It used the be way more fresh. I order once a week and for the past couple months noticed the quality just goes downhill. The cherry tomato’s are bad! Always! Black spots on them always… some are cut and some are whole. Guys were eating leftovers. Same with the carrots! Black edges always. Brown avocados as well. Plus a lot of the time they don’t wash their lettuce good I’ve had a bug in it. Just awful quality

My wife and I are first-time customers at Health Nut restaurant. We typically make this Woodland Hills center our first stop when traveling from Orange County to the Central Coast every other month. I have always parked by Starbucks and patronized the businesses on the West end of this shopping center. When my typical parking area was full, I continued driving toward Bristol Farms, I found a parking spot which was in front of Health Nut. When I looked inside and saw the enclosed patio and how nice the restaurant was, we ordered a Chinese chicken salad, an Avocado tuna sandwich, and a Watermelon Pineapple Mela beverage. We loved this clean, modern restaurant with its friendly staff and outstanding food. This will be our new first stop on our travels to the Central Coast.

I wanted something light and healthy for lunch. I was in the area and saw this place. I asked the young lady behind the counter what she recommended and decided on their Chinese Chicken Salad. It came with sesame dressing. The dressing had just the right amount of tang to it and the ingredients were fresh. It was really good. The other items on the menu looked good too. I'm going to have to try them another time. Well lighted and pleasant simple atmosphere. If you're looking for a healthy meal that won't disappoint, try this place. Oh, yeah... very clean and helpful employees too.

We stopped at this restaurant on our way from Hidden Hills to Los Angeles. We are not vegetarians but we like healthy food and this restaurant is very popular with the locals. You can choose from different variations of salads with meat, without meat, with fish, various dressings, interesting drinks. You can eat in restaurant or take your food with you. Despite many people ordering food, we didn't wait long. The staff was very nice. We tried Spicey Ricey, Lettuce wrap, tuna sandwich and Chinese chicken salad (Kardashians favorite choice). I ordered the Cobb salad w no bacon, add avocado, and the dressing tossed w the salad, to go, as I live very close to the restaurant location. The salad and a small lemonade totaled just over $26. I was very surprised when I got home and took the salad bowl out of the bag, and opened the lid. It was a big pile of lettuce in the bowl, and all the chicken and fixings clumped together w the dressing on one side of the bowl. The lettuce was dry w no dressing tossed on it. Whoever made the salad literally took no care in preparing the salad. You'd think that for a $20+ salad, they would actually take some care and pride in preparing it. This was my second visit to this location, and while my first visit was "okay," this visit was extremely disappointing after spending $26! I will not go back a third time, nor would I recommend this place.

This place just makes you want to eat healthy. My favorite is the spring rolls just adding avocado. Today I tried their chicken salad sandwich & it's soooo tasty! I have also have had their tuna & spicy tuna sandwich. They were also quite good. Happy customer!

I’m a vegetarian and love coming here. Well all that changed today, I was looking forward to place my order when the individual with dyed blonde hair in the picture turned around and made a joke about me to the other girls. The other girls looked at her and looked at me. When I saw their face expressions I’m like who would trust this service with your food so I decided to turn around and leave. I would like the Manager of this Restaurant to let met know what type of service is that of person bullying a recurrent customer.

After recommendations from friends and wanting to try a new spot for lunch, I finally remembered to try out Health Nut! I can't believe I've never been... this is a very ME place! Healthy, fresh, and quick - that's my jam. The Tuna Avocado salad is what caught my eye and I opted for the lo-cal dressing. No regrets whatsoever. Ordering via their website was an absolute BREEZE! My order was ready and pick up was just as easy. The salad: fresh and tasty! Lots of fresh romaine lettuce, sprouts galore (I LOVE sprouts), crunchy sunflower seeds, a few grape tomatoes (I wish there were more), and ONE scoop of tuna. This is where this salad fell short... It either needs 2 scoops of tuna or a larger single scoop. It felt skimpy. I would also request extra tomatoes and add cucumbers to give it a bit more oomph. Unfortunately, with the changes I'd like to make, my salad will go from $17 to $25 :/. The dressing: that lo-cal dressing is IMPRESSIVE! I'm all about a DELICIOUS dressing that's low in calories (15 cal per ounce!!) to offset that calorie-dense tuna salad. Service: friendly and efficient! Cleanliness: IMPECCABLE Seating: plentiful... lots of seating in the patio and tons inside.

