I don't do reviews often but for this place, I had to because the food was that good for an affordable price. I came with my girls and the food was delicious. I ordered the Honolulu chicken classic plate with the molo chicken and it was so good. I also ordered the pineapple and strawberry mixed soft serve, it was big and it was smooth. The food tasted so good and the wait time was not long. The lady at the front was so sweet and kind with us. If you are looking for some good Asian food with flavor, you guys need to come try this place.

Google
I had a great experience here for my first visit! I had a buy one get one free coupon for the lunch platters, and neither disappointed, they were delicious. I ordered the Huli Huli Chicken, the Honolulu Chicken, Spam Musubi, the Dole Whip frozen dessert and a strawberry drink. Everything was fresh, delicious, super affordable, and service was fast and friendly. I also love that the Dole Whip is dairy free, it was such a treat! I’ll definitely be back!

My family came to Dallas for a conference and we wanted to try something different! Hawaiin Bros was a great place! Our server was so pleasant, the food was delicious, and it was clean!!!! I liked that u can mix and match to your liking! I got a mixed plate with the garlic Honolulu chicken with the Molokai that reminded me of my favorite Korean spicy chicken dish! The Mac salad was perfectly seasoned and non dairy soft serve was a perfect desert! Wish they had this in Atlanta!

Google
This was such a great find!! I have not heard of it. We were looking for something OPEN late nearish to the Hotel. EVERYTHING WAS AMAzING! I'm full satisfied & want to come back tomorrow. I was born in Hawaii..But, left when I was a baby. I saw double starch & was like?? Mac & rice??Eww...But, OMG the mac is a PERFECT COMPLIMENT to the meal & flavor profiles! 😋Delicious Kudos to Ketha for excellent personalized attention & to the staff that helped us as it was our first time experiencing this outstanding place!

Google
I ordered a mixed plate (Molokai and Honolulu chicken). The customer service was amazing, the restaurant was clean, and the food was great. The dole whip was delicious (my dole whip was a mix of pineapple and strawberry). It’s not too sweet, but sweet enough and light.

Mark Contreras

Google
My boyfriend and I eat here all the time. When I don’t feel like cooking Hawaiian Bros is the forest thing we think of. Not just any Hawaiian bros the one on Greenville Ave. Ketha is a wonderful manager on top of things and gives exceptional service. 5 stars across the board!

Keary Martin

Google
Delicious in every way!!! Ketha was amazing as well as the other staff! Some of the best food I have ate in this area! And the dole whip is amazing!

Google
Wow. This food was just amazing. Yulia was so nice and helped us find the food that we wanted. I got the medium plate with half Molokai Chicken and half Kilauea Chicken. Both were top tier cooked. The meat was delicious and the spice level was amazing. Another nice lady gladely took our trash for us. Overall amazing food and service.

Yelp
Host was wonderful with the explanations and food was great quality with excellent portions. The store was clean without any messes. The taste was phenomenal. I will be back.

Yelp
Update Jan 2024 Molokai chicken, classic. I asked her could i get any two sides I wanted. She said yes. I got rice and veggies. I was up charged $1. Why wasn't that explained ? I asked. Anyway, I wouldn't order this flavor again. It wasn't what I needed it to be. Rice comes under the chicken-- I shouldn't gotten pineapple on the side. Veggies had a lot of dry broccoli. I needed some Greens, though. Receipt didn't have the store number, so I couldn't call. Left feedback via survey instead.

Ayœ N.

Yelp
The food was tasty and well-seasoned, the service wasn't bad, ambiance was as advertised.

Bailey P.

Yelp
I ordered via Ubereats and it was a bit confusing. I ordered a small huli huli chicken which comes with rice and macaroni salad but swapped the macaroni salad for veggies. The food was good! It was a smaller portion of their large plate which left just enough room to try the spam musubi. It was a little crushed because they put it in the bottom of the bag but still tasted great.

Lori G.

Yelp
What a tasty little drive thru place! I really enjoy it. My oldest thinks it's weird and my youngest thinks cold mac and cheese ain't it. BUT I go by myself and enjoy a quick bite. It is made ahead of time so keep that in mind.

Kimberly S.

