"Great coffee is in no short supply in Portland, but this café serves up some of the best—their experts roast the beans themselves as soon as they come in fresh from Central America, South America, or Africa. If you’re not into black coffee, their fresh, house-made almond, cashew, and hazelnut milks are a creamy, delicious alternative for those dairy-averse customers and go especially well with one of the flaky, buttery croissants, massive chocolate cookies, or fresh-baked brioches that are brought in from local bakers daily. There's a second location in Kerns."

The place has a very nice environment. Very open space filled with a very friendly staff. There is a lack of outlets and wifi, so be mindful that this place may not be the best for doing much computer work. However it's a great place to catch up with a friend or two. If you're looking for a place to work on your latest writing prompt, this place would suffice as well. The coffee prices tend to be higher than average, though I wasn't disappointed with my Chile Hot Chocolate.

Yes ... a top three place for coffee in Portland and top top top for a buttery croissant 🥐 a boulangerie in Paris would be happy to serve. Yes the coffee is superb but the croissant is one of the best you’ll find in the Americas. 😍😍😍

Excellent coffee shop. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. There are a variety of coffee beans to choose from and the single origin espressos are just delightful! We always stop by every time we are in Portland.

Nice and large coffee shop with the regular menu. Friendly and fast staff, but the coffee wasn’t quite the best. The espresso lacks punch as does their drip. My mocha also tasted milky.

Stopped here on the recommendation of local friends who knew I was looking for good coffee while visiting Portland, and they didn't steer me wrong. Friendly service from the barista who gladly obliged when I requested my latte over ice since it was about 500 degrees outside. The honey cardamom latte is amazing. Never tried anything quite like it before. If you pick up a package of whole beans you'll also get a cup of drip coffee for free!

I really loved the coffee and chatty baristas here. The modern design makes the space very comfortable, clean looking (also it was kept very clean) and plenty of space. It is also on the quieter side which was nice. I tried an iced coffee an iced oat milk mocha which were both great. Note: they do not have almond milk here.

The atmosphere of Heart coffee is so relaxing. Wonderful place to work and relax. Great coffee too! I have to say it was the best in Portland. :)

Very well roasted coffee! If you love a craft coffee, you should go there. I prefer sour taste, and here it is. As far as I know, to remain its own coffee bean taste, it is usually light roasted. Therefore, it tastes sour. I also like the minimal Interior and friendly staff.
