"The closure of Rage in 2020, one of Weho’s oldest and most recognizable gay bars, was a major loss for the community. The fact that Heart has re-energized the space and brought life back to one of the most prominent corners of Santa Monica Blvd. is reason enough for us to like it. That said, it’s still pretty generic: complete with crowded dance floors, long lines, and a generally attractive crowd standing around not having fun. Keep your eyes on Heart’s Instagram though. They pull in some of the biggest names in the business with shows throughout the week. " - brant cox

"“I've gone to DJ there a few times and they have a great party called Gloss, by the House of Avalon. There’s a Vegas-level light package for that stage. It's just a beautiful bar, nice and big, with two levels. [There are] air conditioning issues sometimes, but don't worry: I'm very vocal about it.”" - brant cox

"The best thing about Rage is Musical Mondays, a magical night where people get together and lip-sync to famous theater video clips. Outside of that, it's a pretty uninteresting club and probably only still open because it’s home to Weho’s only 18+ night. So congrats, you’re talking to a 20-year-old who you’re definitely driving back to LMU tomorrow." - Brant Cox

Is a trendy, upscale nightclub in West Hollywood, known for its sleek design, vibrant atmosphere, and top-notch DJ performances. With its high-energy vibe, chic decor, and lively crowd, it's a popular spot for dancing and enjoying a night out in the heart of WeHo.

We went there for a steve Aoki concert today at 2pm. At 2pm we were told we should come back at 3.30pm for no apparent reason. Then at 3.30 they let us in but stil, no steve aoki. Then they told us a few minutes, then they told us 6pm. At 6pm it finally happened and the concert was great with good lighting and a big screen for visuals. Sound was also good. Only this and the friendly queer people helped it to a 2 star rating. The owner, who looked like a mafia version of steve carell, was super rude and nobody could tell us when the DJ plays. we waited 4 hours for concert to start and pretty much just sat around all day till it started. Could have spent my time better if they would have communicated anything at all but they really didn't care about us.

This place is the new “mega club” on the Weho strip and it’s super fun! I love the all black tile design because it lets all the fun lights stand out even more. It would of been a 5-star rating but one redbull vodka drink is $21…which is like WOW okay no. I’m used to $16-$17 a drink in Weho but now we are paying over $20 for one drink, that’s ludicrous! Get your redbull vodka anywhere else on the strip for cheaper. I do like that they had trans go-go dancers which you never see in Weho, sure at a drag show but not as a go-go dancer in the main area. Also, they had an older over 50 female DJ (she was awesome) which again is very rare in Weho so I applaud Heart for being more inclusive to everyone. They have so many fun lights everywhere, plenty of TVs, a big dance floor on the bottom and seating/standing on the top level, and plenty of seating outside. Clean bathrooms and unisex for everyone. Altogether a super fun addition to the Weho strip!

RuPaul viewing is the best here! It's currently free for now and viewing starts at 8 pm. This is what I envision when I think of viewing parties and they are doing it right. I hope it lasts and definitely enjoyed my time! There was free seating that was first come, first served! Drinks are expensive as with most of the bars here, but overall good vibe. It's the newest bar in the Weho scene. They usually charge cover on some nights as well, but it's the happening spot!

Google
Never have I been to feel so unwelcome the bartender staff completely ignored me as I stood at the bar for over 20 minutes only catering to people around me and those who walked up being extremely flamboyant and feminine. Makes me feel like I’ll just avoid this bar from now on. If it wasn’t for the bartender with the baseball cap and glasses who literally walked up as soon as I was going to walk away from the bar and get me a drink I would of just walked out.

Google
The vibe at this place was completely off. Despite being located in WeHo, it was overrun by straight patrons. Within the first 30 minutes, my partner was robbed. We realized it right after we left and immediately went back to find his phone and wallet. However, the staff was extremely dismissive and couldn’t care less about our situation. When we explained what happened to the guard, we were simply told to leave. After reading other reviews, I regret ever coming here. This place has a history of theft, and honestly, given the frequency of these incidents and the fact that they have paid security, it wouldn’t surprise me if the staff were involved. Adding insult to injury, there’s even a cover charge. Save your time, money, and personal items and stay away from this place!

