Garvin was a pleasure from the moment we walked in. He greeted us and was smiling the whole time. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was calming. The restaurant was clean! We love this place so much!! And I was surprised to receive $10 off since it’s my birthday!!!

First time here! Definitely not my last! The food was delicious and nice size portions! Try the Hawaiian Sun

Came for a lunch with coworkers! We love the atmosphere! The food was so yummy and tasted fresh. I love their soda and tea options! Carly was so sweet and helpful! Cant wait to come back!!!

Had a good experience here. They have kiosks up front where you just order the food yourself. It's quick and easy. You can also order with a cashier. My food came out pretty quick. Only issue was my Honolulu chicken came out only somewhat warm and not hot. Other than that, everything was great!

Google
Was looking forward to coming here. Order Huli Huli Chicken plate with pineapple instead of extra rice. There was hardly any rice under the 8-9 chunks of chicken. I feel like last time I was here the plate seemed more substantial, especially for the price (and looking at other people’s photos).

Darrion was super helpful and did a great job. We love the new kids meal option.

The customer service that Garvin gave us made me feel like it wasn’t fast food. As we were trying to decide what to order, he brought us samples, and later he came around to make sure we had all we needed. The food itself was nice. I liked the pork, but the chicken dishes reminded me of fast food Chinese. The soft serve was worth a try. It reminded me almost of sherbet.

Google
The best late night food (and drive through) experience of my life. Great staff - kind and patient (with a good sense of humor) and phenomenal food. Usually I skip the macaroni salad with Hawaiian meals but it was so good. The spam musubi is better than any I’ve had. Everything was so good! I’m seriously in disbelief, wish they had these spots all over the country.

Yelp
I love this place ! I keep coming back because the food is soooo good, the staff is so sweet every time. This location is by far the best!

Yelp
My fiance and I came here after taking a stroll through the Golden Triangle Mall which this building is in the same parking lot so it was very quick. I've never had Hawaiian food before so we were both curious what it'd be like plus we were starving after only having breakfast that day. We went through the drive through because we just wanted to pick up and head back to the hotel to enjoy our food with a movie. I ordered the Kilauea chicken "small" subbing the rice for veggies and the macaroni salad. My fiance ordered the Molokai chicken "classic" which came on a bed of rice and macaroni salad and he subbed the additional rice with veggies as well. We also got 2 Spam Musubi's and 1 strawberry dole whip. The food was quick and we were excited to try the food. I think the chicken I got wasn't really that spicy even though it has 3 flame indicators, it really should be only 1 flame mark because there's just a slight kick of heat but nothing overwhelming that needs 3 flame indicators. The chicken was very moist and flavorful though! The mac salad was missing some salt and slightly lack-luster as it didn't have much flavor. I would have liked it have some wasabi or something to add to it. The additional teriyaki sauce they provided was great for the veggie's I got. The dole whip was a great way to end the meal. The spam musubi to me was slightly too salty but to my fiance he said it wasn't enough salt so he said it was slightly too bland for him. I think the food overall was healthy and good but just missing some salt and spice on a few items. I'd want to try the honolulu chicken if I came back or the luau pig!

Yelp
I apologize, I kept meaning to update this sooner, but, better late than never! After our original visit we went back again, and then again, and again... it quickly became our Saturday-our-running-errands-go-to-lunch choice. We liked that we could sub out the extra rice or macaroni salad for veggies and make it a healthier fast food option. Consistently good food!

Seon B.

Yelp
I've had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic location three times now, and let me tell you, the food and service have been consistently amazing! I've tried both the Kilauea Chicken (grilled chicken with a delightful sweet and spicy kick) and the Molokai Chicken (sweet and spicy grilled chicken with just the right amount of heat). The Molokai packs a bit more spice for my taste buds! I always pair my chicken with rice and macaroni salad, and honestly, the combination is just so delicious. The chicken is grilled to perfection, bursting with a unique sweet and spicy flavor that keeps me coming back for more. The rice is always cooked just right and tastes fantastic, and the macaroni salad adds a yummy touch. Admittedly, it can feel like a carb overload with both sides, but I can't resist indulging anyway! I usually place my order through the app and pick it up myself, and I've been so pleased that my orders are always spot on. The lovely person who handed me my food was super friendly, and my meal was always ready in just 10 minutes--what a treat! If you haven't checked them out yet, do yourself a favor and dive in! You won't regret it!