First time ordering from here and it was delicious. I got there salmon poke bowl. It was good huge serving but not a lot of salmon poke, mostly mixed greens. The tomato bisque was good but I wouldn't really call it a bisque it didn't have the consistency of a bisque but it was still good. I look forward to trying more items on their menu in the future. So far here are the salads I've tried: Chinese Chicken - the lowest calorie salad on the menu. It's simple, not a ton of ingredients but the pickled ginger in it packs a punch of flavor and I think it's a great addition. This is a very light salad, even the sesame dressing somehow feels light. Tuna and Egg Salad - this one is so good. The house dressing it comes with is delicious. The combination of ingredients is genius. Chicken salad - I think the chicken in here is whipped with mayo and carrots? It's one of those salads that have you thinking "how can something be so delicious yet low in calories?" They're busy during the lunch hours but not too busy that it's slow service. I order on the app for pick-up and it's always ready for me when I get there. Plenty of seating if you want to eat in. It's located in a plaza with a grocery store, coffee shop etc and parking is not an issue.

Food is always good. Usually have just salad but had the wrap with chicken. Was delicious! . Service was good order was ready for pick up when it said it would be ready. Restaurant is always clean. Gr

The salads are always fresh and super filling. My favorites are the tuna and chicken salad. I've never eaten in but have used pick up and have had a great experience. Employees seem to be really nice. My fave salad spot!!!

My favorite lunch spot!!! I go once or twice a week and it's always amazing! Jessica and Amy are always super friendly (and everyone else who has helped me too), and the food is always so fresh and delicious.... the mangotinis, yum!! ! I never get tired of it! It's the best!!!

I ordered the chicken salad sando with a chinese chicken salad. The sandwich was on the small side for $10. Though small, it was pretty good. I actually liked it. I did find that it was under seasoned and a little bland. But still good. The chinese chicken salad was a total miss. Not sure, but the chicken was salty and bland. The dressing wasn't great. Although, they do give you a lot of salad for $13.25. There's nothing in this salad that indicates it's a chinese chicken salad except for the fried chow mein noodles. They didn't even put green onions or mandarin oranges. I will not be getting this again. With Mendocino a few stores away, I think I would rather go there if I wanted a sandwich.

I tried this place for the first time and am already excited to go back! This spot is very healthy and delicious! They have a bunch of different salads and sandwiches to choose from. I tried their spring rolls and noodlerama and both were so good! They have multiple locations in LA whether you're in the valley or South Bay. The Woodland Hills location has lots of free parking in the lot in front of the place. There are lots of tables inside and outside the restaurant. This is a good place for dining in and taking out because you order at the front and pick it up when the food is ready. The staff was nice and friendly. I would recommend this place to other people.

Clean and simple spot perfect for a healthy meal. I ordered the chinese chicken salad and my food was ready in no time. The salad itself comes with a hefty portion and all of the ingredients are very fresh. I have tried chinese chicken salads from other restaurants and can't say that this is the most magnificent salad I've ever tried. It's a good salad but I think the amount of people raving about it is a bit excessive lol. I'm curious to try their other offerings.

The food here is fairly good, if not somewhat plain. They are inconsistent with protein portions though; $18.50+ is kind of an insane price to charge for spring roles with hardly a smear of tuna in them (this was pretty disappointing today). I would eat here more often if it were a better value overall, but for now it'll have to be in a pinch when I want something simple and healthy -- and I'd have to make sure they actually include the tuna next time. Heads up that they're closed on Sundays.

I was so excited to come here because I haven't had health nut in a while. I have never been disappointed until today. There was half the amount of lettuce there usually is, I had literally 4 pieces of tomatoes, and hardly any cucumbers that they charged me for. I don't live around the corner or else I would have gone back to show them. Considering I am paying $17.85 for my salad, you would think there is more substance to it.

