I could not be happier with Heartland Hospice, specifically Genesis, she is absolutely the most compassionate, caring person I have ever met. She keeps me updated and actually spends time with my loved one. From the moment I met her I knew my loved one would be in good hands. The entire staff I have had contact with have all been so nice. I would highly recommend and have recommended Heartland Hospice.

Our experience with Heartland was incredibly positive. They made Mom's comfort top priority and their support for us made this difficult time easier to bear. Always accessible & providing much needed physical & emotional support. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Heartland is a great choice for hospice care. We chose them for my father and they were incredibly attentive to his needs, but also listened to our concerns. Highly Recommended!

The entire team from Heartland was very kind and supportive throughout their time with our mother. They all provided extraordinary comfort and care, any medical equipment needed and were genuinely nice people. Very much appreciated. Thank you.

We use Heartland Hospice at the retirement community I work at. I know when I recommend them to families that their loved ones will receive optimal care. From their marketing rep to nurses to aides, everyone is so caring and involved.

My husband needed way more care at home that I could provide. We were introduced to heartland hospice. I was terrified, I’m not giving up on him. From the beginning Dina guided me through the process. That was March. Since then I have a new family looking out for us. Ralph is my new son!! He knows my husband better than I do. Betce always here when I get scared!!! Just a phone call away. Blessings he is truly a blessing. Best for last, Christina the social worker, she just guides me through everything, I text her pls answer when you’re working. She’s always working!!!! Hope I didn’t forget anybody. Shout out Coleen!! I couldn’t live another day with out all of you. From my heart. Love you all

Awesome CNAs, very caring individuals towards our senior mother with dementia. We treasure the weekly updates; they advocate for our mother.

Heartland allowed my Mother to pay for prescriptions that should have been paid through Hospice. It was only when I reported them to the State did they agree to reimburse her as well as other patients. Some as far back as a year. . Heartland and Arden Courts are owned by Manor Care. All under the same umbrella. Assisted living facilities claim they can provide care for hospice but that is not an accurate statement. Hospice care amounts to two- 30 minute visits by their nurse and maybe 3 hours a week by their aide. Then once a month a short visit by a music therapist, spiritual person and Social worker. That pretty much sums it up. The assisted living facility does absolutely nothing more than they did before hospice care. Their theme appears to be “ empty beds do not make money”. If you are seeking hospice care, look carefully and know that Heartland would not be a recommended as well as Arden courts.