Yelp
I would offer no stars if was an option. Just gross. The order was wrong, they didn't sent sauce and that's crucial. The photo speaks for itself. I used to love this place. It's tanked. AVOID

Henry S.

Yelp
Staff was helpful and inviting. This was my 2nd trip while visiting Dallas. The food was absolutely delicious so I had to try it again

Dorian W.

Yelp
I tried Hawaiian Bros for the first time about a week ago, and I hate it took me so long to check it out. I ordered the classic plate with 1/2 Hawaiian chicken, and 1/2 Huli Huli chicken with the Mac salad and rice for the sides. I also ordered a side of pineapple and the dole whip. The Mac salad wasn't my favorite, but the chicken more than made up for it. Both chicken options tasted great and the portion size was enough to split into two meals. The rice was also fresh and paired well with the chicken. And that Dole Whip??? Magical!! It was tasty yet refreshing. Overall I would definitely check them out again!

Drew N.

Yelp
It's good to see customer service still matters... after my review I decided to give it another try... and it was EXACTLY like how it use to be. Chicken was juicy and good flavor, rice was perfect, and Mac salad was the OG Mac salad again!!! Thanks for making this right and listening to customers, I will be back!

Erik W.

Yelp
This is my go-to late night guity free healthy dinner option. Servers are also friendly, polite, and sometime they even smile. Food has always been great. But as someoone who just moved to TX and who had ever been to this restuarant before, I have to say I was hella confused when I paid my first visit here. When I walked in I see bunch of UberEats people waiting, employees are nowhere to be found, I scanned around for any club of how to place an order, then the UberEats guys told me if I didn't order online then go to the kiosk to place an order, so I did, it was easy to use, then it printed out a receipt and says I need to go find a cashier to pay....... So I was hangry, and walked to the window and yelled, hello! Where do I pay for this! And someone walked out from the kitchen and helped me. Will be back again, again and again.

Frank H.

Yelp
Food was absolutely delicious with a very generous portions for its price, I will definitely be returning

Charlene F.

Yelp
Ordered dinner for the family through UE. This was our first time trying Hawaiian Bros. I ordered the large Honolulu chicken, classic Huli Huli chicken, and classic Luau pig for all of us to share. They were all very good with my absolute favorite being the Honolulu chicken. The pork was just a bit dry but the flavor made up for that. Added the pineapple bbq sauce and it complimented the pork very well. I am a fan of macaroni salad and theirs had a decent flavor, but there was something "weird" about it. I couldn't quite place my finger on what it was exactly. I could only eat a few bites. I'll definitely order from them again, just without the macaroni salad. Try the Honolulu chicken!!!

J. A.

Yelp
Always amazing service, great ambiance, they always fast and the food is on point too!

Henri P.

Yelp
The food was AMAZING!!! We got a two meant and a one meat plate and would highly remember it!! We did door dash and it came within 30 minutes of ordering it!!!

Keven W.

Yelp
First time here and my wife and I really wanted Hawaiian food so I suggested this place as we seen a chain of these across the DFW area. I would rate the food as a 3 and service a 5 star which gives me a total of 4 stars. We ended up getting the Hulu, Honolulu and Molokai chicken and the only difference is the sauce and we got a large order and a dollar extra if you up out of the rice and get more mac salad. If you sign up for their rewards program you get a free Dole Whip which is definitely worth it. The chicken itself, I could not really tell the difference in the taste as it all tasted the same afterwards. It ended up being very salty after eating it. I ended up finishing my meal because I was really hungry that day. The drinks has a good selection. You should definitely get the dole whip as that was the best part and reminded me of getting it at Disneyland. We got the mixed one which was strawberry and pineapple. One suggestion they can have is fried chicken since Texas loves them and I know their are some Hawaiian places back in California that did have it and I was hoping they would have something like that, but I guess that is a corporate decision. Service was outstanding as there were a lot of people were looking for feedback on the place and food. I think we got asked around 3 times and to fill out a survey which I did, but they really want to improve.

Ray F.

