Favorite pizza place in Ottawa! They've got what you need for take out & dine in. I suggest placing a reservation at least 2 weeks ahead of time for the hours closer to 8pm if you're planning on having dinner. The pizzas are absolutely worth it

Made a phone order and was given a time to pickup the pizza. The employees were very happy and professional. Pizza was ready on the time given. The atmosphere was great, cozy and perfect for a date night. Will go back to try more items on the menu. The pizza taste good, thin crust and done well. A different twist to what pizza shops do. This is a good thing and the portions are very generous. The garlic sauce is on point 💯.

Expectations were set very high going here as we had heard that this was the best pizza in all of Ottawa. A pizza was very good but it would be hard to say that it was the best. The dough did really shine for the pizza. The surprise for us where the wings we ordered as an appetizer which were fantastic This is a fun place to come but make sure you've got reservations because it's small and it is super busy. I definitely recommend checking it out.

It's probably the best pizza I've had in Ottawa! I haven't tried every single pizza spot however I think about this pizza days after I've eaten it. Our favorite is the Sweetheart and the family is obsessed with the fun guy. The garlic dipping sauce is phenomenal as well as the dark chocolate cake on the desert menu! This is definitely a must try resto! Make sure to book a spot in advance!

Undeniably one of the best pizzas in the city, if you're quick enough to reserve one! 🍕 All ingredients were of the highest quality and wildly flavorful, the pizza was cooked to perfection with beautiful leopard spotting on the crust and a heavenly texture! Good luck getting a pizza if you do not call in before they open to reserve a pizza for pickup. If you show up to buy pizza later in the evening they will likely, sadly, live up to their name and your heart will be broken 💔😔 The Sweetheart pizza- (5/5) 🍕 -the peperoni had such a powerful and incredible flavor, among the best I've ever had -cheese was fresh and high quality with great pull -tastes as good as it looks! Fennel and Sausage pizza - (5/5) 🌭 -complementary and unique flavor combination -the crunch of the fennel contributed to varying texture of each bite -aged and fresh cheese combo added a nice depth of flavor Fun Guy pizza (4.9/5) 🍄 -roasted mushroom cream sauce base set this one completely apart from the other -the quality of mushrooms used were top notch and cooked perfectly with a nice chew and a slight crunch Service - (2/5) due to difficulty to aquire pizza and waiting on hold for almost 10 mins just to reserve a pizza. Food - (5/5) well deserved. I would normally average the, 2 but given the exceptional quality, I am giving my main rating on the food exclusively.

Love the vibe in here! Super cozy. Pizzas were absolutely amazing (recommend getting the garlic sauce too!). The kale salad was really yummy - I liked the toasted nuts. And the chocolate cake was delicious. Also, amazing service! Shout out to Carina 🫶

I can definitely see how this place is considered the best pizza place in Ottawa noting the quality of the ingredients and how it was made. However, even though the ingredients are top-notch, it honestly just tasted like baked bread with a little bit of cheese. There was little to no flavour to the pizza and the doe itself was incredibly tough. It was a jaw workout eating a slice and I developed a tension headache afterwards. The ranch sauce did not taste like ranch one bit, tasted more like Greek yoghurt. The most enjoyable part of the $70 meal (pizza and wings) was the garlic sauce. I also cant see how a restaurant can charge $3 a chicken wing. The chicken wings were no different than wings you get at a pub, but triple the price. 12 pieces of wings was the same price as their “high quality” pizza which makes you question whether or not the pizza ingredients were that high of a quality or not. I would recommend this place to eat once and experience how a pizza should be like. But I personally would enjoy and feel better buying pizza at a franchise. You would actually taste the main ingredients, it’s more enjoyable to eat and won’t hurt your wallet.

It was second time :) one of the best pizza places in town! You should order their dippings sauce to enhance taste. Garlic and chili sauce were good 😊

Pretty much everything about this place is a class act, the servers are wonderful and professional and great Had olives, chicken wings and pineapple pizza, with prosecco Chicken wings and pizza were just fantastic, olives were not impressive actually, one minus, lots of Castelvetrano olives and I didn't like this so much. Wings and pizza were spectacular, I will definitely come back Reservations basically necessary, the place fills up right at 4pm and some people were turned away because they did not have reservations.

