Where to Eat and Drink on the Oregon Coast

"Wood-fired pizza, lamb koftas, roasted potatoes and more can be yours at Hearth & Table, the latest incarnation of talented restaurateurs Danelle Lochrie and Ethan Granberg in Lincoln City. Former owners of the late, lamented Olde Line Lanes & Kitchen bowling-pizza-and-fried-chicken destination — the bistro centers the wood oven as a design element in its casual space as it turns out wondrous pizzas. At happy hour, come for a spritzy cocktail made with limoncello or non-alcoholic mixers; stay for the chicory Caesar salad, lamb koftas, and blistered pies. The restaurant does catering, too, if you’re planning a party at your beach rental." - Jennifer Burns Bright

Pizza was very good. 12" Woodfired pizza. We got cheese, margarita, pepperoni and a veggie. It was Saturday night on a holiday weekend so busy. 15 minutes to be seated, 20 minutes to order and about 15mins for food. Not bad but if you are trying to grab a quick bite plan for at least an hour from walk in to walk out.

Lovely place!! We had a Pepperoni pie and Insalata di Campagna. We ate the salad so fast I forgot to snap a pic but it was absolutely incredible and I’ve been craving it every day since. The wood-fired pizza was perfect. Delightfully chewy crust and great flavor. We got warm cocktails on a cold night and they were fabulous. Cute vibe inside, a little more upscale but still casual. Great for a date night. Service was great, our server and Chef were super friendly. You can tell these folks really care about the quality of the food and the whole customer experience overall. It’s really refreshing. We will definitely be back next time we are in town!

This place is AMAZING!!! The pizza was hands down the best pizza we have ever had. We got a cheese and Saltimbocca and the flavors were incredible. The service was also excellent and the vibe was so comfortable. We will be back here every time we visit this wonderful city!

The pizza crust was like a cloud, yet crisp enough to support itself and a pile of deliciously fresh ingredients. We thoroughly enjoyed the baked brie with dollops of jam. We were pleasantly surprised to find gluten-free tiramisu! The staff is friendly, efficient, and superbly talented. Space is limited, so sign up for a table, and be prepared to stroll to nearby shops while you wait.

This place is incredible! We stopped in on Friday night and ended up coming back Saturday because we loved it so much! The newly renovated space and music selection provided such a great atmosphere along with the warm and friendly staff. We ordered the seasonal salad and the Giardino Pizza. Both were so good! The crust was soft yet chewy and loaded with fresh high quality ingredients. We will definitely be back!

Google
Amazing food and great quality ingredients! One of the best salads I have ever gotten. Highly recommend the’insalata di campaga’ salad. For pizza we got the fungo and agrodulce - recommend both!! I’d say one pizza and salad is enough for two ppl! But leftovers are never bad ;)

