The atmosphere is quaint and peaceful, and the interaction at front desk was short and sweet. I got the Banoffee milkshake in a 24 oz (paid like $10 including a 10% tip). I have never been, however it was a nice experience considering I was in and out within 5 minutes! As some have said the prices are a little steep, but I honestly don’t care since I treat myself once in a blue moon, so I am a-ok with the pricing! (It’s better than marble slab pricing, that’s for sure!!!) In terms of flavor, yup lots of banana, and a hint of chocolate which I like. The shake itself is silky so I didn’t get any clumps in the drink. Next time I visit, I’ll probably get one of the jars and make a separate review on that! Thanks yall 🎃🍂 Happy Fall!

I had really high hopes for this dessert place. The area and the idea was cute. However, the staff member at the register didn't seem very happy to be working there and the cookies in the pudding were soggy and tasted weird. It was $9 for a small jar, which felt like a lot for what we received. The pudding was good, but not worth the $9! It was 1/3 whipped cream, 1/3 cookie, and only 1/3 of the pudding.

I stopped in on a whim since I wanted something sweet. I was undecided for a while looking at the display case they have several options that look delicious. The jars come in large and regular size and can be enjoyed in the restaurant or taken to go. I chose the Oreo cheesecake and it was delicious. I would certainly go back.

Our kids were begging for ice cream so we googled for places near where we were driving and came up with this place. We all tumbled out of the car excited for ice cream. They were disappointed when we got in and discovered there was only these layered dessert jars or milkshakes. They didn't want milkshakes, they wanted ice cream. But we stayed cuz we'd had a huge day and didn't feel like picking something else! Well it was very nice. We usually would buy 3 or 4 things in a situation like this and share. There is 6 of us and stops like this get very costly. But this time we all decided to get our own. It was pricey for sure at $8.49 per shake and 7.49 for the jar dessert. So I guess it was $49.94 plus tax. Wow! Honestly I'm not sure we would go again. The milkshakes weren't so amazing that they were worth that price but I did appreciate that they were made with real ice cream! Hubby had the key lime pie jar (not pictured) and he liked it but again, not Heaven. Also, my kids didn't all get their first choice milkshake cuz they told us they were nearly out of chocolate ice cream so we could only order 2 shakes that required that and the rest needed to be a vanilla base. We went on a Sunday late afternoon and the place was dead. We were there likely 45 minutes and one other person came in. I feel like they would do well to offer ice cream, even just the couple flavours they carry for the shakes. All families love going for ice cream but it isn't often everyone wants a shake or drink. They do have some other drinks (smoothies, tea, and overnight oats). I guess they aren't an "ice cream" place. I just wonder if they're limiting their business. Need more variety or something to nibble on. That's my opinion! It was an enjoyable time together but likely not a place we'd go again. The decor was simple but classy. We enjoyed the nice seating. There was two areas like that and the rest is simple tables and chairs The staff were very sweet and friendly and very patient with us when our kids took ages to pick their flavours!

Love the store! Nice place to have a little family time while enjoying some dessert. I’ve been here twice so far and service was great. The strawberry cheesecake and red velvet desserts were really good. So the 2nd time I went back to get the bigger jar (because it just wasn’t enough) but they didn’t have it for the flavor I wanted. To me they are a bit pricey, I’m stuck with the little jars I don’t have a use for, but the kids love the strawberry cheesecake so we probably be back soon.

Yes! Dubai strawberry chocolate cup is here and let me tell you, it's so delicious and decadent! Hurry and try it... Heaven in a Jar is located in a strip mall near Hwy 6 and Williams Trace. The desserts are mostly served in small mason jars. The staff were super friendly. They said hello as soon as I walked in. They answered all my questions thoroughly and patiently. Yes, I recommend this place.

Overall it was a really good experience. My Oreo cheesecake was delicious, but a little pricey. However that’s to be expected when you get to keep the jar. It was very good, but a treat I’ll partake in rarely as it is a little expensive and very rich.

There's a very friendly staff, a super cute atmosphere inside, and the desserts are DELICIOUS! We got the Brownie Delight and the Tres Leches Chocolate and they were both incredible. The jars they come in are super cute too. Definitely going back!

