"This speakeasy-style spot offers live music and food just outside the stadium. Stop in for a Southern meal with dishes including shrimp and corn chowder, blackened salmon, and loads of steaks. This sophisticated spot has lots of velvet touches and Art Deco-style fonts, with iron elements that harken back to the days when being caught in a speakeasy meant easy jail time. It also has a cigar bar and patio." - Courtney E. Smith

Me and my date arrived around 8:30 p.m. and once we arrived and seated we waited about 20 minutes before our order was taken. We tried to place our drink order but they were out of both of the beers that we requested so we just had the water at table. The Valentine special was explained that you could have one appetizer, one soup/salad, and one entree for $70. We waited about 20 minutes before our appetizer the calamari arrived and it was lukewarm. We waited about another 20 minutes to see our server to put in our soup/salad option: the lobster bisque. The lights in the building were going in and out and the longer we waited the more we missed the band that was performing, which was part of the planned date. The bisque took another 15-20 to arrived and arrived cold with a skin that formed on top of the soup from sitting there. We ordered the cabbage and noticed that everyone around us received their food, which was also cold, before us. Highly disappointed we pay for the advertiser in left to order a pizza at home. Probably the worst experience I've had a restaurant after putting so much thought and intention on planning a perfect Valentine's date. Probably will only be back for the band and a drink at the bar, it wasn't worth the $70 that was going to be spent.

Spectacular venue for drinks, hanging, and live music! The drinks were expertly crafted and many seating options were key! Service was spot-on. The band, "Beauty Industry," wasn't your typical group. They rocked Saxophones, Guitar, Bass, and Drums - and top-notch playing made for a varied sound while we chilled! They jammed to soul, funk, pop, rock and country! Really got the crowd dancing! Every bit as stunning as the best in Vegas - Hearsay is our new go-to lounge in DFW!

This place was hands down really awesome. 1. The decor when you first walk in is very nice. When you get to the main Lounge area of the decor is good in there as well. 2. We were seated at our table and enjoy all of the good live music. The Marcus Rockwell trio played some great hits. We plan on being there when they come back. 3. The food choices were very nice as well. Everything was seasoned very well. The food came out hot and in a timely manner. The only thing that was okay was the New York strip. It seemed like it was only season at the top. We also had the pork chops, lobster mac and cheese, asparagus in the sweet potatoes that come with the pork chops. The alligator as an appetizer was perfect. Hands down the best alligator I've had. The bartender is also doing a good job because he wasn't stingy on the liquor. 4. Overall I really like this place because this is a diverse restaurant and everybody really enjoyed all the music.

Google
Very unique restaurant establishment. Went on a slow night. No live band playing (that's on the weekends). Service was pleasant. Food was perfectly cooked. Order the bread rolls. So good! They also have a cigar walk-in humidor. The cigar smoking area is located outside overlooking the field. Was also told the menu will slightly change seasonally.

Google
Talk about top notch this it it !!!!!! We went there for NYE. I must admit we arrived there a tad bit early but it was all good. We had very good choice of sitting and we selected the front seating area which turned out to be the best seat in the house. We could observe everything from our seat. The live band really put on a amazing show. They set the standard for any band that comes after them. * Although I pray they are the house band* if not why not? But any who, I digressed for a minute. The food was absolutely the best. I truly enjoyed the Prime Rib. This establishment is definitely for the grown and sexy, you will not be disappointed. I can't wait to go back !!!!!! See you there !!!!!!

This centrally location speakeasy is just what the doctor ordered! Huge selection of wine, the decor was fabulous, very clean, very considerate and knowledgeable staff. They have jazz band play every Friday and some other nights. A cigar room that didn't look but half stocked. The outside section was awesome to view the old Rangers stadium. You will spend a pretty penny but there are options for the those who don't want to spend much. The cheesecake was 10$ and so worth it! Everything seem slightly bigger portions so that's why the prices to me seem fair and oh does it all taste good! Great for a date or business hang out. Will definitely be going back!

Google
Such a beautiful, empty place. The band was great while performing to a very sparce room on a Saturday night. The service was poor, the food was bland, overpriced and not prepared well. I really wanted this place to be an amazing birthday experience. Thank goodness I was with my girls. We can do anything even make a bad place a good time. I would love to see Hearsay survive and thrive. Maybe a new chef, proper training for staff and giving patrons the option of eating in the lounge while watching and enjoying the wonderful music would help. Just a suggestion.