Yelp
College season has screwed this place up! Online ordering is no longer accurate, food quality is all over the place, portion sizes vary widely, and it's just not worth the hassle anymore. It's sad to watch this place die as my favorite in the entirety of Denton. Complained about portion sizes and I did get rewards for a new meal but the above issues are now present. I won't be returning for quite a while and hope that things get fixed. Only place that has Dolewhip outside Disney and college cityness is killing it hardcore

Micha B.

Yelp
Hearty portions, great flavor, good service. Smaller menu focus on niche dishes. Food is fresh, meat is tender and all is presented well for fast food. Flavors definitely have an aloha flair. Kilauea chicken has good spice that doesn't overpower. Grilled pineapple is good side choice

Jeff S.

Yelp
Was really a whole lot better than I expected. It was only thing open late. Both chicken and pork were good but pork was better and the portions are very large

Tate V.

Yelp
Nice but small Dining Room, employee was friendly and helpful. We ordered as soon as we walked in. We ordered Honolulu Chicken which came with White Rice and Hawaiian Mac Salad. Flavor was good and flavorful. And Teriyaki Chicken/Molokai Chicken combo which came with White Rice and Hawaiian Mac Salad. Flavor was good and flavorful. The Mac Salad was kinda Bland but good. Overall it was a good experience. I will eat there again but in no hurry.

Deborah M.

Yelp
Nice lunch! We pulled up and parked in a nice lot with plenty of parking. Walk in and you can either let them take your order and pay or do a self serve. Nice little seating area was clean. Food was ready before we were done paying for the meal. The pork had good flavor and the Mac salad was cool and creamy. Not too much rice. Perfect for lunch.

HowMayIYelp U.

Yelp
It's a basic menu and they are consistent. It has tasted the same every time we've gone. It's reliably delicious, easy and fresh.

Taylor R.

Yelp
Came here with a team for a postgame meal and everyone loved it! Food came out quickly and it's a much better / healthier option for teams. I enjoyed the spicier meat and some vegetables as my side!

Cynthia M.

Yelp
It's just ok and definitely overpriced! That's it! .................... !!!!!!!!!......,,,,,,,, place is clean customer service good

Nguyễn Q.

Yelp
We ordered takeout so I can't comment on the service or ambience. The food was really good!! We had a classic combination of Honolulu chicken and Luau Pig. The chicken was very flavorful; it totally outweighs the pig. The pork tasted like pulled pork but less salty (which is good). The mac n cheese is good too!

Kim D.

Yelp
My friends and i ordered delivery, and we were not disappointed! The food was tasty and flavorful, and we appreciated the abundant extra sauce. I got a half and half of Milokai Chicken and Honolulu chicken. I really liked it, and was surprised by how good the macaroni salad was. The portions were large enough for me to have lunch the next day as well. This was a crowd-pleaser, I'm glad we tried it!

Henry J.

Yelp
Great service amazing customer service great food definitely recommend coming here and not to pricy for good amount of food not stingy at all

Matt K.

Yelp
Ordered food through Uber Eats and was charged for it and never received my food. Was refused a refund from Uber. I was robbed by both businesses.

Michaela N.

Yelp
This was a truly unique experience being from out of town!! I would love something like this to the open, especially as a drive-through and open late, in DC. The food wasn't amazing but it hit the spot. I actually thought one of the most delicious things was the Spam sushi. It's something I hadn't seen before and I'm happy I was brave enough to try it. The slushies are also great. And most importantly this staff was super courteous to explain everything through the drive-through on our 1st time. It was really cool to see them put together our order through the drive-through window. It looks like a well-oiled machine!

Tammy M.

