"Nashville’s beloved arcade bar Headquarters Beercade explodes into a winter wonderland on Saturday, December 1 with Reindeer Games — an immersive holiday pop-up. Located in the heart of SoBro at 114 2nd Ave South, Nashville’s biggest arcade bar will actually deck the halls with over-the-top decorations, interactive installations, specialty holiday-inspired cocktails, and more. Reindeer Games will take over the entire two-story, 6,500-square-foot space with traditional holiday decor turned on its head, designed and installed in-house to create a unique holiday experience. Guests can expect floor to ceiling decorations including walls adorned with 3D displays of Christmas trees and thousands of ornaments, 2,000 feet of twinkle lights illuminating the ceiling, 1,500 feet of garland draped on archways and windows, and life-size toy soldiers stationed throughout the space. Reindeer Games will also feature many experiential photo op moments, including a life-size Santa’s sleigh and a giant, four-person snow globe. There will also be activations inspired by cult-favorite Christmas films. Reindeer Games’ menu of festive dishes includes Santa’s Sliders, Charlie Brown’s Christmas Queso served with red and green tortilla chips, and Rudolph’s Reindeer Snacks with fried cinnamon sugar apples drizzled with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. The specialty cocktail menu will feature creative riffs on classic Christmas drinks and holiday flavors with names like Naughty List, Red Ryder Rosé, and a basic-friendly pumpkin spice hot toddy. Interactive events include holiday movie nights on Tuesdays, bingo every Wednesday, and Thursday visits from Santa. It all kicks off on December 1 with an ugly sweater party (recurring every Friday), but check Reindeer Games’ events calendar to see happenings for the whole month. Reindeer Games will be open every Monday-Thursday from 4 p.m. to 3 a.m. and every Friday-Sunday from 12 p.m.until 3 a.m. (including Christmas Eve and Christmas Day). Reservations are encouraged for groups of five or more and large group or corporate party packages are available. Headquarters will still be decked out with 20+ vintage arcade games for guests to enjoy during the pop-up." - Delia Jo Ramsey

"Headquarters debuted in 2012 in Lakeview, and owners Brian Galati and Chireal Jordan have since opened locations in River North and Nashville. They’ve stuffed the space with nostalgic arcade video game cabinets from the ‘80s and ‘90s while serving pub food, craft beer, and playful cocktails. The Lakeview location was taken over by Replay’s ownership, although Headquarters owners say they’re still planning to reopen in the neighborhood sometime this winter, according to its website." - Ashok Selvam

A decent place to hangout with friends . They have a bunch of card games to play with. The arcade games was closed which was kind a disappointing to us . The cocktail collection was good but the food options they have is limited . We got the tacos , Cuban sandwich and the turkey sandwich. Overall we had fun with all the Christmas decor they had and took tons of pictures.

This place wins for two reason: 1 - free game play before 9 PM on week nights. Come on. Who doesn't love a good arcade throwback sesh? 2 - the absolutely COMMITMENT to their Stranger Things pop up. I know you can't experience that year round, but you can still visit, buy drinks, and spend your money on the games to keep them primed and ready to go all out for future Halloweens! This place has a cool vibe and is great to hang out in even without the Halloween theme. They feature local beers and have a decent bar menu. If you're downtown, it's a fun way to spend a few hours (trust me, you'll wish you had more time to hang out no matter how much time you planned to spend). It's a great spot in between all the other walking around and museums in downtown - even if your whole group does want to play games, there is a lounge area with couches both up and downstairs, so even if your dogs are howling and you just want to post up with a beer for a few minutes, this is the spot.

The best bar in Nashville, hands down! Right off the main strip so less busy than most bars. The games are free to play and the atmosphere and decor are AWESOME. It is Stranger Things themed, which everyone loves! Drinks are reasonably priced too. They need to open one up here in Clearwater FL, please!!

If you are even the slightest bit of nerd, or ever played arcade games as a child, you will love this place. Unlimited play, no quarters required. multiple Refreshing, tasty beer on tap. The giant wall of cassette tapes adds to the nostalgia feel. The place is very whimsical with us unique decor. Make sure to make your way to the second floor for another bar and more games. I would love to come back for the next date night.

Cool place to feel like a kid again, between the old school video games and the nostalgic music it was a great time! Great photo opps. at their cassette wall and floppy disk mural. Such stable childhood items repurposed as decor !! Also had a great mix of cocktails, beer and wine. Only complaints I had - some of the games weren't working or plugged in - and skee ball had no balls !

We stopped here as part of our peddle bus tour. It was such a vibe! I absolutely loved the aesthetic of the place. The arcade games, books hanging from the ceiling, the plants... And the oreo shots were the bomb!

Great Christmas decorations and atmosphere. Was here for a private company party where we had the second floor. The food was your typical bar food and the drinks were good. No complaints in that department. The reason they get a four is because there were two bar tenders for our group of 70+. The wait was really really long and the bar tenders were working as fast as they could. Kudos to them, but there should have been at least one more.

Excellent server from the waitress. Great deal: $15 for a burger, shot of bourbon and a beer. Games were fun, but I had thought there would be more. Several of the games had controllers that needed repair. The bar also charged for two games, which was weird (Aerosmith pinball and bubble hockey). It would have been nice given the amount of money we spent on good and drink to get tokens for free bubble hockey.
