A neighborhood taproom that pours small-batch beers and hosts arts-district happenings—from Pride trivia nights to bookish pop-ups. It’s an easy stroll to the First Fridays scene and the district’s murals, music, and maker energy.

A Cozy Surprise in the Historic District! We hadn’t planned to stop, but we’re so glad we did! Stumbled upon this gem while admiring the historic district and decided to pop in. They had just tapped a delicious Earl Grey cider—absolutely delightful! We grabbed our books, settled in by the fire, and sipped away in relaxed atmosphere. Regulars chatted at the bar, adding to the welcoming vibe. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in! 🍏🔥📖 Enjoying life 1 sip, 1 bite and 1 small town at a time. Explore everything!

I had such a great time at Haynie’s. I wasn’t planning on staying there a long time, but that’s what I did. Great beers, great conversation. Felt like a welcomed local. I appreciated feeling so comfortable at a place that I just walked into. It is a very local place, most of the folks in there were regulars, but they welcomed me with open arms. And, the beer is very, very good.

HCBC is so much more than a bar. This place is a community hub that is not just located in the heart of Evansville's Art District, but is a crucial part of keeping that heart beating. It is impossible to list all the amazing things this place has brought to the city of Evansville. The drinks are wonderful, prices are low, beers are handcrafted with care, the atmosphere is welcoming and inviting, and the staff are legitimately excited when you visit. This is the kind of establishment that makes other cities jealous. Evansville is truly lucky to have such an active community!

This is a good microbrewery with a good variety of the basics. The inside is humble, but they have large tables. We played Dominion, which they had in their board game section. We tried three of their beers, which were all relatively "normal" but good nevertheless. Service was friendly. We would visit again.

This place is such a vibe for the Haynie's Corner Arts District neighborhood and an asset to Evansville. It's homey, friendly, quirky, inclusive, and there's always something fun to do, like Irish music jams, weekly trivia, holiday pop-ups, book clubs, featured food truck nights, and much more! The owners and bartenders are awesome! We love it!

I always dig this place - but honestly not for the beer. The beer is…. Ok. It’s neither bad nor amazing. The inside is nothing to write home about either. But you can’t deny how friendly and fun the staff are, their involvement in their community, and the fact they’ve created a welcoming place for all.