Google
Do not go to this club. The securities like to feel offended and kick you out if they touch on you and you make a face and dont say anything else. Poor management. This is a serious problem with security risk of racial bias. Do not come here. Bad culture amongst security. Also sexual harassment risk from security. Unsafe.

Google
I went to new “ Beachs Tropicana “ last Friday August 16 th and I had a best Experience. l’ll support always the clubs in weho because I am gay and no make sense don’t support my community .in my honest opinion nothing changed since the last time I went to this place . sincerely I prefer go to the Abbey I can have a great night and have fun. Over there it’s nice People, clean place, great costumer service and good music. Guys the promoter at the door was so rude and I can’t understand why work as costumer service . I hope the manager improve your service because the club it’s nice scenario but bad management.

Ed U.

Yelp
Let me get to the point right away. This was absolutely the worst gay bar experience Jamie W. and I had in our collective adventures in WeHo. We were here during PRIDE and immediately regretted our decision once we walked in and found ourselves surrounded by unrelenting alcohol and drug-fueled debauchery. It was more a nightclub than a bar with an ill-used dance floor (photo: https://yelp.to/zGo2AKZXjv). There were unenergetic go-go dancers of both sexes undulating on table tops and through window openings. Of course the bar was packed, and as we awaited our turn to order, a rudely indifferent drunk started eating all the fruit garnishes from the open container and spitting out the pits, seeds, and rinds back into the same box. The bartender just stared at him and kept using the same garnish box. Enough. It was time to go. Melodrama appears to enshroud this spot. The most famous of the original owners, NSYNC's Lance Bass, recently decided to sell his share after a bouncer hired by the club beat up a customer to submission. It was also just announced that Beaches WeHo across the street has just acquired the property and will renovate and rebrand it as Beaches Tropicana. Just in the nick of time if you ask us. DRINKS - 0 stars...we didn't trust the indifferent bartender and the used garnishes AMBIANCE - 0.5 stars...reprehensible customers don't make this place much fun SERVICE - 0 stars...oh please TOTAL - 1 star...I can't go lower on Yelp but I would if I could RELATED - Exploring WeHo? Yelp
This place was actually so much fun on a Saturday night with dj morningstar. They ask you to get tickets/RSVP ahead of time but it was free cover the whole night. Downside is that there's only 1 stall and several urinals so you might have to wait awhile if you need to use the restroom. Also, the drinks are so expensive. $18 lemon drop martinis at Heart but paid around $12 at Rocco's. Had a great night and didn't get my phone stolen so I'll be back!

Crystal S.

Yelp
Honestly I loved when it was HEART... unfortunately when it rebranded, the people were not not nice at all.

Brent B.

Yelp
Left me tab open and forgot to close out. When I came back they wanted me to pay $20 to get in. I offered to give my wallet while I went to pay and they said no. Anyways great. Thanks Heart

Owen W.

Yelp
Charged $36.21 for a vodka Double Red Bull with no notice or recourse. Wasn't even good otherwise.

Yolit R.

Yelp
I thought I liked this club but after 1 am they started charging a cover charge of $10 each I paid for 2 people with my card so it should have been $20 come to find out the next day I WAS CHARGED $50 wtf. They added a tip to themselves and I remembered who it was a 6ft baldbrown skin Asian man and I will get my money back just be careful.

Yelp
I came here for an AIDS Lifecycle fundraiser on the this clubs opening day. Let me just say, what a huge difference between this club and RAGE. The new updated lighting effects definitely elevates stage area/dance floor. The sound system was exceptional. For this event we had hors d'oeuvres coming out of the kitchen that were really delicious. My boyfriend's and I favorite had to be the beef empanada and the shrimp taquito(?). Brett the bartender was really sweet and made our drinks perfectly. I don't usually come to West Hollywood, but I definitely would come back to try a night event. Thank you for hosting the Cycle Paths for this great event.

Yelp
This place hired a monster that cracked my friend's head open. He had brain surgery and the rest of his skull has been sown into his belly. He may not survive.

Pete F.

