The 15 Best Lunch Restaurants in Minneapolis | Eater Twin Cities

"Heal Mpls, which opened on N. Lyndale Avenue last summer, has a bevy of vegan dishes and smoothies available for lunch. The menu rotates, so keep an eye on Instagram or Facebook for updates, but expect fruit and veggie-rich dishes like creamy jerk chickpea chili, sweet potato hash, and banana chia seed pudding. Note that it’s closed on Sundays." - Justine Jones

The Best Restaurants for Vegan and Vegetarian Food in Minneapolis and St. Paul

"Heal Mpls, which opened in North Minneapolis last summer, serves vegan dishes, smoothies, and herbal supplements. Owner Sierra Carter also owns the Zen Bin, a self-care sanctuary and wellness collective, and the serene vibes carry over to the cafe, which is sunny and decorated with plants and vibrant murals. The menu rotates, so keep an eye on Instagram or Facebook for updates, but expect fruit and veggie-rich dishes like creamy jerk chickpea chili, sweet potato hash, and banana chia seed pudding." - Justine Jones, Eater Staff

Great smoothie selection. I had the tropical mama, and it was really tasty. I loved that it had a lot of different fruits and ingredients in it. The place is beautiful and perfect for working or hanging out.

Heal MPLS is a solid spot for plant-based dining. I had their nacho bowl with an iced strawberry matcha, and my husband had the taco bowl with the same drink. Both dishes complemented each other really well. For dessert, we tried the pumpkin bread, which tasted good, and the chia seed pudding, which definitely felt healthy. The atmosphere is pleasant, with nice decor and well-presented dishes. Everything here seems to be vegan, and it's a great option if you're looking for plant-based food in a cozy setting.

I stopped in Tuesday around noon to grab a bite and I’m so glad I did! There was only one person ahead of me in line so I didn’t have to wait too long to order or get my food. Rocky helped me out today and I’m so thankful for the hospitality. I ordered the north side nachos & a sea moss smoothie with blueberries and mango. The nachos were loaded so there was something in every bite. The smoothie wasn’t too sweet and I really liked it. The playlist is fire and the vibes are unmatched. With a spacious parking lot on the same block i didn’t have to worry about parking on the street or a block or so away. I’m glad HEAL is here in our community by us, for us.

The food was AMAZING. I was apprehensive about cheese-less tacos/nachos but once I started eating, I didn't even think about it. The portions were also pretty large. I highly recommend the nachos. We got nachos, sweet potato hash, and tacos. The jerk mushrooms were fantastic. Highly recommend the Princess Love tacos

PLANT BASED YOU CAN LOVE- You gotta get a smoothie- Community is the heart of this business and that is not just talk. There are shelves of community partnership rocking the waiting area with local made spices and drinks, POP-Up events, and an apothecary section of fresh healing herbs. There is NOTHING LIKE IT in North and it is a welcome twist. Black owned is cool and worth supporting, yet there is more to the story of uniting together to be plant based and the building of community is deep rooted. PS: Give yourself time to get your order. This is a micro business so they are just figuring it out- be patient- the person that took your order is then going back in the kitchen to COOK your order. sometimes they run out of supplies so just adjust to what is available. They will make something GREAT and they will make it to order. PLUS they have a variety of oracle cards to give yourself a reading while you wait for the magic. Passion- forward

This is a gem. When you walk in you get all the positive vibes from the affirmations on the wall and the music playing in the background. Love their intentional menu and drinks. Service was great. I would definitely recommend. The food was flavorful and didn’t leave me feeling heavy. The drinks were refreshing. Everything about this place is just lovely.

Stopped in to play RNBingo and can’t wait to return. I love all the greenery and positive affirmations all around. Birria tacos are flavorful and teas are tasty. Nice that there’s parking in the back as well.

Woww! I am extremely excited to support. First I would want to give a humongous shoutout to my girl Jewel, who was working in here for the sea moss workshop. Oh my it was amazing! This place is a safe space to eat, hang back, chat Ect. I have to say. Jewel is so kind, Down to earth, humble, caring and most importantly loving. This place was a great vibe and definitely calming indeed. All the staff here was so supportive as well. I Loved how they do business. You all are rockstars. Remember folks. When you are supporting a business, you are supporting a dream. I will give this place a 100/100 it’s worth the pop up. Stay encouraged folks. Congratulations to you all, Madd Support!
