This review is so long overdue! I have lived at Heartline for going on 5 years now and I cannot say enough amazing things about not only this complex, but the people who work tirelessly to ensure that the residents here are home. Lesley is an absolute rock star - I don't know what phrase means to go above 'above and beyond' but when I figure it out... I think it must mean to "Lesley it" because that woman gets things done (and in style). Not only that, the entire team has pretty much remained the same since I've been a resident, which I love. From the front office, to the maintenance crew, they're all great - so gracious and willing to help whenever they can. I absolutely love living at Heartline, can't recommend it enough!

The leasing team at Hearten Apartments, particularly Lesley, Alex, and Chrissy provided exceptional service throughout my residency. There were consistently responsive and made me feel like a valued member of the community. The apartments feature beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows that create a bright, spacious atmosphere. Overall, this has been the most positive apartment living experience that I have ever had, thanks to the quality of the property and the outstanding management team.

I truly have so many positive things to say about Heartline, their staff and the building my partner and I have lived and called home for the last 2 years. We had moved to Portland from across the country and are now moving again and we are sad to leave Heartline. If we were staying in Portland, we would absolutely be staying and wouldn’t consider looking elsewhere. The building is beautiful and so well maintained - along with the units. We have lived in 2 seperate apartments during our time and we never had any issues with either. Their communication and care really stands out. Lesley Woltze, Chrissy Lowe and Alex Holman have been amazing. I’ve lived in many different apartment buildings throughout my life and have never had the level of white glove service and care as we have experienced with these 3. They really care about their renters and it shows. Highly, highly recommend Heartline to anyone looking for their next home. We were so lucky to have found them.

The Heartline is a wonderful place to call my home. From the spacious and modern apartments (I’ve lived in two units!) to the friendly staff and amenities, there is so much to love about the Heartline. The rooftop is perfect for sunset wine and grilling. The fitness center is well-equipped and always clean! The cinema room, with it’s comfy couches, is perfect for entertainting friends who are in town. The social events that building hosts are a great way to build community and get to know your neighbors. I highly recommend living in the Pearl with the Heartline as your next home!

I moved from Chicago to Portland sight unseen. I had a slew of Amazon boxes delivered before I arrived. I had a mattress delivered before I arrived. Lesley and Chrissy had the packages moved to my apartment and had the mattress-delivery put the mattress in the apartment before my airplane landed. That was a stressful day and everything worked out. Thank you. The apartment is in a great neighborhood. Everything is clean and tidy. If only there was a better, or ethnic grocery store nearby. Highly recommended.

There are a lot of upscale buildings in Portland, but Heartline is on another level. From leasing to move-in to everyday living, it's clear that the staff genuinely care about the residents. The building and individual units are beautiful, well-appointed, and offer incredible views. All of this translates to happy neighbors who seem to be in agreement that we're lucky to live here. I'm so grateful to have landed at Heartline.

