Where To Eat After A Run Along The West Side Highway - New York - The Infatuation

"With a bunch of entrances from 34th Street down to Gansevoort, the Highline is really easy to access from the West Side Highway. So when you feel like eating, run up a few stairs, pretend you don’t hear the tourists asking you to take their pictures, and sit down at Hearth’s seasonal location that’s basically on 10th Avenue - just a couple stories above the ground. Get the roasted beet salad and a glass of bubbly, and then go with the braised pork sandwich, which has chili slaw and honey that soak into the bun - it’s the best thing here." - matt tervooren

The Manhattan Bar Directory

"Highlands is a Scottish bar that serves – you guessed it – Scotch. But not in a sedate, sip from a tumbler in a leather chair way. The Highlands is more of a party, and it can often get crowded. Think of it as the West side version of The Wren." - katherine lewin, hillary reinsberg

21 Best Outdoor-Dining Picks in NYC 2019

"Hearth’s slightly sunken High Line patio offers Hudson River views, tight communal tables, and a rosé-forward concession; the food remains solidly casual and satisfying—think a bun-dwarfing grass‑fed beef hot dog or a crusty sandwich stuffed with creamy ricotta and garlicky broccoli rabe—perfect for an urban picnic if crowds don’t bother you." - Grub Street

Open as of June 2021 again! Great drinking spot which overlooks the river just on the highline. You can even see the statue of liberty from the benches. Friendly staff and well priced drinks given the location. Toilets are located 100yards north on the highline. Small bites dishes are tasty too!

This place is an absolute must! The views, the location, the service is really everything you could ask for. My family and were walking the high line and randomly stopped by and so glad we did. Our server Rylan was one of the kindest individuals i have ever met - he’s knowledge of the city, inquisitive nature, and smile was truly contagious. Definitely going to stop by again

Nice, great location for a beer after High line walk. But 11 bucks for a beer is pretty much...

Google
Great place to stop and have a beer. All beers are local, so it's a great place to visit on your highline walk.

Came upon this place while on the Highline. I had a Prosecco and a wonderful plate of Hummus, Crudite, and Olives with about 15 pieces of Crostini to accompany. It was all delicious and a nice amount for a snack. The two guys begins the counter were super friendly (Andy?Jarred? It's been about 3 weeks and my memory isn't what it used to be). I really loved this place and it's not directly on the Highline path so it was nice to step out if the crowd for a bit. It's lower than the highline so you have to look for it. I'm glad i know about this place and highly recommend it. Thank you, guys, for being so happy!!!