First of all look how cute the pizza boxes are!! My friend hosted us for a pizza party and the food is unreal! We got preordered take out and our order was ready in time. Across the board, the ricotta & honey, the sweetheart and the fun guy were delicious. This has to be one of my favorite pizza spots ever. I'll be back

So we came here on recommendation from a colleague plus I had a huge craving for pizza. The ambiance is very nice. Its classy& cozy. We were immediately greeted with smiling faces and a sweet welcome. We got the Hot Shot and Sweetheart with a side of garlic dip & chili oil. Garlic dip was flavorful without being overwhelming and chili oil added a nice hint of spice that didn't alter the delicious flavors of our pizzas. The pizzas came out piping hot and my goodness, these were hands down, the absolute most delicious pizzas. The crust was charred just nice with big, crispy bubbles. You could hear the crunch when cutting through with a knife & with every bite. These are thin crust pizzas with tender toppings which made for an amazing mouth feel. Side note: if you are a deep dish lover, these pizzas aren't for you but still worth trying.

Heartbreakers this Heartbreakers that. That's all Big Drew hears about. And wouldn't you know it, I'm trying hard not to find myself on the wrong end of a solid grease wheel these days. I'll eat 6 slices and barely bat an eye. Imagine being that disgusting? Gotta get my beach bod ready for summer. Anyway - a friend brought by some pies and wings last night and I resolved to be on my best behavior and only crush a slice or two (or three). Very very delicious. 2 slices of Pepperoni and one slice of Hawaiian and they were both as good as advertised. Thin crust, thicker ridge, amazing ingredients. But the show stopper was the wings. Big Drew THINKS he's a pizza aficionado but he's really just a wing monster. These jalapeno sweet smoked wings were one of the most DELICIOUS flappers I've eaten in years (aside from my own). No pics sorry. But just order these fuckers YESTERDAY or you are wasting your life. Nice kale Caesar too. Mad flavour. I DIDN'T eat the cake (a guy has to draw the line somewhere) but it looked great. Well well done !!! DON'T CHANGE A GODDAMN THING!!! 10000% will go back.

I'm not the biggest pizza person, but Heartbreakers changes my mind every time. Great for vegans and non-vegans. Always wonderful and fast service- just make sure to book a reso! We loved the little patio in the summer.

We ordered the pepperoni & sweetheart pizza foe take out. They were good. The sweetheart pizza had jalapeño and honey, so it's spicy and sweet at the same time. It's quite a nice taste and surprisingly not that spicy. The crust was good too.

I had heartbreaks pizza last night with a friend for a girls night in. We got a large cheese pizza and a green salad. The pizza was so so good. The crust was chewy (how I like it) and the cheese was best colour! The salad was very nice and I loved the vinaigrette, however it did come with a lot of cheese on top. It was a takeaway order, so very minimal interaction with the staff, but the staff were very pleasant. The pizza was ready right when we got there which is always a bonus to not have to wait for your takeout! Overall loved it. It's my favourite pizza place in Ottawa!

One of the best thin crust vegan pizzas I've ever had. Recommend to those who don't like fake mozzarella as they use nooch and it is delicious!

Such a cute place with delicious food and friendly staff! I tried the Lovely Cheese pizza, and the fresh basil made it taste amazing. The confetti cake is also a must-try. I loved the decor on the walls and the cozy atmosphere! I'll definitely be returning.

Love pizza and Heartbreakers doesn't disappoint. I've only had take out so can't say much about dining in.

Run... and don't walk to this place! I wish I could give it 10 stars if I could. The service is amazing and fast. The ingredients are very fresh and you just want to finish the whole pizza box. The crust is also thin and fluffy which is a big bonus. Now I will have sweet dreams of pizza.

Not sure what I was expecting, pictures online and reviews were mostly positive, but wow.. I was blown away!!! The pizza here is 10/10, thin crust NYC style! Can't wait to come back!

Stopped by for a "snack" and ended up ordering 3 small pizzas! This isn't the typical Ottawa "greasy" cheese pizza. If you like thin crust, NY style pizza, this is the place to go. My favourite was the Lovely Cheese. Simple ingredients but great taste. The Sweetheart was a good recommendation but the honey made it a bit sweeter than what I'm used too. Finally, the Fun Guy is great if you like mushrooms. Be warned, it is strong mushroom taste! Make sure to get the garlic dipping sauce if you enjoy extreme garlic flavour!

Delicious. Most delicious dough hands down. Thin enough and yet thick enough crust. Cheese is unreal. Really lives up to the ratings!

Top 3 pizza place in Ottawa doing NYC pies. They used to have some phone issues but it's been much better since late last year. They source some nice ingredients and I've tried the pepperoni and the sausage and fennel pizzas. Both are really good. I wish they undercarriage was a bit crispier but the rest of it is really good. Staff are always friendly and awesome. Pay attention to where you can park as the parking situation is a bit limited if you're doing pick up.