Yelp
I popped in a few weeks ago with my friends. I usually don't go out in Weho. They had a tribute or something to Lizzo. My friend is a big fan. Turns out she popped in, flopped around stage and made a scene..So uch fun. I drank all night for like 60 bucks...For weho prices weren't that bad and the crowd was hotter then Fiesta Cantina for sure. The GO GO boys were smoke shows. Bartenders were hot and crazy. Promoter was hitting on me and my girl all night. I think he is AC/DC but hey its weho who cares....Give it a shot to dance your face off. Only real nightclub in town. The light show was amazing I think it was designed by some guy named Rubin. My friend knows him from Vegas.

Yelp
They are rude. People who are on the dance floor trying to kick us out. People who aren't even working there. Don't recommend going there. That place sucks.

Marissa G.

Yelp
I lost my phone and it was turned in the number they have is disconnected, so I showed up in person and someone has turned it in.

Eric D.

Yelp
Lol are you kidding me? Firstly the rude ass bouncer can kick rocks. $15 cover and their machine suggested a tip...for what?! For taking my money at the door or the rude ass bouncer? The club is just like the old rage. The music was bad, the crowd was worse. Rocco's across the street was not only free but the crowd, drinks, and music was 10000% better

Faith N.

Yelp
WARNING: Pickpocketing happens here almost every night! Do not keep your phone or wallet in your back pocket. This has happened to me and my friends on separate occasions. The staff are nice about it but can not help once your phone is stolen because the thief usually exits with it immediately. I had mine taken at the end of the night on my walk out (along with my wallet). Always keep an eye or hand on your valuables!! This goes for most places in WeHo as well. Again great club and staff that do the best they can but this is out of their control. Be safe!

Florentino M.

Yelp
Some one accused of grabbing on them, security didn't ask, I was ordering a drink and their security slammed me to the ground, I didn't know what was happening!

Nurfatimah Z.

Yelp
This place was so fun not until my phone got stolen here if you visiting this place please be careful with all your belongings you should tighten up your security how can it's happened 3 peoples lost their phones in a one time and your management still doing nothing and let that happen every time

George K.

Yelp
Our phones were stolen, security guys rudely laughing, they didn't care! Refused refunding for the money they charged while we stayed 20 min there . Worse experience in Weho

Aaron W.

Yelp
This place is horrible. They hate their customers. Security should be embarrassed to work there.

Lucia R.

Yelp
Went here on a Friday night and it was so lit !! I lost my phone and went back the following day at around 850 to try and retrieve it. I was greeted by a kind security guard and was told to wait to speak with the general manager. James was super helpful. He allowed me to go in and look for my phone which I found ! Definitely will be back. Thank you to the team at Heart

James C.

Yelp
So I came here three times over the Super Bowl weekend, and each night was a different feel! Friday was a super banging club Vibe, Saturday was clubby but a bit more chill and Sunday was super bowl Sunday! The lighting and sound system upgrades are amazing, and the place is filled with beautiful bar tenders that are fast, nice and professional. Although I miss the old Rage night club, this place is a perfect replacement

Star M.

Yelp
Wallet stolen out of my purse and no one would even look to see if it was turned in. The number doesn't work either!

Erick H.

Yelp
WARNING! you'll get your wallet/phone stolen. This place has the worst case of pickpocketing in WeHo! I got my phone stolen here on 8/26/23, immediately I told the staff and they were not helpful at all, they refused to check the cameras. Next day I tried to call them and their phone doesn't even work.

Brittany K.

Yelp
The dancers here are phenomenal!!!!! I love coming here to watch them, dance with friends and have a good time watching the show. As a performer myself, it takes a lot of strength and endurance to do this sport for over an hour. Props to all of you!

Neena H.

Yelp
Wish I could give zero stars. NEVER use your card here the people tip themselves especially at the front door

Gagik K.