I’m a well traveled foodie and have lived in food cities like San Francisco and Barcelona, so I have high expectations. I didn’t expect much from the Oregon coast food scene wise other than seafood, burgers and beer. But it was my birthday and my husband encouraged me to research, so I found this place on Eater Portland. I was thrilled on all levels, from the quality and freshness of ingredients to the quality of food to the cozy ambiance and service. Had to wait a bit for a table but was happy to have a drink at the bar while watching the chef work the impressive wood fired oven. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I can't remember the last time...I enjoyed a meal and dining experience so much. This is our second visit to Lincoln City this year and I wish we would have made a point to visit Hearth & Table on our trip in July--this restaurant is as good as you would find in any urban foodie scene but is located in a scenic coastal beach city. We visited on a Saturday evening and rightfully so it was busy, we placed our name on the list and we offered a drink that we could take into the adjoining very cool home store while we waited. This is a great idea and something we always enjoy when an eatery is partnered with a boutique. Within 15 minutes we were offered counter seating or could wait a few more minutes for a table. The groovy decor of the tables was appealing and while we considered waiting the smells and our hunger led us to take the counter seating and I am glad we did! The restaurant has an open kitchen and we could watch the food being prepared as well as get to know the chef and the staff. First off, while the bar is a little limited the cocktails are we enjoyed a special cranberry margarita and an old fashion. We ordered the roasted potatoes with chili crunch and garlic aioli--had enjoyed a lot of roasted potatoes but never anything with this combination of flavors. Honest, one of the best potato dishes we have enjoyed and something I will be making at home when we are not visiting Lincoln City (imitating is the highest form of a compliment)! We ordered the mushroom pizza from the menu and the special butternut squash pizza and both were outstanding 10/10! The dough is a traditional Naples style and from the counter seating we could see the instant spring of the crust as it entered the open wood-fired oven (extra bonus of counter seating). The tomato sauce is fresh and bright and we could see the care and attention to details that went into preparing each personal pizza. For desert we enjoyed a fall spiced honey cake from the daily specials and it too was excellent. If you are looking for a swanky cool vibe, attentive staff and amazing dining in Lincoln City then make sure you check out Hearth & Table. We will be coming back every time we are in town.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our dinner here. The salad and pizza were fantastic and the server was so friendly. You could tell the guys in the kitchen were a well-oiled machine which is always fun to observe. The tables are quite close, but the music was loud enough that you weren't entirely in other conversations.

Yelp
We've driven past so many times but never realized there was a restaurant inside. After seeing the reviews we decided to stop in. The place is quite small, so with minimal tables available they've got a sign-in clipboard hanging at the entry from which they'll call you when a table empties. Service was very friendly and attentive, and the wait for the food was pretty fast. They've got a small but attractive menu. We opted for sharing a pizza and salad, and both tasted as good as they looked. Very fresh ingredients, great flavors, perfectly wood fired. We'd love to try other pizzas...will definitely return!

Yelp
Very cute place- such a treasure! The staff was kind and attentive. The Caesar salad was tangy and flavorful and the pizza had an excellent crust with quality ingredients. We'll be returning!

Christy S.

Yelp
Amazing pizza, cute gift shop next door to peruse while waiting for a table. It's on the cozy side and first come first served so timing might be your biggest struggle. Worth the wait.

Yelp
Since we had a nearby motel room, right on the sand, we wanted to enjoy dinner on the deck and watch the sunset. What better way than to open a bottle of wine and grab a pizza? The wine was from a wine tasting on Friday and the pizza was from the top rated pizzeria in Lincoln City. I called and the lady on the other end of the phone had to ask if they were doing takeout this evening. I guess this is not a brisk part of their business. The place is quite small, cozy and intimate. The open concept kitchen is dominated by their pizza oven. Not many dinner options other than pizza but that is what we wanted anyway and they did not disappoint. Our mixed greens salad was remarkable with prunes, apples, feta and mint. The verde pizza was delicioso with a perfect crust. Everything was fabulous.

Yelp
We visit Lincoln City at least one time a year and noticed this highly rated pizza place in the land of seafood. We were greeted when we walked to this small space with a lot of activity happening. I could see pizzas being plated while we waited and got excited because they looked small (thinking a personal style size). I told my wife we can order what each of us wants and if there is a piece left over, we'll take back to the hotel. The wait wasn't too long (we were there in early March) for a Saturday night. Since we were on vacation we splurged on a very tasty cider and I had a peach mule. They were so good that we debated having a second one, but decided to drive back instead of walking. We also ordered the Olive Oil Focaccia as an appetizer as my wife is a semi-pro baker and I was curious (and hungry) how it stacked up to hers. Hearth & Table's focaccia was excellent. Baked well without being oily the oil and balsamic served with it was excellent. There is enough there for 4 people to enjoy so half of ours went back to the hotel with us. Then we ordered two pizzas because I thought they looked small while we were waiting for our table. Clearly, I need to have my eyes checked. The pizzas are not small and two people could share one pretty easy. I don't regret ordering two though, since my wife and I enjoy trying different things. I ordered the Fungo and asked if I could add pepperoni and she had the Giardino. They are making some great pizzas here and it really was the highlight meal of the 5 days were on the coast. We did finish with a chocolate chip cookie that was amazing. It was so good two days later we wanted to stop by and pick up another one, but they were closed. You definitely cannot go wrong stopping by Hearth and Table while you're on the coast, but be patient because a lot of other folks know about it too.