Yelp
Well, 9 trips in a row over 6 weeks including today, problems with the meals. Most of it is missing items ordered and paid for. Everything from sides to sauces. The Luau Pig without the BBQ sauce is nearly flavorless. Today's meal, the macaroni was rather crunchy and the steamed vegetables. The worst is from 2 weeks ago when we both got sick within moments after eating different meals. But could have been the mac, rice or pineapple. Lastly, they atill haven't figured out how to package the frozen dessert for to go orders. Feedback to management has been made a few times. I think I'm done with this one for a while.

Mitchell O.

Yelp
Today I ordered the Classic Mixed plate with Honolulu chicken and Huli Huli chicken side of rice and Mac, with a spam musubi. The Mac was well seasoned and the meat was tender and proportioned well with the rice. My only complaint would be with the Musubi the spam was a little dry and the packaging was a bit strange. I ordered it online and it came within time. So I would say the service was up to standards.

Elisa M.

Yelp
I had the pleasure of visiting during their soft opening or training in which the food was delicious and I couldn't wait for them to open so I could actually pick what I wanted from the menu. So today as I was headed to my appointment I decided to stop by and get lunch. I pulled in through the drive thru and was stopped by an employee who greeted me (think of the chicken place that does this as well). I was greeted and asked what I wanted and I politely said I'd like to see the menu which it took a second to dawn on him that I wasn't able to see the menu & he hadn't given me a menu. I asked a few questions however his response wasn't helpful. I ended up getting the Honolulu chicken without green onions which is something I had from this location before. I also ordered a dole whip and this is what had me the happiest because 1. You don't find these often 2. They weren't being served during the soft opening I was told to pull around after ordering but almost drove right past my whip as I was ready to go to the second window as I had already paid but I just so happened to look up as I was passing the first window and saw the lady with my dole whip. She handed me my dole whip and a water I didn't order but later appreciated. Got to the second window and the bag was being held out the window for me to get. I was informed everything is in the bag and a "mahalo". So I get my first lick of the dole whip and this is NOT a dole whip. This is a pineapple soft serve ice cream. Is it bad? No, if you like soft serve ice cream but when you thought you was getting a whip, this isn't that. This is much sweeter than a whip and it tasted like it had bits of pineapple in it. The meal was extremely salty. Most of the salt was from the sauce that was poured over the rice (hence why that water was appreciated). The Mac salad tasted like it had too much black pepper in it and it didn't have much flavor. I had such high hopes for this place and sadly I either came on a bad day or this place has already gone down from when they were in a training stage. And although I'm not Hawaiian, I've had my fair share of Hawaiian food that I have an idea of what it's suppose to taste like and this wasn't it.

Yasmin E.

Yelp
Great when you're hungry and want something simple but good everything. The whipped dole is awesome I get the pineapple or the mixed. Also on the food, get the regular size so you can have some left for the next day! N my picky dog loves the chicken !

Jonny H.

Yelp
Ordered 2 mixed plates off of Uber eats because they were running a deal. Unfortunately I feel like they didn't give me much portions of the meat because of the deal. Very little meat and even put a bed of rice below the meat to make it look like more. The food was good, just wish they would have put the correct portions in, maybe they were just running out. Unfortunately can't ask for a change or anything because I'm not at the store.

Courtney K.

Yelp
amazing food always kind staff and the dole whips are to die for. Whenever we are nearby, we make sure to stop.

Jeremy G.

Yelp
Awful! Why did I go here?? Really wonder. Like sorry what? The portions are so small...

Cat N.

Yelp
The Kilauea Chicken and rice was banging. The macaroni salad was not. It was salty and made for people who don't like flavor. Salt is not a flavor. The chicken was flavorful, spicy (actually spicy not that weak stuff spicy). I could eat this everyday (without macaroni salad). I ordered through Uber eats and they need to add dole whip on there

rose z.

Yelp
First time eating here went thru drive thru. The lady taking the orders was very helpful. So I order the Honolulu plate chicken with. seasoning and teriyaki sauce on the side I ask for the vegetables and it came with cold macaroni salad and I asked for no rice. Well I got rice under my meat serving. I tried the meat first very dry and not much flavor so I added the teriyaki sauce it helped a little. The veggies were over cooked or on a warmer to long and the macaroni salad was just pasta mixed with mayo. I add pepper to see if it would help, no it didn't. Was very disappointed in the food. Don't know if they premade the food and then reheated it but that's what it tasted like. They do have a friendly staff are you just wished the food was better.