Google
The aesthetics of the restaurant is amazing. However they are severely understaffed. My glass of wine was a different size from my friend who also ordered wine. My appetizer (fried calamari) was cold. Took almost 45 minutes to receive an espresso martini. However the band was amazing 10/10!

Yelp
I came to Hearsay tonight with friends to celebrate another year. The ambiance and decor were top notch. We had the alligator, catfish, greens, and sea bass. I thought the food was ok. We went to the lounge area afterwards. The band ntense was really good. The drinks are tasty and strong. Ambiance and decor - 10 Food - 5 Drinks - 7 Live band - 9

Kimberly W.

Yelp
Beautiful venue, enjoyable music, and friendly customer service. Drinks are great, but.....my food was terrible. I ordered the seafood shrimp chowder. Absolutely NO taste to it, VERY bland. The shrimp were clearly frozen and then overcooked and the corn was not fresh, and lastly the creamy soup had ZERO flavor to it. Please fix this! Great potential.

Yelp
If I could just give a Meh.... but it wouldnt be fair to the reader or restaurant. This place is in a perfect location and the ascetics are stunning. We had already eaten so just wanted a few appetizers but the waitress told us the kitchen was closed. Then a couple sat next to us and had menus to handed to them by another waiter. They attempted to order and our bartender told them the kitchen was closed. The couple said the other bartender told them different but our bartender took the menus. After a few back and forths the other bartender apologized to them but made sure they still got food. Yep... Then the band that had been advertised was not there so we were dissapointed at that but there was still a band. We know things happen. Then my wife ordered gin and ginger ale and the bartender brought her coke and sprite mixed in gin. Then she explained they didn't have ginger ale but "its the same thing". My wife asked for sprite and gin bc she didnt like coke and sprite. We're pretty forgiving especially when we go out because we go for the service primarily anyways and not to have to cook for ourselves. After not being able to eat but watch someone else get a fresh meal in front of us, voluntarily add something to the drink without explaining before the bartender then decided to clean while we sit and enjoy the band. With a sanitation bucket on the bar and it wasnt closing time. It was just a little after 10pm on a Friday. Check out the pic I've added to this post. Now while all of this has happened I STILL recommend trying this place out because the potential is there. You may experience something different. I mainly post so that business owners can be aware of their opportunities. Please check this place out. I hope your experience is better than ours.

Yelp
Overall: This is a nicely decorated place. I would definitely recommend this if you have a big group. There's plenty of seating and a dance floor. Was disappointed that there was no band (check their site to see when they're scheduled) especially since the music that was playing went back more than a few decades. Service and ambiance were cool. Although I'm not a fan, I think it's worth a try. Oh! Be prepared to pay $25 for valet even though they park your car 20 ft away. Overall Rating: 7/10 What I Got + Ratings: - Lamb chops: very juicy, could've been seasoned more but they are tender. 7/10 - Fried okra (comes with the chops): this was good! 8/10 - Sweet potatoes: were okay, lean toward the sweeter side, which is good but don't stand out. 7/10 - Greens: not my favorite, taste likely they used a lot of canned pepper juice. They're watery and could use more flavor. 6/10

Yelp
Drinks are great, food is pricey and disappointing. I had the blackened salmon, it tasted fatty. Red beans and rice and collard greens watery and bland. Drinks and band get 2 thumbs up, everything else, not so much.

Antonio C.

Yelp
The facilities are nice the music is good, the service is God awful the food is bad also. You are not supposed to be able to pick up grits like a pan cake I'm just saying. Took an hr for drinks to come and another 50 mins for food and the place wasn't even packed. We were seated at 6:45 pm and got food at 8:15. No excuse for having bad service. It's my birthday and it ruined my meal cause the food was so bad. Catfish was barely fried and loose. I won't be coming back for sure.

Chauncey M.

Yelp
We came to celebrate a birthday and had an amazing time!! The service was impeccable and the food was incredible. The live music made the evening unforgettable.

Levell T.

