Heartland Hospice

My grandmother had been declining for months, and when we realized she was ready for hospice, Heartland was there for us immediately. We had heard mixed things about some of the larger hospices in the area, so we wanted a more family-centered, personal experience for her; Heartland provided exactly that. Christina and Sonni were incredibly attentive, visiting every day during that last week. It truly felt like they had known her for years. In her final days, she was comfortable, and they took the time to teach us everything we needed to know. Their guidance, grace, and compassion carried us through a very difficult time, and we’re so grateful for the care they gave both to her and to us. We absolutely made the right choice. If you are considering hospice, Heartland is 10/10 care. We also heard wonderful things about their volunteer and veteran programs, our time was just too short to experience them - but they sound exceptional. In your family’s time of need, Heartland truly is the best in the area.

My father received care from the Heartland Hospice team this past year and we could not have been happier with the level of care my Dad received and the support given to our family. Everyone from the nurses, social worker, aides, to the chaplain have been nothing but professional, compassionate, and exceptionally caring. What an amazing group of people! Heartland Hospice is an amazing hospice agency that provides an extraordinary level of care. The staff are attentive and handle any issues that come up right then and there. I am a social worker, and the clients have had nothing but amazing reviews for Heartland, explaining they are happy to have chose them. My grandmother was admitted to Hospice earlier in the year and I think they took excellent care of her. She was 96 and before she decided to go on hospice she was suffering. Heartland allowed her to die peacefully, comfortably, and with dignity. They were responsive to all our calls and questions, and I think they did a wonderful job taking care of her and my family. Even after she passed they were very good to my family and we really appreciate the standard of care that we recieved.

I personally have not had to use Heartland Hospice, but I’ve heard amazing things from close friends. The staff at the Laurel Springs, NJ, are compassionate and professional with their patients and family members. The team goes above and beyond to create a comfortable and respectful environment, giving loved ones peace of mind. I would recommend their services to anyone, and if/when I may need help for my family I would fully trust working with Heartland Hospice.

I could not be happier with Heartland Hospice, specifically Genesis, she is absolutely the most compassionate, caring person I have ever met. She keeps me updated and actually spends time with my loved one. From the moment I met her I knew my loved one would be in good hands. The entire staff I have had contact with have all been so nice. Have been with Heartland for some time now for my mother. An excellent group with great service. The nursing staff truly cares for the patients. Very responsive all hours if you call them. Even the administrator is available should you need to speak with him. I would definitely recommend them for a loved one.