Yelp
This is a very cute fast casual restaurant that was extremely tasty. You order at a kiosk which I liked because it gave me time to figure out the menu and there was a worker close by who helped with suggestions. When I mentioned that I like spicy over very sweet it was recommended that I try the Molokai. I got the classic mixed plate with Luau Pig & Molokai chicken and subbed out the Mac n cheese for veggies. The meat was so delicious and the recommendation for the Molokai was spot on! I'm really glad that for my first trip I tried a mixed plate but in the future I think I would pick one meat option and maybe go for the small. Rice was cooked perfectly!! Loved this cute little place. The price was definitely worth the serving size and I would say it's definitely a deal. Come out and support this business!

Steve K.

Yelp
The food was good, we enjoyed kalua pork and Honolulu chicken, and very much liked the mac&cheese. I must say I am torn over putting on a tip at checkout as the woman up front was underwhelming in "service" today (around 2:30, almost no other customers in evidence) - no greeting as we came in, bored and disinterested look, over the top of her phone, curt & perfunctory help in navigating the ordering screen, when the kitchen sent up our plates we never heard our name called or any indication we had to go pick up. Just a bummer overall, might never return to this location.

Santanu S.

Yelp
This time, I knew what I wanted and not wanted to eat. I got the Huli Huli Chicken with the sticky rice and macaroni salad combo. Unlike my experience at another location, none of the staff pushed the pork as if the dish was their favorite. Really, they like it better than the chicken? I did not bother getting the soft serve especially the pineapple. I like pineapple but not a scoop of it. The restaurant had forks, spoons and even chopsticks. I was surprised not to see any knives which would have helped with the larger chunks of the chicken. Fortunately, the pieces were tender enough not to be too troublesome. Before I had my first sip of my drink, I finished the macaroni salad. While some may enjoy the sticky rice by itself, it definitely tastes better eaten with the chicken. As for beverage, this time I got the Hawaiian Sun Lilikoi Passion which I enjoyed more than their guava drink.

Yelp
The aesthetic of this place is so cute!!! The efficiency of the online ordering or the kiosk ordering is awesome. I placed a large order online and it was ready on time with plenty of sauces, forks and napkins. The little sauce cups were great! The chicken was more tender than other similar plate lunches that I have had. The Honolulu chicken was my favorite! There is more Mac salad and rice than we needed but others might want that much. We ordered some veggies and they were good, not too overcooked or mushy and had a good variety. Only bummer was that the salad wasn't available when I ordered and we wanted to try that! I wish we had Hawaiian Bros back home but we'll get to enjoy it when we travel to the states that it is in! Thanks for the yummy meal!

Billie M.

Yelp
I'm hooked! My chicken was so flavorful and good. I got a small but it was plenty of food for me. I typically don't like macaroni salad but I was really to lick the container for this one. I went through the drive through and felt the line was a bit long but it was worth it.

Mike A.

Yelp
Ordered a couple combos. All the different chickens tasted the same. Like a really bad Chinese takeout. The Mac was undercooked and had a strange taste. Nothing like any other Hawaiian bbq I've been to. They didn't have chicken Katsu either. What kind of Hawaiian bbq doesn't have katsu??? Portions were really small concerning the meats. Much better Hawaiian bbq places out there that are not so "corporate." Don't much like having to punch my order in on their computer screens especially when there are cashiers standing right there waiting to take your $. Looked into the kitchen and it was enormous considering they only serve 3 kinds of chicken, some kind of pulled pork a vegetable mix, rice and undercooked macaroni salad. I'll totally pass on this one.

Manda C.

