Good food, bad ethics! If you order a large plate ($20), just know that there's a huge rice bed underneath the meat, they make it seem like you're getting this large portion of meat, when in reality it's just a normal portion over a nice fat bed of rice underneath it, and then they call it "LARGE". Too top that, they serve you a big fat rice ball as one of your sides, it's like who needs this much rice? What a joke! That's a shady way to run a business, freakin ridiculous!
If I were to re-order from here again, I would definitely substitute my rice ball out for some more veggies or macaroni salad (the macaroni salad was so bomb!). I got three different types of chicken, and they practically all tasted the same, literally! The only way I could differentiate any of them was the fact that one of them had green onions, and one of them was a little bit spicy. Aside from that I don't know if I really would've been able to tell that much of a difference, and that's unfortunate considering that most of their menu is chicken.
Everything was super filling, and it wasn't to bad, aside the fact that half the container was rice. I definitely don't think this is the most healthy place to eat, considering all you're getting is protein on top of carbs, with a side of carbs and another side of carbs covered in mayonnaise. If you are trying to be healthy they are gonna charge you extra for vegetables or fruit.
Hawaiian Bros, you have potential, but you've got some work to do!