Yelp
After wanting to check this place out for a while, I was extremely disappointed in my experience. Had a group of coworkers and reservations for my party were made but unfortunately the management and service was some of the worst I've ever experienced. We had to flag someone down for service and a menu. There was no acknowledgement to us. However, the waitress who finally came over apologized for whatever was going, but after about 15-20 minutes not getting back with the lack of service, we decided to go to leave, but heard a familiar band and decided to just have drinks at the bar. Mind you, this was not a busy night, in comparison, I've received better service at Denny's before when crowded. The bar was no better. Something was off the entire night. A gentleman noticed my frustration as I was patiently waiting just to see if they would say something until he finally yelled at the tender take his order and then get mine. His exact words, "I know they see you". It was a true disappointment. The only reason I even got the drinks were to listen to at least some music after all of us were dressed up. Hopefully they get it together.

Yelp
Wow! What a fabulous gem! I have been living in the Arlington area for almost 20 years and never came across this fabulous Restaurant and Event Center. Hearsay is located in the Choctaw Baseball Stadium, formally known as Globe Life Field. This is a Fabulous Bar and Restaurant that also hosts live events. The staff are incredibly attentive and cheerful. Special shout out to our bartenders Cody and Zach as well as our server, Joel. Our group of 10 people had a fantastic time. The appetizers and main course were innovative, fresh and delicious ! I highly recommend!

Yelp
We had a large staff conference at Live! by Loews. I arranged reservations 4 weeks in advance for two parties of 10 on a Tuesday, after I finally was able to connect with the events manager via email. The restaurant never answered the phone, nor returned voicemails. When my groups arrived at 6:30pm, they were the only people in the restaurant and the venue was out of IPA, lamb chops, and only had a few steaks. People had to keep changing their order as the waiter would come back from the kitchen and say, we don't have any of that. They brought two meals out after everyone else was done eating, which were rejected due to the time. Our party had to go find food elsewhere after 2 hours of waiting. Those who received food: the salmon arrived cold, one steak ordered medium was completely rare, the alligator was overcooked, tough and chewy. The young inexperienced waiter attempted to make an espresso martini for the first table, which looked like chocolate milk with Baileys in it. The bartender finally arrived and made an espresso martini for someone at the second table that was correct. The GM said it was his 4th day and the waiter said it was his 1st week. When I contacted the events coordinator the next day, she was apologetic and asked for this in writing so she could take it to the owner. She then texted me 3 hours later and said she wais laid off, "due to them not being able to pay me." The only thing the venue comped were the two dinners rejected since the party was ready to leave by the time they arrived. If the mayor of Arlington owns this place, as the news stories say, I would love to speak with him.

Yelp
Jordan and Braxton were the absolute best! Their service was amazing! We showed up with a big party and they went above and beyond to accommodate.

Kim R.

Yelp
Very nice ambience to enjoy any celebration, including life!! This is the best Arlington has to offer!

Nicki P.

Yelp
I came here for a business dinner and being new to the area, I was impressed! What a fun, speakeasy style restaurant right in the entertainment district. The restaurant was fairly empty for a Wednesday evening, so we were seated right away. The wait staff was attentive and helpful in answering our menu questions. We ordered the Short Rib Poutine as an appetizer. WOW this is very good!! I got the blackened salmon for dinner and it was also very good! We ordered a couple desserts to share - the carrot cake and pecan pie. The carrot cake was incredible!! Nice, upscale restaurant which offers live music on the weekends.

Carolyn J.

Yelp
Food was great presentation. Drinks where strong. Ambiance quiet beautiful interior even had a band playing top hits . Service was great. Very Attentive service. I even got a birthday gift a fantastic cheese cake.

Christy N.

Yelp
Love the vibes of this place. Great for date night or dinner with the girls. I can't remember the drink I got but remember it was sweet and refreshing. The fried alligator was amazing as well as the duck. The duck had the right amount of flavor and texture.

Michael H.

Yelp
Food is fare other that the patio is nice in spring and fall not the summer foods, fair atmosphere fair

DaRon K.

Yelp
Great food and live band was AMAZING!!! smooth cocktails and the outdoor cigar patio gives this place the ultimate vibe!

Jamar A.