Yelp
Great wood fired pizza! We ate here on a getaway before having our second child, and loved it. Food quality was top notch, flavor was great, and priced fairly for an upscale pizzeria. Service was great as well. Probably not as good for families/kids as it is for date nights/just adults.. it's just fairly compact. I forgot to note the type of pizza we got, but the one with grapes haha. We ordered half without them, but either way would recommend it. Focaccia was very good too. Great stop in Lincoln city!

Yelp
Oh myyyyyyyy word, this place was amazing every step of the way. The servers were warm, friendly, and attentive. The vibe was great with good colors, textures, and cleanliness. But the food!!!!!! Olives were made with an orange peel that made my tastebuds very happy. The salad was fresh, pizza was perfectly fired and oh the tiramisu!!!!!!

Yelp
We stopped in for dinner last night and everything was TOP NOTCH from the second we walked in the door. We were offered drinks while we waited for a table (MUCH appreciated) and were sat as soon as a table opened up. We had the burrata and the Vigneto pizza and they were both SOOOOOOO delicious!! I love the open kitchen and that the chefs deliver the food. GREAT experience and we will be back ASAP!!!

Yelp
W O W!!!! This joint is BOOMIN An incredibly intimate experience with great company. The 25-30 minute wait was well worth it. The service was fantastic and the food... TO COME BACK FOR the typa food where you book a holiday just to go eat at your favorite joint! the typa joint where you want to shake the owner, chef, waitress and bus boys hand! The caesar salad was crunchy and the ANCHOVY!! I thought it was bacon!!! That was my first time having an anchovy and it was salty but lucious!! I like! The pepperoni was scrummy. Glad me n my patna got one for the road for a lil late night shhhmack. The drinks were sturdy, my peach mule was delish-- wasn't on the menu but the owner has specials!!

Yelp
Awesome pizza, by far the best I've had out here on the coast. Superb crust, delicious toppings and overall a great menu. Service is also top and the place is tiny and intimate. They only got like 6 tables, it's super small, so be prepared for a long wait and small groups might work, but I can't see easy seating for more than 4 people without it getting difficult. They could easily fill double the space and tables, wait until the city is humming in summer, the place will be bananas. I also didn't see anyone picking up pizza, so I'm not sure if they do takeout. Warning, they don't have parking, no issue if you are well on foot, there is a public lot right down to the road. We'll be back, it's going to be a favorite for sure.

Yelp
This place can easily be missed if you blink while driving by. But so worth looking for. I thought it was such a cute place. Looks kinda fancy but the vibe was chill. Our waitor was very friendly and inviting. The place was crispy clean. Pizza was hot and tasty. The pepperoni had good quality taste to it. Will try again for sure.

Yelp
Hearth and Table is by far our favorite restaurant in Lincoln City. The food is sophisticated and delicious, with a clear emphasis on comfort. I really love the pizza... it's more in the realm of traditional italian; thin and chewy crust, with delicious combinations of very high quality ingredients. That said, we don't always order the pizza. The small plates are so good it's hard to save room for a pizza. We love the oven roasted potatoes with red pepper and aioli. The salads are fantastic, difficult to choose between so we occasionally order both. The lamb koftas are so good, perfectly balanced with the tahini and herb salad. But definitely save room for dessert. We love them all but usually end up with the almond cake... such a perfect way to finish off the meal. Perhaps better than the food is the atmosphere... it's a small restaurant with a very lively feel. There's often a wait. In the summer we get there early to beat the crowds. Even when the place is full (and it usually is) everyone is happy to be there and the line moves pretty quickly. Order a cocktail and check out the little shop next door. I've never left disappointed. Actually, I've never left without an ear to ear grin and a very satisfied appetite.