The husband and I haven't had the chance to buy directly from the Heartbreakers restaurant, but we've ordered their pizza kits a few times through Burrow Shop's online grocery store. They're Burrow Shop's Mealshare items, which means when you buy them, Burrow Shop provides one simple, healthy meal to a youth in need through Mealshare. Win win win! We've tried the pepperoni and the "Fun-Guy" pizzas, and there's also a plain cheese option. The make-at-home kits come with two pizza doughs, cheese, and sauce, $24-28 per kit. The pepperoni pizza kit comes with tomato sauce, aged fresh mozzarella, dry-cured pepperoni, Grana Padano, and fresh basil. The "Fun-Guy" is a white pizza with toasted mushroom cream instead of tomato sauce, whole milk mozzarella, Le Coprin mushrooms (cinnamon cap, phoenix oyster, king eryngii), Grana Padano, and fresh parsley. I think there's actually a couple kinds of mozzarella (regular pizza mozzarella and fresh mozzarella, or another soft cheese I embarrassingly can't identify, so they're more like 3-cheese). They also come with instructions, including leaving it out for 2- to 3-hours, so plan accordingly. The first time around, we only made one pepperoni pizza and didn't have a rolling pin, so we really messed up the dough and poked a ton of holes in it, which was both hilarious and a learning experience, but still tasted great. After trying to stretch it out with our hands, we realized we should've just made both, but there wasn't enough time (aka we were hangry) to let the other one sit out. We learned quickly and just made one each the next few times we got them (last time was with a rolling pin that I got as an early Christmas gift to help this problem). The pizzas are meant to be rolled out as thinly as possible, so it's really not as big or heavy as you might think, but take that from someone who eats a lot lol Both pizzas are very different but equally delicious. The second time we had the mushroom pizza, my husband added some deli meat to his, which is always a plus of making them yourself at home and adding whatever you want. I normally choose thin crust pizzas whenever I have the option, so these are totally my kind of pizza. I wish there was more cheese, but I eat cheese in excessive amounts, so I'm sure it's the normal amount for non-cheese-obsessed folks. I really appreciate the different cheeses, high-quality pepperoni and mushrooms, and great sauces. The husband is a big pizza guy, so he really just wishes there was more, but other than that, we think they're great and can't wait to try them freshly made by Heartbreakers whenever this pandemic lets up!

My friend ordered three pizzas for a gathering this past weekend: Hawaiian, fun guy and margherita. The dough was thin but had really nice mouthfeel and the toppings were fresh and tasty. I ate the margherita and the Hawaiian We had a pizza malfunction with another restaurant and so my friend quickly ordered at the last minute from Heartbreaker's and they rose to the challenge to provide fresh pies for our gathering. Another friend picked them up, so I don't know about the delivery situation. No one was disappointed and 3 larges fed about 10 people, many whom had seconds (and thirds!) I will definitely keep them in mind for my next pizza craving!

BEST PIZZA IN THE CITY. Omg this pizza is so addicting! The texture and taste of the crust is amazing and the balance of the toppings makes it taste amazing. The garlic sauce is out of this world, wish they would sell it in bottles lol. Haven't dined in yet but the atmosphere is nice and the decor is cool! I could eat here everyday.

A great new pizza place in the neighbourhood. I tried a couple pizzas last night. They were both great but the roasted mushroom, chive, cream one was really special!

Delightful!! We called in an order for a couple of pizzas and some crispy greens for our 33rd Wedding Anniversary. I happened to mention it to the fellow who took my order. When we opened the box, it was decorated with flowers and a Happy Anni message - we were tickled. And the pizza was simply delish. Sausage & Fennel - very yum. Greens were indeed fresh and crispy - nice that they came in a recyclable cardboard container. And the pizza crust? Heaven. Light and crispy. We'll be back. Thank you!!

This place is soooo good. Beautiful thin crust pizza. I had the heartbreaker (I did sub the jalapeño with sausage) and the drizzle of honey was such a delight. The dough was cooked well, the toppings were well portioned. I honestly cannot wait to come back and have a meal indoors. You will not regret calling ahead for takeout.

I don't ever leave reviews, but I wanted to leave one for this amazing place. I remember reading about this place just before the pandemic and thinking their pizza looked awesome. I was worried that they didn't survive all of the shutdowns, but thankfully they are still here. I've missed having this kind of pizza since moving to Ottawa. It was at a point where I was waiting for the border to reopen just so I could go and get some real pizza in NY. Thankfully, Heartbreakers exists and have proven that great pizza is being made right here in Ottawa. I ordered the "Lovely Cheese Pizza" on 10/25/21, and it was absolutely perfect. It reminded me of some of my favorite pizzas I've ever had. Perfect amount of sauce, good quality cheeses (as evidenced by not only the taste, but the complete lack of grease dripping off each slice), and the crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside. I'll be coming back, repeatedly. Words truly fail to accurately convey how great this place is.