Went to Health Nut night at 7:15 pm to order dinner. Got a salad for myself and a Panini for my boyfriend. We asked if we could sit inside as we knew they were closing at 7:30 pm. They were already putting all the chairs on top of the tables and said that we could sit down at the ice cream store. Seriously? We were appalled We sat outside anyway on Health Nuts patio to try to gobble down our meal . At about 7:35 pm the employees started flickering the lights inside. My boyfriend tried to get an extra salad dressing for my salad, but they said please don't come in, we are mopping the floors. Also, I don't know if it was it because it was 7:20 pm, but there were no napkins or silverware out so you have to ask for it. It's the only establishment I've gone into to where you can't get a napkin on your own. At 7:40 pm the employees asked us to leave. So we did. I was not finished with my salad. My opinion is if you're going to be open until 7:30 pm serving food, the restaurant should be open at least another half hour if even just the outside patio so people can finish their food. It was a horrible experience and I will never go back

There is a lot of hype for this place for us since so many people referred us here and expectations were met! When you first enter the place, you can definitely tell their focus is health based on the color scheme and the minimalist environment. Service was also friendly and helpful. We got the egg sandwich, spring rolls, and quinoa salad. All of them packed a lot of flavor and you get a lot of food for what you pay. Everything was fresh and it tasted great. Overall, if you're in the area and want something fresh and filling, this is your spot that won't break the bank!

Ordered a BLT sandwich and was severely underwhelmed. The bread was dry to me and it tastes overall pretty bland. I was disappointed that the bacon portion was in the form of bacon bits...just didn't provide any savory type flavor and the lettuce portion consisted of a couple thin slices. I'm sorry to say that I couldn't even finish my sandwich, I was disappointed in both flavor and presentation. I can't speak on the other items on their menu, but i don't recommend the BLT.

The iconic Kardashian salad! My boyfriend and I enjoyed it very much. We had a Chinese Chicken Salad and Tuna Sandwich. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. The place was also very nice and clean. Would definitely recommend checking them out!

One of my fave spots for lunch. The salads, soups and sandwiches are so simple yet so fresh & delicious! My go to order is a noodlerama with chicken or tuna and a mango iced greentini. The asian dressing is perfection. The service is also something I appreciate very much! Tara and Caitlin are so kind and go above and beyond to ensure my experiences are pleasant. Give them a visit!!!

Still just as great as the first time that I tried it! I tried the noodlerama today and it was fantastic!! My favorite salad spot! They are always so fresh and tasty. The noodlerama had kick to it with the spicy asian dressing! I'll keep updating you all on all the salads I try! Service is always fantastic even through the grub hub portal they have on yelp. This place is insane. I'm not usually eating healthy things but everything I've tried. Here was beyond delicious. Orgasmic and healthy at the same time. And it's weird that it's not that expensive either. I had a tuna sandwich first time and then some tuna rolls the second time and they were so bomb

I used to love the Chinese Chicken Salad here. But my orders over the last year have been sub-par, as if corners are being cut. The chicken portion was skimpy, and it wasn't tender and fresh tasting. The formerly DELICIOUS salad dressing had minimal flavor. Kind of a bummer - HN used to be a go-to for me.

I used to love health nut. The Chinese chicken salad with half spicy, half house dressing is my go to. Never again after what I found in my last bite. The quality has gone down the past few months and now this big ass moth or bug or whatever it is. Are they not washing the lettuce? Something this big how did it get missed? Look at the size compared to my fork. And that's after it soaked up dressing and got tossed around.

I used to love the chicken noodle soup. I've ordered over a dozen times. I've been very disappointed and hungry with the decline in this dish and the portion of chicken that is provided. This is the first time I had felt this way I had noticed a lesser supply of the chicken but a half a year end of ordering here and then going all together. Last few times I've ordered I've thought to myself this isn't worth it.