I stopped by heaven in a jar with my friend after visiting a store in the strip. When we visited, it wasn't very busy. We got to enjoy the place to ourselves as we ate our dessert. I could definitely see sitting in the space, maybe doing some work, or talking with a friend. It's also kid friendly. There were a lot of different jar options to choose from for dessert, and that's what we came for... we were immediately overwhelmed and full of questions since this was our first time visiting. The cashier was very helpful with sharing the most popular options, and telling us her thoughts on her favorite options. I chose one of her recommendations, which was the brownie delight, and I was absolutely delighted. My friend got the tres leches. His dessert was also very tasty... I was very impressed by the flavor of the cake in that. On another note, if dessert really isn't your thing they also have shakes and juices to choose from. They also do catering, which I thought was really nice... I saw some of the boxes they were preparing and I think that's a great idea for a party.

Heaven in a Jar is a fun dessert option! I'm not sure it really stands out to me, though. The service was alright, not exceptionally good or bad. But the dessert I got was, in fact, quite good. I ordered the brownie jar and it was sooo yummy. I don't like cheesecake (unpopular opinion, I know) so there were fewer options for me. The brownie jar was perfect. It had whipped cream, chocolate mousse, and a brownie at the bottom. It wasn't overwhelmingly chocolatey and it didn't hit me like a ton of bricks after. I would definitely recommend picking one up if you're in the area. The jar desserts would probably be great for parties or as gifts, too! While the dessert itself was good, the service wasn't amazing. I asked about which jars didn't have cheesecake and the employee seemed very unprepared for the question. After she looked it up, she gave me a few options. I didn't feel very welcomed in the shop and almost felt like I was being annoying by asking questions. The employee wasn't rude by any means, but I felt very aware that I was the only person in the store. In the end, while the brownie jar dessert I tried was yummy, I'm not sure I can definitively say that Heaven in a Jar is a must-visit. Check it out if you're in the area but don't sprint from the ends of the Earth to try it. Very middle of the road, which certainly isn't bad.

I mean, the establishment's name is Heaven In a Jar and they stand by that. Good thing the delivery what is promised. I love that the desserts come in reusable glass jars. You can make your own goodies get bows to put on them and add a note with twine and gift your loved ones something sweet. The gift that keeps on giving. They have a delicious banana pudding layered in the jar. I put my spoon down to the very bottom of the jar and pull out the perfect bite! Like little Jack Horner who sat in the corner, eating his Christmas pie. Who stuck in his thumb and pulled out a plum, then said, "What a good boy am I!" So in the same vein, when my spoon comes out with a delicious bite of delicious vanilla cookies, a nice firm banana, whipped cream, and pudding, I say, " What a good girl am I!" Okay, time to stop being silly. The banana pudding is for sure delicious. They have a brownie dessert that is rich with a decadent moist brownie, chocolate chips, pudding, and whipped cream. Very scrumptious, good job HIAJ! Now the key lime pie is pretty good. It just needs a splash or two more of a tart key lime. Make my key lime tart and threaten me with a good time. Nevertheless, it's delicious! Neverthemore, go big or go home with the lime. Definitely need to try this place out!

Heaven in a Jar has to be one of my favorite places for cakes, and the jars make the perfect portion sizes. The cakes are always super delicious, and the consistencies are always just right. Because they are in a jar, they also don't dry out. Pictured are the Chocolate Tres Leches and the regular Tres Leches, and those are my absolute favorites from here. I have to get these every single time. I have also tried their Strawberry Cheese Cake, Brownie Delight, Oreo Cheesecake, Espresso Cheesecake, Red Velvet, and Tiramisu, and every single one of those was super tasty as well. They not only have cakes in a jar but also milkshakes, smoothies, and other treats. I have also tried the Oreo Ice Cream Shake, the Mocha Ice Cream Shake, and the Strawberry Ice Cream Shake, and they were all really good.

Strawberry cheesecake - 4/5 Key Lime Pie - 4/5 Kale Power Smoothie - 5/5 Reese's Ice Cream Shake - 5/5 Cheesecakes are light but I would prefer a crumblier base with some saltiness since the cheesecakes are already sweet. Love the smoothie. Could taste the avocado, honey, and kale in it. Triple love the shake. Saltiness and sweetness overflow in the shake. Yum yum yum The staff was helpful and patient in answering my questions. Thumbs up for the great service!

