"Atlantic City’s Hayday Coffee offers coffee beverages year-round, seven days a week. Stop by this South New York Avenue beverage spot for a cortado or cold brew and accompany your drink of choice with a yogurt parfait or egg croissant sandwich for breakfast or choose a delicious lunch offering, such as the chicken salad on a croissant or mozzarella and pesto on ciabatta." - Kristen Kwiatkowski

Best Americano I had, something Ive never tasted before, its got a nutty flavor that soothes you. Staffs are really friendly and allowed us to stay for an hour half to do our school work. Thank you

Google
This cute little coffee shop was such a great find while visiting AC this past weekend. Delicious cold brew and my husband had decaf. He said it was probably the best tasting decaf he has ever had. 10/10 would recommend a visit.

Google
Loved the vibe at the this place and service was great. Giving 4 stars as the coffee beans for espresso was over roasted and oily. I ended up ordering hibiscus tea instead. For coffee connoisseur out there, don’t recommend this shop for latte. For folks who add sugar to your coffee, you can compensate for these beans by adding more sugar.

Google
Cute local coffee spot near the Broadwalk. Good latte, decent breakfast croissant and fun murals outside perf for a quick morning stop and stroll!

Google
Oatmeal is water down and plain. The latte had more almond milk than actual coffee. Sandwich wasn’t too bad but some part of the croissant were dry. Very friendly staff and welcoming as well as fast service and clean tables. Bake good were cold and not warmed at all. Not bad tasting tho.

Google
BEAUTIFUL cafe BEAUTIFUL vibe The service was quick and personable. I ordered an Iced Matcha w. oat milk first and I would like to believe it was made with love 💕 because of all my digestive questions before hand 😀 . Take notes, Starbucks. The Matcha was foamy & refreshing . It really was so good so then I spotted their GF ricotta sponge cake dessert made from a local bakery - NO WORDS. It’s one of the best desserts I’ve had - and ricotta ??!! Cmon. I love a coffee shop where you're not afraid to ask to have your coffee how you want it and they returned every request with a SMILE. I highly recommend and will be returning 🥳⭐️🫶🏼

Great coffee! Loved the vibe. This place was right around the corner from our hotel. The Courtyard Marriott.

Google
There’s a reason that this place is highly rated. And you need to stop in and see for yourself. Cute little coffee shop off on the side road vibes. If that’s what you’re into. It’s not a corporate coffee shop. Good espresso. Good ice coffee. And apparently they are not new to the coffee game. Over 6 years of operation. Swing in and find out.

Yelp
Heyday was my go-to coffeehouse when I stayed in AC, and hot damn do I wish that I could have taken it back with me! During my AC stay, I pretty much had everything figured out except for where to score a damn good cup of coffee. But Yelp came through by guiding me to this gem of a coffeehouse that was three blocks from my hotel, and I was instantly sold by the variety of coffee options, cool art on the walls from inside and out, and the strong neighborhood vibe that came with it. When I visit my coffeehouses I usually just grab a regular coffee or a red eye when I need that extra pick me up. But the photos and recommendations that I saw that I saw before my visit had me instantly drawn to the French Toast Latte. And it proved to be the perfect blend of sweet and savory within a cup! My coming before a beer festival also meant that I needed a good bite to eat, and they elevated the typical egg & cheese breakfast sandwich with their fresh croissant and your choice of meat! Work talk put me on a mission to find a better version of Starbucks' lavender cold foam drink concoction. And even though it isn't what I usually go for the seasonal lavender latte served cold with foam was the perfect wakeup on a breezy warm day. Outside of coffee, I love that their website keeps you informed on insider places to visit in AC, and when I shared some mural photos on Instagram they were quick to point me towards a lot of the artists. For all of the above Hayday is on point!

Yelp
AC's coffee shop... as far as I know, literally AC's only coffee shop. That would present a problem if it was bad. But, you're in luck, it's excellent. Being what I believe to be the only coffee shop in town, you can imagine how busy it gets on a Saturday morning. That being said, the two folks running it never got flustered, they were calm and cordial throughout. However, it did present a problem with seating, I'm sure they're wishing they had a larger space. As mentioned, the coffee was excellent and they also have a smallish food menu; enough to choose from but not too much which means they stick to offering what I assume they make best. I didn't try any food but dined at their sister restaurant which was every bit as good as their coffee spot.

Yelp
Signature drinks are heavenly! The service is superb. Friendly and pleasant. The ambiance is trendy, chill, clean. Must visit! Thank you for being here.

