just discovered the most adorable ice cream shop in Brooklyn - Heaps ice cream shop. As soon as I stepped inside, I was greeted with a super welcoming vibe and a cute retro look that instantly put me in a good mood. The outdoor seating area was a lovely bonus, perfect for enjoying my treat on a nice day. Now, let's talk about the ice cream - oh boy, they have a ton of flavors to choose from! I was a bit overwhelmed, but in a good way. However, I did notice that some of the flavors had a bit of an odd aftertaste, which was slightly disappointing. The service at Heaps was top-notch, the staff were friendly and helpful, which made the experience even more enjoyable. But, be prepared for a bit of a splurge, as the prices are on the higher side. Despite the expensive price range, I would still recommend Heaps to anyone with a sweet tooth. The unique feature of outdoor seating and the variety of ice cream flavors make it a great spot to grab a sweet treat and hang out with friends or family. Overall, Heaps is a great spot to satisfy your ice cream cravings, and I'm already planning my next visit!

Loved this ice cream shop! Staff was very friendly and helpful. I loved the variety of flavors…not so many that it was overwhelming, but some really unique flavors in addition to the classics. I ended up getting the Mango Sticky Rice, which I recommend. I also really appreciate the wholesome offer of getting a free scoop when you bring in a trophy. Such a cute idea! And free scoop on your birthday too.

Good ice cream, if a bit too sweet. Would have loved the flavours to stand out a bit more amongst the creamy sweetness. It was really nice that they made our waffle cone on the spot but it was a bit too lightly toasted and because it was warm the ice cream also melted quicker. Will clme back to try more flavours!

Small ice cream shop selling scoops, cones, shakes, ice cream sandwiches and ice cream sushi. I tried both Smash the Candy Bag and Chocolate Chocolate and loved them but really loved the plain chocolate.

Today is National Ice Cream Day. It was too hot to stand in line for the free ice cream at 11:30 AM in the morning but just right for their three dollar cone or cup special during the late afternoon! This cozy ice cream shop offers creative flavors, flavorful, ice cream, and a friendly staff! They’ve done an exceptional job, providing an array of outdoor benches on which to sit and eat. We both had banana cream pudding ice cream. Am looking forward to trying more flavors!

They were bold to open up coming into Winter 2024, but I'm glad they made it! The staff is nice and patient with the amount of flavors they have. Our favorite is the banana cream pie and cookies & cookie dough. They also have ice cream cakes that I can't wait to try for a special occasion and fun sushi shaped ice cream.

So, we ran into this place after dinner and had to try it out! Great local family place! It was very crowded at the outside seating. This made us have to go inside and see what was being served. The Thai ice tea and mango sticky rice are flavors beyond the average. Of course we tried both and the vegan option they had available. This ice cream parlor has been added into our rotation of dessert stops for the summer.

We went tonight for their soft opening and were impressed by their wide variety of creative flavors including banana pudding , mango sticky rice, and strop waffle! The banana pudding is a personal favorite. We liked the ice cream so much, my husband and I went back in for ice cream to take home! As we were leaving we met the owner who is super friendly and passionate about ice cream. 🍦 Hoping Heap’s has a long and prosperous life ahead of it!

i've been here 4 times now. this is easily my and my kids favorite icecream in park slope! extremely creamy with great flavors. my wife used to work and blue marble and refused to eat anywhere else and even she loves this place. this time i opted to try their sushi-shaped mochi icecream sandwich. i didn't know what to expect. no surprise, it was amazing.

Tried it a couple times because of the reviews, but I really don't know what to think of this place. When you order a pint to go, they only give you a 14oz cup. Considering how much a pint costs, it's a considerable shaving. Aside from this, they did not have the flavor I wanted the first time (and was not available the second time as well) and sent me a completely wrong pint of ice cream today instead of calling me to confirm, exchange, etc. Pretty disappointing after a long week.

Cute little ice cream shop with a green retro theme. There are a few stool seats inside and some additional seating outside. I ordered a topping of gummy bears and they gave it to me separately in a cup. Nothing really groundbreaking about it but it's a definitely worth a visit if you're craving ice cream. Good portions.

Fire!! Got a strawberries and cream ice cream sandwich on a snowy day. The cookie was good, the ice cream was delicious the ice cream man was super nice and vibes were yummy.

Exceptional local ice cream and a charming neighborhood treasure. It's green interior and outdoor bench seating makes it super welcoming for all ages. From the moment I walked in the friendly owners greeted me with genuine warmth and enthusiasm. Their creativity shines not only in their seasonal flavors, but also in their unique treats, like their adorable ice cream sushi The ice cream itself is rich, smooth, and crafted in small batches with high-quality ingredients. I tried the candy bag smash seasonal autumn flavor that I loved and would come back for. I would say this is a great place to bring your friends, kids, loved ones on any day. They're open late even on the weekdays!!

Since before their grand opening, I have been drawn here every week, bringing a new friend or 3 with me each time. It is delicious. I seem to get a new flavor each time and I cannot choose which is best. They are all excellent. You cannot go wrong. The outdoor seating is ample and there are often good dogs walking by. 10/10 on all levels. This visit, I purchased a coke from the deli across the street and make a black cow with two scoops of their vanilla ice cream. So good.

Great new spot in the center of the neighborhood! Delicious ice cream, welcoming staff, sweet little benches to hang out on outside - totally inviting. Thank goodness it's ice cream and not another nail salon, real estate office, or bank. Welcome, Heap's!

I stopped in to Heap's Ice Cream to sample their goods. It was my fourth attempt getting there because of construction delays. I took a cup of Banana Caramel Bourbon to go, and I ate it in the privacy of my home. My first reaction was Dayum! This is serious gourmet sh*t. I'm sorry that I didn't purchase a pint. $7.08 for a small cup of Gelato is steep, but in this case It was worth it.

Love this place. Great location, cute neighborhood shop. And yes, fantastically delicious ice cream and cool flavors. Get the mango sticky rice.

Always nice to see a new locally owned business in the neighborhood.. and it doesn't hurt that the ice cream is delicious. The cookies & cookie dough and the banana pudding ice cream are my favorites.

Terrific new ice cream parlor, with welcoming service and a super cute shop. More importantly, the ice cream is delicious. Loved the banana bourbon caramel. Anyway, best ice cream in the neighborhood, by far.

Amazing addition to the neighborhood! The ice cream is perfectly creamy and very flavorful, truly some of the best I've had in NYC. The space is so cute and the staff are lovely. I will definitely be back!
