I've worked in downtown Topeka for a decade and this is one of the places I visit on a regular basis when I want a little afternoon treat. Their customer service is and has always been punctual and friendly, their weight system is fair and their checkout process is easy. I love that I can get just one piece of chocolate or as much as I want. Their caramel apples, lemon things (the literal name) and the peanut butter fudge are some of my favorites when I want to change things up. They really do offer a lot of variety. The owners are two of the nicest people you'll ever meet and I've seen first hand how much they love our downtown community.

Best chocolate shop Experience I ever had at this downtown Topeka location. Their chocolate is very authentic and delicious. My favorites are caramel apples with different flavors.

Stopped in for the first time and got one too many desserts because they all looked so good! The best chocolate I’ve had in a long time and such a friendly staff :) The fudge and and the lemon thing was amazing

Google
Great chocolate for sure, but it bothers me that they don't have prices listed for their items. Made me wary that the staff also wouldn't or couldn't give exact prices when asked. Paid $13.50+ for four truffles, and they were really good, but the lack of clarity was... weird

Google
Great customer service. Their product is amazing! I haven’t had chocolate like that since France. I truly recommend this place.

Absolutely AMAZING service and quality. I ordered 3,000 chocolate dipped Oreos from Hazel Hill to be used as give aways at a conference in Las Vegas. They not only did a stellar job on the cookies (as always), they went above and beyond to ship them safely. Packed them with cold packs, stored them at a family members business in Las Vegas so they could be in a temperature controlled environment until they could be hand delivered to the conference venue. All the while they gave us updates on what was going on and how it was going. I can't thank the Hazel Hill team enough. And BTW, our clients LOVED the cookies!

An apple a day keeps the doctor away.... What about this beauty from Hazel Hill? Amazing dipped apples, chocolates, coffee, and more.

Yelp
We booked a birthday party for my 11 year old daughter and her friends through Hazel Hill. The owners Nick and Terry made it a memorable experience. It was fun, educational, reasonably priced, and delicious. I would highly recommend scheduling a small party or get together through them. Their fudge and chocolates are second to none!

Yelp
Excellent chocolates and sweets to choose from. My favorites are the fudge and "snickers "caramel apple. I little pricey but well worth it.

Yelp
We stopped here before going to Iron Rail Brewing Company since its diagonal across the street. We walked in and were greeted with amazing smells. A huge case of chocolate covered apples starts the long display case of goodies. We ended up taking home the sea salted caramels after being told they were "award winners". Fantastic!

Yelp
Little shop in Topeka that has a collection of chocolate truffles, chocolate covered nuts, caramel popcorn, fudge, candied apples, etc... Service is always friendly, and located right in the middle of downtown (Ok, no knock against Topeka, but downtown isn't that big to begin with). The bridge mix here is excellent, will definitely come back for it. Chocolate truffles are hit or miss, not a big fan or them. Nor are the chocolate turtles, didn't find them that great, especially for the price. Caramel popcorn is decent, probably not worth the price, but good flavor. Not a big fudge fan, but the small samples I've had were good. Overall, a good place to go downtown, and not sure what other chocolatiers they have in Topeka, but underwhelming when compared to some of the options in KC.

Yelp
We did a haunted tour around Topeka and ended up in this business and there chocolate covered apples are the best ive ever had!

Yelp
Came back and tried the frozen chocolate covered banana. I'm told it's a blend of milk and dark chocolate. Soooo good!

Yelp
Stopped in late on 2/13 and the staff was very friendly and accommodating after days of being slammed pre-Valentine's Day. It was great and we will be back!

Yelp
We drove way out of our way to this store to buy some fudge, they had everything else in the world except plain chocolate fudge. I asked two different sales persons and both of them pointed us to the mint fudge. Mint fudge is not plain fudge. This is like going to a coffee shop and them being out of coffee. They should quit trying to do too much, treats for dogs! Really? Get the basics right before trying to do everything else. They lost our business and we will never be back.

Yelp
I have to visit every time I'm in town and try something new. Yummy chocolate and good service :)

Yelp
Today was not a good day for Hazel Hill. The chocolate case was near empty. Looked like they had a large rush. It was not busy when I was there. Yet for some reason I could t get the attention of anyone to help me. Finally got one young man that told me he couldn't wait on me and walked away. The owner then came and informed me the case would look better in 2 days. I asked if I could get an Apple and she said "sure". Then informed me she was not going to get it but pointed to 2 people and said they could help me. I went to where they were and after no help I paid for the few items I had and walked out.