Yelp
I think people who go into this without any expectations or comparisons are going to get a lot more out of their experiences than if you try to fit this place into a cookie cutter mold. I was ridiculously excited when I heard a Hawaiian place was opening up this summer and I could consistently get my musubi fix without having to drive multiple towns away. In truth, I was expecting and looking forward to a place like L&L. So while I may be a little disappointed that they are not what I was hoping for, I completely respect a place for being true to what they are. So their menu does not have a lot of katsu and bbq options, it's pretty much their take on chicken teriyaki with different flavor profiles and spice levels with a couple of other items added on. I've ordered delivery from them 3 times and I completely understand that consistency can be difficult when a place is this new and I always keep that in mind. I also mention that so you know this review doesn't comment on the staff or the atmosphere at all, only the food and wait times. The first time I ordered I got the combo plate with Huli Huli chicken and Luau Pig, which comes with rice and macaroni salad, and added on a couple of musubi. Honestly I was disappointed in all the things I am familiar with and had expectations for, they didn't taste like what I'm used to. However, the thing I didn't have an expectation for, the Huli Huli chicken, was a very pleasant surprise and very good! A nice savory dish with the slightest hint of sweetness and the chicken was nicely cooked. The portion for the price was a great value! You can absolutely share the combo plate. I also found the food to be hot and fresh and it was ready very quickly. The Luau Pig was tender, but it was very bland. I have seen other reviews claiming it's the best thing on their menu, so I am going to assume I got this on an off shift or maybe an atypical batch. I will most likely try again after they've been open a few more months. I did NOT like the macaroni salad, their recipe includes some relish or something that gives you random unpleasant crunchy bits and it was chock full of mayo and pepper. It also has a soggy consistency. It may seem weird to you that I spend so much time on a description of a side item, but it's one of my favorite parts of Hawaiian comfort food and I've never had macaroni salad that even somewhat resembles this. The second time I just got a classic plate with the Huli Huli chicken and still felt this was a good portion for the price, the food was still hot and the chicken was still pretty good. The third time I went with a small and the food was very cold and the chicken was stringy. In looking at pictures of the classic and large being fairly close to each other in size, I had felt pretty confident in giving the small a try. The small is extremely, even surprisingly, small for the price. This doesn't add up compared to the price of the classic. The only reason to order a small is if you don't have anyone to share a classic with and won't be able to store leftovers. Honestly from pictures I've seen of the large, that price point difference doesn't add up for the portion either, so I would recommend your orders be for classic or mixed plates to get the most bang for your buck. The musubi has been made 3 different ways each of the 3 times I got it and the first time I got 2 and even those were made completely different from each other. One time the rice was mushy and the spam was bland, another the spam was 3 times as thick but the rice was crunchy, another time it had no offending characteristics but was just so-so. Basically the size and seasoning has varied every time and none of the times did I find it tasty. I'm not expecting you to rival my grandmother's musubi, I just want to know what to expect so I can decide whether or not I will order from here. Again, I'll give this another shot once they've been opened a little longer and worked out their kinks. In the meantime I'll just have to wait for one of the random times Po-K Loco has it or travel outside of Denton. At this point the only thing that has been consistent is that the macaroni salad is not for me. Now I've mentioned the consistency a few times and while that's important to me, I'm not docking a star for it. I mention it because it's useful to know what to expect. But they've only been open a couple of months, it's not realistic to expect it will always be the same- yet. Overall, I think this place is okay which is why I gave it an okay rating. The menu is small, I find there to be a weird disparity in sizes and I just didn't care for some of the stuff I had, while other things were good. I also look forward to getting some Dole Whip soon. I still think you can find something to fit your taste, it's just going to take an open mind and patience. They are okay for now, hopefully in a few months they will be great.

Danny B.

Yelp
Restaurant wasn't busy and the staff were helpful. Small - Kilauea Chicken. Caution- if you like spicy , order this. Portions are reasonable-glad I ordered a small instead a large. Chicken had good taste and overall balanced seasoning. Flavor reminded me of the islands. Mac salad was a bit salty for my taste. Didn't need to put sriracha and no need for teriyaki sauce. Next time I plan to order something less spicy and try a soft serve dessert

Dennis T.