I signed a one year lease at Heartline in June of 2021, and at the three month mark I was already asking to extend my lease another year. Prior to moving into Heartline, I lived in New York City where I lived in high-end residential buildings and smaller pre-war buildings alike. I’ve seen my fair share of management companies, and I’ve experienced all different levels of service. Heck, I work at a company which manages 35,000 properties across the country! If there’s anyone who knows the challenges tenants face with their property’s management staff, it’s me. Let me tell you, Heartline is the place to live if you want peace-of-mind, comfort, an excellent lifestyle and friendly and generous neighbors. Heartline is by far the best building I’ve ever lived in with the best staff and amenities I’ve had available to me. Lesley, Chrissy, Todd and Alex are reliable, kind, genuinely caring, supportive of each of their residents’ unique way of living, helpful, accommodating and are committed to the well-being and happiness of both those who live in the building and their guests. My studio apartment is absolutely gorgeous. It is appointed with fantastic appliances (including a dishwasher and in-unit washer/dryer - both of which are a big deal coming from NYC), beautiful rich wood floors and a HUGE bathroom including a beautiful floating vanity with lots of storage. The space boasts an industrial feel with exposed concrete ceilings and columns, and exposed ductwork. Overall, the space is sexy, chic and has a non-intimidating sense of luxury. I recently took a seven week vacation across the country, and Chrissy took care of my plants for me. We’re talking visits to the apartment every week and a half. WOW! Also amazing, Lesley took any packages that arrived up to my apartment for me. I couldn’t ask for better service from a management company’s staff. These amazing humans are unlike any I’ve ever encountered in my time renting apartments. Heartline’s amenities are over-the-top amazing too. My favorite is the roof deck with grills, dining tables for evening dinners with friends overlooking the setting sun and hills, a fire pit, a reflecting pool and a community garden! Then there’s the hub lounge. I reserved the lounge to throw a dinner party for coworkers, and the space couldn’t have been more inviting, warm, comfortable, well-appointed and it was super clean. Between the chef’s kitchen, large dining table, living room furniture, TV and HUGE fireplace, everyone felt at home and like they were having a luxury experience! Did I mention there’s a gym? I must admit, I’ve been naughty and haven’t used it as much as I should, but the times I have used it, it has felt perfectly stocked with equipment and is always clean. Every time I encounter someone looking at an apartment in the building I make a point to flag them down and gush about everything that Heartline has to offer. I could go on and on (obviously), but let me leave you with this one piece of advice… If you’re looking for an apartment in the pearl district that is warm, inviting, luxurious and which is run by a down-to-earth, stellar staff, look no further than Heartline. Contact them today - run, don’t walk.

My partner and I relocated from New Orleans almost 1 year ago. We had 1 day to find an apartment before we had to fly back, and spent that time looking at 15 properties in the Pearl and downtown. By far, Lisa at Heartline was the most helpful. Lisa even took the time to go through our list of properties, give us objective feedback on each and gave us names of contacts they had at other properties. At no point was there a hard sell, she truly was committed to helping us find the right home, even if it wasn't with them. That's huge. I was sad when Lisa transferred to another property, but it was for a much deserved promotion, so I was thrilled for her. We chose Heartline based upon the location, the high quality finishes, but most important the sincerity of the office staff. Leading up to the move, the staff went above and beyond to help with anything that would make our 2000+ mile move as easy as possible. After moving in, I was blown away by the absolute impeccable condition of the apartment, and the continued level of sincere, kind service. The staff from the office to maintenance are truly driven by a desire to take care of their residents. The maintenance team is incredible, with a high attention to detail. The building is maintained and cleaned from top to bottom constantly. I've been in the hotel business for most of my career, and the level of attention is truly on par with a 5 star property. Maintenance actually lives on property, which is rare these days, so any issues get taken care of immediately. Chrissy, Charlotte and Lesley are what I refer to as "unicorns" in the industry. Not only are they exceptional at managing the highly complex needs of a property, but they are exceptional people. Usually you get one or the other, but rarely both. As a hospitality leader, I know the challenges of managing the expectations of a large group of people. I've personally observed them handle truly bizarre behavior from a small number of residents with patience, kindness and grace, while also making sure that the overall resident experience is maintained. I get the keen impression that as a whole, the entire team doesn't approach their jobs as to lease apartments, but to provide homes. Plus, we LOVE our apartment! Single family home level of finishes, energy efficient, wonderful views! I miss home, but I'm deeply thankful that Lisa, Charlotte, Chrissy and Lesley have given me a new home that I can feel safe and happy in.

I love it here. From the initial tour, to the online application, moving in, and everything since, it's been nothing but pleasant. The Heartline team, both in the office and on maintenance, is always friendly and helpful. They're communicative through the resident portal and quick to reply to emails, which is a big deal since the office is usually closed by the time I get home from work. There's also a real sense of community here among residents. Packages are super easy with (free!) Fetch. You just choose when you want your things delivered and they take them right up to your door. The call box makes it easy to buzz visitors into the building and up the elevator. Even with most people being home right now due to coronavirus, I almost never hear my neighbors. Additionally, management has been extremely proactive to help keep residents and staff healthy during all of this. I feel safe here and wouldn't want to be under "stay home" orders anywhere else. Sure, you could live at any luxury apartment complex in the Pearl and get similar apartments (well, most other places don't have GAS STOVES but Heartline does!) and amenities, but it's the overall experience you'll get at Heartline that truly sets it apart. I'm so glad I get to call this place home!