Yelp
It was a hella rainy day and getting to a restaurant before dark was just the thing. But 3 times turning around looking for this place and its parking wasn't just a pain it was a bit dangerous. Then we have to walk through downspouts pouring onto the sidewalk to enter the front of the building. As we enter the music is too loud. We eat out often and it's unusually loud I have a balence disorder and I am starting to slump and lose my thinking. I ask the waitress if she can turn down the music. She gives this weird reply but just the tiniest bit? I tell her after I need it actually turned down or I can't stay. She's says oh well that's too bad! We were incredible as to such a rude, aggressive statement in a dining establishment. We left, then hit the median causing a flat in the dark rain. All this instead of being welcomed inside to eat comfortably. Why are you in the restaurant business? I will not eat anywhere not accommodating to a persons disabilities when able to do so.

Yelp
Where do I begin!! We took a chance on Yelp's top recommendations and are we glad. The two vegetation pizzas we ordered for three of us had so many great flavors. I know my pallette did NOT want to be cleansed! Glad I just had water so I could enjoy every nuance. Will definitely come again next time I'm in town.

Yelp
Lovely place with excellent service and attention to detail. Opening salad was delicious and we thought the pizza was really outstanding. We have lived in, and enjoyed eating delicious pizza in, three of the great pizza cities; New York, New Haven and Portland, OR. This was a real contender!
google avatar

Yelp
The best place to eat in Lincoln City, hands down. Amazing service, delicious cocktails, and the food is to die for. The whole operation runs like a well-oiled machine, meaning your experience is flawless and meal coursed out perfectly. If you're visiting the coast, make this place apart of your visit. It is tiny, so expect to wait, but they will happily set you up with a cocktail while you do so.

Yelp
Pizza is perfection. Good wine selection. Beautiful restaurant. Caesar salad was recommended and lovely.

Yelp
amazing food and service. we had the Verde Pizza and lamb skewers and we already want to come back. decorated very cute

Yelp
Phenomenal. The wood fired salmon, ricotta pizza special was perfection. The tiramisu moist. The music was nostalgic for us 90's kids/teenagers. We found ourself singing along, even heard the chef a few times. We chose their offer to sit at the bar/counter overlooking the open style kitchen. It was fun to see them make the food and pizzas. The chef gave us a warm welcome as we sat, answering any questions we had, brought out our food and even helped bus tables when they had time. Our server and other staff were exceptionally kind and attentive. We look forward to going back and trying another tour of pizza.

Yelp
This place was really good. Super nice servers & pizza chefs. Pizzas were amazing especially the Margherita pizza. Such amazing flavor!!! Only possible drawbacks are there isn't much seating & really no parking... there is a public lot just down the street.

Yelp
Pizza & food excellent. The restaurant is quite small & popular. No reservations. Best to arrive just before 5:00pm. Only about 6 tables. Service & food very high quality. We had Pizza, salad & desert. Top notch. Highly recommend. Hearth Table will not disappoint.

Yelp
Five out of five out of five! Fantastic place. Amazing vibes. Go there get your name on the board early order a delicious drink and enjoy the music. What a wonderful spot this place. This place was made with love the food is spectacular- we ordered the Insalata di campagna for starter. Top 3 salads I have had in my life. The dressing wasn't overpowering. Each ingredient was built on each other. Feta, walnuts, celery cut on the bias, fresh berries, arugula, sweet onion, basil perhaps I swear there was maybe a few mint leaves. Yum devoured it. Each of us order a pizza - I went with the prosciutto pizza with fresh sage (saltimbocca) the sage ended up lightly kissed by the wood fire - Great delicate add of flavor. We also ordered the vigneto pizza - fennel sausage, grapes, balsamic reduction. Grapes and sausage - amazing - hits your sweet and salty crave coupled with the fire roasted chewy crust. Amazing! Before leaving don't forget a dessert to take to the beach or to cozy up with your cuddle buddy to share. It's July strawberries are in season they are offering a frozen ice cream style dessert with strawberry compote with what I believe to be a crumble - took me back to a way better version of an Italian grandma's frozen strawberry pie - a deconstructed version that will send you straight back and pull on your heart strings. This place checked all the boxes - enjoy!!
google avatar

Rachel S.