Yelp
Went to West Hollywood on a Sunday night and passed by Heart their Sunday event was Legacy (hip hop night) and I heard the music down the street so I had to go in. Went in took a tour and went straight to the bar upstairs. Ordered a single jack and diet and a single redbull and kettle. I didn't get kettle but it wasn't that big of a deal. The issue was when I got my bill it was 62$. 31$ per drink. I said wow the prices had gone up and one drink costs more than what I make in an hour. But I tipped and we drank. The music was on point and we went to get another round downstairs. We ordered the same drinks and added two shots this time the tab was 63$. I asked the bartender if he undercharged us and explained the situation. The manager came by and spoke to us and gave us a free round. I was told the upstairs bartender charged us for doubles and for kettle one/tito's . The issue isn't the cost if that's the price it's the price gouging for people who air not paying attention. Unsure if this happens only on that night but regardless if your bartender is not happy or hates the event that night they should stay home and not rob people of their hard earned money. I wonder how many others went that night getting bottom shelf booz for double the price of top shelf. Get it together. The manager was good to us and the music was fire.

Priscilla S.

Yelp
A MUST GO SEE Tiffany Billings JETE PREMIER DANCE Experience. Live performances, best staff. A safe place for ALL who dare to be different!

Skander Y.

Yelp
My favorite place to go in WeHo. Nice staff and great vibes. Love that it's open until 4AM as well.

Nic H.

Yelp
Amazing place with great music. I love the Spanish and techno combination. However, I did get pickpocketed! Be aware, hold your phone and belongings at all times. I've also caught a pickpocket trying to slide his hand into my pants. The workers were helpful in showing me other phones that were reported to them. Unfortunately, none were mine.

Tatum W.

Yelp
I would not give place a one star if I hadn't receive wrong treatment. I need the management to contact me asap. When i came in a week ago a lady ( Caucasian) at the door, was being extremely rude to my friend about the door prices he proceeded to pay I simply was observing what was going on and made eye contact with the woman. As we began to walk in, she got in my face, pointed hers hands in my face invading my safe space for no reason even though I hadn't said a word to her. We decided to avoid her and other security say enjoy our night by letting us in diffusing the situation. We decided to come here again last night and when I walked upstairs to a location I was unaware was closed off, the security asked me to leave. I apologised and said I didn't know it was closed, but the Caucasian male and a black security decided to order me to leave. When I began to walk downstairs, the Caucasian man said, "No, get the f**k out of the club!" I'm not sure why my lack of knowledge of the area was reason enough to throw me out of the club. The black security then grabbed me by the back of my neck and started handling me with force, even though I had already told him I was leaving Keep in mind I am a woman and I already told him that I was already planning on leaving. I'm assuming that this has something to do with a previous interaction last week with that lady. I've always been appropriate when I came to the club so there's no reason why this treatment should've happened. They literally tried to push me out the club for no reason at all..This incident should not go ignored because if i was hurt by the way i was wrongly removed by security there would have been a lawsuit.

Phonz R.

Yelp
I don't understand the bad reviews here, because the night I came I had a ball. Came on a Sunday for the Legacy party, the music was a vibe... I appreciate them playing Beyoncé's "Church Girl" and other relevant music. The layout of this club is dope as f**k! I spent most of my time upstairs and looking down. Bartenders were nice and drinks were on point. Lance Bass did a good job with this.

Ed G.

Yelp
Horrible service! Don't come here, it would be the worse experience you would ever have. I got an invitation by the promoter of heart, I was supposed to have a table as long as I would consume. We were a party of 10 people, we were Paying $160 each round and we were having a "good time" a celebrity came and they kicked us out saying that we were not consuming enough. Wtf! Shame on them, don't come to this place unless you are a rich person who is willing to spent more that 3k per night.

L.J. F.

Yelp
SHADY SHADY SHADY Had friends from out of town and they wanted to check out Heart. I agreed to go and even paid for their $15/head cover charge which is pretty obscene for a Weho bar to begin with. And here's the SHADY part: when I was paying for the covers, the guy at the window decided that swiping my card deserved a $15 tip. He tried to scam me by hitting the 25% tip button on the payment app!? I was like wtf and confronted him about it and instead of apologizing, he said he was gonna involve the bouncers ... as if I was the one who created the issue. Never setting foot inside this ghetto club ever again.

Apple C.