Went in with my daughter today a tried the Dubai strawberries cup and I've tried it at 3 different places and this was the only place that I didn't eat but two strawberries it's was not the right thing. I wanted to take the cup back.. Ive had there other cakes in a jar and they are delicious but not this one

My daughter loved it and that's what important. I ordered her the Oreo cookie milkshake and the strawberry cheesecake dessert. The milkshake only comes in a jar if you get the smaller one and it's plastic. The large milkshake comes in a regular clear cup. The desserts come in nice little glass jars. The shop was nice and clean and service was friendly. The shake was picture ready and the appearance made it that much better. I would recommend this shop if your a fan of sweets

Ok so I had a sweet tooth and purchased 3. Tres leces , snickers cheese cake and brownie. I tried them all at once. I don't recommend tasting these at the same time as they are very sweet and you will only like the first one you tried. The brownie was the best. A few days later I ate the snickers. I didn't like it, and it is supposedly supposed to be alayer of cheese cake. The texture was giving cheese cake but the flavor wasn't there. I only knew it was cheesecake because it was supposed to be the layer and it felt like it. It's 7.99 a jar and I wouldn't pay no more than $5 for it after tax. The presentation was phenomenal but the value isn't 8$ and some change plus tax. I didn't eat the dulce as wet cake isn't for me, but my baby loved it!

Heaven in a Jar delivered delightful flavors in perfect 8 oz portions. The key lime, tiramisu, and strawberry cheesecake were packed with great flavor. The red velvet leaned more towards cake than a whipped consistency. The strawberry cheesecake was a standout favorite. Even my kids gave their approval, so we'll definitely be ordering from there again.

Absolutely delicious items from here. Everyone we have gotten has been amazing. Plus you get to keep a free mini mason jar!

I have three words for you: TRES LECHES CAKE! It comes in chocolate or regular but so far it's my favorite dessert. If you do not know what this spot is it's a locally owned dessert shop where all items are in mason jars. They have cakes, cheesecake, & pudding for desserts But not only that, they also have smoothies, shakes &overnight oats as well as dips (I haven't tried either yet) They are open pretty late until 10 weekdays and 11 on Sat so great for an evening snack before bed! Even though they are open late make sure you get there pretty early in the day because your favorite flavor might be gone I wouldn't be surprised if this became a chain soon the desserts are so tasty! P.S. if you return the jars you get .50 off your next order per jar!

So, around 8 p.m. every Saturday night, I get these cravings for something sweet. This typically motivates me to hop on ubereats to find some sort of dessert to make my tummy happy. I stumbled across this store and was quite intrigued by the name and menu. "Heaven in a Jar" aye? We'll let my tummy be the judge of that. I ordered the oreo and strawberry cheesecake jars and an Oreo milk shake (go big or go home, right?). The interesting thing about these desserts is that they did not taste very sweet but more savory, there was a hint of light sweetness, air, and toppings, which I was not expecting but.... I also wasn't mad at. I didn't feel AS guilty eating these jars and cake as I would an Oreo Blizzard from DQ. The shake, however, was very sweet. Almost like it said "hold my beer" to the cakes. I enjoyed it but wasn't expecting how sweet it was because of the cakes. I'll give them a try again, simply because although it wasn't what I expected, I was happy with the product. These are probably going to be my "no- guilt" dessert choices.

We came here after a late lunch while shopping on a Sunday. We LOVED our items. They were incredibly good. Not sure why this place isn't packed!! The service was great. We were helped and given our items promptly. Will be back. Great desserts!!

Basically if Barbie was in a jar, this would be her. Swoon. This is an adorable little store doing that familiar concept that you may have seen around the country where they put a cake in a jar and it tastes way less healthy than a cake LOL. It also tastes a lot better than most cakes and I appreciate that they also have Acai, and they do a pretty good job of that. It's somewhere between a 4 and a 5 and it's not very cheap, but their service is wonderful and we're big fans.

The desserts are good but way overpriced for the portion. You could make a dozen jars at home with the price of 1. Just my opinion.

I visited Heaven in a Jar for the first time for a nighttime dessert. I chose this place because of the high Yelp reviews and there is a DISCOUNT IF YOU CHECK-IN so definitely use that! The menu is a bit misleading as for desserts, they only have the desserts in the display shelf (not those in the menu). I assume they only make a bulk of desserts and during the day if those run out, they do not make more. I decided to get the Oreo Milkshake which was good! It was also also something I could probably make at home too, but I did enjoy it. Like expected it was very sugary and definitely for two people unless you want diabetes. There is an area to put the jar's when finished with the milkshake. I would think it would be cool to keep one as a souvenir. Overall, I might be back. I want to try their desserts next time.

Online order: Great idea for an online gift. I wanted to gift my sister a small present for a new career beginning and heaven in a jar came to the rescue! She said it was delicious but of course, I won't comment on that. However, after my intense search, this is a great gifting option in Sugarland. You can order through a bunch of food delivery apps and can select a gift box too. The owner told me that if it's a bulk order, she can make customised stickers too. Definitely consider them if you're looking for an easy online ordering gift!

The strawberry was really delicious. Oreo a little too chocolate for us. Really like that it's not extremely sweet. Melts in your mouth. Overall will be back and will recommend.