Yelp
Having spent years on Maui, I can tell you that this is a very good alternative to taking an 8 hour flight to have a Hawaiian plate lunch. And, you would be more welcome at Hawaiian Bros than a tourist in Hawaii during the pandemic. There are some items that should be added to the menu, such as chicken katsu, loco moco and mahi mahi (or other fish). But, you can't expect everything at once. The menu shows the entrees having prices for 3 serving sizes. Never seen this before, but useful for varying appetites. Placing your order was similar to the way it's done in Hawaii, although not usually so close to the front door. Whitney helped us through the process, including getting a free Dole Whip for having their app on my phone. I ordered the pineapple whip and the luau pork (normally called kalua pork). The pineapple whip (from a soft serve machine) would only be better if it were eaten at the Dole plantation on Oahu. The luau pork was disappointing because of big lumps of fat on top. Derek was eager to fix the problem and said he would use it as a "teaching moment" for the staff. I hope it didn't include flogging. He explained that the meat should be separated and the fat worked into it, to add flavor. I think the juices from cooking would be sufficient to add back and boost the flavor, but okay. The meat tasted like it had come from an imu (Hawaiian pit bbq) but we all know that that wouldn't be realistic for the volume sold here. Anyway, it tasted just like the pork you would have at a traditional luau. Under the pork, there was extra rice which had lots of flavor from that au jus. Normally, in a plate lunch there would be shredded cabbage but this was a good alternative. The mac salad was good, if you like extra dressing on it. They should cut back a little. The flavor was not quite any that I've had with a plate lunch, but it was really good. My wife had the huli chicken and it was excellent. The teriyaki marinade and glaze were perfect. Looking forward to trying other items.

Yelp
This is the place! It was a tough day at the keyboard today so we decided to throw those cooking plans out the window and take the family out to Hawaiian Bros! This place is awesome. It is clean, pretty spacious and the people who work their are absolutely amazing. Now the food. The food is sooo good. I ate the pork, and one of the chickens (it was spicy sweet!). The rice is great. The Mac salad is soooo good (I brought extra home!). The portions are great for the prices. Check this place out!!

Yelp
I don't normally take the time to write reviews but I have to say I'm shocked that this has such good reviews....I'm really not even that picky but when I go out to eat, but I do expect the food to taste decent... The positives- the pineapple is incredible unfortunately one of my orders was missing it. The KILAUEA chicken is a teeny bit zippy and my favorite I tried. I'm not normally a big pork eater but the pig was good a little too salty. Since they included zero bbq sauces despite me requesting extra it could have been better with that but I'll never know...the rice is cooked perfectly. The cons- missing the extra mac salad, pineapple and sauces from my order. The macaroni salad has to be the blandest thing I've ever eaten. Their very own spice blend for the vegetables is salt...and so much salt nothing else on then palate. I saw pictures of other peoples vegetables that seemed much fresher than what I received. The other 2 chickens I sampled (Honolulu and Molokai) were just meh and forgettable. Overall I would likely never return. I also ordered thru uber eats and nothing is more disappointing than missing/incorrect items. Double check before you finish an order...it's really not that hard.

Molly T.

Yelp
It was good for what it is! I wish I could give 3.5 stars because it's definitely a healthier fast food option. I got the Kilahua spicy chicken, sides of veggies and a Spam musabi! Hot, fast and fresh. The veggies were steamed a lot but the broccoli still had a little crunch. The chicken was served on a bed is steamed rice and pretty good. I don't like heavily sauced or marinated things and I added red pepper flakes to make it more spicy. The spam musabi was good if you like spam.

Tony D.

Yelp
Their signature chicken was good, some were dry. Overall its pretty good if you wanted to change things up from mall bourbon chicken to me. Mac Salad was pretty sad, too ranchy I do not eat this enough to say much about mac salads but it didn't hit right. Rice was great soft and comfy! Their Spicy chicken could be spicier. Their shredded pork was good, reminded me of good ol BBQ. Overall a good meal, not exactly something I would crave since they do not sell beef, unless I wanted to go back to try their Dole Ice cream.

Sharon T.