Yelp
Great place to relax with a great drink, love music, and a view of the field. Bartender Corey makes a great cognac old fashioned

Yelp
Reservations for the evening were booked, we were able to have a seat at the bar, which I'm glad we did! Once we ordered our food we were encouraged to walk around & see what else the venue had to offer. It was more than I imagined. So many dining options, a nice size patio and a beautiful lounge with live music! It's a vibe, it's beautiful and the food was great! Happy that we caught the opening of this restaurant, the staff were all lovely, you can tell they genuinely are anticipating providing great dining experiences. We will be back for more entertainment, more food, more views, and maybe even a cigar on the patio! BLACKENED SALMON entree was great, safe bet to order again, but I will probably try something else next visit just to make my way around this delicious sounding menu! LOBSTER MAC & CHEESE (not pictured with my review) Maine lobster, penne noodle, white truffle & 3 cheese blend Served w/ garlic bread loaf-- very good! If you're considering it.. get it! THE WEDGE Baby iceberg, heirloom tomato wedges, smoked onions, gorgonzola bleu cheese, bacon, and "The Boss" bleu cheese dressing- Nice start to my meal.

Pamela J.

Yelp
Doors opened at 6:30 but they were not ready for the guests therefore we had to wait about 15 min before someone came to check us in. The entertainment was awesome. The bathrooms were nasty from open to closing. I had to tell staff that the bathroom needed soap, tissue and paper towels. Some of the sink faucets did not work. Although there was a nice variety of food options at the buffet which was nicely set up, the taste of the food was bland in my opinion, and it was cold. Waitress could have been more attentive and consistent throughout the night with refilling water. I had to go to the bar to ask for water then a waitress told me they didn't have any clean glasses. However I got a glass of water when I asked someone else at the bar.

Jolyeah W.

Yelp
when I talk about this place, I rave! This place was amazing and I wish I came in enough time to hear the live music and live jazz. But either way the service was amazing. The food was amazing. The bartender was super nice. I came here the weekend of the Dallas versus Eagles game back in December 2023, the people that I've met. Here were perfect. definitely suggest checking this place out if you are in the area whether that be for a game or just a visit, this is definitely a place you don't wanna miss out on experiencing.

Nicole P.

Yelp
I came here for my high school reunion, and I came back for a friend's birthday. I love the ambiance here, the bar is amazing, and the food is great, too. For the birthday party, we all dressed up 1920s style, it was SO much fun. There was a piano player/singer performing background music that was just right, she had a beautiful voice. Such a nice experience!

Detrice M.

Yelp
What can I say? Want a good stick and calming view? What about delicious food and cocktails? Not your thing? Well the live music and jazz like lounge area could fit more of your mood.

Holly G.

Yelp
First time customer. Clean place lovely atmosphere however we went for the live music and there was none. We asked the waitress and she said she didn't know. Also speaking of our waitress she was kind but they had only two servers for the ENTIRE restaurant on a Friday night dinner service. Needless to say this caused delays with everything. Bc of the delays we were there for over 2hrs. Most of which was spent waiting. It took over 45 mins to get our food. About 15 mins to get our check. Add another 10 to get our change from paying the check. We were looking for a nice date night and got that to some degree but was disappointed in no live music and never being notified of it. (Yes we had a reservation) the hostess or someone should have mentioned it at some point. Also alllll the delays! Some people who were there left at the same time we did bc they did not get their food and it had been a long time. The pasta we ordered was like warm but we didn't want to send back bc took so long to get. The steak and Mac and cheese were great. Mashed potatoes not so much. Also the alligator bites were good when they finally came out but it took about 20 mins after we ordered them to get them. All in all we may try again but not so sure.

