Haykin Family Cider

Since we're not fans of beer, my friends and I were excited to check this place out. We weren't disappointed. We had a flight of 3 and found there was a cider for all palettes. My personal favorite was the Priscilla. Tap and sparkling water are provided A tip - you can bring in food for your tasting. Well worth trying and will definitely be coming back. The logistics. Onsite parking is available. The bar area and sitting room were nicely laid out. Our server, Nancy, was excellent. She was extremely knowledgable about all aspects of the ciders, the apples used and the process. There wasn't a question we had that she couldn't answer.

CRAZY AMAZING! It's a cider except it's more sparkling wine-like than traditional cider! Honestly such a unique experience with cider as the range of flavors will make you have a new appreciation for cider. Definitely get a flight to try them all and afterwards you will want to take some bottles of it home! Great for gifts as well. The main sitting area is at the bar where you can talk to everyone and the makers of the cider. They are super friendly and always a fun vibe.

What an hidden gem near the train and Peoria light rail station. It is an industrial district in Aurora, a hop and a skip away from Stapleton. Cute little bar top that seats less than 15. Great ambiance, decor and beautiful lighting above the bar. Clean and adorable restroom too. Plus it is also on the Aurora Craft Brew Tours. A great way to explore 8 different places. Plus you win a glass or a growlers. They are all kosher. They are an award winning small batch cidery in Aurora. A great a sparkling wine like ciders with so many levels of flavors. Also keep in mind they just entered all 16 ciders in Glintcap 2018 and all 16 placed an award out of 1400 other cideries. THIS IS A MUST GO TO PLACE!

Such a cool vibe if you like cider (as that’s all they serve which makes sense). They have a variety of different flavors and it’s obvious they take pride in their craft! Nice chill atmosphere!

Swung in on a Friday evening with my mate. We were curious about their their various heirloom ciders so we tried quite a few. Our cidertender was knowledgeable and passionate, went above and beyond. Loved this spot and would go back.

Absolutely love this place. Unassuming location, which I love, but the build out is phenomenal, and the cider. Oh man, the cider is just unreal. Had a nice little evening here while on a date. Though it is small, it is VERY nice, new and clean. I wasn't a huge fan of the location but you would never guess this nice little cidery would be inside the walls of the industrial building. There wasn't a single cider we didn't like. The people here also were very personable. Definitely recommend and will go again.

Our small group had a great time trying the different ciders. The bartender was personable and knowledgeable.

Got to visit this place on a Saturday for a private party. As soon as we got here, I will tell you parking as a challenge. However, apparently on the weekends parking is open despite all of the reserved signs that line the actual parking spaces. There was also an upper area that is completely unpaved, but apparently it's also used for parking. The location is a little bit small however it has everything you expect from a brewery type set up. There are huge stainless steel VATs. There's lots of boxes and bottles everywhere as well. However, I think the best part is definitely the options for tasting menu as well as options for a full glasses of a variety of siders that they produce both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Place is really clean great for hosting this private event and the staff that we're here that day we're very friendly and helpful and patient as well.

This tasting room is recommended on the new 'Westword 100 Bars' under the Beer & Cider Destinations. I had recently had Haykin Family Cider as part of a dinner pairing menu at a local restaurant, so I was pleased to see it on the list. The tasting room is large and nicely decorated. Staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. They have multiple options for tastings: flights, tasters, or a glass. All are generous pours at reasonable prices. Their menu lists detailed information about each cider as well as the tasting notes to as the level of how dry or sweet the selection is. Haykin Family Cider makes small batch cider with bubbles that are similar to sparkling wine. We were able to hang out for a bit and laugh and relax. It was a great experience and I would happily return.

A quiet little distillery in the heart of north Aurora's industrial area. The cider is exceptional and goes far beyond the typical strong ciders in the liquor store. There are so many options to try out. You can get a tasting, a flight, or a glass of whatever suits your fancy. It's hard to go wrong here with the selections. The server was very knowledgeable about all things cider and gave us some tasting of new items not yet on the menu but will be shortly. Fun, chill place.

The tasting room is tucked into an industrial strip mall. There are marked parking spaces but it opens up to parking during the typical hours you'd visit. We first tried them at a farmers market and were pleasantly impressed. They have a range of ciders from dry to medium dry. Some of their specials have been some of the best ciders I've had like their scavenged crabapple. We've been a few times and just sat at the bar, the bar has always been almost empty. The bartender has always been nice. Definitely recommend for a low-key evening.

I tried Haykin Cider at the Boulder Farmer's Market in 2023 and signed up for the club that day. I have have really enjoyed trying a variety of their ciders, which are both similar to a sparkling wine and refreshingly different. I don't get headaches drinking their ciders like I do with wine and the flavors, especially for the dry ciders inspire my tastebuds because I can taste the apples, but there are other subtle favors. Overall, it has just been fun! Getting my order from Aurora was a slight concern but the staff are so friendly and incredible to work with. I highly recommend the club!