Yelp
We were in Denton so decided to stop at Hawaiian Brothers, easy to find infront of Golden Triangle mall right by I-35. Small private parking lot. The 2 girls working the front counter were so so patient answering all my questions and helped me order. I got the hula hula chicken. I got it fast maybe 5 minutes the chicken was cut into cubes and seasoned just right was on a bed of white rice. The sides were a scoup of while rice and Mac salad. The Mac salad was creamy and good but not like the Mac salad served with plate lunches in Hawaii. Be sure to get some of their pineapple bbq sauce , it adds an extra kick to the white rice. Was a great experience.

Jackie S.

Yelp
Very tasty and fresh! Dislike--I ordered ahead and pulled in the drive thru for pick up but was advised I have to go inside for to go orders. No time saver here so just recommend ordering in the drive thru!

Eduardo F.

Yelp
The food was really good but the Mac is served cold, which was a bummer for me. Moreover, they tuck some rice under the meat so the plate doesn't come with as much meat as it seems. Service and ambiance are great though. I'll still come back.

Eric B.

Yelp
Gonna update my review. The longer I'm away from my home (which is Hawai'i) the more I like this place. Any kamaaina reading this: it's not perfect, it's no zippys, but for what we have it's pretty good and the only thing around the area that is more accurate is L&L Hawaiian BBQ over in Plano area. That's literally a restaurant based in Hawai'i, but it's far from Denton. Kalua pork is actually extremely accurate, just a bit too salty. Can't go wrong with Hawaiian Sun brand drinks straight from Hawai'i The PINEAPPLE (at least this week 4/8/22) is delicious. Do you guys get these pineapples shipped from Hawai'i? They need to hire me to fix their spam musubi recipe but otherwise I am now a fan

Jenae W.

Yelp
There fast in the drive through but slow inside make that make sense. The food is good though lol

Jerry D.

Yelp
The service was good. Walking in I was able to give my order. I ordered one Huli Huli and one Molokai. Both entrees tasted the same. Molokai had zero heat. Grilled? Nope! Spice difference? Nope! Looked the same? Yip! The chicken has a weird texture to it. It wasn't like chunks of "real" chicken. It was like a weird kind of processed chicken. It was very tender and had a weird flakey texture, with no flavor of chicken. The flakey description is disturbing. It flakes like the texture of imitation crab chunks. The chucks just fell apart the way imitation crab falls apart. The chunks were flavored like teriyaki from an Asian Buffet. If I had not ordered this from a place with Hawaiian in its name, I would have thought this came from an Asian buffet. This definitely is NOT Hawaiian island inspired food. Maybe island - inspired, but not Hawaiian as expected. I was very disappointed. With rice and macaroni salad as the two sides, be prepared to fill up on rice. In addition to the bed of rice the "chicken" is served on top of, a large side of rice is included. The macaroni was in a bland creamy white sauce. Sorry to leave such a poor review. This was my first visit to this place...most likely not another.

Yelp
A Refreshing Change of Pace for Fast Food Tired of the same old thing for fast food/quick casual, my wife and I decided to drop in here while shopping in the area. Glad we did. The menu is basically meat or vegies with a Hawaiian seasoning and style. Simple, not a lot of variety, but quite tasty. The medium size on the plate lunches is all anyone should need. Both my wife and I did the combos of two meats. She did Huli Huli Chicken and Honolulu Chicken. I did Luau Pig and Kilauea Chicken. The latter is labeled as very spicy and it did have some kick, but not bad. The other two chickens tasted about the same as each other, so would suggest not paring two chickens together. All three were served on rice and each plate comes with a rice ball and pasta salad. Since they come on the rice, I recommend substituting a fruit or vegetable for the rice ball. The pasta salad was very good. All in all, just a nice fast-food experience that is different than the usual tacos or burgers. We won't become regulars, but may drop in now and then. The drink offerings - teas and soft drinks were also very creative and a nice change from the cola wars.