Yelp
Omgosh this pizza is amazing! We just got the pepperoni and a side of ranch to go but now I want to go back and try everything else!

Yelp
The only thing I got from Hearth and Table was their delicious chocolate torte. WOW! I've been thinking about it ever since. I docked one star because I was charged $10 per instead of $8 (which is printed on their website menu). I ordered two slices so I paid an extra 4 bucks. Didn't realize until I left.
google avatar

Jenny W.

Yelp
Wow! Fresh ingredients and super flavorful. We had the Focaccia Bread for an appetizer and it was the best bread I'd ever had, no joke. We shared the Insalata di Campagana salad and loved the fresh fruit! The Saltimdocca pizza was another excellent choice. We also had the elderflower gimlet and the pear passion. I preferred the gimlet, but both were good. So so delicious!! We'll be returning for sure! The people were so friendly and attentive as well so an overall positive vibe.

Jon N.

Yelp
Small intimate restaurant with great vibes, wonderful food, and good service. We arrived around 6pm and had to wait nearly an hour for a table. This was the biggest downside, however, we enjoyed a drink as we waited for a table and we were seated soon enough. The upside of limited seating is that there is little wait for food once you're seated. Thank you Hearth and Table staff for a great evening.
google avatar

Yelp
Holy freaking moly. This place does NOT fool around. My partner and I were making a quick trip to LC and decided on this spot. It took approximately 10-15 mins to be sat down (we arrived around 5:45-6pm, perfect time!) and were greeted with smiles from the host to the chefs! It is a very tight vibe since seating is very close, but with the music playing you can't really hear any conversations, which is nice when I wasn't expecting that. Everything we got from the drinks to the dessert (not pictured, immediately devoured as soon as it hit our table) was absolutely amazing. Ingredients tasted fresh and you could tell the love put into everything. Something I really enjoyed is every time one of the chefs would bring out a plate they always asked if we needed a refill or anything else - teamwork! This will be my new favorite restaurant in LC and I hope it will be for you too.

Yelp
Fabulous spot. Couldn't eat with friends tonight as they are Closed for vacation to mid-October. Just call ahead!
google avatar

Greg C.

Yelp
Service and food were excellent. They only have a few tables so we waited for a few minutes but they made us great cocktails in the meantime. The wood fire pizzas did not disappoint but they have several other things on the menu that looked great. We'll have to try next time.

Carol S.

Yelp
I finally got to eat at this restaurant and it was so good!! I ordered a fresh basil and prosciutto pizza. also an elderflower drink. everything was delish!! The hours are not ideal but the wait was definitely worth it!! very pleasant surroundings and friendly wait staff!!
google avatar

Lisa S.

Yelp
We came here today for their happy hour special - $15 margherita pizza. We had a couple of drinks to go with it as well. The drinks were nothing special and at $14 each, they are not discounted at happy hour. The pizza, though, was great. Just a tad bit oversalted in a few spots for my taste, but the crust was amazing, nicely blistered without being burnt; very crisp and light, not bready at all. Service was excellent and both drinks and pizza came out pretty quickly. The salads they were serving looked great too, but we didn't have enough appetite to eat more than a pizza. The space is nicely decorated, but small - since they don't take reservations, you may want to consider coming here early before the dinner rush. We will certainly return on our next trip to Lincoln City to try the other pizzas and salads on the menu.

