"With black sesame seeds ground non-stop by the two stone mills at the door, you can tell what this shop is famous for – sweet black sesame soup, ice cream, pudding… and black sesame rolls prized for their intense flavour and chewy texture." - Michelin Inspector

A fabulous black sesame snack place. We bought the black sesame soft serve ice cream, and one box of black sesame rolls. Please note you can only buy one box of rolls per person. A friend came here a few days before my visit, and was told the rolls are not available until after 2pm; I arrived at 145pm and managed to get one box. I went on a weekday whereas she went on a weekend, so maybe there is a difference. The ice cream has a very strong and not too sweet black sesame flavour. The waffle cone is black too, but tastes like any other waffle cone. I would come again for the ice cream. The black sesame rolls are also not too sweet, which I liked. The menu is only in chinese, but is easily translated using a translation app; the staff can take orders in English. I will come again to try the other items. Strongly recommend if you are in the Prince Edward or Sham Shui Po area!

Little takeaway shop in Hong kong that dedicated to all things black sesame. We visited this shop on a Sunday afternoon and we have to wait 20mins in the queue. We had their black sesame soft serves and their black sesame pudding. The soft serves was so rich in sesame flavor and not too overly sweet. However our favorite has to be the black sesame pudding. Rich, creamy and we can really tell that they used quality ingredients. Unfortunately the staff was very hot headed and not really polite

Hidden gem near Prince Edward Mtr. The shop owner has two non stop stone mills at the door to grind the black sesame . Tasted on the black sesame hkd 28. Smell good and full of black sesame aroma each bites. Surprisingly good taste of the whole black sesame ice cream. No seats provided. Takeaway .

The super creamy sesame flavored ice cream is absolutely worth the usually long queue! It’s dripping with sesame syrup, and even the waffle cone is lightly sesame flavored!!! It’s almost like a sass me galore! This is such a crowd-pleaser that it’s immensely popular and can get sold out during the day, as they just sometimes don’t make enough for the long lines of customers! It’s sweet but still naturally flavored, and just right, not unhealthily overdosed with added sugar. Also recommended is their sesame pudding and the very traditional sesame soup! If you look behind the counter, you can actually see they have two old style mechanical mortars and pestles to grind the sesame grain into smooth paste before having it made into a range of desserts! So you can actually see that the sesame flavor desserts are not made by some instant mix sugary powder like how it’s usually done in some other shops!

Came on a weekend & queued for approx 20-25 mins. The sesame rolls come out every hour and are limited to 25 boxes until they sell out. Overall I quite liked the ice cream, not too sweet, grainy & creamy - wish they put more sesame sauce on the top. Wasn’t out of this world ice cream but worth trying. The sesame paste soup was v good quality, full of black sesame flavour!

Just as others pointed out, there are queues outside the shop. The times I went are typically weekends however the lines moved really fast and it was less than 15 minutes of queuing in general. I would definitely recommend the ice cream, especially when it’s summer. I am not the biggest fan of the pudding as it is not as nutty and bold compared to the ice cream which has the sesame sauce poured on it. The rolls is nicer compared to the pudding as its more balanced overall. However if you can, get the ice cream. I am truly biased but trust me :)

Black sesame ice cream soft serve was pretty good. While the price was quite high, it was quite nice. The black sesame rolls were okay but I thought for the line up time, it wasn’t worth it. However, I did ask some people in line and they quite enjoyed it.

Heartwarming has become a highly popular spot in Prince Edward. Their sesame sweets are incredibly creamy and flavorful. When visiting, you don’t have to settle for just soft serve—you can also purchase their pudding for takeaway and enjoy its delicious taste at home.