Courtney S.

Yelp
Stopped in here after staying at the Ocean to try somewhere local and the street is a little shaky but the coffee and staff were very nice! The nitro didn't have any "nitro" ness about it but it tasted good. Perhaps they needed their CO2 replaced? No worries. A fine stop for some caffeine!

Chandni G.

Yelp
A cute little coffee shop amidst the Atlantic City casinos. We ordered the chai latte, a croissant and a pesto sandwich. Everything was yum. I don't normally enjoy creamy chai but this one was different. Definitely recommend trying. The service was quick and made to perfection.

Debbie F.

Yelp
Don't judge a book by its cover cause you might miss some great breakfast sandwiches and coffee. This place had me come back twice during my vacation for that sausage croissant. It was so fresh and tasty. It's a small place but offers large in service and quality. There is ample parking and even though it has a line most times it goes fast.

Victoria V.

Yelp
Love love love! The workers so so sweet and quick! The drinks were great! The place is super cute inside and outside. We will be back. Losts of different flavors and had sugar free ones.

Michele R.

Yelp
Sick of the overpriced bland coffee in the hotels? Want a fresh made breakfast? Then head here! Only a short walk from the Boardwalk! We had hot oatmeal that was delicious. We both had a signature drink that were phenomenal. Hubby's French Toast latte made with their fresh roasted coffee. I had the golden hour latte made with ginger turmeric tea. We will definitely come back each time we visit AC.

Sharon M.

Yelp
Absolutely recommend this coffee shop! Amazing and very refreshing drinks! Been going for almost a year and never had one drink I didn't enjoy! My favorite is the mocha matcha latte! Recently also tried a seasonal drink which was SOOO GOOD! Service is always friendly! Absolutely Love it there!

Yelp
I stopped by here a week ago with my wife and our twins for our morning coffee. Whenever we are traveling we like to try local coffee houses and since we were in Atlantic City we decided to head to Hayday Coffee. It's located on S New York St and is a tiny little place. Inside there are 4 tables with seating for only 14 people although they have a few seats outside too. One of the walls is exposed brick while the floor is cement and the ductwork is exposed. For my coffee on this morning I went with one of their signature drinks which was the French toast latte while my wife went with an iced mocha. The menu described the French toast latte as espresso, maple syrup, cinnamon and your choice of milk. After a few minutes we had our coffee and were on our way. My coffee ended up being pretty good. You could easily taste the cinnamon and maple syrup which were the dominant flavors and reminded me of breakfast. The coffee was there too but in a supporting role and so while I enjoyed the drink, I don't know that I could tell you whether the coffee was good or not. My wife also really enjoyed her mocha. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Both my wife and I enjoyed our drinks from here.

Yelp
If you like specialty coffee shops this is the place to go in AC. They have the best coffee I've tried in the area. I always stop somewhere after a night at the Borgata and this is def my favorite. It's a cute little spot on a street with ample parking. Inside is clean and staff was nice. The French toast latte is fantastic! The espresso they use is very good. Tried the egg sandwich on a croissant which was great too. Love the Gouda that comes on it.

Kevin S.

Yelp
This place is the best. The addition of a few breakfast items to the menu is the icing on the cake. When you wake up in the morning fog and don't feel like getting ripped off in the casino, step out onto the boardwalk and let your eyes adjust to the sun. Rub your eyes and start moving towards New York Ave. After a while, your body just moves automatically, drawn by the allure of artisan roasted coffee and the friendly smiles behind the counter. Cold brew, hot brew, it doesn't matter. Pretty soon you'll be sitting sipping in the sun, feeling that warm breeze on the outside and that caffeine on the inside. Or bring your laptop and work in the air conditioning for a bit. If you're anywhere nearby, Hayday is the only way to make your morning (or early afternoon). They should extend their weekend hours for the late risers, but if you can get there before 1, do it. You won't regret it.

Jim L.

Yelp
The place is located in Atlantic city, but somewhat away from actions so I guess it's a good thing. There's a plenty of parking, coffee's great, the place looks nice and great service. Id definitely come back again

Kasey B.

Yelp
Great little coffee shop just off the boardwalk. Simple, but delicious coffees, lattes, and teas offered hot or cold. It did appear they had some breakfast offerings as well. The space is small, so if you are in a rush, to go may be the better option. The space also seems small because so many people were inside placing orders and grabbing drinks. Always a good sign though when you are looking for the right pick me up and have the time to wait for it. Highly recommend a stop if you are looking for something better than Starbucks in every casino on the Boardwalk.