So far, so great. Alex and team were helpful with getting the right Apartment for our adult son to attend Willamette PNCA. They also been super responsive with supportive with Prep for move-in.

Living at Heartline has been nothing but a pleasure. Even with the transition of management our questions & concerns were always met with a friendly face and resolution. The property is well maintained, amenities are outstanding and the location is prime. The Heartline office crew & maintenance are the best! Lesley is the new manager and she's AMAZING. Super down to earth and very helpful. We move as our family expands but will always remember this incredible place we called home.

I lived here from 2020 till 2023, when I moved from LA. Brand new to the city, and not knowing anyone, Heartline gave me a home beyond any expectations I had. If you are considering a place to live in Portland, you will not find a place better than Heartline. Going over and beyond what is expected of an apartment complex, Heartline is a home and the people that work here make it a welcoming and amazing place to live in. Everyone working here - Lesley, Chrissy, Alex, other Alex, and Todd are exceptionally good at what they do. Chrissy and other Alex were always on top of any day-to-day requests I had and organized events for Residents to interact, Todd and Alex were prompt and thorough about all the maintenance requests I had over the years. Lesley is a gem - she made sure every resident behaved within expectations so that everyone had good home - I will miss her emails. Heartline is clean, well maintained, thoroughly looked after and cared for. The rooftop 360deg views are unparalleled, the rooftop garden is such a gem, the shared amenities are all well maintained and easily accessible, and there is a team is here that will make sure you're at a place that you can truly call home. I hope I'll be lucky enough to find a place like this as I move back to LA. I will miss the team here, and the place that made me feel so secure and cared for.

I viewed this apartment years ago when it was first built, knew I wanted to live here. Finally got a place a month ago and I couldn't be happier. The floor to ceiling windows bring in a ton of light and really make my place look bigger. The bathtub is really deep if you enjoy taking baths and not freezing! The lighting under the cabinets in the kitchen help when you're preparing food. The exposed brick gives the place that industrial but modern look. The staff... I can't say enough! All very nice and helpful. The neighborhood is perfect for all your needs... grocery store, restaurants, liquor store, design within reach, all just a block away.

I know typically people review apartments based on having lived there for a few months. I felt it important to update my review of Heartline as I recently renewed my lease and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. My original 5 stars stands and continue to be impressed by the incredible property management, maintenance team, and housekeeping. I feel so lucky to live here!

Love living at the Heartline. If you are looking for an apartment in the Pearl District, Heartline is the best. Having lived here for almost 2 years, the management, staff, and maintenance have consistently been kind, helpful, and always available. Quality and style of the building is great and will hold up over time. With the COVID-19 epidemic the management has been extremely helpful, flexible, and continue to stay engaged with the residents. They helped me in a tough situation and I will always appreciate it. Highly recommend!

The luxury building amenities alone will sell you on a move to Heartline, but it's the staff that will make you want to stay. Chrissy, Lesley, and team have been incredibly helpful, communicative, and reassuring especially during this stressful COVID season. That has made such a lasting and positive impact on my stay and I suspect many others at Heartline. The Heartline team provides exceptional service in all areas (leasing management, events, security, facilities professionals, etc) and go above and beyond in making tenants feel like they are a part of community and home. This includes the many shared bottles of wine, Sunday brunch muffins and mimosas that I will sincerely miss. I would highly recommend this building to anyone I know and love. Also, I never write yelp reviews unless the place is really uber special... :)

Stellar apartment building! Everyone in the leasing office is amazing (I just dare you to find someone who doesn't love Nona!) and the sense of community that they've created is perfect! We've made tons of friends and had a blast since moving to Portland. Whether it's the events in the lounge or cinema room, the awesome weekly fitness classes with Guided Fitness in the gym, or the icebreaker activities that they hold almost monthly, I couldn't be happier about our decision to move here.

Heartline is an amazing place to live-- I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone in the area. The building is secure, clean, and quiet, and the staff is INCREDIBLE. The property manager, leasing staff, and maintenance team are all so friendly and helpful.