I ordered on Grub Hub 2 separate orders. Cancelled one order after realizing I used wrong credit card. Note to self: Always order from store. It was $15 cheaper for 13 jars when I went directly to store front. Great packaging especially since my last name is 'Ball'. Office loved them but best served chilled. Lots of different flavors. Bug hits were brownie and strawberry cheesecake flavors. Perfect gift ideas for housewarmings, showers, children's birthdays, and office snacks. Win-win during Covid too. Only negative: Wish there were more locations throughout Houston.

Heaven In A Jar Large Brownie Ice Cream Shake $8.65 I'll pay this a hundred times over. Taste: The taste lived up to its name. These brownies were amazing, better than mom used to make. Heaven was definitely in my mouth. I started getting sick because I was drinking it so fast. Brain freeze and a sugar rush! Consistency: Very loose. I like mine a little more thick, but the brownie pieces made up for that. Salute to the thick straws! Appearance: From the brownie on top to the chocolate drizzle, this milkshake had personality. Whipped cream was on point and I liked the logo printed on the cup. Once I looked around I realized that the theme is mason jars, so hopefully on my next visit I get to drink out of a jar and get the full Heaven in a Jar experience. Quality of Service: The vibe of this establishment was a mix between sporty and modern. I liked the decor and the seating was comfy. I would recommend a little sweeping. The cashier was very nice and answered my questions very thoughtfully. Ordering was smooth and easy. Definitely will return and try another flavor. Overall Rating: 3 Shakes

My friend and I visited yesterday around 5:30PM when there was only one other customer who was making her way out. We all thought the concept was cute though it's really not anything original. My friend placed his order for the brownie delight ice cream shake and the cashier/shake barista disappeared in the back for a while. When she returned, there was someone else with her who didn't help make the shake or bother to take my order. I'm really disappointed at how long it took them to make one shake given that we were the only customers in the store. After she handed the shake over, I finally got to place my order for the banoffee dessert and we sat down in the sparsely decorated cafe. The desserts in a jar are essentially small deconstructed cakes but without the satisfaction of cake. The flavors are mediocre and the layers don't stick together as well as you would think for them being stacked on top of one another. While the banoffee dessert tasted similarly to a bananas foster, I'm not sure I would order it again because it was just graham cracker crumbs, whipped cream, and caramel/toffee for $8. The brownie shake wasn't very thick even though it tasted of blended brownies and was served with a fat bubble tea straw. There was a lot of brownie at the bottom of the jar that kind of gross since it had been sitting in the liquid of the shake for a while. The atmosphere and decor are okay but don't make you want to stick around for long, which I guess is fine since you're allowed to take the jars home - with their kind of profit margins, you sure would hope so. Honestly, this seems more like something that would do well at a small fair or farmer's market, but not worth have a full store front for.

Wow. The inside is light and flavorful while the top (snickers and chocolate) makes this jar of awesomeness even better. I tried to only eat half of the jar but ended up eating the whole thing because it was so good Highly recommend for an amazing dessert in Houston!

Heaven in a Jar just opened this past Sunday (6 days ago). I love desserts & have a major sweet tooth, so I was really looking forward to trying it out! The menu has a variety of dessert jars (layered desserts that you eat straight out of the jar), ice cream shakes, smoothies, and more. Part of their menu isn't available just yet (including açaí bowls & overnight oats) I got 2 jars to-go because I was too full from dinner to eat any right away. Verdict: delicious!!!! At $7.99 a jar, it is a bit pricey, BUT the desserts are rich and rather large, so you can easily share 1 jar between 2 people. The flavors I got were: * s'mores (made with Biscoff cookies!) -- rich and sweet. The only thing I would have changed would be to have a thinner layer of marshmallows because their texture is so sticky/chewy. Lots of flavors from the multiple layers combined to make a flavor explosion. * brownie delight -- tasty and chocolatey, but not quite as sweet as the s'mores. It's located between the martial arts place and Darque Tan. A few doors down from Half Price Books. Parking is plentiful. I'll definitely be back to try their other offerings!

Smoothies/juices are the bomb!!!!! I love the kale power so far. I can taste the cashews banana kale avocadoes pistachio almonds honey and milk. Freaking great. I think it's is well worth the $7. Be mindful that this is a mom and pop shop and not your local disgusting smoothie king. This is not sweet at all and super healthy. A++++ By 5: tropical and mildly sweet. Mangos strawberries. Pineapple kiwi and banana. Very good.

This place has amazing deserts in a jar. I love the Oreo cheesecake and they have smoothies and ice cream shakes. They make homemade dips. Please try them out! Amazing and delicious!