Yelp
Hearsay is a nice new pub/bar that opened up in Arlington, and it may quite possibly be one of the most expensive places in town. They are super nice, and it's located in the old Rangers Stadium (Choctaw Stadium), and once you get in, you take an elevator up to the restaurant. This place is majestic -- it kinda has a Great Gatsby kinda theme and it just looks expensive as you walk in. The walk-in area is very nicely set-up and the inside of the restaurant is extremely big. We went on a Tuesday evening and the place was rather empty. They asked if we had "reservations" and I was like this place is DEAD. Anyways, we just sat at the bar, and they have a very extensive alcohol menu. Anything from beer to hard liquor to cocktails to wines. They have everything. The bartender did say though that because they recently opened, they're still waiting for a lot of the liquor to come in. Fortunately, the drinks I wanted (Moscow Mule and Jim Beam Highball) were in and I was able to get my drinks just fine. Bartender was super chill and she knew like she knew her liquor pretty well. We also ordered some appetizers to share -- alligator bites and cheese curds. Okay, this was my first time trying alligator bites and I was a little skeptical at first, but my party and the bartender kept saying it's basically chicken. And they weren't wrong!! The alligator bites were amazing and I guess I was an alligator fan all along! Cheese curds on the other hand, didn't really feel like cheese curds -- they felt more like fried cheese or a cheese croquette. Cheese curds should be more stiff but the melted cheese felt like something that goes in a mozzarella stick. Nevertheless, we had a great time catching up and getting some drinks. I did take a peak at the food menu but that thing just looks too expensive for me to even look at. They are definitely fine dining, and I'm really curious as to who they are trying to cater to in the Arlington area. There was also live music playing and I felt bad because we were one of the few people there.. She was really good at singing and she was playing some classics as well. For me, it's more of a 3.5. I get the whole point of fine dining and stuff but you can get much more affordable food across the street at Texas Live and it's not like I can dine here every day with my salary. I will definitely come here whenever I want to feel classy and get some drinks, but I don't think I can afford to come here very often. However, as an Arlington resident, I do hope that they find their correct clientele and prosper!

Becky R.

Yelp
What a hidden gem! Beautiful bar and restaurant. Stopped in early for a quick drink so don't have a dinner experience but really enjoyed the vibe. Zach is a great bartender!

Ms B.

Yelp
Ambiance is very adult. The service was polite and the food was good. Drinks were made right. We had the catfish, greens and grits; smothered chicken, and bass and it was just not impressive but eatable but not the best meal ever for the price. The band was great entertainment and a perfect addition to to dinner.

Deanna B.

Yelp
I have been twice, and was unfortunately underwhelmed both visits. Both times I went, they didn't have multiple dishes on the menu that I wanted to order, and was forced to order something else. Now if you know me, I'll always find something to eat this isn't truly a problem for me, but I truly was disappointed this happened to me on both visits. My first time, I ordered the shrimp and grits and the old fashion as my cocktail. The old fashioned tasted like your regular whiskey with a cinnamon sugar rim (which was nice), but I could have done that myself and saved the money. The shrimp and grits were OK. The shrimp was very flavorful, but the grits were a bit on the bland side. The second time I went, I got the strip steak with a side of mac and cheese. The steak was pretty tasty and if you are a fan of this cut I think you'd be pleased. The mac and cheese I didn't enjoy. I offered to share with my friend, and she didn't want any either. It didn't deliver at all in the flavor department. It was watery, and tasted like it didn't have an ounce of seasoning on it. My friend who came with me both times loved her meal the first time (the salmon), and was not super impressed with her meal the second time (lamb chops). The ambiance in the lounge is easily one of my favorites in the metroplex. If you can find a drink you like at the bar, it would definitely be a nice place to frequent. Overall, this place had some highs and some lows. I'm very happy to have tried it, and don't regret my visits at all. However, I don't think I'll be in a rush to visit a third time.

Shannah H.

Yelp
An upscale restaurant tucked into a decommissioned baseball stadium? Suspicious at best. Go anyway. The vibe is speakeasy - dark, intimate and welcoming. Food is excellent and the bar is well edited and executed. I was beyond pleasantly surprised by my experience here and would happily put this on the list of places for an quiet high-end dinner.

Tricia Y.

Yelp
Let me start by saying the food and the server were great! I think would be a nice place for a single table dinner. That being said - DO NOT book a large event here. Large event planned months in advance and they did not meet expectations at all. Tables were still being set as guests were arriving. That should have been a sign. From there ...downhill. We never received our appetizers at our table, and from order to dining was 3 1/2 hours. Several of our guests got up and left without ever getting any portion of their meal. Some simply asked for dessert to go when they got tired of waiting. Very disappointing

Charles A.