Yelp
One of the most interesting and high-quality establishments in Topeka. Featuring proper dark chocolate. Blowing through town? Go to PT's "flying monkey" location for lunch and coffee and then swing by here for dessert. Then you can pretty much leave town.

Yelp
Wonderful hand crafted chocolate. Definitely worth heading downtown for. My wife loves their coated apples, I enjoy their bark.

Yelp
Yummy chocolates made on site. On a scale of 1-10 I give them a solid 7.75 - that being said I have had phenomenal chocolate all over the world so I am particular about my chocolate. Stop in, they are worth it.

Yelp
We stopped here after lunch at the cafe next door and got a cheesecake apple and a snickers apple. I love caramel, but the cheesecake apple also had some marshmallow coating so it was very sweet, but still good. I love the snickers apple, would definitely get that next time. The apples were a bit pricey, $5 each, but they were good.

Yelp
Coconut truffles...dark chocolate almond clusters...cricket bark or something like that (it was peanut buttery and crispy)...a humongous dark chocolate peanut butter cup ----- I had too much chocolate that weekend. But, hey, I watched like four episodes of True Detectives in a row...was I supposed to save some of that?! Not possible. The cool thing was that I was gifted the truffle, because it was my birthday. I don't know if that is common practice, but it was on the sign out front that day and I flashed my ID and took advantage. They also cooperate with local business for promotion. That is actually why I was there that day. My focus group of REALTORS had teamed up with them to offer a promotion to our customers. So, I had to go in and cash in one of our offerings plus spend some extra pocket sugar. I was pleasantly surprised. I will definitely be returning. I am very happy they are offering sweet somethings in downtown Topeka now, and they are also located right next door to my favorite downtown coffee shop, the Classic Bean. I'm pretty sure to get anything else like what they offer a person has to be out on Wanamaker, if it is even available there. P.S. From the looks of things they also offer specialty items for weddings and special events.

Yelp
The caramel apples are the best! I love their Things. The dark chocolate strawberries are so delicious. I don't get to come here often as it's a luxury item considering the price of everything is so costly.

Yelp
Hazel Hill was a perfect place for our 8 year olds Birthday party. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Nick, the owner, was incredible with our group of kids as he took the time to learn their names and showed the utmost hospitality! We look forward to having more birthday parties there in the future! Thank you thank you!

Yelp
This is a really great place to pop in for something sweet after lunch or on a whim. The shop is adorable and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. For the size of the shop, there is a decent selection of different treats offered, and all of them are fantastic. Everything is made/hand dipped on site. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area!

Yelp
How sad that this place isn't very good. I spent about 50.00 here, and mind you that's not a lot of money for artisan chocolate. However, my money bought me grainy bon bons and chocolate covered pretzels which were stale and not even crisp. What a disapointment. The chocolate did not taste like high quality chocolate (I have had some fantastic artisan chocolate) it lacked the butter fat richness and mouth feel of expensive chocolate. Maybe Hazel Hill counts on its patrons not having any idea what good chocolate should be. It would be awesome to have a local chocolatier in Topeka....I wish the owners would step it up.

Yelp
I used to think of Hazel Hill's as "Eh. Typical Topeka, all hype and overpriced mediocrity". Its not bad candy, but really no better than the stuff by the cash register at any grocery store. After last night, I have to say it is dangerous. Yes, DANGEROUS. We do business with someone that sends us the four box gift selection every Christmas. After sitting on a counter for several days, we finally broke into it. We found four different chocolates with something hard and inedible in them. It honestly looked like my dog's toe nail clippings. Hard as glass. I tried breaking one of the pieces but couldn't. I'm guessing it was pieces of nut shell. Fortunately. there were no small children around, so no one got hurt, and we didnt have to call Hazel Hill from the emergency room. The remaining candy went straight into the trash can. We will make a point of telling the people that sent it "Thanks, but please don't send any more."

Yelp
I finally stopped in here after hearing so much about it. Their fudge was pretty good, but I felt like the chocolates and candies were kind of disappointing. It's definitely expensive which isn't particularly surprising. They have treats for pets which was cute. I know a lot of people are fans of their candied apples (which I'm not a fan of in general). It's a cute space and a cool idea for this town, just wish it had lived up to the hype for me.