Yelp
We've been going to Hawaiian Bros for some months now and it's gone downhill a bit. With any business, it's a shame if you can tell when the corporate trainers left town because the quality noticeably changes, and this is no exception. Most obvious example: Sometimes I skip the mac salad and pay the 50¢ upcharge to sub pineapple instead. One time, it was so full of eyes that by the time I removed them only tiny shreds of edible fruit were left. The next time I tried again and one of the 3 pieces was just a chunk of core. So I didn't try again for a couple of months, until last week. It was all fruit, which is to be expected since it was canned Del Monte rings. (I used to work in a pineapple cannery, I can still tell brands apart by taste.) That makes the upcharge a little hard to take since I can get a whole can for a buck at Kroger. The chicken and pork is still good, though sometimes a few pieces are tough or fatty. So they're no longer amazing but still worth the money.

Martin D.

Yelp
I gave Hawaiian Bros another chance. While the food is good, there are still some issues with ordering at this location. We ordered our meals in the drive through and when we got to the window the guy asked us " Ummm what was your order?" Whoever took our order did nothing with it apparently but she dod give me a total. We again gave him our order, and he gave me a different total. I assumed the first person didn't listen so I paid, but when I looked at my receipt, he had charged me twice for a drink. I asked him to refund it, he said "Ummm ok you should see a credit in a day or two." Then closed his window. I honked and asked for a receipt for the credit. He then called his manager over to issue the credit. Finally, we got our food and were on our way. I understand times are tough, and hiring is really tough. I promise Im a very patient person, but this location has some major training opportunities. The food is very good, we got the Huli chicken with mac and rice sides. Also ordered a dole whip which was excellent. The 3 stars are for the food, but this will likely be our last attempt.

Yelp
This has become one of our favorite places to eat. After visiting Hawaii in 2020 we were really happy to get a taste of the islands close to home again. It is quick to pick up and always tastes good. It is something different. I love the pineapple. My husband and I each have our favorite meats. We always get two and share and have left overs the next day because they heat so well. My absolute favorite is the spicy chicken. Its so good.

Yelp
What a joke! First, the close at midnight, and at 9:15 p.m., they are out of meat except for a pork dish. So, I ordered what they had...a small vegetable plate. Sign price $6.50 and was supposed to include rice and macaroni salad, but the meal cost $11.91. The cashier was clueless and charged me extra for the sides that should have been included. I tried to explain to her that the sides are supposed to be included but her elevator doesn't leave the bottom floor. They need to retrain their staff.

Yelp
Admittedly I am always a little tougher on restaurants that present themselves as Hawaiian food venues. Being a native Hawaiian of course I'd always like to see the best. Hawaiian brothers has a clean and newly remodeled location in Denton and I hope it has a lot of success. Judging by the crowds that are passing through there between both visits (one a Friday night, second on Sunday afternoon after church), looks like their opening is strong. Again hope it continues. Cutting to the chase, it's definitely fast food as our order came out in little more than a few minutes. You order at a kiosk and they have someone there to assist if your are not tech savvy. Again newly remodeled so place looks clean. The atmosphere and food definitely Hawaiian. Great local style music. I had fun showing some other visitors which islands were which on their wall map. Seems like cool place to be and the staff is super helpful and polite. The food....I'd order the luau pig, which was spot on as far as a local flavor style shredded pork over rice with a scoop of rice and Mac. The entrees normal size are $8.50 and you can adjust from there larger or smaller. The regular size is enough to feed me and I run 260 lbs. My wife, 14 year old, and I shared two meals and still had leftovers. The other we tried was Huli chicken plate (Friday evening) and the Honolulu plate Sunday. I want to be careful how I word this but also put this in a way for others to understand. It's really nothing more than your local Chinese food shop, with food cooked ahead of time or near done and with more Hawaiian style flavors in the place of Sesame or General Tso chicken. But let me reiterate that the luau pork is legit!!! I have to say the Mac is a very different flavor than I recall from home. It's way too much mayonnaise and way too peppery to be compared to what Hawaiians might expect from home. But to be honest it's not bad that way, just being real that it's not authentic style. My daughter liked the huli chicken, I thought it over seasoned (though true huli huli chicken is typically a complex taste). We all agreed on the pork however. The spam musubi is probably twice the rice it needs versus the slice of spam that you get with it. And they like to drown both the musubi and chicken in whatever flavor they are doing. Huli worked, but Honolulu did not. They have a couple more and I'm happy to go and try as the price and the atmosphere together make for an affordable meal and it's close to the house. I wouldn't make a special trip to be honest, but if you're close by try the pork for sure. The soft serve style ice cream reminded me of the Dole Plantation pineapple ice cream on Oahu, and the other flavor they offer is strawberry. Also the place is new so hopefully they can make adjustments as they move forward. Truth is that even a small slice of home is better than no slice at all. Mahalo everybody!