Steve C.

Yelp
Horrible service. I was not given a receipt, was asked to pull up and wait 3 times even though there was absolutely NO ONE behind me. Finally had to ask for my money back as the employees cared more about getting me through the drive through than serving the food I paid for. I will not be going back again

Raul M.

Yelp
Tbh I wanted panda, but when I pulled up they had no drive thru and I was too lazy to get out. I remembered there was a Hawaiian bros down the street and decided to stop by for the first time. I order the KILAUEA CHICKEN and it was pretty good. The cold macaroni taste like it's been pickled? Maybe, I'm not sure, but it does pair good with the meat; since it's a little salty it balances it out. The flavor was a little too salty for me as well as the teriyaki packet they give you. Imagine teriyaki mixed with extra soy sauce. You get a side of rice and the meat comes on a bed of rice? It was a good sized portion tho. I'll stop by and give something else on the menu a try. $15 for the meal with a canned soda. Girl at the drive thru wanted a $1 dollar tip for doing her job??? Nah

Bobby C.

Yelp
Their mac salad is horrible and this location does not have their AC working. Definitely would not return.

Rob F.

Yelp
Really good food for the price, we were on a road trip and needed a bit to eat before heading home. I got their BBQ pork plate, the portions were decent but i wish there could be just a little more mac salad. Our Server was very friendly too.

Alyssa I.

Yelp
Needed a quick and affordable meal from door dash and this is AMAZING! I had never had Hawaiian food before so I tried this and wow it was a good choice. I got half Honolulu and half Molokai chicken! The pieces of chicken were small cut and covered with the perfect amount of sauce! The rice was fresh and was good to mix with the meat. I will for sure be back!

Eric C.

Yelp
Everything I've had here is good. Lua pork, huli huli, but strawberry soft serve is awesome!! Support this spot so we don't lose it!

Nigel D.

Yelp
First time here and was really impressed. Wow, their chicken is so tasty. In fact it was so tasty I ate it all before I remembered to take a picture. The Mac Salad doesn't have a lot of flavor but that in itself gives it its appeal. It is so simple, it is simply good! The cream soda was delicious it was some brand I hadn't heard of before. The Dole Whip is also great! So refreshing!

Jason S.

Yelp
THIS PLACE ISN'T WORTH YOUR TIME. I ordered from Uber Eats and when the food arrived it actually looked good but when I tried the Luau Pig that is when it started downhill. There is absolutely no taste to the meat. The Mac salad was awful with no taste. The only thing I tasted in the Mac salad was the mayo LOTS OF IT. And the masubi looked like it had been wrapped up for three weeks. And who puts one little strip of seaweed wrap on it. Every one that I have eat had seaweed wrapped all the way around. Don't waste your time and money with this place. I won't ever order anything from there again.

Fern D.

Yelp
Hit the spot! Self order & drive thru available. Food tastes fresh, came out 5 minutes after ordering and was flavorful. Upon walking in, an employee asked if I needed help with the self ordering kiosk and reassured me she was there if I had any questions. The lady handing me my food was very polite and asked if there was anything else I needed. This is my second Hawaiian bbq spot I've tried in DFW and so far is the best. I ended up trying the Honolulu chicken with macaroni salad and white rice. Staff definitely deserves recognition along with the food.

AJ D.

Yelp
Ok first off, you must keep in mind that this restaurant is in Dallas Texas. So go in expecting the word "Hawaiian" is loosely used to describe their food. They poured sugar on their soy sauce and called it teriyaki. It does not taste like what teriyaki should taste like. The mac is not what you remember from your trip to Hawaii. It's just macaroni doused with cheap mayonnaise with a light dusting of pepper. The company's pictures are very deceptive. They make the plate look like you get a lot of protein with a side of rice and mac. In actuality your protein sits on a bed of rice and then you get more rice on the side and a side of mac. It's so deceptive. I only ordered food here because I was hungry and figured they give you a lot of food for your money. False. It's just their deceptive practice. If you love lots of carbs and little protein then this is the place for you. If you don't know what authentic Hawaiian food taste like then this is for you. What a waste of money.