Caitlin L.

Yelp
This cafe has such great ratings on Google and Yelp, but I thought it was too good to be true to find such a place in Atlantic City. However, surprisingly, the place does live up to the hype! The cashier recommended the French Toast Latte, and it was actually fantastic. Well-sweetened with the perfect amount of caffeine. Good service in a good location, I recommend this place to anyone, and next time I'm coming to AC, you bet I'll be coming to this cafe again :)

Jack C.

Yelp
2/17/24 - 830am - their website and door sign lists an opening time of 8am, yet they are closed: "Open 7 days, year round! 8 am - 1 pm" For a business that prides itself on being "hospitality driven"...you may want to get your act together.

Jose A.

Yelp
Being in Atlantic City for the first time in 15 years, I didn't know what to expect. By far the best café experience I've ever had in Atlantic City! Katie and the entire staff were simply stellar. It was so good, my partner and I went back on consecutive days! To start, my partner had a hot oat chai with a touch of vanilla; I ordered a hot oat latte. Then we both ordered the egg croissant. Breakfast/brunch of champions, to say the least. Loved the laid back ambiance, too! When it comes to overall end-to-end execution, the Hayday team has got "it." So much so, we're already planning our next trip to AC. At the top of our list, returning to Hayday is #1.

John V.

Yelp
Best coffee and baristas in Atlantic City, well worth adventure. Nothing beats an Americano to start the day.

Sarah K.

Yelp
What a cute coffee shop! And, it's walkable from the boardwalk! When you walk in, you are immediately warmly greeted with enthusiasm and genuinity. The baristas here are super sweet, helpful, and patient as you try to figure out what to have. They take their barista roles very seriously and want to offer you the very best of what you order. They have the typical choices, but they also have unique drinks. I had a mocha matcha and the barista went through all the motions of whisking the matcha powder with hot water before adding the other ingredients. It was very good and not too sweet! My friend had the loaded chai aka dirty chai and she said it was really good. And, her kid had a hot chocolate and it was so good that he finished it pretty quickly. If I'm in AC, I will definitely be stopping by again. And, this place is way better than the chain coffee places. Come and support a small business that truly cares about every cup they serve to you. Tips: -They also have pastries, which you have to inquire about if you are interested because they were not displayed. They were good, but if you are trying to be healthy, this is not for you. We had the chocolate chip banana bread and lemon bar and they were really decadent, rich, buttery, moist, and sweet. Sounds good, right? :) -If you are looking for other places to check out, they were very helpful in sharing their suggestions for local goodies to check out.

Tara B.

Yelp
Great coffee. Super yummy croissant with Nutella. Off the boardwalk, so not nearly as crowded as other coffee shops.

Ceire K.

Yelp
Very cute coffee joint. Friendly baristas, good menu selection. I was grateful for the delicious gluten free pastries, too.

Katie S.

Yelp
AMAZING. coffee - superb. Food - delish. You'll definitely want to hit up this spot when you're in AC - we came in for breakfast and the staff was very polite. So happy we stopped by!

Eric S.

Yelp
While I've only tried their iced coffee, the place itself is a hidden gem for the area. I'm not a big fan of AC, but this little spot made life a lot smoother. The young lady behind the counter was awesome too. Service was great. Thx.

Pamela B.

Yelp
Cute coffee spot. The chai is so good and tasty Tried the banana loaf. It was ok And the crumb coffee cake was ok too Not used to eating vegan treats but it was good

Larry F.

Yelp
Great coffee and friendly service. Next time I will try a breakfast sandwich. Worth the ride from Ventnor!

Anthony K.

Yelp
Brilliant barista, exemplary service, spectacular atmosphere! Loved this place and it's employee. Will return as soon as I can!

Rachel P.

Yelp
Oh how I love Hayday. This coffee shop is exactly what Atlantic City needed - locally roasted coffee, creative and well-crafted espresso drinks and a friendly community. I'm a huge fan of this coffee shop! I've had the French Toast Latte (cinnamon and maple syrup with your choice of milk and espresso) - highly recommend, a simple flat white, their delicious cold brew, iced americano, and the Mocha Matcha (to which I added espresso). I have never been disappointed with my beverages, it is always consistently good! In the summer and on the weekends, you can find their cold brew cart on the boardwalk, featuring taps crafted by a local artisan (who uses solar carving!) - so cool.

Deni B.