Yelp
Well first time here, someone else's choice. So it was a Wednesday, and early. We were there to eat and cigar bar. No ballgame or other events, SO FREE PARKING, across the street,,, Yes! Only ones eating in dining area, till about two other parties came in. Service was great!! Two of us had steak, ok. Liked the char on it. Steak was between choice and prime. I did ask for medium and came out more towards past medium, very little pink. Had the wedge salad, that was good Ate some grits and jalapeño, ok Had a carajillo afterwards good. Went to cigar patio, not a cigar person, but only saw a few names I recognized. Seemed limited choices. No live music, was a Wednesday Will I be back, only if someone else requests it. I liked the sister restaurant Mercury Chophouse better. Yes I saw someone with shorts, yes they do have doggie bags. Sad to see such a great baseball park so run down.

Nicole S.

Yelp
We went during the soft opening. A couple learning opportunities, but this place will be in our regular rotation. Beautiful decor that screams Speakeasy. Live music was phenomenal. We shared boudin balls, wedge salad, Brussel sprouts and the New York strip. We left very satisfied with our meal and our server was pretty great.

Lauren C.

Yelp
Great atmosphere!! Beautiful setting. Bartenders are very friendly and accommodating and creative. Definitely worth trying. (PS they have loosened up on dress code with new management)

Leslie S.

Yelp
I am hoping this was an off night for the restaurant. Our first clue should have been when we called and wanted a 6:15 reservation, and they wanted us to come at 7:30, claiming we would have better service. We made a reservation online and have no idea why they would say that because when we got there, there were maybe 3-4 tables occupied. By the time we left around 7:30, there were only a few more tables occupied. The food was good; however, we had to send my husband's food back because the sweet potatoes were cold. They did come out warm the second time. We ordered the alligator as an appetizer. You would have no idea that is what you were eating...lots of breading. But the remoulade sauce was delicious. The chocolate torte was good, but you get a sliver of a piece. It is rich, but if two people were sharing, it would be a very small portion. My husband said the pecan pie was ok but nothing exciting. He preferred my torte better. Oh and that sliver of pecan pie? $15! Not worth it. At least the torte was priced a little better at $12. We had to ask for another napkin because my husband's was dirty. The spoon they brought for dessert was dirty, and I had to ask for another one. We discovered near the end of the evening that the tablecloth had dried food on it. We are pretty sure we didn't make that mess. The ladies room had one working sink. I went to tell the hostess to make sure they knew that, and they were aware but waiting on someone to come fix it. The server was very nice and did a good job. I was surprised that after one table left, no one came to reset the table for another guest. Maybe they knew they didn't need it? Overall, it was an ok evening. We wanted to try something different. We can check this off of our list of places to try.

Yelp
When I saw this place was opening I made a reservation during their soft Opening for my honeys birthday . We went on a Tuesday night and the live entertainment saved the experience . The two guys were amazing . The food was good but the service and wait staff will have to improve. The wait staff didn't understand our drink order so we had to go to the bartender . We will be back hope it will have improved

Mary B.

Yelp
See review below! I also posted this on Nextdoor. Very disappointed in our Saturday evening.

Ronin C.

Yelp
Well it looks nice. The staff is trying. But good lawd the food was awful - not just disappointing at this lofty price point, but inedible. My dates comment, "the worst meal of my life." Actually it was bad to the point of funny. Pretty sure the staff knows as they never asked how the meal was. Go there for a drink, but eat elsewhere. You've been warned.

Denise W.

Yelp
The ambience in Hearsay is phenomenal! We loved the plush booths in the lounge and the live jazz. The lobster mac & cheese was out of this world, but the crab cake was not. Since they have only been open one week, they do need to work out some hiccups in the service, but I'm sure it will improve. This is the kind of place where you will enjoy your meal and good conversation over a couple of hours- a true fine dining experience!

Roxy A.

Yelp
Memorable night. We went for a girls night out and had an amazing time. The staff was wonderful, our server Axel was attentive and accommodating throughout the night. The place decor is on point, very old Hollywood glamour. Food was delicious. We ordered the blackened salmon, braised ribs, filet mignon and crab cake with Mac n cheese, broccolini, whipped potatoes and risotto which were shareable sides. We had a couple of drinks, all great, but my favorite was called between the sheets, tasted like a lemon drop but way better. We tried the chocolate flourless cake. It was very yummy, but if you are sharing you might need more than one, slice is on the smaller size. We shared 2 slices between 5 of us, but we were full by that time and we just wanted something sweet to end the night. There was live music, the musician Nash and the drummer were Amazing! Talk about a voice, wow! By far one of the best places to go for a date night or girls night. Definitely will be returning.