Yelp
What a weekend to spend in Lincoln City! First, the weather was absolutley gorgeous and then we find Hearth & Table for our Saturday night dinner. Great pizza has been missing from the area - until now. Everything, from service to ambiance to food & drink was fantastic. We started with a couple of cocktails, expertly made along with the marinated olives (with a surprising touch of heat) and ceasar salad (the chicory and crumbled croutons were a pleasant addition to this classic.) The standouts however, were the pizzas. We had two, the evening special (rosemary roasted tomato w/ chevre) and the Vigneto (grapes on a pizza? Who knew?!?) Side note - they are just as good the next day for lunch! The Italian Almond Cake was a great way to close the meal. I hope locals and visitors support this place often. They are delivering a top tier product. Bravo Hearth & Table team. We will see you again!
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious! We loved everything from the cocktails and starters to the pizza and dessert. The service was great as well. Highly recommend! We will be back next time we are in Lincoln City!

Yelp
Omg a new favorite!!! So happy we tried this spot, we will definitely be back! Great food, great ambiance for a coast get away!

Yelp
Excellent food, cocktails, and dessert!!! Recommend without reservation. Even my picky 10 year old was extremely happy. The ingredients were wonderful and the pizza, cocktails and the 3 desserts we tried were equal to the best I've ever had. Perfect pear cocktail and lamb kofta pizza were standouts.
google avatar

Kathryn S.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and service. Plus the food was delicious! Sorry I didn't take any pics!

Brian H.

Yelp
Loved the food. I got the musho pizza and my wife got pepperoni. Both were excellent. We got some cookies to go and they were perfect. Couldn't have been happier
google avatar

Mel S.

Yelp
Food and service were both wonderful. The lamb kefta was amazing, especially drawn through the tahini. Our fungi pizza was equally as delish. We will be back!

Stephanie R.

Yelp
Went here during our recent trip to Oregon coast. The restaurant is small with limited seating but it is cozy and a great vibe/atmosphere. The Caesar salad is the best I've ever had. The pizza was fabulous too! Highly recommend the restaurant.

Yelp
The food, service and ambiance were incredible and we loved the mocktails - definitely will visit again.

Yelp

Yelp
Truly some of the best pizza I've had. Kids loved the pepperoni. The lamb kofta pizza with feta and greens was incredible. Potatoes with chili crisp was a terrific starter. Don't forget the fresh baked chocolate chip cookie at the end.
google avatar

Tracy P.

Yelp
The food was very good. We came in at 6 it was about a 30 min wait. We had the Cesar salad an Italian sausage pizza (can't remember the name) and The Bianca Pizza. The Cesar had a real anchovy I'd never eaten one before. It was pretty good. The sausage pizza was spicy but not too bad. The crust is Devine. The service is great. They don't do take out so they can focus in their dine in customers. The Bianca was my favorite kinda melted in my mouth.

Mathew L.

Yelp
Best Pizza on the coast by a long shot. Easily on par with Portland pizza. Woodfired and cooked to yummy perfection. Great people even better pizza!!

Yelp
Wow! Wow! Drove past this restaurant several times on Hwy 101 and finally stopped for dinner tonight. Fennel sausage for an appetizer that was absolutely delicious with my Maple Amerreto Sour cocktail. Amazing! Main course was the Vignetto Wood fired pizza which had crushed tomatoes, mozerrella, fennel Sausage, arugula, grapes, parmiggiano regianno cheese, and a delightful balsamic reduction. Absolutely delightful! Service was great! Only 5 tables at the restaurant in various sizes so I felt lucky to get seated right away at 5 pm on a Saturday evening. By the time I left there was a long line. Those waiting enjoyed the cocktails while watching the chefs do their magic in the kitchen. Music was jazzy/blues. Fun atmosphere! Well done! Will be back.
google avatar

Craig B.

Yelp
Intimate, friendly, and incredibly delicious! I can't say enough about how amazing the food was. Between the specials and the menu, it was hard to decide what to order. Plus, the NA drink/mocktail menu was expansive. It will be a must stop when I'm in Lincoln City. I can't wait to return and try something different!

Alex C.

Yelp
Such a good new and modern spot in Lincoln City. The service and food and ambiance (very small but cute) were all wonderful and I'm so excited to go back! Couldn't say enough nice things about this place!