Lovely family-owned cider tasting room. Great spot for a date night! We also took home a couple of bottles and they are super yummy.

Amazing experience at Haykin Family Cider! Quality cider that is made there, you can even see the carboys in the back. Different kinds of apples make different kinds of ciders. It was delicious and so fresh! Service was great too, so knowledgeable! We were even able to purchase a few to bring with us home to Minnesota. I'd go back, so refreshing! will you ship to us in Minnesota?

This is yet another place we've been meaning to visit for quite some time. It was fantastic, so clearly we left it too long! We sampled a number of ciders, including the McIntosh, Yarlington Mill, Golden Russet, and Williams' Pride, the latter two were our favorites. The Williams' Pride is a wonderful local cider made from apples from Masonville Orchards, Ft. Collins. This place has a great vibe. There was lots of seating in the hall and while it was a little chilly during winter I'm sure it'd be very pleasant in summer. The service was friendly and casual. We will be back again soon!

They have a great selection of ciders that are not your typical ciders. They ferment they ciders similar to Prosecco and each cider has a unique and distinct taste and flavor. You can get a membership that will give you exclusive access to their newly released ciders. However, you can still try their other ciders without the membership but it must be in store.

Finally got the chance to check out Haykin after sampling their ciders at the farmers market. Such a great selection and absolutely everything is delicious! The options available will satisfy all tastes. Ciders are available by the glass and they also have bottle options, as well as a cider club if you'd like to set up a subscription for a discount. The tap room is a decent size, with a bar and a few tables. Our party of four was able to grab a table in the back to sit at comfortably. Ample parking in the lot for 5pm and after, plus dedicated spots at the front right after you enter. There are so many brewery options that it's nice to have another cider-centric place to go.

A welcomed distraction from the local brewery scene! I stopped by on a weekend while waiting for my husband to finish up some work in the anschutz campus. Decent price (about $6-$8 for a glass). Selection was about 4-8 draft and a few cans. The odds and ends was amazing - not too sweet or dry. Hours of operation during covid are mainly Thursday -Sunday (I think)...

This is my favorite cider in Denver. The owner/cider maker was there and so knowledgeable. I can't wait to go back.

First of all - Tyler was the best bar tender ever. We ordered a flight of all their available ciders and he went through and described each one. He was so knowledgeable about all the varietals we were drinking. He also had some good food pairing ideas. Haykin has good drinks and friendly service. I will be coming back for sure!

We held our neighborhood mom's group event here pre-grand opening and it's fantastic! Friendly staff who made us feel comfortable and welcome. Be sure to ask for a tour to learn more about their equipment and how great cider is made! They take true pride in their production, and it pays off!

Eyeballed the sign as we were driving south on Peoria. A couple hours later, read an article in the post about the new opening. Of course we had to research and try. We stopped in this evening and were greeted by a clean, crisp tasting room and cider maker We tried a flight and two additional tasters. Being able to speak to the maker about the apples and cider history was a bonus. Try this place. Tasting room is open on Thursdays and Saturdays.

Haykin Family Cider, where do I start? The taproom manager and cidertenders, Megan and Courtney are amazing. They are so attentive and helpful, they can speak to all the ciders and where the apples came from, and what the tasting notes are. And if Dan or Talia come in, you really understand their passion. They are such wonderful owners, and recognize their patrons. I can't recommend this place enough, and I haven't even gotten to speak about the quality of their product which is undoubtedly the best in the Denver metro area. I love this place.

Very nice and quaint. Came with my husband after reading about this place. Very intimate setting, but it works. We tried the menu flight and it gave us good insight to a lot of their ciders. Didn't catch the name of the woman working but she was great. Only bad thing I can say is that I think their location is not the greatest. Parking may also be an issue during the week when the other surrounding businesses are open.

I usually go to breweries but decided to give this place a try since it was close. It was such a great place. Ciders were awesome. We had the full flight of all 7 ciders. It's a pretty small space, which makes it even better. The bartender (or cider tender?) was great and gave us quite the education on the ciders and the process of making it. Great place to hit up!

First time here. Small location in industrial park. Super clean & staff super friendly. Not big into cider but my goodness this place has some amazing stuff. The Dabinett was wonderful. Ill be buying a couple these for family Thanksgiving gathering. Yall definately need to try this place. A Cidery not a Brewery, who'da thunk it.

My husband and I were looking for a local spot to get some cider and we happened across Hawkins Family Cider. The cider was fantastic, the atmosphere was friendly and open, and the tasting room was lovely. The ciders are delicious and there is a good variety of options. We will definitely be back!