Yelp
Not only is Hayday one of the only local coffee shops in AC, it is fantastic!! I stopped in over the weekend with a take out order for 10 people. I know it's a big load to drop on two baristas at once, but Leslie and Brianna swiftly took care of it. I had everyone's orders written on a piece of paper which they used to label each drink with everyone's names. It took no more than 10 minutes from the time I walked in the door to the time I walked out with all of the drinks in hand. The French Toast Latte is SO DELICIOUS that I came back the next morning for another one. Not joking. It's a latte with cinnamon and maple syrup - I subbed in oat milk. (Bit steep to charge a whole dollar for alternative milks, but I'm usually willing to cough it up anyway...) Seriously good, though. I'll probably spend some time trying to recreate it at home, good. Everyone else loved it too. You know it's a good sign when 10 people can order off the menu, and all find something they like and be happy with it!

Cathryn P.

Yelp
The owner was so sweet and answered all of our questions (we're opening a coffee cart business soon). Their signature Mocha-Matcha was delicious- perfectly thick and had a really pleasant earthy sweetness. This was my first time having mocha with matcha! Also, their shop has a GORGEOUS nuova simonelli 3-group espresso machine. Absolutely fell in love and really appreciated that you could easily see the workflow thanks to their very open layout. I would come back much more often if I lived closer and will absolutely be sure to visit any time I'm in AC! I'll for sure remember to take photos next time!

Orquidea R.

Yelp
Amazing and uniquely made coffee by the best baristas in town. The variations are so tasty and always leaves you wanting to come back for more. Experience it for yourself, you can't say I didn't tell you to!

Neil B.

Yelp
We're always on the search for a cool coffee shop to hang out, do a little work and enjoy a fancy cup of coffee! We found Hayday on one of our first days in Atlantic City. They not only have all kinds of delicious coffee drinks, they have gluten free treats too! We tried the Irish potato and the French toast drinks. Then after about an hour of working, decided we should have some food too. Both their yogurt with fresh fruit and classic oatmeal were great! We even saved some room for a gluten free lemon bar, that was excellent! It was such a great find that Neil decided to go back for another coffee, a few days later. Thanks so much to the girls there. They were great hosts and they recommended the murals around town as a fun "local" thing to do. Have you visited Hayday before at their other location and wondered where they went? Well they moved so you're in luck because they're back again!

Isabella S.

Yelp
Great coffee, super friendly staff and such a nice little local spot. We stopped here every day during our stay except the day they were closed. Menu is limited for breakfast options, but perfectly fits them as a coffee place. If you're looking for a local business to support, this is one you should check out!!

Doug D.

Yelp
The Press of Atlantic City wrote about Hayday Coffee opening. The city is trying to bring back the Tennessee Ave corridor as a sort of main street area with lots of independently owned shops. I believe this is also a yoga studio and a chocolate shop there now, too. Atlantic City has so much commercialism inside the casinos, so it's nice to see a mom & pop coffee shop open up. Tennessee Ave has a long way to go; it's still very rugged, but I definitely like supporting these places. The coffee is so much better than you would find at any other coffee shop in town. I'm not just saying that to support this friendly small business. The coffee has a complex flavor to it, and you do not need even need cream & sugar. The atmosphere is clean and nice. You can go sit there with your tablet and relax for a bit. I recommend stopping here on your way out of town after you slept over at one of the casinos. My cup of coffee at $2 was much less expensive than any cup you'd find in a casino anyway.

Hailey W.

Yelp
Cute little spot in Atlantic City. Wanted to grab a coffee before I left town. I realized on the drive it might be taking me into another casino, but it wasn't! Great customer service, nice aesthetics and good lattes

mlo p.

Yelp
The coffee is by far the best in AC. The overnight oats were delicious. But most important I walked in and was greeted with friendliness! Support independent coffee. It's only 1/2 block from the boardwalk!

Morgan K.

Yelp
What a gem in AC! Perfect place for some quality coffee, pastries (many vegan / gluten free options). The staff was friendly. Located right next to the boardwalk. We ended up getting some yummy pastries & coffee cake - then took our coffees to the beach for a nice morning walk!!

Penny I.

Yelp
This is such a cute little coffee shop! Stopped in while on the hunt for coffee while on vacation and will definitely be back next time I'm in AC! Coffee was great - so many options, and super flavorful & the lemon bar is perfection.

Bob L.

Yelp
By far the best coffee in AC! It's right off the boardwalk in the Orange Loop, staff is friendly, and they make an awesome oat milk cappuccino!