I was considering giving Health Nut another try after saying I'd never be back. Probably just because I remember how it USED TO BE. But after reading more recent reviews, the decline in average stars, and the continuous apologies from the restaurant and/or social media manager, I'm going to have to pass. It really is a shame what became of this place once they brought in their "partners."

Always great salads and wonderful fresh drinks. I would recommend in a heart beat. You can't go wrong with anything on the menus.

Ordered from GrubHub. Got extra turkey and avocado. I see no evidence of the "extra" part. I found the total amount of extra avocado included in the photo of this review. They charged me $4 for that amount? Additionally, no sauce was included in my sandwich, no mayo, no mustard, nothing. Will not be ordering here again, for I do not feel I got my money's worth at all. No sauce, no flavor, no extra of anything I ordered.

Recently moved to the Calabasas area and was so excited to try Health Nut and it did not disappoint!! The noodle soup is so delicious and everything tastes so healthy I don't feel bad about splurging a little bit. Workers Tina and Jessica are so delightful and pretty, its a joy when I see them while I'm ordering at the front. This is definitely an establishment that cares about quality representatives and I will definitely be a frequent costumer. p.s. If you guys could add a healthy pho soup with beef to the menu I would actually pass away.

This place just isn't the same. I used to love this place pre pandemic but quality has gone down in terms of food. The tuna salad is fishy and salty. And I'm really surprised that they use soybean oil in their dressings, which is very unhealthy. I ordered here recently bc it's close and I was short on time. I always get the quinoa kale salad and add my own dressing. There was dirt on my greens. So clearly they don't even wash the produce which is extremely scary considering all the pesticides and crap that's sprayed on crops. And there was a huge clump of dirt, not like hidden between a crevice or something. I do like the mango green tea and will get that once in a while. I just wish healthnut really cared about our health. With a few tweaks, it could be a great, healthy option.

I'll be honest that the salads are pretty simple but I always enjoy them. I usually get the Noodlerama salad which is my favorite. They do seem to be skimping on the dressing though. Only once did they mess up on my order and I had to drive back, which was an inconvenience, but they were willing to remake the salad quickly.

The BEST!! Every time I come back to the valley, I immediately head to this place. They are generous with their portion sizes and everything is fresh. Excellent service as well!

The chicken salad is amazing but my friend ordered the tuna wrap and it was disgusting. Not sure what happened? Perhaps a one off experience - but she will for sure not be trying this place again. I ordered my meal through a delivery app and was refunded for the meal we did not eat (we sent pics as well).

The famous salad I had to try it with the greentini and it was so good. I love a nice refreshing drink with a salad. They have the best dressings and I can't wait to try more of their menu. BUT.... (( I really hope they open a place up in Las Vegas it is unfortunate that I could only get this 4 hours away from home. ))

Not sure why this place is so popular, it's barely on the radar of mediocrity. Tuna is okay, but literally tastes like something anyone ga make at home. I wish they'd amp up their menu and options to more fun, seasonal, and veg-heavy options. Some fresh grilled chicken would be nice too.

This was a delivery so idk about parking or bathrooms. Easy gluten free options. I had the noodlerama and added more chicken to bump the protein value. You can find the nutrition fact list for all their food online. Which is wonderful that it's available. It was tasty and the spicy dressing was delicious. Warning that the dressing is 90 calories per a third of the dressing packet! The chicken could use more seasoning. But you can tell it was cleanly made. Nothing really added to it. The ginger was a delicious addition to the bowl! I love rice noodles or else I would have gotten the protein bowl, it had more add-ons. The iceberg lettuce was not cut-so it looked pretty but it was annoying to try and eat with the noodles. Overall pretty decent. Not overwhelmingly delicious but satiating. Also the portions are really big which is always nice given the price is decently low. Also-it looks beautiful! Definitely "eating the rainbow" if you follow that nutritional lifestyle.