Yelp
Had so much hope for this place. Took 30 mins to get our first round of drinks. My husband actually ordered a 2nd drink once the 1st was dropped off it was so long. Then the food.... while it was tasty, it took about an hour to get. Then the only thing that was hot was the sharable Mac n cheese, which is just Elbow Mac stirred up in cheese soupy c sauce and thick cheese melted on top. I had the scallops they were good but lukewarm, the asparagus was cold, and there were warm spots in the pasta. Hubby had the quail, which was also sorta warm but dry. The best thing on the plate was the greens. Those were very tasty! Mom in law had the bacon Brussel sprouts which was also cold. Then the oysters were 43 dollars, and there was NOTHING special about it. No vinegarette(sp), I mean something besides the norm of lemon and sauce. Drinks were not consistent either. For 300 dollars, NEVER again! Staff is nice enough but there would have to be some majors changes before we drop that kind of money. We have done Fearings, Perry's, etc, and have gladly spent good money for tasty food. This was not it!

Yelp
My friends and I went to this establishment to hear a friend's band play. The decor was very nice and that is where the good review ends! We had made a reservation for 4 and were seated in the middle of the floor. We waited for over 30 minutes before anyone approached us to even take a drink order. A young man named Larry finally stopped and asked had we been helped. He explained that he was not our waiter and that they were short staffed but he would get our drinks started. About 20 minutes after that a Young lady named Mary came out to us with an appetizer of Alligator she did not know what table it went to. We had not had our food order taken yet. We told Mary that we hadn't ordered anything yet because no one had taken our order. She apologized and gave us the alligator and took our order. The food came out about 30 minutes after Mary took it and the food was cold. We sent back the salmon and asked that they just take it off. Mary was very apologetic and explained that it is not Normal for services to be so bad! We were the very last people left in the restaurant waiting for our check. Then Larry reappeared with a check for $190! I gave him $200 and vowed this is the absolute first and last time I would eat at Hearsay! We had only cold brussel sprouts, cold pork belly, the alligator that Mary gave us, salmon that we sent back, and a crab cake. There was only 4 of us and only 3 of us order one drink each(2 amaretto sours and 1 red wine)! Biggest waste of $200 ever!!! Loved the band but hated the food and service!!!

Yelp
We arrived at 8pm and didn't receive our food until 11 pm. Once seated we got water then hr later got drinks didn't get to order food until after 10:30 pm. They didn't have any to go boxes, so the food that was barely eaten had to stay. No refills on water. Was told that other customers got bread but was told that comes upon request (that wasnt listed anywhere). Once the food came it was poorly seasoned and cold. Was told by another waitress that they didn't even know we were there. Asked to speak with the manager twice. She (Jerah) finally showed up with a bad attitude. Don't waste your time or money . The best thing was the bathroom lighting. I won't be back ever again!

Yelp
This place operates like it wrote the book on service Thanks Mickey "just like the mouse" for that laid back Louisiana speakeasy vibe service, from the time we started on the ground, my wife and I were met by the top notch valet, such fantastic professionalism to when we had wished to start with an outside vibe, we get an outside vibe we were escorted to the cigar patio area The Chambers outside with again top notch credit to Cody his service professional indeed. To again we wanted a bite to eat with some easy listening live music, that's where we met Mickey yea like the.. you know . :) I told her I would put that in here. Kinda of place I would drive from Midland Texas, just that worth it. Music was note worthy "pun intended" again top notch. Boudin balls were perfect, we wanted more but this food is too good to waste, we are out of town and no microwave at the hotel, weird I get it but that's another review. I don't want to leave anyone there out, reception desk perfect. If you have a bad evening here, we'll look in the mirror it ain't them. Just sayin. Thanks everyone there over and beyond grateful for star service. Wow standing room only for the applause and respect. I'm posting a simple teaser picture for you. Because you're gonna go check it out now for yourself and will appreciate it for yourself. Mahalo update found out the receptionists names Ms. Flowers and Ms. Katie again, so note worthy I do not want to leave anyone out. Thank y'all so much

Yelp