Yelp
Good food for a great price! Portion sizes are also a big plus! One regular plate definitely feeds one hungry person or can save half for later. I usually do takeout but the location is nice so wouldn't mind eating there. People are also very friendly.

Yelp
I've been here several times and the food and service is always awesome!! Ambiance is great with good vibes. Managers are always helpful and a few honorable mentions from the staff are definitely Austin and "Castle" being amazingly helpful every time. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Super yummy!! Went with friends, each of us ordered 4 different bowls, and we all were fans. No one spoke while we ate cause it was so good! Haha very happy to have this place nearby. Also, as a person who has been to the dole plantation in hawaii many times...their dole whip is fantastic. Even the swirl was amazing! Felt like I was back there on the beach. Definitely will be back.

Yelp
I have been back a few times since and the chicken has been much better than the first time. Interestingly enough, I just went to Hawaii this past week and had several lunch plates from L&L, Zippy's, and Ted's in the North Shore. Hawaiian Bros ranks up there with those and I would say it is better than L&L and Zippy's. So much so that while I just got back from Hawaii yesterday, I stopped into Hawaiian Bros today. Great stuff.

Yelp
Only meat I recommend is the pulled pork. It's lean, smoky and delish! I'm not a fan of Hawaiian pasta salad, but there's is exactly like you get in Hawaii. LOVE the dolewhip, too!!!

Yelp
3-26-2022 I've had this place on my bookmarks for a while, not knowing there was a location in Denton. I finally tried it out and we loved everything the food, staff, atmosphere, it was a beautiful day and we ate outside. When you first enter there is a counter, however no one was there. I noticed several kiosks to the side where you can self serve and place your orders. You can pay by credit card on the kiosk or print a ticket and pay cash at the counter. The menu was simple and very easy to order/modify on the kiosk. The menu has a carb free option for $1 where they substitute vegetables for the rice and macaroni salad, which was perfect for us. You can also add fresh pineapple for $1. Three sizes available, small, classic and large. Our order was ready very fast. I noticed the same for other patrons who ordered before and after us. All served fast. They offer curbside service and have an area on the inside for Uber Eats, DoorDash and online order pick up. I had the small Huli Huli chicken carb free and added the fresh pineapple. My partner had classic Molokai chicken, carb free. Both were so delicious, very flavorful, fresh and juicy. We shared the dole soft serve, mango and pineapple twist. There is only one size, and it was good size for sharing. The soft serve was perfection, sweet but not too sweet and a great ending to the meal. I probably ate more than my half but I couldn't help myself it was super delicious. I didn't realize this was a chain and it had an app. Downloaded the app while there but I didn't create an account until after leaving. Once you create your account, the first reward is a free dole soft serve. Since we will be back that reward will definitely be enjoyed. While I was searching the app and website, I saw the merch for sale, T-shirts and a mesh hat with a pineapple. I noticed two Texas shirts and loved the one with the TX flag. The merch was actually displayed at the front near the kiosks. They had my size and since they were so reasonably priced I bought a shirt before leaving. This place really impressed me, I've told my family and now my Yelp fam, and we will be back to dine again.

Yelp
Local Hawaiian style chicken and pork. Very well done. Dole whip free when you sign up online. The "dryness" is the cut of chicken as it is low-fat breast. Sauce is good. Being from Hawaii I like the rice and Mac salad. You could add potatoes for a bigger take home salad. We will return!
