the ahi and it was stunning! The kanpachi is also a standout dish and was cooked to perfection and served in a tangy sauce. Also loved the crispy brussels sprouts and other sides we ordered. The location and restaurant decor are charming and the service is very good. I want to additionally point out how well my food allergy was handled by our server Scott. It’s hard to eat out sometimes with life threatening allergies and I felt very well taken care of here. Not only was Scott an excellent server in other ways, he was extremely knowledgeable about the allergens present in the menu and took my allergy seriously when suggesting dish modifications or flagging them to avoid cross contamination.

Was lucky enough to experience the soft opening, and it absolutely did not disappoint. 10/10! The kimchi crab ragoons and Mahi burger were phenomenal! Liz was our server and she also added to the overall amazing experience :) Looking forward to going back very soon!