I actually really loved and enjoyed this place until I put a order in for key lime pie and opened my jar just to discover a hair sitting on top of the whipped cream. Typically, I wouldn't fuss to much about things like this but since it's not a quick drive for me and the option wasn't available on Uber ... I had to put a order in just to have my time wasted and not be able to eat it . The people hear really should start wearing hair caps. Also, every time I walk to through the door the person at the door is so busy on the phone that they neglect to give a greeting . Great desserts they just need to be more sanitary and customer friendly . Update: The owner has reached out to me personally with a solution. I can tell by the sentiment of her message that She truly does care about her customers and I appreciate her reaching out to address my concerns.

This place is absolutely the cutest! I'm glad I stumbled upon this place in sugar land. They have customized jars with different flavors of cakes. Very nice presents to gift! They also add a box and can customize them. My favorite flavors so far include them tiramisu, gulab jamun and the date cheesecakes. Everything else is tasty too! Def give this place a try! My best friend gifted me a box of these jars for my birthday. It was delivered to my house as well, all nicely wrapped with bows. I fell in love with the Smores with Biscoff flavor. A spoonful tasted indeed like heaven in a jar (especially with the marshmallow and Biscoff). I also liked the Oreo Cheesecake and Espresso Cheesecake. The Tiramisu was also good, but I thought the toppings were a bit too sweet. Apparently, they also do catering. I bet it would be a popular treats at weddings and such. If you haven't given them a try yet, do it now! I'm glad I did because I will definitely come back for more!

This place is a tiny gem in a depressing parking lot I say to myself sometimes. (I'm a sweets guy) Every flavor Ive had was wonderful and the store owners work so hard to keep the quality and production Consistent

The best place for uniquely handcrafted dessert jars, while being aesthetically pleasing and delicious at the same time. Mason jars filled with a variety of scrumptious cakes will truly satisfy your sweet tooth along with mouthwatering milkshakes, açaí bowls, & savory dips. I love this concept and I love sweets. I appreciate how nice the young lady was at the front desk. She explained what ingredients were in each cake. I chose the red velvet and the Oreo. I wanted to like them. But I didn't. They weren't that flavorful or very sweet. The airiness of the pudding was good but the cakes in both tasted dry. But not just that it tasted lack luster. Neither had no real taste. The Oreo one was a little better but you just can't have heaven in a jar with dry cake. I'm sad because I was very excited to try this. I did like the decorative look of the jars!

I was in the area and came across this place. I wish I hadn't eaten first because I would have gotten the açaí jar which looked really good. I chose to pick up dessert to take home. I got the biscuit cake, biscoff, yellow cake, chocolate mousse, with whipped cream and chocolate chips on top. The small jar is still a lot, filled with layers of pure joy. I think I'll be stealing spoonfuls all weekend since it's too rich to consume all at once. I appreciate that they offer a discount if you bring back your jar to lessen waste. I can't wait to try more of the menu on my next trip out to Sugarland.

This place is perfect for the person who wants to have a nightcap dessert spot with that special someone. The concept is great where they have different flavors of Cakes baked within mason jars. I got an espresso cheesecake and my friend got red Velvet Cheesecake. They bake about 6 different cakes daily but more on request. The cakes were moist and baked throughout. I would definitely recommend the Brownie chocolate shake if you really like chocolate. The atmosphere and décor is cute but there was only one other group in there besides me, I hope more people can visit this great dessert spot! Also, you can get a discount if you check-in on Yelp!

We came on a Wednesday evening around 6:00 and there were just a few teenagers inside hanging out. They had a limited menu still available. I had the strawberry cheesecake in a jar and my husband had the oreo cheesecake. They both were delicious and we saved half for the following day. I think it is a little expensive for an 8 oz serving. You are paying for the jar as well so I guess they have to markup the prices to make a decent profit. You can get a much larger piece of cheesecake and the same quality for a better price elsewhere. Cute concept but with high prices and competitors offering desserts at lower prices this seems like a go once to experience it kind of place.

Great acai jars for a fair price! I came here this past week and I'm already thinking of when I can go back. The cashier was really sweet and the acai jar I ordered was delicious, packed with fresh fruit on top, and really filling. The fruit on top was surprisingly sweet without being overly tart. Many places charge $9+ for acai bowls, so I'm pretty happy about the price. ($6.99). My friend ordered the Oreo cheesecake jar and he had zero complaints as well. I'm curious to come back and try their actual desserts! The cafe itself is small and sweet. It's not too busy during certain hours of the day, but hey, it is Sugar Land.