Steve C.

Yelp
I'm pretty particular about my coffee/lattes. Decided to try the Chai Latte and it's really good. 2nd best I've had.

Peter P.

Yelp
I recently went to Atlantic City this past weekend it was my first time. I went for a friends birthday. Getting in early coffee was my first priority but my friends wanted to check in to our hotel first. Glad we did it gave me time to Google a few places and Hayday came up! It was a few blocks away had excellent reviews and wasn't a chain. Being from NYC I have endless options for coffee. At work we even had personal training sessions with baristas on how to use our brand new La Marzocco Linea PB :) We pull our own shots of perfection every morning and when I leave this amazing city I hope that where i'm going is a coffee shop like Hayday. The coffee is very very good. Make everyday a Hayday!

Virginia T.

Yelp
Found this place on Yelp and drove 15 minutes out of my way just to try the cappuccino due to rave reviews. Very off location (kind of sleezy but trying to be up and coming). Anyway, totally worth it. If you are around definitely try the coffee here. Cool vibe, friendly service and nice atmosphere.

Lolly G.

Yelp
I waited in a car while a friend ran in to grab a coffee. Super cute place with killer coffee. It's nice for the coffee snob in me to have a quick visit to AC and not have to go to Starbucks. It's owned by locals who have pride in this place. Happy to support. Will be back.

Ben H.

Yelp
Obsessed and so glad we finally have a real coffee shop right in the heart of Atlantic City. Good pastries, great coffee, plenty of seating, and good vibes! What more could ya want? I tried their signature cold brew on a hot summer day, and it was the perfect afternoon pick me up. ALSO - everyone that works here is SO nice...Anyway, if you're in Atlantic City, I totally recommend stopping in for some tasty drinks and refreshing ambiance!

Tally E.

Yelp
Very good coffee, this is such a welcomed spot for new coffee lovers. It's hard to get a good cup of coffee in AC. This place reminds me of your typical cute coffee shop found in Manhattan that i'm use to and now it's in AC too. I got some lattes and they were made very well. Will definitely come by again, probably will be here too often hehe

Mike O.

Yelp
This place has absolutely fantastic espresso and lattes. And it has a pleasant atmosphere.

Liz R.

Yelp
SUPER COOL & TOP NOTCH COFFEE SHOP IN AC! I'm really excited to have this amazing coffee shop in the heart of Atlantic City. The coffees and teas are poured right from a tap and are totally legit! They have nitro coffees, cold brews, herbal teas and a variety of other options. The decor is impeccable and the owners are extremely personable and fun! You can absolutely stop in for a quick coffee and to read the paper or to post up for a bit with your tea and work away on your laptop. I'm really rooting for this place!!!!

Jon M.

Yelp
This is the best cafe I've ever visited! The chai lattes were delicious, as was the flat white, but the Golden Hour (a ginger, turmeric, and honey drink) was incredible! You must try it! We also loved their overnight oats and their local baked goods. Kind and welcoming staff, and a great vibe! Stop in!

Sara B.

Yelp
Great coffee great people! This mama so glad to have found them on her Atlantic City trip! Really nice iced oat milk latte, and they had light and dark roast hot coffee.

Ryan G.

Yelp
Awesome new (old) spot in the Orange Loop. They just opened up their new location around the corner from the old one, and it's great. The coffee is delicious, and the space is very cool. The owners are as committed as anyone to the area, and their dedication shows. Highly recommend!

Addy G.

Yelp
Hay Day coffee is on Tennessee Avenue, a street close to the boardwalk that is gentrifying. The same cluster of owners have opened up a free yoga studio, Hay Day coffee, Beer House restaurant, and the chocolate bar. I poked my head into the chocolate bar and it looked really cute. The restaurant looked fun as well. I stopped and had a coffee after walking around in circles trying to find a coffee shop. Finally I asked Kionna from the hotel and she recommended Hay Day. I was greeted by a not so friendly employee but a very friendly manager. I believe he said his name was Zenith. He was so kind in taking the time to explain all the new places opening up, and all about Hay Day. The coffee itself is good, definitely on the stronger side. I ordered a half caf because I had a feeling it was going to be a bitter, stringer tasting coffee, which it was. When I went to pay, the same unfriendly employee continued to be unfriendly and rang me out. My coffee cost about three dollars and some change which is little bit more expensive than your average small black, but the coffee and environment is good and there's literally no good coffee around there. I would return here next time I am in the area.