Charles C.

Yelp
Very good food and awesome prices. You can basically sample everything in one order.

Paul M.

Yelp
Hawaiian Bros. is a fantastic establishment. The food is absolutely out of this world, with generous quantities at a reasonable price. I have not found anything like it in Dallas. We have just started ordering there and are satisfied with the food and customer service. Let's be honest: EVERYONE has had a problem sometimes, and whenever I had an issue with Mac, BK, or others, nothing resulted in rectifying the situation. Hawaiian Bros went out of their way to satisfy my issue. That is the mark of an excellent company. I would give them 5+. I am thrilled with the customer service, and they seem to have the Sam's Club guarantee within the food industry, "Make the customer happy" and provide the best meal at a reasonable price. Go there, you will be satisfied.

Sam F.

Yelp
This is a sorry representation of Hawaiian food. This is not even close to what Hawaiian food taste like and it terrible that people that have never had Hawaiian food before believe this is what it taste like. As someone from Hawaii this is 0% likeness to Hawaiian food and their Mac salad is the worst I've ever tried, ever.

Gladys K.

Yelp
Open on Easter. So I guess that's a great start. Pros: - there's Dole Whip. - there's Spam Musubi. Cons: - all the food is sickingly sweet except the dole whip surprisingly lol. - dole whip taste is off. Not Pineappley enough. Almost tastes watered down. - spam musubi had crunchy over cooked rice. Not sure if that was a decision made by owners, or the cooks. - Mac salad is not Hawaiian Mac salad. Way too much Mayo, was too sweet and creamy. Absolutely terrible. Very disappointed by the meal. It wasn't cheap, and definitely regretful. It's a shame they try to pass this off as Hawaiian food.

Tracey D.

Yelp
My son recommended this spot and I can say I was most definitely impressed. The food was great. I pass by it everyday and I am glad that I finally got a chance to taste it. I will be returning. 10 out of 10.

Chris C.

Yelp
Really nice experience. Had the 1/2 Molokai 1/2 Honolulu plate substituting veggies in lieu of the extra rice. Really tasty, next time I may pass on the macaroni salad instead of the rice, it was just a little too mayo'd for me... very helpful and friendly staff, and also really clean and comfortable inside while I ate!... will visit again next time I'm back in town!

Amal D.

Yelp
I was so hyped that Hawaiian Bros was opening just down the street on Greenville and, as a fan of Hawaiian food, this was not good. I don't give low ratings often and I tried this place 3 times before I decided on my rating. And here's why: 1) why don't we have the option to switch out the rice for more mac? It's a lot of rice, bruh. The mac was good so give a girl more mac! 2) the saltiness. Eating these meals was like eating 1 day old chicken under a heat lamp dowsed in super salty sauces. No wonder they give more rice than protein..to suck up all that salty sauce. 3) I was so excited for this place. My fave Hawaiian spot is Aloha Hawaiian BBQ on Lemmon Ave but ordering during lunchtime on a weekday takes quite long since it's 3.5 miles away from me and, just so you out-of-state peeps understand, TRUUUUUST me, I know that's a short distance but this is Dallas and traffic is 24/7; ordering delivery or picking up food or doing ANYTHING on Lemmon Ave is like the Hunger Games. May the odds be ever in your favor...and you'll miss your 1:00 meeting every time, just saying. 4) they don't offer beef ribs...as a person who can't eat pork, this sucks. I'd like that option. I'm sure pork-eating people do too since ribs are not on the menu in general. 5) there's authentic Hawaiian bbq food and then there are chains. It's like going to a grocery store and picking up pre-packaged sushi instead of going to an authentic sushi spot. That's my analogy. But fast food is fast food, I guess. 4) This place doesn't offer protein-only plates like Aloha.

Marcus S.

Yelp
If you're looking for chicken in a different way. This is the place. The macaroni salad is great and I love the can drinks they offer taste so great

Diane W.

