Pretty good cajun food, pretty place, pretty pricey. The centrally located Seven on Heaven offers a wide variety of cajun fare, from gumbo to shrimp to chicken burgers, they have it all. The place is really nicely done up, from the moment you enter, you'll feel like you've been transported and immersed in the cajun culture. It certainly does get you in the mood for the good food that is to come.
I had the sliders, which were pretty small for their price. But they do pack a punch. Each bite was better than the last and the flavours just kept on coming. I particularly liked the shrimp slider, crispy and juicy at the same time. I also had some fried chicken and it was pretty much the same story, crispy, juicy and full of spices. It was a delight to eat.
They handle large groups well, saw a lot of big tables filled up when I was there. The service was pretty prompt as well. I know this place is known for its gumbo and I'll have to try that the next time I visit.