Yelp
I am a woman, and I came here with friends and the restroom that was gender neutral upstairs. my girl and I went inside, and it was only urinals. A man was in the stall. That was ok but when 5 guys came in I asked them to wait so I can wipe and my girl could pee they had a fit thing to fight me. And said I'm pulling out my dick you should pull your pushy out wtf please please stop this

D K.

Yelp
Newly renovated! The LED light panel on the outdoor facade is cute. They put a sleek face-lift on the old club. Rage 2.0. Worth it if you're into the Instagay scenester crowd and kids in their 20s. I to prefer 30+ and the types of that go to warehouse parties in DTLA. Attitude at the door can be a bit sophomoric at times. This isn't Berlin, calm down lol Always nice to have a new venue in Los Angeles, but there's still nothing in West Hollywood or really Los Angeles to rival the best parties, clubs, or people in Europe and other international destinations, where guys are hot *and* friendly.

William V.

Yelp
Definitely not Rage 2.0. This is a completely different club from Lance Bass and co. I don't mind the 15 dollar cover because it keeps out the riff raff, but 30 bucks for a vodka soda is obscene. My card was overcharged too so I suggest checking your credit card transactions after your night here. Besides the new lighting (very eye-catching!), I don't see much of a difference between the old Rage space and the new Heart space. I'd like to give this club a fair shake but much more needs to be done.

Dillon P.

Yelp
Drinks are $20 plus a cover charge. Same crowd as other bars on the strip. What's with all straight bartenders and no bartenders of color?

David T.

Yelp
Last night, my boyfriend and I went to this club with his friends on Friday night. We had a great time, enjoying drinks and having fun. But when I asked for water, they only offered expensive bottled water for $5 each. I kindly requested tap water, but they said they didn't have any. It left me feeling disappointed. I know they need to make a profit to run the business, but couldn't selling alcohol be enough? It felt a bit greedy to me. I hope the manager takes this into consideration and rethinks their policy. We all straight went to other club for free water & end our night in different club.

J B.

Yelp
THE place to dance in WeHo. Sensory overload! If Miley built her heaven, it would probably be a lot like this place.

Cameron E.

Yelp
Been to Heart a number of times, including viewing parties and live music events, and I have yet to have a bad experience here. It can get crowded on certain nights, but in general is a very spacious club and there's almost always space outside to cool off. The music is pretty good and the bar staff are as well. They are one of the few bars on this strip that stays open til 4am on weekends, but as with the others, they do still stop serving alcohol at 2am and may charge for entry after 2am unless you are already inside.

Ariana B.

Yelp
$41 for 2 vodka red bulls, was shocked to see the charge that I didn't have the words to ask the bartender if the drinks came with diamonds on the side. Paid, chugged my drink, and ran out of there. Will not be returning.

Jacqueline G.

Yelp
Cool place! I got to see Kali Uchis here for her album release party! & for free. Opened early for us. Amazing staff and dancers.

Michael D.

Yelp
Music is good , bartenders attentive , go go boys sexy BUT a $10.00 cover at 12 46 am is not worth it. Stop parading boys up and film the Blvd with signs that say "No Cover " only to charge a ridiculous cover for the last hour! Went ho abbey with no cover!

Kristin W.

Yelp
Do NOT go here. Personal items will Get stolen and security won't do a thing about it. Should've followed what others had said

Simon R.

Yelp
Sexy club especially Discotheque Sunday long black haired dance with fan and her shiny black boots

Holly D.

Yelp
What a dump! I'd give zero stars, if I could. Doorman was extremely rude for no reason at all. Place was overcrowded, drinks way over priced & it smelled like a toilet!

Five K.

Yelp
Terrible staff and food! WORSE Superbowl experience!!

Niko C.

Yelp
Very sad to leave this terrible review. The security guard on the patio was screaming and spitting in my face when I tried to ask him a simple question. He was doing nothing but standing there and I did nothing to provoke him. He was disgusting.

Saige G.

Yelp
This club has fun music and a cool vibe. It's usually very packed so prepare for tons of people!

Emily F.

Yelp
stolen phone and no one to contact not even a working phone number. they don't reply on ig or email this place is super sketch