Yelp
My coworkers and I decided to venture out of our usual lunch ordering spots and tried this place. Let's just say...we have made this place a regular lunch order now. This place is a fast food Hawaiian concept. They have chicken and pork and you can choose your flavor for the chicken that ranges from teriyaki to sweet and spicy. I went with the sweet and spicy sauce and it was so great! Usually I'm indIfferent Hawaiian food, but this one was so flavorful and even the macaroni salad was delicious. I have been recommending this place to all of my friends and everyone that has tried it has not been disappointed. The only downside that we had with the place was that Grubhub messed up on our order and we had to reorder from the vendor again. They said they would remake the food since it was cold, but when we got it it was cold. We definitely knew it wasn't remade because someone that cancelled their order from the group order still got her food.

Madelyn D.

Yelp
I thoroughly enjoyed my food here, and the staff was super nice! I got a salad, and though I did not enjoy the dressing, the salad had so much good stuff on it, that it did not need dressing. Some of the chicken platters are really good as well!

Justin M.

Yelp
I honestly did not enjoy my experience. First off I walked in to a group of about 10 people hovering over the entrance like a football cheer section. Very intimidating. Also, you cannot just simply order for yourself or go to a regular cashier stand. They have this kiosk that the cashier won't even let you see and during the checkout process she kept moving so fast I couldn't keep up to tell her to add this and that or take stuff off. Finally my order was completed but she didn't know how to use my rewards I had signed up for. The process really took way too lunch without having a front facing menu for a customers to look at on their own instead of trying to look over someone's shoulder to see it. They did have paper menus but I don't want a reused menu. Also a major turn off over 90% of the staff were in masked including the food prep staff who make the food and put the orders in the window. And the person who fixes the bags to go didn't wear gloves. Also the drive through is pointless. They have outside order takers like Chick-fil-A but personally as a new place I'd prefer to see and order from the big menu that's available just around the corner. Not many cars were in line so I don't know why they had to stop everyone in line. The value of the food was okay... you don't get much meat and I paid extra for pineapple and veggies and got 1 wedge of fruit and 2 stalks of broccoli. The food tasted fine... nothing to write home about and I've had better from other Hawaiian restaurants in the area.

Martin K.

Yelp
Good Hawaiian plate lunches with macaroni salad, rice and a warm dish . I had the Molokai chicken, sweet and slightly spicy, tender chicken. The food was tasty and the portions good for the price. They are still fairly newly open and tried the outside order taking (like Chick-fil-a). That didnt work great since people didn't know the menu and took a while to order, holding up the people behind. Not a big deal though, I'm sure they'll figure or out.

Lauren S.

Yelp
I cannot say enough good things about my experience at Greenville Hawaiian Bro-- Aside from the fact that EVERY time I've passed the building for the past few weeks I'm more and more pumped about it. There's a great food truck in JAX (Hapi Li) and I haven't had Hawaiian since my move back to Dallas. I stopped at another fast food place across the street for a soda and--I spy a LINEEEEEE at Hawaiian Bro and a young lady placing a sign advertising "Free Food". Y'all, I swear they just made my entire day! Awesome energetic team who was happy to answer any questions. I ordered through Landon today and he seems just as enthusiastic as I was. Additionally, he really helped me make decisions easily and I never felt rushed. The food was remarkable! I had a mixed plate (Luau + Kilauea) and a Huli Huli. I'm no expert but it was cooked to perfection for me. Hawaiian Bro is everything we needed in the neighborhood. I'm so thankful for great food and friendliness from within!

Todd S.

Yelp
Excellent Hawaiian food experience!! They make the rice taste just like it did on Oahu- freaking delicious!! We had the Honolulu Chicken and everything was really yummy! Would definitely recommend if you want something to eat or a whole meal. Drive thru was very courteous and friendly and super helpful explaining the menu. All the staff seem to have good customer service training and we got through very fast. Will definitely be coming back for the dole whip!!

Paley W.

Yelp
I wasn't too sure what to expect but the food didn't taste as good as I expected. I got the Honolulu chicken and it was a bit too saucy which didn't mix well with the already-heavy macaroni. The didn't give much rice, even I though I got a small meal, I didn't feel there was enough rice for me to overcome the sauce on the chicken. Maybe this is what Hawaiian food really taste like so I guess Hawaii won't be like heaven whenever I do go. Everything else such as the drive through and service was aiigh.