I am health conscientious and I was disturbed by this place. It doesn't sound like they really care about your health, but might instead be greenwashing folks. Health Nut, if you really care about your client's health, why are you still using plastic container packaging. Further why are you heating up your soups in PLASTIC FOOD BAGS? Yes folks I confirmed, the soup actually is in a heated plastic food bag before it gets to you. I decided to go with a sandwich and salad combo. It was the most mediocre sandwich I've ever had, and the most bland salad I've ever had. Also the staff was rushing closing (I went in an hour and a half before closing). She was spraying down every single surface and not being mindful about where she was spraying. When I felt the spritz from the bottle, I had to leave. I didn't finish my food. Oh well.

Overpriced and boring salads. The dressings are not bad. The salads are straight out of 1977. Old school ' health food' . Spent 20 on a pile of lettuce with a little cold chicken some ginger out of a jar and 2 Oz of avocado, oh and some shredded carrots like you get in the grocery store. The location is nice and I believe that is the excuse for the inflated prices.

Ordered through postmates and the order got delayed by the restaurant for over an hour! When the food finally came there was shredded chicken in the box of my tuna melt. All three paninis were barely edible. First and last time ordering from them.

The salads are very simple but they are very good. They have a good service and I really love their salads. They also have parking and anything you get would be good. It all depends what kind of salad and dressing you decide on your salad. They are huge and filling portions.

Super healthy spot offering up healthy options like big salads and wraps, perfect for LA. Easy parking lot (this outdoor shopping center is vast), easy online ordering system (they don't take phone take-out orders) and friendly customer service. While my Mom got a salad with a scoop of Tuna, I got a Tuna Lettuce Wrap (4 Stars), which was a little on the bland side, but add a little of their apple cider vinegar dressing to it for more of a punch. The tuna salad is made perfectly (without onions, thank you) and is quite delicious. I'll definitely be back to eat through more of this menu when I'm craving a healthy and clean option and love the menu offerings.

Probably will come back after my lent but $20 for a sandwich with 3 types of greens and no other offerings are ridiculous. They should have if menu of the items you can add but they don't.

Good tuna sandwich but they always screw up the order. Last three times I've been there they have screwed up our order. Can't reach anyone over the phone to let them know. If you go here, make sure to check your order before you leave. If you ask for a side of house dressing, or order/pay for avocado on your sandwich, there is a good chance they do not include it.

Healthnut is an oasis of freshness in the heart of the Calabasas. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with vibrant colors, inviting aromas, and a friendly atmosphere. Their salads provide bursts of flavors and nourishment. Highly recommended!!!

Stopped by here for lunch on my way through the area. Had the turkey avocado melt and it came with a salad. Felt very healthy and the portions were a decent size. Not too filling but not too little either. Inside is nice and clean as well.

Health Nut * I've heard the noise about Health Nut and finally had some time to check it out. It's a really nice area with plenty of parking. There's a good amount of outdoor and indoor seating with the interior being well decorated and extremely clean. * I would like to highlight the manager, Denzel, for being such a friendly and welcoming presence. I explained to him that it was my first time at Health Nut and he took the time to explain how they have their produce delivered fresh daily and how everything is prepared with healthy ingredients. Before he gave me some recommendations, he made sure to ask me for any allergies, which I really appreciated. * With Denzel's recommendation, I ordered the Noodlerama with avocado and Spicy Tuna Panini along with a small Mango Iced Greentini to combat the triple degree weather forecast. I was very happy with how gigantic the portions were for their salads. This salad had some noodles inside which made for an interesting fusion taste. The spicy tuna panini was pretty spicy but honestly really good as it came out hot and fresh. I will definitely be back. The food along with Denzel and his staff were terrific.

I ordered an egg salad sandwich on a sourdough bread. I asked for no tomato. I got the sandwich with dry old bread and extra tomatoes. I used to love this place but it's been not good for the last few times I've been there.

Stopped for a salad but ended up getting a tuna sandwich which included sprouts & tomato well worth the 10$ I added a drink amd side salad for $8.95 Total came to just over 20$ was very good iced tea amd side salad, was offer fresh squeezed lemon juice for the tea which topped it off. Wanted to leave cash tip but cash payment not accepted couldn't break a 20$. Not sure if these companies not accepting cash realize it's buying their employees tips. Would come back again.
